Aspen Dental canceled appointment

I called and scheduled an appointment for today October 29. I show up for my appt 30 mins early only to find out that because I was unable to answer the telephone when they called to confirm my appt, it was canceled. I took today off from work for nothing. I am currently sitting in the lobby waiting and hoping someone cancels. This is rediculous if this is the rules they should make this clear when you call to schedule the appt.

Aspen Dental billing incorrect, unable to get permanent partial plate due to it

I, Cathy Parker had several teeth pulled an a parital plate made on 3/5/18 at Aspen Dental in Venice Florida. 4246 S Tamiami Trail, Venice, FL [protected]. My United Health Insurance was billed. I was told to pay $350 dollars and that was all I would owe by Allen the office manager. I asked several times about this and was assured this is true. 3 months later my husband started receiving calls from collection agency on an outstanding bill, we never received a bill from aspen. They rejected over 1, 000 worth of work. I checked with United health and was told some of the teeth extractions were rejected for various reasons and a double claim was made on an item. I called the office and Allen was to file an appeal having the doctor write a letter. Month went by nothing at my insurance, I called the office again took several times to get ahold of allen. I called the complaint line for aspen twice they took my complaint but no calls back from them. On Sept 10 I talked with Allen and he told me to go to the Aspen dental office if Fairlawn Ohio (as I have now moved) on 9/13 at 10 am for he had made an appointment for me to get my temporary partial lined and would arrange with them something for my permanent one. I went, they had no idea who I was and I did not have an appointment. But they saw me anyway, and was calling Allen. they told me they could not do anything with my partial that I needed a new one. And they would not do it, even with me paying until I took care of the balance owed from Florida. Allen assured me he was sending letter. I called today 10.26 to United Health they have not received anything. I called the Venice office and was told he was with client and could not speak to me. I explained to the receptionist that he needed to call me back as I need teeth! I cannot get anywhere with this...I am having difficulty chewing food with out any back or side teeth on my upper gums. I want the bill cleared and I want them to produce a permanent partial like promised.

Aspen Dental I was given the wrong information on 3 different occasions!!!

I (claudia w.) was in your aspen dental office in orland park illinois about a month ago and got an exam and after they told me what I needed to get done to my mouth, they said they called my medlife insurance and then told me that I had no benefits. I knew this was incorrect because hardly used any of my dental benefits for this year. So I called and my insurance told me that I had plenty of coverage to use and that aspen dental was totally wrong. After that incident they gave me another quote and said that for the scaling of my teeth in all 4 areas that my out of pocket would be around $200.00. I went into my appointment yesterday (10/24/18) to get the work performed and pay the $200.00, but instead they told me that who ever put in the charges into your system that they did it incorrectly, and now I would have to pay over $600.00 for the scaling of my teeth. I asked for a print out of the paper work and told them how very unprofessional they are and that I will not give them my business because all of this wrong information has caused a lot of doubt about their services and their professionalism. This office in orland park is very unprofessional and should not be conducting business. I feel that someone should be held accountable for all of this wrong information and I would not be surprised if someone sues your company for false information and taking peoples money under false pretenses. I would like to somehow be compensated and refunded for the money I spent through my insurance for the initial exam, considering all of the frustration I have gone through regarding this matter. Please respond to my email @ [protected]@comcast.net.

Aspen Dental billing

I've been billed the last 2 times that I have visited the Aspen dental in Hiram and both were supposed to be covered by insurance. The first bill was covered by insurance because Aspen dental did not send the invoice in time and when it got denied, rather than communicating with my insurance company, they sent me the bill. I am working on handling the second bill now, I am not satisfied with customer service thus far. On a positive note, the employees do a great job with cleaning my teeth, X-rays, etc...

