My mother went to aspen dental in orange Connecticut, she went in they gave her a price of 1200.00 and they agreed ok she ask for dentures ok all was well until she received her dentures and they were extremely to big for her mouth and what ever chemical they used on her dentures made her face swell up. So she called aspen dental and told them her problem and they brushed her. They told her there was nothing to be done, now she received her credit card statement and saw they charged her card 1700.00 and now she have dentures that look like horse teeth and they have a bad smell to them the dentures smell rotten. And think that is wrong for them to treat their new customers. I feel they should help and solve this problem by giving all that money back or fix the dentures and give some of the money back. Now i know this is a win win situation and i am not gonna sit back and let them scam my mother like this so someone needs to get back to me as soon as possible i will be forced to get the professionals involved. The patient name is mary johnson and if you need to get in touch with any one contact me her daughter amanda johnson at this e- mail address [protected]@comcast.net and i hope to hear from someone very soon. Thank you very much because aspen dental you made my day by scamming my mother.

Terrible! I had a $1600 crown put on 2 weeks ago and it started tasting rotten in my mouth. So, I went back and sure enough it was falling apart. They told me I must have a "stronger bite than most and that's why it's falling apart." What does that even mean?! So they have decided to put another one on, but I'm not planning on going back. I'm hoping to go to another dentist and get my money back. Also, I had a few fillings done and I don't know what they used. But whatever it was is starting to irritate my gums. I wish I would have known how terrible this place was before wasting all this time and money!

I went to work for Aspen Dental after being layed off from a job. First it took them over two weeks to give me my new employee paperwork, the pay is low and they discovered after I started this position that I was 61 years old. I was suppose to be trained by their employee named Whitney, an expectant mother. She sat with me five minutes one day, started screaming at me because a person on the other end of the phone hung up on me, (like I have control over what other people do) went away and then later on told me she didn't have any patience in the afternoon, her hormones where acting up and she would train me the next morning.

Of course the next morning came and she was too busy to train me - this pattern continued on for five weeks. Also, there are three desks up front and normally I was the one without a desk or a computer. If I sat at a desk in the morning I was told to move. If my boss told me to do something she screamed that she wanted someone else to do that. Also, she had plenty of time to sit with the people who are in the twenties.

It was nothing but age discrimination right from the beginning. At the end she made up a bunch of lies about me to the regional manager named Kurt. This girl set me up for failure right from the beginning, they let me go because they said I wasn't a fit for the job - duh - I wonder why?

With people of this kind working for Aspen Dental, I wouln't trust them to do my paperwork or work on my teeth either. The short time I was there I felt so sorry for so many patients that walked in. They can't even keep their bills or paperwork straight, I'm not sure there is anyone in the company that knows what their doing. There is a click of [censor]y women that aren't going to let anyone with brains in.

Ask friends or your doctor for a recommendation. People of this kind do not have your best interest at heart.

I honestly checked out the dentist that I was seeing at my local Aspen Dental and he is wonderful. I have not experienced any of these issues. I am sorry to hear so many have. It is very important to meet, do a background check on the professional experience and so forth BEFORE you give them any money.
My dentist has many many years of experience in his field, and the staff all speak fluent English and would never treat me the way as described.

While some of these places may have dentists that are less than professional, it is a over generalization to say ALL Aspen Dental locations are like the above described.

ALWAYS do a mega-amount of research before letting someone have an intimate relationship with your mouth!

Oh my god. I wish I would have done my research about this place before going to them. I only picked them because they're on my Preferred Dentist list for MetLife.

I'm 29 years old and had all 4 wisdom teeth out a week ago Monday (5/24/10). The surgery went ok. There was no swelling and a lot of numbness. Friday rolls around and the numbness is still there now with a crapload of pain. So I called the office I went to (Pittsburgh, PA, Shadyside) and informed them of my problem. The girl I talked to on the phone informed me that the numbness was normal and it can sometimes last up to a month. I'm like "WTF? I have to wait a month for this to go away?!"

I also told her that my bottom lip and my chin are totally numb and the place where he put in the stitches sends a jolt to my bottom lip when touched. Also, there's still a chunk of tooth in the one hole. She also said this was normal. Bullcrap. The office manager called me back and told me that the oral surgeon that performed the extraction was at another office and if I wanted him to look at it, I would have to go to him. Now, the office he's at is on the OTHER side of Pittsburgh. Actually outside of Pittsburgh. I dont drive and I don't have anyone available to give me a ride to the office. he proceeded to tell me "Well here's the number and address of the office so you can go see him."

