Ariston Thermo Group not sending a technician

Since a week my boiler is turning off all the time in the middle of having a shower. This boiler is used by 6 people in a place that I rent out. In Belgium Ariston can only be contacted between 8 AM and 4.30 PM. Incredible but true, I find it incredible that this still happens in these times where people all have to go to work.
The day before yesterday I called with the question to send someone as soon as possible. Strangely enough they couldn't plan it, they said someone would call me during the day. When it still didn't happen in the afternoon I tried calling myself but I was on the waiting line or a long moment. I have a busy job so I had to hang up. So last night I sent an email asking again to contact me as soon as possible. So I tried calling them again today and again I was on hold for ages so I had to hang up.
I still didn't hear from them. I find it unacceptable and wonder when they will finally contact me and then send someone. Obviously my tenants are complaining and expecting a compensation from me. So obviously I will demand this from Ariston just like a quick intervention, this means if I can reach them finally.

Ariston Thermo Group ariston front loader - aqxxf 129 1200 a+ class

Last week, I had a load of bath towels on and during the fast spin cycle (towards the end of the cycle) I heard a loud bang. We tried putting on a load this weekend and there is a knocking sound whenever the barrel inside spins and at the end of the cycle the clothes were covered in white stuff with some white stringy type material found in the washing machine. We have since ceased using the machine.

We have had the machine for approximately 6 years, I called Ariston customer service and spoke to a service technician whom told me that there is not much they can do apart from provide me with a referral (Prestige Appliance Repair Centre). I have since spoken to them and they advised that it sounds like the barrings are shot and that the approximate cost of this type of repair is $1, 000.

When originally purchasing this machine, we were told that this is a better quality machine and decided to spend the extra money given we believed that a better quality machine would last longer than a cheaper one. Now here we are approx 6 years later and i'm being told that it is better to get rid of the machine and buy a new one given the cost to repair the machine is not worth it.

This is not the position i'd thought i'd be in when buying a machine of this quality and am extremely disappointed - not with the machine as it has been brilliant but with the fact that i am now having to choose between either fixing or replacing the machine, a cost which is significant for me at this time .

I understand that it is likely that my machine is no longer under warranty but I don't accept the fact that such a machine only has approximately 6 years of use or alternatively an exorbitant repair cost. It is not fair.

Please call me urgently to discuss a solution (my desired solution would be for you to send out a technician to repair my machine at your cost) as we are unable to wash anything at the moment, which is a daily occurrence having two young children.

Ariston Thermo Group cooker ariston 5 burner

Dear customer Care,

I am living in Cairo, Egypt, I have an Ariston cooker 5 burner with Oven, I bought it 11 years ago, it worked fine for about 5-6 years then problems started to happen, as follows:
* burner's flame has different strength and color in same burner
* Timer problem
* Ignition problem
* Oven door's springs
* Electrical part's inside oven
* lamp
* Rubber on oven door
* heat comes out of oven and no one can stand inside the kitchen while oven is on
I called the dealer in Egypt (B-Tech) and they refused to maintain it as it is an old model and they are serving models that they sold only, I called the old dealer who helped us but provided all spare parts local made not the original which cause us to call every 6 months requesting service, and ends up to have a local cooker not an Italian brand, although we shouldn't accept this service but we didn't have any option until the outside glass blow up in the kitchen and the small pieces spread outside the kitchen, thanks god my kids were away.

I called the old dealer (GMC) and asked the original part no matter how much it costs, they kept me waiting for 6 months before they install new glass for the oven, 6 month later it blowed up again and injured my wife, thanks god it was not series.

This time I decided to remove this cooker and send a complaint to Ariston Italy, I have some questions:
* If the local dealer can't maintain the products that they sale (even the devices sold by the old dealer), why they continue to be a dealer.
* how come Ariston, the great name allow their dealer to sale non original parts
* I asked an expert in maintenance of cookers outside the dealers about the glass blowing for 2 times, he advised that this is bad maintenance because Ariston equipment is high quality and safe which is not what we faced!

I don't trust this device any more and I can, t put it online again because simply I am protecting my family!

I am requesting a replacement for this cooker to compensate the bad service I had from Ariston Egypt.

