Arnel Management Company / unlawful business practice
All I read complaints about “Arnel Management Company and Heritage Point Apartment” are true. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. I lived in Heritage Point for 8 years. I renewed lease yearly. Thing happened beyond my expectation that I had to quit lease early this year. I called up Arnel before I left my apartment. They told me two ways to terminate lease early. One is find the replacement by myself. The other is let Heritage Point to find the replacement for me. I decided to let them find the replacement for me due to circumstances that my apartment was pretty old and they needed to remodel it. I gave them 30-day notice. On-site manager was afraid to take it. She told me she wasn’t authorized to do so. I was fooled around on that day. I also gave them Final Notice with my apartment keys and one extra month rent to them. About 3 weeks later, I received a bill that I had to pay them for more than 11, 500 dollars. They took all my security deposit including “wears and tears” on cabinets, vanity top and tub and shower, water bill which I paid myself separately and a pro-rate day charge which I paid before I moved in, and I returned my keys one day later (This is such a lie. ) They also asked me to pay the rest of months without finding the replacement. They listed a bunch of items to keep all my security deposit.
The lease term is vague. They never clarified to tenants on legal jargon of a lease. They never gave you a written reply. They gave you false promises and then denied the fact. The staffs keep changing quickly.
ANYONE WHO WAS CHEATED, MISPRACTICED, MISTREATED, THREATENED AND SO ON BY ARNEL MANAGEMENT COMPANY. PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR COMPLAINT TO :