I knew it was like beating a dead horse so I said ok and just hung up. I called back today (6/1/10) and talked to him yet again. He told me "I gave you the info last week of where he was going to be. There's nothing else I can do for you." I said well if I can't get there what am I supposed to do? His response: "I really don't know what to tell you." By this time I'm fuming. I hung up and called the University of Pittsburgh Dental School. The woman, although sympathetic, proceeded to tell me their doctors will just refer me back to the [censor] that pulled my teeth in the first place. Ugh. I wouldn't even take my cat to this place.

Moral of the story: Never trust a dental place that has a roaming oral surgeon.

Oh, AND DO NOT EVER GO TO ASPEN DENTAL.

I just want to say thank you to all those who have posted something about Aspen Dental. I am a 31 yr old freelance web designer who has horrible teeth and no insurance. I had one dentist I was paying cash but to my surprise he was doing half-assed work because I have no insurance. So I stopped going to him. He never fixed anything, just patched it to only worsen later on. I asked about dentures, and he told me I was too young. WTF.!? Anyways, I had been considering many options for I am in serious pain from time to time, and feel my only real option is to get dentures (for I can only eat soft foods @ room temp, not to mention I am unable to smile.) I again thank all of you for your posts, for at first glance from the commercials, it seems to be a legit option.

I'm from the Milwaukee, WI area. If anyone knows of a good dentist that maybe able to help me please let me know. If a Dentist is reading this and needs a website, I would gladly barter for some dental work.

I also went to "ASPEN" Dental. I can agree with most negative postings here. Because I did not commit to a payment plan, they didn't give the perscription for the antibiotic that I needed to cure the infection before futher work. I need a partial lower. After reading about ill-fitting dentures, I feel this may be a ploy to cause repeated visits to help the bottom line as others have mentioned here. I am seeking alternatives to using ASPEN Dental.

I wanted to check out Aspen Dental's patient's opinions (or should I say former patient's opinions), because I am 2 weeks away from graduating from a dental assisting program at a technical college. I had to complete 300 hours of externship as part of my requirements and let me tell you, the first office I worked for was sooo wonderful and the second was a nightmare. Having such different experiences made me very aware of what I want to look for when applying for a job. I have heard awful awful thing about Columbia Dental so I wasn't even going to see if they were hiring, but I haven't ever heard anything about Aspen so upon seeing their ad for hire I was curious if they were anything like Columbia (since they are both largely marketed practies). Well I guess they are! It sounds like they are all about "turnover" and making money, and they don't give a s**t about they patient's at all. SHAME ON YOU ASPEN DENTAL! You are exactly the kind of people/company that I do NOT want to work for. A person's smile mirrors self-confidence, so if you mess with their pearly whites then you are messing with a lot more than just a cavity.

OMG - TY
I am an assault victim and I need to have my front bridge repaired. I did schedule an appointment at the Poughkeepsie NY office ... and I am cancelling it. Emotionally I am a wreck about my front teeth as it is! And - I simply can NOT imagine the Hell you all have been put thru! The complete lack of compassion and caring is horrifying! I will not even mention the insurance and money woes this dental group has wrought! ty for saving me some tears.

I went to Aspen as well. If I had read these compliants before, I would have went somewhere else. I did not go for the free exam and x-rays. I went in for a cleaning. They did not tell me the first appointment woud be a huge waste of time. I got x-rays, had to watch a stupid video so they could try to make me spend mone on an unnecessary test, and then had the consultation with their sales lady. She gave me an amount that would be due from me, which my insurance wouldn't cover. She tried to get me to sign up for the care credit, I declined. I came in a week later to finally get my teeth cleaned. I arrived 15 minutes early and sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes. then I sat in the chair for another 10 waiting for them to start cleaning my teeth. I then had to come in a week after that to get two fillings, and come back another week later to get my wisdom teeth out. I only had a problem with the bottom two, but they practically demanded that I get all 4 out. I was put under for the extractions and woke up AFTER I was already shoved in the car. My husband said later that he doesn't even know how I made it to the waiting room, because my eyes were still closed and I was clearly not awake yet. I had to come back a week later for a second cleaning. A month of dentist appointments, so that ASPEN could make more money. They gave me a rotadent toothbrush, mouthwash and toothpaste, never mentioning that it would cost me over $200 and insurance doesn't cover that. I also brought my child there for a cleaning, they didn't do. My child spent 20 minutes in the chair watching spongebob. We could have did that at home!