Aspen Dental dental non service

I went in on 10/23 based on information from your website that you can repair dentures. That was all I wanted. I was told I needed panoramic and regular exrays, treatment for periodontal disease, a cleaning a deeper cleaning, and a root canal on a tooth that isn't even bothering me. Then on top off all of that which my insurance does not cover you can't repair my denture only make me a new one AND all because "it's the law". There is no law that all of those things are needed. Now my gums are getting abcessed by my partial rubbing them in one spot. I hold Aspen Dental responsible due to false advertising, bait and switch tactics and full on negligence

Aspen Dental overpriced broken dentures

Have complained since day one. I went in with a coupon for dentures for $ 1500.00 and needing 6 teeth pulled according to them. I was thinking $1000.00 for ectractions yay, not bad. Hell it's over $5200.00.
They scare me to death with a biopsy they totally screw up.
I am still paying for them and the FRONT tooth I told them was loose finally fell out. Since the Somerset Ky., does not care or respond I am taking this and the get an attorney route.
I asked for the bottom a certain way but didn't get it although promised. Ill fitting now super glued as well.
My whole time in the office I did complain and never did anyone try to resolve my concerns or issues.
There is no "customer satisfaction gaurantee" as far as I can see. It reflects on the whole Aspen Dental name not just the Somerset KY., office.
I am sick of shoddy treatment at ennormous cost.

Aspen Dental billing

I visited Aspen Dental in Waltham MA. and after discussing with the Insurance I was told how much it will cost me and I paid what they asked which is $602.After the work is done, I had some problem but the Dentist and her help were very good to help. Then I received another bill for $374.60 and when I asked the reason she blamed the Insurance for not paying and keep telling me that I have signed to pay which I never denied. If I had known that it will cost me that much I would have looked for another alternative.
When I contacted the Insurance I was told to Contact the Dental Office so they can fill out an Appeal Form explaining that everything done is part of the first Procedure.I informed this to the Manager and she said they will do that. After a while I keep getting the same bill. I contacted my Insurance if they received the Appeal but they said no.Then I contacted the Dental Office and asked why they didn't send the Appeal Form and the answer wasn't satisfactory.Again I asked her to send the Form and I am not sure if she did but still getting the Bill. I am also getting a reminder note that I have to make an appointment for the final Partial Dentures.I don't know how to proceed from here.
Account # 4657280.

Thanks for your help,

Aspen Dental extractions

Told them I had bad dental experience before and I had anxiety. I was told I would be prescribed a valium. I wasn't, the dentist didn't introduce herself before my procedure. The dentist and assistant talked about other things, wedding, kids, Halloween the entire time. I have had other dental procedures and never once felt the needle go in my mouth, usually it's like a pinch. If they paid attention to what they were doing they would have numbed my mouth correctly before they put needle in my mouth. My dentures don't fit. I have already went back. I have to go back again because I can't close my mouth and I have to go back to work. I would expect the dentist to look at my mouth after procedure to see if everything is ok. I'm in more pain than I have ever been in after dental procedure. I almost left before my extractions and now I wish I would have.

Aspen Dental billing

Service Date: 04/17/2018
Aspen Dental, Waco, TX
Client: QUINTERO, Isolda M.
P. O. Box 8754 Waco TX 76710
[protected]
I had cleaning services on 04/17/2018. It was my every-6-month visit.

On 6/2018 I got a bill from Aspen Dental, for the cleaning services.

I did not know of the change. Aspen Dental-Waco did not verify my elegibility on the service day, and 5 weeks after the appointment sent me a bill.
I contacted my insurance provider and found out that the provider had changed and Dental had not been assigned as my dental office.

I spoke to Aspen Dental several times between 5/2018 and now. The billing person, Mr. Rodriguez, told me not to worry; he said that the billing process was slow and that I did not need to worry.

Today I received a Collection Notice, account # 6606035.

My complaint at Aspen Dental is because:
1. On the day of service I was checked in as if I was elegible for the services without out-of-pocket cost;
2. When I contacted Aspen Delta in Waco, I was assured by Mr. Rodriguez that I did not need to do anything until hearing from him or Aspen Dental;
3. Aspen Dental has sent me to collections without informing me, thus, betraying my trust in the employee who has been responding to my calls.
4. Aspen Dental has a duty to inform a client of the cost of services prior to the services being provided and not afterwards.
5. I am requesting that Aspen Dental erase this charge.

Aspen Dental aspen dental dalton ga... please beware of this scammer!

