Art Van Furniture delivery/product

I am very unhappy with the last encounter I had with Art Vann. I ordered two full size beds. Upon delivery one was delivered correctly and the other was damaged. The delivery for the second bed was rescheduled. The second time out the wrong bed was delivered, so I rescheduled for the third time to have the the correct bed delivered. When they arrived the third time, they still had the incorrect bed so I rescheduled for the correct bed to be delivered for the fourth time. When the delivery truck arrived the fourth time, the best was damaged so I cancelled the this bed completely. This was very frustrating as I just koved into my new home and my daughter did not have a bed to sleep in. This has been the most frustrating experience with Art Vann and I hope that something is done about this.

Art Van Furniture accent chair

My invoice no is [protected].. I had ordered & hv received swivel chair. The chair is not stable.. it needs to be repaired..pls get back on my ph no [protected].this chair is a swivel chair but it is unstable.. I received it 5 days back..pls replace it..I tried calling the complaint no provided on ur site but no one responded.. my ph was put on hold multiple times..

Art Van Furniture patio furniture

I am missing 2 cushions, all chairs have damage. Also missing the bottom piece to make them level. Other chairs wobbly also. Now I have to stay home again Monday for it to be replaced. I want money off or I'll just send it all back. This is the 2nd time in a year that my furniture I ordered from art van is damaged. Would like answer ASAP. Manager at warren store not very helpful was on hold for 15 minutes. He also didn't want to hear it.

Art Van Furniture refund for daybed

We purchased a daybed there and we were told by the sales man that the price was $699, however, he failed to explain that the trundle was not included and that was an additional $225. We spoke to a manager and they claim they would waive the restocking fee. They are giving me the run around about this and nothing has been done. My daughter is sleeping on the floor right now thanks to you guys! Bad sales tactics, bad management, bad service!

Art Van Furniture I feel I was mislead on a refund and a free tv

On March 25 2019 I made a purchase at Art Van. I was told by the sales lady she'd give me 20% off which my purchase was well over 3 grand. So I made the check out for the total she gave me. When the lady behind the counter was ringing it up a manager called and said she could only give me 15% off. My sales rep tells me that I will need to make out a new check for the new price and I told her i wouldn't that I'd go somewhere else. She also told me that they have lots of sales and within 30 days of my purchase they'd refund me the difference. Also gave me information on a free tv I would recieve for my purchase i made. That I would recieve an email within 5 days after the delivery. Well needless to say I've contacted Samira Farah, my sales rep twice once in reguard to the refund then the second time for both the refund and tv . She was suppose check and get back with me, that was 2 weeks ago. Then I contacted artvancustomercare where the tv was to come from they didn't have my email in their system. Told me i'd have to call Art Van to have them send my email to them. So I called them and told them the situation and thet were going to do that immediately That was a week and a half ago. I spoke with Hannah from the rewards program on Monday June 10th for which she sent it over to the department that would search for my voucher. Well needless to say they have never recieved my email. Yesterday at 11:40 I called Art Van and was waiting on the phone for 5 minutes and decided to leave a message. I asked for a manager to return my call in reguards to a situation that I am not happy with. I never recieved a call back. I am requesting my free tv and 5% discount that I was promised.

Art Van Furniture bed ordered

Bought electric bed, mattress, etc a few weeks ago from Naperville, Illinois location on RT 59.

Spent over $3400 for entire order

1. When entire bed was delivered, delivery men broke some of the lights in chandelier in lobby of condo, already reported to Naperville location, was told they will may bill

2. Bed has malfunctioned on three separate location on one side of the bed, had to unplug the base and plug back in to get it to work.

3. Placed service call, was told service men were coming on Saturday June 1st

Called the Friday before to get ETA, was told because live in Naperville, don't have an ETA.

