Kerewin.net Appalling Service

I ordered a new bed for my Daughter, four weeks ago. The invoice stated that it would be delivered by 29/10/14, so I booked a day of annual leave to ensure I was available to accept delivery. On the morning of 29/10, I called the ASDA Direct helpline to confirm delivery and was assured that the bed would arrive before 7pm, so I dutifully set about dismantling and disposing of my Daughter's old bed.

The new bed did not arrive!

I called the helpline at 19:45 (it's open from 8am to 8pm), after 15 minutes of being on hold, my call was answered. I politely asked where my order was and was asked to hold whilst being put through to the relevant person. So I waited and waited and waited. By 21:15, (and an hour and a quarter of the awful call centre hold music) I hung up assuming that all staff had gone home disregarding my call.

I called back at 8am on 30/10 to express my frustration at the lack of service and to determine where my order was. I was told that it hadn't actually left their supplier! It would in fact be at least another two weeks before I could expect it! In recompense the customer services representative offered to refund the delivery charge. IT WAS FREE DELIVERY TO START WITH!

After many more phone calls throughout the day and escalation requests by myself I eventually managed to get a refund - although ASDA Direct were extremely reluctant to act quickly on this.

I have NEVER had the misfortune to be on the receiving end of such a poor service (even though I was briefly a British Gas customer). I was lied to by ASDA Direct more than once. I wasted a day of my precious annual leave, and a second day trying to sort out the mess that ASDA Direct created. And now, my Daughter will have no bed to sleep in until I can source an alternative!

I was offered an eVoucher or Gift Card to compensate me for my troubles. However I have declined this offer as I will NEVER use ASDA Direct EVER again - nor am I an ASDA store shopper as I work at a cheaper, better quality competitor.

I cannot recommend ASDA Direct to anyone. Furthermore I would actively recommend steering clear of any service they have to offer. There is clearly a deep rooted communication problem in their infrastructure.

DO NOT MAKE ANY PURCHASES FROM THIS COMPANY!

Kerewin.net Deliveries and returns

I called Asda direct about a 3, 2, seated sofa and footstall as I wanted to purchase them on the website . the website had stated that delivery was free but when I got to the cash out there was a delivery charge. So I phoned customer services, they went on to tell me that this was on only some of the products and this was not one of them, I found that to be misleading . I was still prepared to continue with the sale . I asked if there were in stock I was told yes there definitely in stock I asked about the returns policy and was told if I was un happy with the product I would be entitled to full refund providing I had not caused any damage, I then asked about delivery dates was told 2 weeks . I placed and paid for the goods in full . I had a conformation email . I waited to receive a text / email letting now when the furniture was to be delivered, after waiting 3 weeks I had heard nothing from Asda direct so phoned customer services which is in Africa costing a fortune to be told by one of the rudest customer services operators that its going to be longer than 40 days, I asked how was that as I was told would be no longer than 2 weeks he said I don't know I just get paid to pick up the phone, as I was really angry that I had not received any phone/email informing of any changes from Asda direct regarding changes of delivery dates I asked to speak to a manager and was abruptly told they would get the manager ring me back in at least 4hrs . I waited 24hrs for the call back from a manager did not receive one . I emailed my complaint, still no correspondence from Asda direct. I rang the customer services again the following day same call centre in Africa, to be informed that the goods will not be delivered until December 1st 20014 I placed my order on 6th October 2014 . I was extremely distressed and again asked to speak to a manager as I wanted this matter resolved and was informed "you've got 2 options the first you can have your money back and it will be transferred back into my account in about 2 weeks or wait for the delivery what do you wanna do . I have tried to contact Asda in the uk to try and resolve the issue and I managed to get through to head office in Leeds to be told there is no one I can speak to any where ! and told there is no way of resolving this problem that Asda direct caused other than contact customer services in Africa and request my money back . So in summary Asda direct take you money, lie to you about delivery's just to get a sale and the treat you irrelevantly giving no customer services . surely there must be a solution to these issues are customers not valued by Asda ?