I went to Aspen Dental in Marion, IN. I met with the dentist, had all the usual procedures, and disgussed my options. My husband joined the conversation at this point with the addition of the office manager to disguss money. My husband opted for me to have THE top of the line denture, submitted our insurance and paid the rest in full immediatly. Then the horror began. The temporary denture was so obviously not made for me, I am a 5"-5" 50 year old female with a smaller than average sized mouth. They knew that, they had just taken Xrays and impressions. Rather, these dentures appeared to have been made for Sasquatch. They were so large I could not close my upper and lower lips together. They told me it was due to the swelling, and to come back in 24 hours. The next day, still looking like I should have slept the night standing up in a stall, again I was informed it was normal swelling. The next day the denture was causing so much pain from being so ill fitting I went to the office to make them do right. I became so angry I called the doctor a prima donna "B" word. She slammed the denture onto the tray so hard it fell to the floor and bounced as she stormed out of the room. I was wrong for calling her a "B" word, even though I was in pain and being forced to wear a denture so ill made that I can't even eat, just swallow blood. Enter Dr. 2. Agrees the denture was grossly oversized which ticks off the lab tech, who by now has decided she hates me especially for calling attention to her inept work. blah blah blah 2 weeks later I am healed enough for a 2nd impression ordered by Dr.2 and 2 days later on my husbands formidable insistance that Aspen has put me through enough indignity and do right by me, I go in today to get the replacement denture and that nasty lab tech made it look like creighton teeth, only 3 shades whiter and fanned out on the side. Knowing I am going out of town. Now as far as I can see there is only 2 reasons the second denture was as bad as the first... she is either inept and should be fired because I have every legal right to demand yet a 3rd denture at their expense, or she so blatently villinized me to the point she purposely messed it up to get even to me for being mean (and in pain) to Dr.1 and calling attention to her shoddy first attempt to make a proper denture in which case we are talking about an ethical situation, which could result in a lawsuit and an investigation against Aspen Dental for misconduct to a patient. I have been litterally "ganged" up on by this staff to the point my friend accompanied me and refered to the staff as "witches around a cauldron" the way I was being spoken to. I will call the Central Office again tomorrow. I have to go to Texas all next week wearing a bottom plate about 3 shades whiter than the top and with grossly ill-sized and ill-shaped teeth, and a strange fanned out area on the left. It's well past midnight and I am so upset I cannot sleep. This is not over.

2 years ago, my husband and I went to Aspen in Rome, NY and had too many complaints to list here. But to sum it up, the few problems we had would cost us $ 2500 out of pocket after 2 insurance coverages. We kept being told that the work had to get "preapproval" and they were just waiting on the insurance company. We had many 3 way calls and were on the phone with the insurance company and Aspen when the fax came in for the preauthorizations and yet another excuse. The dentist was deported. Then the dentist that replaced him passed away. Then the office manager was on vacation, the secretary had a baby and couldn't make appointments. Needless to say, we went elsewhere. However, Aspen had put a hold on our benefits as if they had started the work and we had to fight with the insurance company that no work had been done. Our new dentist took time from his schedule to take photos and send them to the insurance company. The insurance company cancelled all contact with Aspen and we had our work done elsewhere and are satisfied. But with the delay, our work was more extensive and our cost $ 24.00. They continued to try to bill the insurance for a year after we didn't go there. So make sure you inform your insurance company that you severed ties with Aspen so they don't mess you up on your benefits.

I have repeatedly tried to contact Aspen Dental regarding this problem and I still haven't "found my smile".
At this point I'm more than a little frustrated.
This situation has gone on for almost 6 months and it's at the point of being ridiculous.
I first went to the No. Dartmouth, MA office in Sept. 2009. Let me begin by saying that I have had dentures for many, many years. This is my 3rd upper denture and never have I had a problem like this one.

Dr. Becker had dentures made for me that never fit properly. Initially I couldn't even chew with them. He filed them down, relined them and tried to make them fit to no avail.
I have been back to that office so many times that I'm beginning to feel like I work there.