4. Never received a call on Saturday June 1st (day, service was scheduled.
We called mid day, was told by store, they will call and give a few hours "heads up"
NO CALL, NO SHOW ON SATURDAY JUNE 1ST
NO CALL, NO SHOW SUNDAY JUNE 2ND
NO CALL, NO SHOW MONDAY JUNE 3RD

5. I call on Tuesday June 4th, put on hold 20 mins on two separate calls
leave a voice mail on 3rd call

6. NO CALL BACK ON JUNE 5TH
I emailed our original salesman at Naperville, Illinois location (RT 59), asking him for advice, direction, listed what happened, asked who should I contact or if he could forward email, let someone know

June 6th NO EMAIL BACK OR PHONE CALL

June 7th- I place call into Naperville location mid morning, told General Manager will be in later, afternoon. I place complaint with woman taking call at the front

June 7th Someone call back to schedule a service call for Saturday June 15th, was told, ART VAN FURN Never had a service call for repair? After already being told on two separate occasions to wait for service person

JUNE 10TH Still HAVE NOT BEEN CALLED FROM NAPERVILLE, ILLINOIS LOCATION if $120 mattress pad is in, DO NOT WANT IT NOW-WANT TO BE CREDITED THE $120

JUNE 10TH Called corporate office on two occasions, placed on hold 15mins each could not get ahold of anyone, left vm on service line
emailing complaint now.

Art Van Furniture I feel I was mislead on a refund and free tv

On March 25th I purchased a lazyboy livingroom outfit paying cash for a special order. First of all the sales lady had told me 20% off for which it still came to $3500. When the desk was ringing me up a manager called and told her it could only be 15%! So she first told me i would need to make out another check over the 5%. I refused and said i'd take my business elsewhere, i'm not sure what she did but she was able to accept the amount on my check. As all of this was going on she told me if there was a better sale within 30 days they'd give me the difference. They did have 25% off twice within the 30 days. I also received a brochure for a free 50" tv that i'd receive after the delivery of my furniture. Actually I'd receive an email in reguards to it. Well needless to say my furniture was delivered March 11th and i still have not received my refund or email! I've made several phone calls to my sales lady and also to the the artvancustomercare to no prevail. The last i spoke with her she was going to check on both the refund and the tv. I am not very happy with this hole situation and guarantee i will take my business elsewhere. Jan Carr

Art Van Furniture leather couch

I purchased a leather recliner sofa where the leather has separated/tore in multiple areas. I had a service person come to my home to look at the issue. He felt he could fix it or order a replacement cushion. My warranty should have covered repairs but am told they no longer carry the cover to replace the damaged parts. Therefore, I am being given a minimal credit to purchase a new sofa which is going to cost me much more than getting it fixed. Art Van has terrible customer service and really does not appear to want to make the customer happy. I have bought from Art Van for many years and their merchandise has really gone downhill. I would think after paying thousands of dollars a couch would last longer than 5 years. I am very frustrated and by reading other entries, I think I am not alone.

Art Van Furniture bar set w/stool

For starters my bar came with no hardware. Upon receiving the needed parts to finally assemble the set. The hardware was nasty and rusty. Upon completion of the assembly, I noticed the table wobble and seen off balance. Indeed it was...one of the legs is too short and doesn't even touch the floor. What's your company protocol for these such unfortunate events. At this point I'm OVERLY DISSATISFIED and DISAPPOINTED with the results and quality of this purchase. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Art Van Furniture mattress and box spring

Bought a box spring and mattress from Art Van in Feb 2018 $600 took my son with me knowing he was a big boy wanting to make sure we got him something supportive and that would last so we were assured we would have no problems within a years time we noticed the mattress sinking had 3 service guys out first guy tells us not sunk enough wait 2 weeks and call back so did now the 2 one says need to buy a new box spring because the other one was cracked did that so $99 for that so. Ow new guy on Friday says we had a rip in it and now the warranty is voided so in the mean time need a bed for our son to sleep on $1000 for another hoping to get the mattress replace from you guys well nope so done with you all will never buy from you ever again so sad we are now out $1, 700 because of u and the day I got my mattress and box spring delivered I called the store back tell them I had a whole in my box spring and they told me ok they would let them know and got no call back on that oh well all done with you all