My microwave was still under warranty so a replacement was ordered, It was picked up on the day they arranged. 27-oct- 2014. I was told it will take 3 to 5 working days. I phoneD again after 4 days because I had received no email To find out when the delivery was. I was told by ALISHA that it will be delivered on Monday the 10th of November 2014. I asked what time, she said they deliver from 7am to 7pm. I re-arranged my plans to stay in for collection, Nothing came. I phoned first thing in the morning to be told by Natalie it will take 3 to 5. working days. She did not know why ALISHA made up the delivery date. TOTAL INCOMPETENCE. OR JUST A MADE UP DATE? I will never order from ASDA Direct again. That is my promise.

Kerewin.net Misled on website, kept my money so far

The website clearly shows that a recycle service is available for washing machines. However when you proceed to the checkout and beyond you do not get the option to select the removal of your old washing machine. When I telephoned ASDA Direct I was told that I could negotiate the removal of the washing machine with the delivery person. I judged this was inappropriate as a busy delivery driver is not likely to want to get involved with taking away such a bulky item unless he has specific instructions... It really is not for the customer to proceed with this sort of negotiation on the doorstep.
So I cancelled, now ASDA Direct have still not returned the money for the washing machine, and its delivery to me. At the moment, they are citing banking delays which are out of their hands citing two weeks... This feels like a form of theft to me and the representative at the HSBC I spoke to thought that this was unreasonable too! STAY CLEAR OF ASDA DIRECT!

Hi Christina,

Thanks for getting in touch, your message has been sent to our customer service team who'll get back to you as soon as they can. Please do not respond to this email, this is not a monitored inbox and you will not receive a reply.

On 12/04/2013 I wrote to Asda direct
I am writing to complain about the lack of service I have been given by Asda with regard to a duplicate order .
On 9th February my daughter ordered a wardrobe on Asda direct which was paid for on my credit card. There was a glitch whilst she was ordering and she had an email saying the order had not gone through. She re-ordered and again put in my card details. It transpired the first order had gone through and she recieved 2 wardrobes, my card was billed twice. We phoned Asda to collect one of the wardrobes and to reimburse my card. I was told I would be reimbursed within 5 to 10 working days of collection. It was collected on 26th Feb. To date I have not been reinbursed. I telephoned on Tuesday 9th April to find out why I had not yet recieved payment. I had to ask your operative to listen to me several times whilst I explained the problem as she didn't seem to want to listen. In fact when she called me back she said I hadn't told her things that I had. Eventually she confirmed that I had been charged twice, the wardrobe had been collected and I was due a refund. I was told I would be refunded within 48 hours. This is because I had been waiting since 26th February. I was also told I would have an email confirming this. Today is 12th April and I have not recieved either an email or reinbursement. I called again today at 12 30 BST and explained the situation yet again. I was told that the operative would contact the accounts department and then phone me with confirmation. I had not heard anything by 16:44BST so I called once again. I spoke to someone called Nadine who was very apologetic and did her best to sort this out. However she told me that the previous operative had finished her shift and gone and that the accounts department was closed until Monday 15th April. She spoke to her superior who gave her permission to reinburse my credit card. She took my number and email address and was going to call and email me when it was done. She said the transaction would take 24hours to complete. It is now 18:42 BST and I have not heard from anyone. I realise that 24 hours is not up but I feel very strongly that I have to make a complaint. The standard of service is intolerable and unacceptable. I expect better from Asda. Whatever happens now I am sending a copy of this email to Consumer Complaints, Consumer Rights.

Kerewin.net Poor customer service from 63p per hour staff in South Africa

My partner is heavily pregnant and I'm doing all the running around getting things ready for our new baby.

My partner ordered from Asda Direct Maternity Jeans, the website allows you to pick sizes from dress sizes 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20. My partner selected her size and paid for them together with various other Maternity clothing and also a selection of Baby Bottles, Teets, Warmers, a Steriliser, Brushes etc.

Everything bar the Maternity Jeans turned up correctly as advertised, however the jeans came in a "LONG" leg length, not even an option that could be picked.

I thought it would be simple to contact Asda Direct and swap over the wrongly picked product with the original item ordered.