After Dr. Becker left, I had to return again for the same problem. At that time there was another dentist there who told me that when I put my dentures in I should swallow a few times and that would create suction so they wouldn't slip. I never heard anything so ridiculous in all of my life. That's when I contacted the Aspen main office

I was then told that you were going to do a hard reline and that I should go in to be fitted for a temporary denture to wear during that process.
This time there was another dentist there who said no, that wouldn't work. He said that I should have a new denture made that fit. Impressions were taken again and I was to go back for the 2nd impression.

When I returned there was yet another dentist. She said no to the impressions and told me that I had excess tissue in my mouth and that I would need to see the oral surgeon to have it removed before she would make a new impression.

OK. now I go back to have the oral surgeon, Dr. David Lee look at my mouth. He said that he didn't want to do it there because it would be "too bloody". I should have laser surgery and he referred me out to another oral surgeon in the area.

My concern was if this procedure would be covered by my insurance. Aspen Dental couldn't tell me wether it was or not. They did say that the fee for doing in their office was 475.00. I called the oral surgeons office to make an appointment and to find out if it was covered only to be told that they don't do laser surgery. That was on 2/17.
I called Aspen Dental back to tell them that the oral surgeon didn't do laser surgery. Angela the secretary thought it was funny I guess because she started laughing. She told that she would be check on it and get back to me. It's now March 12 and I still haven't heard anything back.

I'm tired of getting a run around. I'm still paying for teeth that are worthless. I can't afford the oral surgery that they are claiming that I need. If I had been told at the onset about this supposed surgery that would be needed prior to making dentures I'm sure the outcome would have been quite different. I would have know what I was dealing with and may have even gone for a 2nd opinion from a reputable dentist .

I'm sorry that I ever heard of Aspen Dental. I wish that I had gone to a reputable dentist but it's too late now.

I want this situation corrected and I don't want to have to wear these ill fitting, uncomfortable, embarrassing dentures for another 6 months.

I'm looking into the possibility of a class action lawsuit. If anyone is interested in being involved, pls. contact me at pattispalette@verizon.net.

I'm investigating the procedure for a class action lawsuit.
Would you want to be involved?

I have just started going to Aspen, only had 1 appt so far. I read through all the complaints and haven't seen any for the office I am going to, so I am hoping that not all of them are the same. I noticed most of the complaints seem to be coming from 2 main states... Anyway, half brained or not, I am going to continue seeing them. Hopefully I can come back here in a few months once all of my work is done and say good things about the Aspen Dental I am going to! I will for sure come back and let everyone know how my visits/work goes with them either way.

This is sad all that I am reading from all these patients. I also had problems with Aspin. Everytime they pulled a tooth they would damage the ones next to it and I would eventually have to pull that one to and it happened a couple of time. Since I started seeing them I have lost four teeth and I don't believe the ones they pulled really needed to come out they just wanted to push there bridges that everyone I know that went there and had bridges put in are not happy. I also had dentists walk away from me while doing work they can't make there own decisions because they are a scam house they do what ever they have to do to get as much money out of you as they can not what is best for your. This make me angry what Aspin is doing it is crininal and they should be shut down they are no good. The office I visited was in Bitteford, Maine.

I took my family to Aspen Dental for X-Rays/Cleanings in Portland, ME a year and a half ago. They spent FOREVER doing our xrays and coming up with a "Plan" to correct all our dental woes, but they NEVER did our cleanings - the main reason we went in there. It was a waste of time money. I am calling to day to have my dental records forwarded to a new office. When I told the new office that they didn't even do our cleanings, and that's what we were scheduled for, she said she had heard that from several people before. Ridiculous!

Aspen Dental is a scam and please do not go there. They only want your money. I went to get my exam and cleaning but they tell me I have all type of problems and charged me 2, 500 worst of work that needs to be done. They said after my insurance and discounts I only needs to pay $1500. But they said they would not give me a cleaning unless I do a deep cleaning that would be about 300, but I will be paying 150 of that. I asked for a record of these diagnosis and they will not give it to me. They said they do not give out their doctor's opinion. The dentist is younger than me, I am 24. When I look around most of the staff are like from out of high school age. They make you take a whole mouth x-ray for pre-screening which I found out to be completely unnecessary. For a doctor's exam and x-ray WITHOUT CLEANING cost more than other dentists for exam, visit, and cleaning. I would not go there if they were not in my Provider network, But I would rather pay more out of pocket, than to have some CLOWN go into my mouth and ruin my teeth. I found another Dentist and he said I dont have anything except a regular cleaning (he has been a dentist for 25 years).

This is to Allie At Aspen Dental.