Iris R.
Yes same thing. At the cleaning they said I had a mild bit of periodontal disease; they said it wasn't severe and I hadn't lost any bone. Long story short I had a tooth that had come out and they were to put a tooth in and continue the periodontal treatment. My coworker told me to run while I had a chance when I told her I was going there for treatment. I got out somewhat in time. At my visit I was coerced into getting a DentalFirst plan which would cover my full treatment. I immediately backed off any further consultations and treatments. I was given a 130 dollar toothbrush, and I only got a x-ray and one side cleaned for periodontal...drummrolll...my overage was 400 on my DentalFirst card; that was after the 1800 reversal...then they charge me 700 dollars for what I do not know. I was told the full services were on my card, so why am I paying more money on top of what I owe? I asked the lady, "So a half periodontal cleaning, x-ray, and toothbrush, which remind you I am already paying for on the card, is around 1300 dollars?" "She said yes"...I'm sensing a scam..please do not go here. I will definitely not be paying this, they got me messed up!

Aspen Dental periodontal cleaning

On July 16, 2018 I went in to Aspen Dental after having made an appointment to get a cavity filled. I went in and they did lots of xrays. They then examined my teeth and told me I had periodontist and that they wanted to do a cleaning. This is the first time I had heard of this and I asked if they could still fix the tooth that was hurting me. I was told they could fill my cavity because of the bacteria from the periodontitis. I explained that I was in a lot of pain, which they knew because my blood pressure was high and they checked it quite a few times. They told me cleaning should help with the pain so I agreed. I was never told how much the cleaning would cost. I was told it would cost over $25, 000 to fix everything. A lady asked me to sign up for a credit card to cover what my insurance would not. I asked her how much my insurance would pay and she said she did not know because they had not run it yet. I was approved for a credit line of $2, 500 with dental first financing. I have paperwork showing that I financed $1, 383.54. That is all the paperwork I have. It does not tell me what exactly that money went to. When I got my credit card bill I was charged $2, 106.28. I have no idea what that money went to. All I know was I went there in pain and left in even worse pain and in debt.

Aspen Dental charging me more money than what was agreed upon

I went to Aspen dental to have my teeth pulled and to get dentures I was quoted a price now they say I need to pay more bc they messed up. The lady I have spoken to is rude and has brought so much anxiety to my life. My dentures are paid for however they will not give them to me it is absurd and extremely stressful. I spoke with the doctor he said he will pull my chart and call me back he never did. I want to sue them for quoting me a price then turning around saying I owe more.

Aspen Dental full mouth teeth extraction/shotty dentures

I had all of my teeth pulled 1/19/17 after being examined and pretty much scared into it after being told that my bad teeth were putting toxins in my body that were/would kill me. Day of pulling they shot me up with so much Novacaine that I swell up to the point if I didn't breath through my mouth and keep my mouth open at all times I would have suffocated. The dentures were put in my mouth and the bottom one was to big. Had to many teeth in it( I'd had 2 extracted when I was a teen cuz my bottom jaw was over crowded). They refused to listen to me or do anything about it. I may have managed a total of 3 days wearing the t before I totally and utterly gave up on it. Within a month of having them I lost a tooth out of the top eating pizza. They are crap. I only ware my top and they have patch jobs all over them. The same tooth fell out about 4 months ago and after all the headache I refused to go back. Within the last 3 weeks 2 more have fallen out.

Aspen Dental misrepresentation of dental work and barges for those services.