First the [protected] helpline is based in South Africa, now normally I hate overseas call centres as both parties can not understand each others accent, but as South Africa speak English as their first language I didn't expect there to be a problem on this occasion, however technology got in the way as they route the call through the Internet so the beginning and ending of each sentence both spoken by me and the Asda Direct staff were lost as the it is compressed? transmitted? or what ever the reason behind the poor audio levels. When neither party spoke the line was completely silent, but as soon as they spoke it was digitised and cropped. I assume they had the same problem their end as for the first few minutes of the call every other word they used was sorry (as in pardon) when they could not understand either.

Once I got to understand that the first second and last second of each sentence is lost I could construct sentences with padding both at the beginning and end to allow the meat of the sentence to be heard.

I was told that even though Asda Direct had made the mistake I had to find the time to time to take the goods to a drop of point and make a new order, I explained that I would prefer that they send out the original ordered goods and their delivery company HDNL can collect their mistake at the same time - a service offered as standard by any other online retailer in such cases.

They refused point blank, and that was even confirmed by a so called supervisor. I do not have the time to run around after Asda sorting out problems they create.

I have learnt after the call that the reason they have chosen South Africa over UK based call centres is due to the South Africa minimum wage is only 0.63 pence, so they would rather offer sub standard customer service and save some money. Obviously the 0.63p will not be the final price as they will need to pay for the overseas call routing and I'm sure other aspects to the service but the saving is obviously big enough to decide not to employ British workers.

I phoned Asda UK phone number [protected] and managed to speak to a member of Asda staff based in the UK who were sympathetic to my request and acknowledge she was aware of the South Africa call centre problems.

She managed to transfer the call back to South Africa Customer service without the Internet routing audio problem. She spoke to a manager and requested that they deal with the problem correctly.

Speaking with Sean from Asda Direct in South Africa he claimed he would try to resolve the problem and call me back but admitted as he was some 12 hours by plane distance from the UK there is little he can do apart from send an internal message back to the UK for them to action within four days.

He suggested that we were to keep the "LONG" jeans and he would credit us by £6. I explained that my partnet was pregnant as I didn't think that saving £6 was worth risking my partner falling over the trousers incorrectly delivered as that would not only harm my partner but also my unborn baby.

In the meantime I'm left waiting, never mind plenty of things to be getting done in preparation for our first baby, but getting the frustration of my chest is a relief in the knowledge that one other person may think twice about using Asda Direct just in case they have a problem.

Asda should learn how to appreciate their overseas call centre instead of just thinking how much savings they would have.

Kerewin.net incomplete order & unable to contact customer services

I placed my order on 30th Nov, was told delivery would be the 4th Dec, delivery arrived 7th Dec. Not only was it delivered late but also incomplete. A 3 piece set for my son arrived with only the trousers no t-shirt or shirt. When I tried to contact customer services there was a Que and after 5 minutes I lost the will to live listening to the due to higher than average call volumes message. Would this be because they can not fill a simple order correctly? After 4 more attempts at contacting them (all unsuccessful) I have returned the whole order to store and will not be using this service again.

Simular issues here, today (12DEC11)...

Placed my order at the beginning of the week for a number of Christmas items which stated in stock and paid for next day before 12 Delivery.

Cut a long story short... 3 of the 12 items arrived, the remainder being cancelled without them notifying me and they also took full payment (even for items which were out of stock). It doesn't stop there, they charged me twice for the full order amount. There reason -
When you order online, your card gets the funds reserved and then when the order goes out it is charged again... A common problem for ASDA Customers so i've researched. I will NEVER shop at ASDA again!

Oh! There Customer Service agents do NOT understand ENGLISH - BE WARNED!

Kerewin.net Charge for Time Slot Delivery

Ordered a simple item like an Ironing Board from Asda Direct paid for a specific Time Slot, waited in for the item and no show, I telephoned the helpline which is in South Africa, they have no idea what has happened I have been charged for this item and the delivery, I asked for a refund of the delivery charge and like other consumers was told 5-7 days, it remains to be seen whether I get his or not, no confirmation email has been sent to me to confirm.
The item should have been delivered yesterday, Asda Direct are not available for comment in this Country, it appears there is no comeback whatsoever, something should be done to protect consumers from this type of abuse of time and money. I am sure the item has been placed with couriers and is awaiting delivery but when? and why do Asda Direct encourage you to tick a time slot and pay for it when they have no intention or control of meeting this criteria. Once again a big company hides behind a foriegn Telephone Complaints. I will never shop with Asda online again until they move their Telephone helpline to UK and give some British Jobs to the people that make them rich. I would suggest anybody who needs to shop online first telephones the company helpline to ascertain where they are and if they are not in UK - shop with a company that has a helpline in the coutry of origin, only by doing this will we ensure fair trade and more jobs in our own Country.