You have got to be kidding me. Aspen Dental is NOT concerned about "providing all patients with exceptional service and care" or customer satisfaction. There are complaints filed against MANY of your branches all over the North East and they all say the same thing.

I think people should file huge class action law suits against this JOKE of a company. I have told everyone I work with as well as family members (who pass my complaint on to others) that I wouldn't send a dying dog to Aspen Dental.

Dispute the charge on your card with the credit card company. Many time the charge will be removed. It's very easy to do and is worth a shot.

I went to the Aspen Dental in Rome NY May of '07. Words cannot express how infuriated I am with them.

I went in for a crown, and a filling in between # 11 and 12. When the dentist cemented the permanent crown, he was extremely rough. He did not use novacain, and I was in the worst dental pain I have ever experienced.

He filled between #'s 11 and 12 with a metal filling, which showed when I talked or smiled. It look like I had a cavity or food between my teeth ! He also did not check to ensure that there was adequate space between the teeth for flossing before I left. Every time I flossed, the floss would catch on the filling and the gum would bleed.

After several attempts to get a subsequent appointment and not have to wait for two hours in the waiting room, ( for which they are also notorious ) I finally got another appointment. I was told that the main reason I had to wait was because the dentist was running behind because they had a "difficult extraction" that took longer than expected, and they didn't get to have any lunch yet. So... they went to lunch !

Once I got in, the second dentist there replaced the bad filling with a tooth colored filling. When I got home, I noticed that I still had problems with floss getting caught on what seemed to be a ridge on the filling. The following week while flossing, the filling broke right off. I called Aspen and asked for the office manager, she was not in. I told the receptionist what happened. She did not even ask if I wanted to come in. I assumed she was going to have the office manager call me right back. This was on a Friday afternoon.

I did not receive a call from them until Monday. I asked if they had emergency slots or cancellations and she said no. We mutually agreed on appointment for several days later, but the day before my appointment I started to experience pain, and the gum around the tooth became red and swollen. I was afraid that I was getting an infection.

I called them again requesting an antibiotic or to get me in sooner. They did not have any openings, and REFUSED to prescribe me an antibitotic. I became fed up and decided to go back to my previous dentist to have him fix the tooth, which cost me an additional $120.00. He said that the gum around the tooth was on the verge of infection.

I suffered anxiety, loss of work, and pain because of their incompetence. Because they refuse to reimburse me anything at all, I am writing warn others about Aspen Dental. A complaint was registered with the BBB.

The bottom line is, my experience with Aspen Dental was nothing but TERRIBLE. They make their patients wait for hours, are over priced and in my experience they're dental services were incompetent. I know others who were treated similarly and are furious with them. STAY AWAY from them !

I agree with everything that I have read. I went to Aspen Dental in Terre Haute, IN. 2 years ago and was dissatisfied from the beginning. The staff was nice. I had a full set of dentures made. I didn't have a problem until I received them and I too thought they were off a little. The doctor didn't. I had seen 3 different dentists. I went back 1 time after wearing them for a week and I had a spot that hurt. The dentist told me to wait until it was a sore to come so they can see the problem. I didn't go back. Also, I have been sent to a collection agency because they are saying I owe them money. I have 2 insurances, I paid my copay and they charged my husbands insurance as primary and mine and secondary. My husbands insurance paid and they cashed the check ( I called and they told me what day that Aspen had cashed the check) and my insurance paid their part. Now I ask, how do I owe any money at all. I printed things off the internet for Aspen, my insurance and my husbands that proves it is paid but they still call me from Pinnical saying it is not paid. I am at my wits end. I'm going to try again printing things off and faxing them into pinnical and see what happens.

Its unfortunate what happened to you. I recommend that you ask your dental hygienist what the nature of the "ïnfection" is and whether you could be seen by the dentist to provide you with a proper diagnosis? Infections can be resolved with proper measures, and then you can simply go for your regular cleaning after you handle the matter.

I should have known better. Went into Aspen Dental because I felt that a front tooth filling was loose. I knew that I would, eventually, have to have the tooth crowned but just not able to swing it, financially, right now. They wanted to do a full set of x-rays and I balked... I just wanted the filling replaced. Finally gave in to one x-ray and the dentist came in, started roughly poking and digging around and the filling popped out. She said she could not replace the filling... I needed a crown and, hurridly, left the room. Their 'financial advisor came in and, after studying the chart, said that a crown would cost almost $1400 (about $400 above the going rate here, in Phoenix). I said that it might just as well be 14 million; couldn't afford a crown right now and asked what they were going to do about refilling the tooth... answer, "Nothing." So, here I am with the back part of my front tooth gone, afraid to even eat for fear of the tooth breaking. And they could care less. Stay away from this horrible company! Nothing but gypsies, tramps and thieves!