Art Van Furniture sectional couch

I purchased a couch with a warranty and am told that the fabric is no longer being manufactured to replace 2 covers. The solution offered is to take a 10% deduction in price and buy a new couch. I do not want to do this. I want my money back. This is the second time in 20 years I have been burned on a warranty with your company. I am highly dissatisfied and do not want to do business with this company. Please return my money. Thank you. Reference # 1757035

Art Van Furniture sectionals living room set

I order a living room sectional from Art Van Outlet I pay cash I was told it will be at my house in the middle of April just enough time for Easter but at the end of April I still haven't received it I called Art Van and I've talked to Kathleen (her store number 29062). I was told that my sectional would not be in until the middle of May. I asked why did nobody call to let me know that I wasn't receiving my sectional set? I have family over for Easter I have to cancel because there was no place to sit in my house. At least I should be conversated for my patient for the time that I haven't received my furniture. This is absolutely ridiculous nobody should have to wait this long full furniture set. I pray that it be the one I picked. Art Van should do better then this.

Art Van Furniture loft style bed

I purchased a loft style bed 3 weeks ago.
I was told I would have my order delivered within a week.
I received my order and they realized that not all the parts were In the package so I had to wait another week and a half to get the rest of the parts.
Well they delivered the rest of the parts and when I checked the next day, the boards on the frame were not screwed on.
I also realized the wheels were missing.,
So I called the customer service and she placed an order which will take another few weeks for them to arrive.
Lastly, the sales person recommended bunkie boards which I purchased but he failed to mention that they will not be available until beginning of May.
So I purchased a loft style bed hoping to have it in use within a week of purchase. It will be over a month before my son can utilize the bed. This was not a positive experience for us and we have been loyal customers since 2014

Art Van Furniture sofa

I recently bought sofa and love seat from Art van with their gold warranty but soon sofa part is broken so I called them to get it repaired. So repair guy came and check less than 5 minutes
And he said he is gonna order the parts to repair but they discontinued this exact sofa set so they told me to give a store credit back.
But I have to pay delivery fee and bring my old sofa back with my own expenses and also pay another warranty for new sofa set if I want to cover it.
So I didn't want to reselect other sofa. I asked the warranty department to just give my money back since I can't use the warranty because it's discontinued item and they told me that since the repair guy came to check the sofa they have to charge it and not going to give me money back.
The guy didn't do anything and nothing is been fixed.
I don't want to pay more warranty and more delivery money and more money for sofa.
I'm ok to keep my broken sofa it's not a big deal. But since they can do absolutely nothing about the sofa that I have, even though I purchased the gold warranty, I just want to get my useless warranty money back that I paid.
I'm not asking for much.
Sales person told me it covers everything. But it's absolutely lying and it covers literally nothing.

Art Van Furniture the stinkin' ads - its been months

I am ready to scream in pain from these ads... They air at least five times or more per hour on local tv between 4-8 pm and its ridiculous - loathsome even. Often the ad comes on again as soon as its over. It is on my last nerve and I am tempted to go back to cable tv - despite the cost - because of this ad.
Just say no. It will definitely affect my pocketbook as I will not shop & spend with art van... We've suffered thru months of this nonsense and its over. Move on. We all know there are clearances centers, outlet centers and the regular stores - and everything is always on sale anyway. Get over it, art van. Kill the screechy intrusive commercial already. Five times an hour is annoying your customer base and is overkill. Art Van Furniture management and product