Ariston Thermo Group dishwasher model lz 705 ix

Back in 2009, I have bought several appliances from Ariston Dealer in Jordan, namely; 3 Hobs different sizes, an Oven, & a dishwasher Model LZ 705 IX through JWICO (Jordan Wood Industries Co.). I believe in the brand and as I was furnishing my new kitchens, we decided to go for Ariston appliances. Since then, we have not used the dishwasher at all except for a couple of times. Two months back and as my wife was using it, the dishwasher stopped suddenly and a yellow icon on its dashboard appeared. We called Ariston maintenance through your local dealer (Abu Taweeleh) and thankfully they made a visit, assessed the damage (electric dashboard), came back with a new dashboard and installed it. Once they turned the dishwasher on, an electric shortage in the power supply of the Washer happened. They decided to take the whole dishwasher to their headquarters for repair. Unfortunately, a whole month passed by without any notice unless we call them. Just today, I had a serious phone call with them and they informed me that the power supply is not available and needs another month ! (All phone calls with the dealer are recorded). This is not acceptable at all even if we do not use the dishwasher that often. Unfortunately, this unpleasant experience with Ariston dealer will make us choose another brand with better service next time.

Ariston Thermo Group inattentive complaint on ariston washing machine's mechanical issues.

Please be informed that, I have registered a technical complaint on my ARISTON washing machine (Model# AR6F 105 (EX) ) on 06.01.2018 at 10.55 AM through the Local Dealer customer service # [protected] in Dubai and I was told that it would be attended within 48 hours.

On 08.01.2018 at 10.10 AM I have contacted the the same department on the above number about my complaint and they confirmed me that they would send the technician on 09.01.2018.

When I contacted the customer service this morning (09.01.2018) to check the status of my complaint, your customer service staff was surprised on why this much delay to attend my complaint even after 72 hours and confirmed that they would send the technician tomorrow.

I certify that, the local dealer's after sale service is very poor and irresponsible.

Ariston Thermo Group gas cooker, freezer

Hi, my name is Fady Halim
I'm writing this complaint coz I trust in your trademark and in your company and you will help me to get my rights.
First, I have bought three devices from the products you produce from your branch in Egypt, two deep freezer and built in gas cooker.
Now, the three are broken and have technical problems. The gas cooker wasn't working well so I called the customer service center here in Egypt which send me a technician after ten days from my call, the technician who lake any previous experience destroy the device completely and now the service center here told me the device need two thousand pound to fix what their technician broke. Second, I have the same process as above with my two deep freezer, one day I have electric false power, so my devices shut down and not working correctly after it, so as normal with any company I have products from it, I called the customer service center.
This time they send me the technician after one month who told me that device need spare parts which I approved to buy and indeed we bought and now the two devices is still broken.
Now, I deliver my complaints to you and I hope quick response to it.Ami sure you won't leave your agent or distributor in Egypt to ruin your company reputation that you work hard to build with your customer.
Ami not the only one depending on the bloc's and groups I participate in it .

Ariston Thermo Group ariston dryer

I had a big problem with btech Egypt technical support and customer service.
I have been contacting them since 18/6/2017 to fix my dryer and till now nothing happened. They gave me false dates and they dont come, they r lying all the time saying things that didnt happen.I have a record of msgs from them for technical support visits they dont come or even apologize. Their customer care is a great mess and frustrating, i cant reach a solution with them to my problem till now.
it's a shame for a big name like Ariston such a way treating customers.
Please advice.

Ariston Thermo Group Dishwasher

I bought from egypt b.tech dish washer on 23/3/ 2016 and i don't use it only few times fot that some fats on the power bottom cause i don't use it alot i called b.tech egypt and after that they send one to me he tries to fix it by the knife and wipes the power cause of that damaged of course and they replace it by old and used one pleas i want one new i buy it new please help me they are theifes

شتريت في 23/3/2016 غسالة اطباق و لم استخدمها و نظرا لوجودها في المطبخ اتراكم علي زرار ال power بعض الدهون
و كلمت الصيانه فجاء عامل الصيانه و حاول تنضيفه بسكينه وورق مناديل مما ادي الي تلف الزرار و طلبت بتغييره
فجاء عامل الصيانه بقطعه اماميه كامله و لكنها قديمه و مستعمله ومجرحه و عندما طالبت من الشركه تغييره لم يردوا علي و لم يوافقوا مع ان غسالتي جديده و هم المسئولين عن تلفها و مع ذلك لم يستبدلوا القطعه الخاصه بي بواحده اخري جديده بدل التي قاموا باتلافها فالرجاء حل الموضوع

4 years old take a look at pictures serviced on the 16/2/2010
and was told everything was fine now, no hot water or heating
should of lasted a lot longer for the money it cost
disgusted with ariston.

