Artemis Painting dba Metro Painting LLC review: paint and repair on exterior stucco & wood 1

I had gotten a bid of minor repair of stucco and wood painting from Artemis Painting to pass an FHA inspection to close on the sale of my home in Valrico, FL. The repair man was fully informed and shown each area of the MINOR repairs that we needed completed and we were reassured by him & the business that he has completed several FHA repairs and knew what to do. When he gave us the bid it was for a full house painting. We told him again that we do not want the house painted, just the minor repairs as stated on the FHA list that we had given him and on only the repairs that we had showed him that we wanted completed. He did a horribly embarrassing repair and did not complete the door repair. The repairs did NOT pass the FHA inspection, which the company guaranteed that we would. When I contacted the company for them to back their work and to fix it, they would not. I had to pay 1/2 of the cost upfront and when I told them that I would not finish paying until they repaired it to where FHA would pass it, they threatened on putting a lien on my home so it wouldn't close the sale. I requested the owner call me to get the situation fixed, he NEVER called nor would he go out and inspect. I submitted all the pictures to the company and they basically said so what and would NOT fix it. I felt bullied & scammed into them trying to get me to pay to have the house painted. I also felt taken advantage of because I was trying to sell the home from TN. I also had to pay for someone else to fix Artemis's repairs as well as the additional cost of the FHA inspector to return at a later date.