Yesterday was my first experience with Aspen dental. I thought I was going in for a cleaning but that never happened. I got x-rays and then met with the dentist. I really couldn't understand her because her accent was so thick. But that is fine..I just looked to the x-ray tech when I couldn't understand her. I started feeling uncomfortable when she had to ask the x-ray tech what certain teeth were called. Then she would laugh and say, "Oh that's right". Then she wanted to know if a tooth was hurting me. I told her no that I have not had any pain in that tooth. She then wacked my tooth with the handle of that metal pick and asked if that hurt...thought that was a little strange. After the poking and stabbing my gums with that same pick she told me my gums were bleeding (go figure) and that I needed something called a gum treatment. Okay... So then I go into a different office where I was told that I needed a total of $4335.00 dollars of dental work done. That is $4335.00 out of my pocket, the really total was over $8000.00. She told me I had to come in the next day to start getting everything done. I felt like I was sitting in a high pressure sales meeting. I left there with a bad feeling. To make a long story short I cancelled my appointment for today. I have made an appointment with a different dentist for a second opinion. If he says the same thing as Aspen then so be it. But I think when someone says thatyou need over $4000.00 dollars worth of work done it deserves a second opinion.

I agree to everyone I took my wife to Aspen Dental in Farmington Connecticut, first they took x-rays and the exam and 4 weeks later they gives the appointment to the cleaning, She was in periodontal process for the last 2 years and they recommend to do a regular cleaning this time, the surprise was at the end of the regular cleaning they charge my wife as a periodontal cleaning that my insurance did not pay because is allowed only two times in a 24 month period, they charges 1200 extra and they also want to charges 1000 for antibiotics, I think 1000 for antibiotics is ridiculous is so much money and we never agree to pay for a periodontal cleaning. They usually do work in people without consulting the patient. Also they we give them the old x-rays and any way the charge for the new ones that my insurance did not pay also. Not a good place to go. Also my wife had a filling and was the worst work ever she had she still in pain and when we call the they said it was normal and will disappear in a few days, we decided to go to a different place in west Hartford and they fix the problem, now I got a collection company calling and asking for a full payment. I don’t think is fair. Alex

Wow they have someone whose job is to damage control! That says a lot about this company!

I attempted to contact patient services, more than 3 days have passed since I contacted them and have heard nothing back...

What a joke! I will never set foot in an Aspen Dental again.

I have to say I went to Apsen dental out of desperation because I have not found a regular dentist in town yet and I had a flare up in one of my teeth. The people I spoke to seemed professional but as the day wore on and I was trying to get into one of their branches on a Saturday they seemed to have a lot of problems with just basic communication and that raised my hackles. I did not like the vibe of the place at all although everyone was pleasant enough. I also noticed that everyone except the office staff was foreign. I agree with the "farm" bit - very young dentists with thick accents.
They only gave me some painkillers, antibiotic script and a referral to someone who does root canals. I will go to that DMD but only because with a referral I won't have to wait too long, I hope.
I think after reading all of this I will respect my gut instinct and not carry on with them but get myself in with a real dentist.
Someone at my place of work said that Aspen Dental is known for charging insurance companies for more services than they actually provided on the day you are seen - including pre-determination for appointments in the future and such. She suggested I call them and ask for a copy of the bill that was sent to my insurance company. I have not called yet but IF that is true how can they possibly get away with that?
I will be staying away from this place for sure now!

My company is changing dental insurance providers, the new one offers a really cheap DMO plan, but the only area dentist that accepts it is Aspen Dental. Now that I have read these complaints, I will gladly pay more to be able to go to a "real" dentist. Thank you all for sharing your stories, I will stay far away from Aspen.

I have visited the Aspen dental by Dorney Park in PA. I had a cleaning, xrays, 1 wisdom tooth removed & 1 molar removed. I DO NOT work for them or are affiliated with them in any way. I had no problems with the staff or dentists. I would recommend this office.

After 5 minutes they told my friend she definitely needed a root canal. They seemed "shady" so she went and got a second opinion. They said nothing was wrong with her tooth, she just had a bad sinus infection!