I have had the same problem with Asda Direct - paid for a named delivery date but it did not arrive. In the following three weeks I called them 5 times to get it resolved. They reimbursed me for the named delivery date but they still failed to deliver what I had ordered and were never able to give me another date. Supposedly a colleague was investigating this issue and would call me back. They said this on three of the calls I made to them but this "colleague" never called me. The 5th call was to cancel the order which they managed to do quite easily. I will never use Asda Direct again.

I ordered a washing machine on 6th june and paid extra for a delivery and installation slot on 12th june. Item never arrived and on checking online it was still at the delivery ppls depot on 13th june. No one could tell me when to expect delivery and if i wanted to cancel then i would receive payment in 5 working days, meaning that asda have had my money for nearly 2 weeks! It only takes an hr or 2 to transfer money to an account nowadays, so y is it 5 days with asda? Got a good mind to walk in to one of their stores and walk out with the washing machine!

i am absolutely disgusted with Asda direct i ordered a tumble dryer and paid extra for it to be delivered between 7-12 as my mother in law had to be out by 1pm for a very important family gathering. So i thought this would be ideal and paid for the order only to find out today that they didn't turn up, So i contacted there customer services to find out what was going on as i paid extra for the delivery so wanted an explanation to find out that a South African lady answers the phone to me and couldn't tell me anything as they couldn't contact the delivery team which i gather is in the U.K (ridiculous) so i explain i was not happy and expected a refund for the extra i paid for the 7-12. Later to find out when i contacted the South Africans again that not only was my parcel not delivered it wasn't even on the van, I am disgusted with Asda direct and think its unacceptable and unexplainable if you ask me they are a complete shambles and never will I or anybody I Know will buy from this comedy organisation

I purchased a wardrobe online along with the matching chest of draws and I wished I’d never!

The wardrobe arrived with no back, doors with missing holes so I couldn't attach them, and the wrong size screws
I phoned the number provided for missing parts and found them to be very unhelpful. After calling them twice they said they couldn't help me and was referred back to ASDA who then arranged for the missing/faulty parts to be delivered. I've now been waiting in since 7am and nothing has arrived, I am extremely angry with ASDA as they promised to deliver. I have phoned customer services twice today and again, very unhelpful in fact a member of staff put me on hold and then hung up on me!

Really not impressed with ASDA direct for the inconvenience, they have wasted so much of my time and caused me unnecessary stress and won't be buying anything else from them

I ordered a laptop and paid for a specific slot. The item was not delivered and the helpline had no idea. It was like they were reading from a script and had no idea what to say when I challenged them. I have called on several occasions and told the courier had attempted delivery 2 days later and I was not in, they were confused when I highlighted as a full time worker I was out, though this should not have concerned them as this was the reason I picked a specific slot. The snotty and unhelpful call centre employee told me to contact the courier direct. This was not possible as no card had been left. I tried in vain to have it delivered elsewhere, it was like asking them to walk on water! I was informed I had to have it delivered to the registered address and would have to be in between 7 and 7. I returned home today and found a card that had the nerve to state that the courier company had made three attempts (in reality 1) to deliver the item. I had had enough and contacted ASDA head office who helped by transfering me to the Cape Town call centre! Pathetic and unhelpful service throughout, I will never use the service again and will tell anyone who will listen not to. A date has been arranged to re deliver, I am not holding my breath!