I purchased a mattress about 18 month ago. The one side is completely caved in. I had a service tech out and he said not covered. When I called the service center they state "it is from sitting on the edge of the bed" serously how else do you get in and out of the bed. I have never heard of something so ridiculous. Jennifer was awful and very disrespectful. Told me that beds were not meant to be sat on. All I could do was laugh. I spent $2000 on a mattress and now it is defect and they are telling me it is because we sat on the edge of our bed. Unbelievable. I will never buy or shop at art van again. And I will be posting on every social media sight as well. You guys are a disgrace and your management staff is awful

Art Van Furniture italian leather couch, loveseat

On the third set Italian leather couch/luv seat.
Once again the recliners pop and material had rub marks when delivered by the movers who dragged lots of mud throughout home, the couch even had mud on it, so not acceptable, very disturbing.
Its only been 2 weeks and once again the recliners are poping and malfunctioning.
This was our last straw, we will be returning for full refund, 3 sets in 4 weeks and malfunctioning poor quality.

Art Van Furniture delivery

On Thursday November 29, 2018 I had a delivery scheduled for a table and chair set recently purchased on Friday the 23rd from your Novi location. The time frame was confirmed for 12pm to 3pm. Upon the date of delivery at 2:46 pm I received a call at which I missed, however, returned the call right away at 2:47pm. The delivery person stated that he would be arriving in 5 minutes upon which I agreed. He then called back at 2:54pm and when I answered the phone, he hung up. I called him right back and the phone rang and then went to voicemail at which I did not leave a message. He then called me at 3:03pm and stated that he would arrive in 10 minutes, and also stated that he "left his drill at his last job". I told Him I had to leave at 3:30 and I knew that he could not deliver and assemble a table and chairs in 15 minutes. I then asked Him if would be willing to deliver it this evening after 4:30, he said that he could not, he wouldn't be in the area. I then expressed to Him that this was Art Van's problem and I've been waiting for my delivery. He said it was nothing He could do and he would be there in 10 minutes. I told him that he would not and I would be calling the store and then hung up. I then called and spoke with the store manager, explained what occurred and was told I would receive a call back in a few minutes. I'm still waiting to hear back from someone. This is a complete outrage and I am highly disappointed with Art Van's level of customer service. The complete experience includes the sale and the delivery, and cannot just be inclusive to the sale. Every employee is a representation of the company. I was given a day and time frame, at which I made provision to abide by in expectation of receiving my merchandise. Then, made to feel as though it was my problem that I could not wait around after the scheduled time to receive my items! Compensation and just plain consideration are an absolute must in this regard. This is not only an inconvenience, but my level of trust for a long standing company that we have used over the years for previous furniture items is now tainted. I would appreciate some resolve in this matter.

Art Van Furniture sofa recliner set

I purchased a sofa recliner set during one of your tent sales in store this 2018. I purchased it full price; however, it was a floor model meaning as is. When I brought it home, I sat in it and felt the need to call customer service of where I purchased it from; that is, the Art Van Furniture Store located in Southgate, Michigan. The sales manager did nothing to resolve my complaint so I am now writing to you. I did not know when I purchased the sofa set that there was something wrong with it but my suspensions grew when I went to pick up the set from the back room merchandise packers who stated, "...she brought the brown sofa set" who also had suspicions. I have yet to sit comfortably on this sofa set since I purchased it because of it being dirty. I tried cleaning it with my own home cleaner and still there is something wrong with it. I ask the Southgate sales manager for a return but he insisted there was nothing he could do as it was a final sale item. I am so not satisfied with Art Van as a VIP customer. I am so not satisfied with the brush off by the sales manager and the sales person who talked me into buying this item as if it was a great deal. I am seeking to resolve this issue with you and ask for you to contact me at your earliest convenience.

Art Van Furniture elite rewards

After purchasing a king mattress, living room set and family room set we were supposed to receive $250 gift card. This was October 11, and we haven't received it. I've left messages and haven't received any calls back. I have sent emails and still nothing. This is horrible customer service! We still have other rooms to furnish and while I do like the furniture, we will spend our money somewhere else. The aggravation isn't worth it! I would like my original gift card as well as another gift card for the inconvenience!