I went to Aspen dental to get work done to my teeth. They took X-rays and then one of the dentist and the hygienist examined my teeth and said that I needed heavy duty cleaning and had a couple cavities that needed filled. I was told that the procedure would have to take place on two separate occasions. Hey would take one day andok on the right side of my mouth, and the next day to work on the left side. Was shown to Scheduling and also to find out how much this procedure would cost, I made my first appointment then I was told the cost would amount to a little over $800. I paid for half the bill and said goodby, and was very surprised about the price.the following week I showed up for my appointment, and before any work was done they asked me to pay for the remainder of the bill, I asked why did I have to pay the rest of the bill since no work has yet to be done. They told me it was procedure. I told them there was no way I was pay it he rest of the money and asked for the money back that I had already paid. After slight argument about getting back my money I was shown to the office of I guess office manager. Leah, who seemed so very nice and who managed to talk me into getting the work done, For the amount that was quoted me. I told Leah that I would get my teeth cleaned but I would forego the cavities at this time. They did the cleaning. It was not the cleaning that they quoted me on, that was supposed to take two days, it was just a regular cleaning, it took about one hour maybe a little longer. When it was done, I went to talk to Leah, but she was busy with some other people and she told me that we were now even I did not owe them any more money. And said goodby. My mistake I did not ask for a receipt. I trusted Leah. About three weeks later I got a bill from Aspen Dental for $1, 400.00
I went over to their office to talk to Leah and she told me not to worry about it. The main office takes a while to get their records in order. Again I trusted her. Now I have a collection agency trying to collect over $2, 000.00 from me. What do I do. I am a senior citizen and a widow and I guess I was just too trusting and did not believe that any person could be so dishonest. What can I do. Please help me.

Aspen Dental extract w/ bone remv/sectn

I went in on October 12th 2018 for a tooth extraction. I was numb up with 3 shots. Then Dr Khan went to take the tooth out. I felt a great deal of pain and only a piece of the tooth was removed. Then the dr explained to me she couldn't get the rest of the tooth out and that there was no more she could do and I would have to come back when the dental surgeon is in the office to have it completely removed. I told her I was in alot of pain and had to go to work. She said all they could give was Tylenol 3 for pain. A few hours later that day I took the Tylenol 3. When the shots wore off, I was in the worse pain I have ever been in, and to the point where I was also nauseous. (I also went to work had to leave and lost 6 hrs of pay.) So my husband took me to St Joe hospital. The ER physician stated it was so mangled that she gave me a shot of hydromorphone with promethazine. And sent me home with Norco. I have another appt with Aspen Dental in Mishawaka on Oct 17th with the dental surgeon and I petrified. I am demanding a refund of $78.40 so I can go to a different dentist and get this tooth out once and for all. I paid for a service and it made the situation 100 times worse and the tooth didnt get removed. I will have to miss another day of work. This is the worst dental experience I ever had.

Aspen Dental jeremy dzingle dds (the dentist)

Date of service - 9/14/18

I called to have a regular check up scheduled plus a consultation about a possible implant procedure. I must say the receptionist and hygienist was very professional. After getting my teeth cleaned the dentist came in. The first concern I had was, he never directly addressed me about my dental experience. He only asked me one question, the rest of the time he addressed the hygienist as if I wasn't sitting there. he kindly told the hygienist what I needed, and what his plan was. When he was done, I finally got to ask a question. I asked, what about my consultation for implants, he turned around and said "You are no candidate for any kind of implant procedure and you should just stick with what I told you". Later that day I researched an oral surgeon for more answers, and a second option. I was told to make an appointment for a consultation, and I would need a referral from the dentist I had just visited. I called back the next day asking for a referral, I was told the dentist was on vacation and I would have to wait. I waited about two weeks to call back; I was then told " the dentist said he would not give me a referral because he felt you should follow the procedures he had proposed". I didn't know a dentist could be so rude, all I wanted was a second opinion. Does he treat everyone like this, or just some people!

Truly Shocked

Aspen Dental permanent denture/adjust bill

It will be a year Oct 23 that I had my surgery done. Per my agreement I was to have new Upper Dentures to replace my old ones and New bottom dentures post surgery. I requested a run down of all my appts and the service provided. What was given me was incomplete. The Top Temporary dentures are fine... The Bottom temporary dentures are awful. My last appointment there to be fitted (date unknown and not provided by Aspen) I told them the bottom dentures do not work and don't stay in. they recommended using adhesive. That worked UNTIL I took first bite of food, which was mashed potatoes incidently and flew out. I work with the public and can't be talking to clients and having this issue. Absolutely nothing has been done to correct the issue. I want the Upper Permanent Dentures done as the fit is perfect. I DO NOT WANT THE BOTTOM DENTURES; PERIOD AND WANT THE COST REMOVED FROM MY BILL