Kerewin.net Illegal Trading

Bought fridge as ASDA Direct claimed it to be available for delivery in two days. Order confirmed and date selected confirmed. Was instructed I would not be contacted again, but item would be delivered between 7am - 7pm. Needless to say it wasn't. Contacted ASDA at 7.15 pm to be told that their supplier had not yet delivered to the carrier, that my confirmed date was only an estimate, that I would be contacted when they were ready to deliver 'within the next week'.
When I cancelled the order, they stated that I would not receive any refund until they had received the goods back from the carrier (who they had claimed did not have them). (Contrary to Distance Selling law). When I checked my order status the following morning, it showed the order as 'Fully Shipped'!
It is also not possible to email Asda Direct: all contact has to be by 0844 no.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AS IT CAN DO SERIOUS HARM TO YOUR HEALTH AND WALLET!

Kerewin.net none delivery

Reference number [protected].
Dear Sir or Madame,

I ordered a tumble dryer off your website delivery date 08.04.2010 on a 7am to 7pm delivery time. I had to have a day off work to see this in and as I am on a temporary contract I do not get paid for time off. I called the day before to see If I could have a morning delivery as my company needed me in in the afternoon due to people off on holiday or sick. I was told this was not possible. My daughter called 4 times the next morning and I called twice to see if we could have an ETA on delivery as your depot is only Woodford and 30 minutes away we assumed it would be delivered in the morning. We were both told that the delivery would definitely happen and there was no problem The last time my daughter called and spoke to Lee she was told that the delivery driver was off sick and my tumble would not be delivered that day. I then called to complain and was told a manager would call me back on a 24 hour turn around I said this was not acceptable and wanted a call back within the hour, as you can probably guess this did not happen. I then called again and spoke to a manager called Nathier who offered me my delivery charge back and a £10 voucher which I was not willing to accept due to the fact that I have lost a days pay and was reassured every time I called that everything was fine and my tumble would be delivered. Then I was told it could be delivered the next day which would mean another day off work with no pay. Then my daughter asked if the deliver address could be changed and it could be delivered to her place of work then someone would drop this off to me later I was told this could not be done. I asked your manager for a head office telephone number and an e-mail address and was told for security reasons they could not give me this. I work in customer services and this is rubbish. My daughter then called again and asked for a Saturday delivery and was told someone would call her back if this was possible as you can guess again no call. But on Saturday we had a card through the door saying they had tried to deliver. Your delivery service is very unorganised and your customer service department very unhelpful, I would like a reply promptly with a more resonable offer of compensation .

Yours faithfully

Mrs S Stevens

Kerewin.net Undelivered product

I ordered a sofa/bed on 31 Oct 09. and it has not yet been delivered by 4th Dec 09, I was told the sofa would be delivered within 28 days, however this is definately not happening, I have taken two days off work and both appointments were missed without notice. I have found this most ditressing as I am paying for a flat which I cannot live in as I have no where to sit or sleep (as it is a studio flat). I have called there expensive number numerous with no call backs and no answers other than 'i'll send a message' 'no' or 'they'll be intouch', I did advise this was unacceptable but that did not change there answer. I have bent over backwards to accomodate their unflexible appointments and am constantly let down by the extrem lack of customer service. I find it very hard to understand how on earth they are allowed to treat people this way.

Kerewin.net A complete disfunctional company!

We ordered a 3 seater and corner unit in black leather on 24/10/09.
The website stated delivery is usually within 28 days.
This all arrived on 27/111/09 later than stated and half of the delivery is ours and the other half is not. We have the 3 seater sofa. We have half a corner unit and an armchair brown fabric with lime green flowers on it (this is not ours) these items arrived in clear transparent packaging you can clearly see the two items would never be put together in a million years! Anyway, after 15 phone calls and Asda being completely uncooperative it seems the only way around all this is to send everything back and have a refund and re order (this is not an option) why can they not just send the missing piece! idiots! we have lost £868.95 which they are making money out of it. soooooo mad I can hardly talk thus I am typing this! complete idiots a joke of a company! How they are still trading I will never understand :-(

Placed an order online for in-store collection but after 8 days, hours of expensive phone calls, twice personally going to store I haven't got the delivery of the item.
I bought the item to gift someone and now I have to repurchase same item from some other vendor because ASDA couldn't deliver the item on time.
When i asked for refund then I was told that I need to hand back the item first. If ASDA won't deliver the item to me in first place then how I can hand the item back for refund !

Please avoid ASDA Online shopping. Try some more trustworthy vendor for online shopping.

Having been looking for a laptop/net book for my sons, I looked on the Asda direct web site & found a Compaq mini CQ101SA for £14.97 which I proceeded to order 3, one for each of my sons & one for myself, the items were in stock at the time of placing my order, for which I recieved a conformation email.
Since then I have recived a email saying they were out of stock, And they have refunded my money.
As I told the person I spoke to on their customer service no.The items were in stock at the time of placing the order, I do not want a refund I want the products I ordered.
It was obviously a pricing error not a stock issue.
Do I stand a chance of getting my order ?

We had reason to deal with Asda Direct for two items and it will be our firt and last time and at the time of posting this complaint despite countless telephone calls to their 'South African' call centre and emails to Asda (you have no way of emailing Asda Direct) we still haven't received our goods. Their call centre staff are rude, blatantly lie and you ask to speak to a manager and it is always a promise that one will telephone you back which never happens and you are left in limbo. You attempt to contact Asdas head office in Leeds and they have no authority to do anything other than put you through again to the 'South African' call centre for yet another round of diabolical customer service which gets you absolutely no where. There is no email address for contacting them so shoppers are left with no written proof of broken promises, shambles of a service and the owners Asda Walmart UK will not take action. I URGE YOU NOT TO USE THIS COMPANY and have to agree with everything the other shoppers have commented and we will certainly be moving our weekly shop which is considerable away from ASDA. I am amazed that an international and highly recognised group is allowing so much damage to be done by this disgraceful operation.

Ordered arizona lh sofa bed plus armchair on 30 / 09 / 2017. Delivery 6 - 8 wks. I have been promised delivery of these items on 5 seperate occasions. (Yes. . . Five occasions) . These to be delivered at my holiday home a considerable distance from my home. Only to be told that items due to unforseen problems, (None given) cannot be delivered on the day stated. At considerable loss in numerous expensive calls to an incompetent call centre and not fogetting fuel costs incurred travelling to and from holiday home they at last offered a morsel of remorse and offered £18. 70 refund for any inconvenience. I immediately cancelled order before i incur any other expenses. What have i learned from this experience. . . Never to deal with asda direct and its totally incompetent staff. Angry and awaiting cash to be transferred back to my account.

Purchased 2 leather sofas from Asda direct via their website on 28th August 2017. I got all call from (what I thought were asda_ but just delivery co wanting to make a delivery date. I told them I could only accept an afternoon delivery after 12.30pm as I work every morning. Emm they said ok well call u back. No call back. After 2 days they called me and repeated what they had said earlier. I then repeated that it had to be an afternnon delivery which the gentleman told me he could not do and had to book me in to a slot as that what he is told so booked me in the following monday morning (even though I wouldn't be there)? and that he haed passed my number to the depot who would call. No call back! Called asda gain on Sunday and explained. The manager was helpful admittedly and very apologetic and said that she would cancel the delivery and call me back to re-arrange. Monday agter work I had 3 missed calls from delivery driver saying he had attempted to deliver but I wasn't in. Explained situation to him who then said that he hadn't read the not first thing to say afternoon delivery only and that now he was in Romford and could not deliver. phew! He then called back after 20mins and said he would do me a favour and deliver them now? Lovely man came and delivered my 2 sofas in boxes, put them in the garage and Ran! basically back to his van. I then checked the sofas and 1 is mine the other is not. Apoor lady in Hastings has her sofa sitting in my garage. Called Asda, they said they would get back to me (ha ha ha haha ) oh yes you know whats coming. NO CALL. I have just called them Tuesday evening 28th September and they have said that my sofa has been lost in transit and all they can do is pick up the wrong sofa. Give me back my money for the sofa lost in transit then re-order which could take up to 28 days for delivery! HELP! EXHAUSTED. DO NOT EVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ORDER ANYTHING FROM ASDA!

Ordered online a 32" TV from Asda Direct. The reason for the order was because Asda claimed they could deliver the next day. The order tracking information confirmed collection and arrival at HDML's Gatwick depot. To cut a long story short the TV didn't arrive on on complaining to Asda, I was told that it had been "lost". I therefore asked for a replacement, only to be told that the only thing they could do was to refund me my money, which would take some 3 to 4 days to arrive back in my account and then reorder the TV. That's if it was still in stock.. Asda it seems, unlike most other companies is unable to to raise or replace an order. This is Asda for goodness sake, one of the largest supermarkets in the world (Owned by Wallmart). They are useless.

Neede to return faulty Ipod touch to Asda Direct it was collected efficiently. I enclosed a covering letter requesting a replacement as the model had been superseded and gone up considerably in price
was told by there call centre in Capetown that the letter would have been "filed" and would not be responded to. I asked for an email address to foward the complaint to. There isn't one ! You simply cannot contact them in any other way than by mail. Incredulous I shall write to them but by then the credit will have been raised Asda's customer service is appalling the onus is placed on the poor folk who work in there cape town call centre. It's shameful

I ordered an excercise equipment over two weeks ago, paid for delivery with an aditional amount to name the day. The delivery van arrived two days later with the wrong item! The driver shrugged his shoulders saying 'I am just the delivery man, contact the store'. To cut a long story short, two weeks later after over 20 phone calls that patch me through to 'get this' SOUTH AFRICA, when asda is 10 mins drive from here, I am still waiting for my item. They told me they can't deliver mine until the old item is collected! They eventually came to pick up old item to the wrong adress and had to be redirect to the correct address and now they are telling me in SOUTH AFRICA that Asda can't release my item (even though they have my money) till the collection company delivers the wrong item back to them. They have no idea even though the wrong item was collected over a week ago when Asda will recieve this as SOUTH AFRICA cannot see it on their computers. So as far as SOUTH AFRICA is concerned, it has not been returned to Asda.
I don't know when I am gonna receive my order which was placed over two weeks ago neither does the call centre in SOUTH AFRICA! I an so angry with Asda, what diabolical services!

Kerewin.net Never use dpd uk to deliver

Never use a home delivery from asda cos they use DPD to deliver it. I am a single parent of 4 and i put an order down for my daughters b/d present and 3 days later i tracked it down and the delivery person went to the wrong door. I paid this order with my card and im lucky that the person he delivered it to didnt take it cos they would have my card details. I am very dissapointed in asda cos i never thought this would happen cos i always shop at asda until now. Take this info and listen to it. NEVER USE DPD TO DELIVER.

I paid for a microwave online it took nearly 2 weeks to arrive when it did it was damaged, and as I was out was pushed on to an oap next door who can hardly walk let alone open his door. After finding it was damaged in transit it took 5/6 days for a courier from DPD to pick it up and many telephone calls to Asda Direct were the excuses was that driver could not find the place etc etc etc., and some of the people were very rude. One thing is for sure it was my first time ordering from Asda Direct and it will certainly be my last.

Kerewin.net incomplete product & no refund given

On the 24th April 2009 my partner ordered £280 worth of furniture from asda direct. This furniture consisted of 2 bedside drawers and a set of large bedroom drawers. These were meant to be delivered and built within 2 weeks. 2 weeks later the drawers arrived and the guys started to build them. This however was impossible as all the parts for the drawers had not been packed with the rest of the set. we had to wait a further 2 weeks for the parts to arrive. When they had arrived the guys started to build the drawers again only to find that they still did not have all the parts. so we waited a further week for parts which did not come. we then went to our local asda store to try and resolve this issue and we were told that we would receive a call with a date for the delivery of new drawers and a refund of £40. Today 19th June 2009 we had to go back to the store as we still had not heard anything from asda direct. We were told today that we would have to wait at least another week for the issue to be resolved. I do not feel that waiting another week is a happy resolve as we were told 4 weeks ago that this would be resolved and it is not. To make matters worse, the set of bedside drawers are already falling apart due to shoddy workmanship in assembling the furniture. As we are unemployed £280 is a lot of cash to part with and i am not willing to chase my tail any longer trying to resolve this, instead i intend to complain to all known authorities about asda direct.

Kerewin.net - Swindlers!

I ordered a leather 3 seat sofa from Asda Direct on the 25th April 2009. Asda immediately receiving payment for the product and the delivery charge via my credit card. Delivery is stated as 28 days on the website. Following 2 expensive phone calls to the customer service department I am still awaiting a delivery almost 6 weeks later. The whole shopping...