Ariston Thermo Group Ariston Iran agent customer service

I bought a ariston boiler model clas 28FF and I have too many problem with this boiler. Hot water output is too low in cold weather and too much noisy.
From one week ago I requested to come and solve my problem, but no body call to resolve problem.

I have contact with Ariston headquarter in Italy and UAE. but no care about this proble.

This brand not good and dont put yours money in recycle bin. Choose other major brand

Hi, I live in Birjand, south of Khorasan. I bought an Ariston electric oven from Mashhad 9 months ago. The display of this F04 shows that I have contacted several times in Birjand, The oven does not work, .26/5000
Do not give me the answer The warranty card has taken. What should I do?

I am sorry to hear you had wasted your money. Unfortunately, in Iran all these foreign companies are milking it and there are no consumer protection.
I am afraid we have no choice but buy all these rubbish with no protection.

I living in Tehran. I have same history. Ariston appliances are too expensive (%40 more than other major brand) and quality is less than other brand.

Ariston Thermo Group Iran Ariston Water Heater

I bought a ariston weater heater and after two days make big problem and after I ask this company to replace with new one, the Iran Ariston agent told me only we can repair it and this company change d two parts with not same quality. Now the fan sound is to louad and we cannot sleep at the night.
The water heating not is the too good and hot water not is hot and just is warm. this company no good and I not suggest to use Ariston water heater.

Ariston Thermo Group APALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE

We bought a new Ariston fridge (model no.MT-4511) in 2006 from one of the most reputable outlets in Dubai (Jacky's). We were informed that all refrigerators carry a 5 year warranty on the compressor.

After 2 years, the fridge stopped working because the compressor was blown.

We called the authorised Ariston agents in Dubai (co. name ETA) - spoke to the service manager who was extremely brash and rude and he curtly informed us that Ariston carries only a one year warranty on the fridge and compressor and that there is nothing they can do about it.

We contacted the Customer Care team (Indesit) in UK in an attempt to escalate this issue to the head office. They confirmed that Ariston compressors do carry a 5 yr warranty but could do nothing about issues outside the UK. Is the company not interested in what their authorised agents in another part of the world is doing for the reputation of their brand and products ?

Fed up, we went looking for a new fridge and in 3 big outlets in Dubai, when we inquired about Ariston, they informed us that they do not keep Ariston products any more. Why am I not surprised ? (not that I intend to buy another Ariston ever).

i had the same prob with ariston fridge, after two month purchasing, the comprosser wasnt work and they had to change the new one, after two month the problem appear again and this time we had to chase them and they promise to change for new fridge but the kept cheating us and its been 2 month we havent received..if u are looking for a fridge, just stay away from this brand as their service are really bad and it is just a waste of money..never ending story!

I called Ariston service agent today and they said the same thing. I guess they have better service in Europe. No more ariston brand for me... thats for sure

I have the exact same problem with our built in Ariston refrigerator. The refigerator is not cooling any more probably a blown compressor and their official service agent in UAE are useless.

Ariston Thermo Group Irresponsible company

We bought an Ariston washing machine, among many other home products, at the Home Living Fair organised by CIMB Bank at the Putra
World Trade Centre in August 2009. We were told the fair was supported by the principal (in this case Obicorp / Signature Kitchen / Cabinet Industry), as such, to secure an offer price, we have to pay up with CIMB Credit Cards on the spot, even though we did not want immediate delivery.
When we asked for the Ariston product to be delivered to us in October, we were sent a unit of washing machine which was obviously a display unit- no original packaging, discoloured exterior including the control knobs and stickers/product labels on the machine which was tattered and old. We asked the dealer who sent the machine (Ga Hing Trading - Jln Klang Lama, KL) to give us a new unit- to our surprise, we were told this model was a discontinued model and that unit was the last unit. We then reminded the lady in charge - Darry Wong, that she promised the price we paid for was for a new unit, not a display unit- furthermore, nowhere in the invoice/order was the word "display unit" ever mentioned. She was very rude and claimed that the unit was not a display unit- she even cursed herself that she would be killed by a car if she ever walked across the street. Upon insistence, she reluctantly took back the unit.
We then informed Obicorp / Signature Kitchen regarding this matter.
The salesman Hilman and Ah Wai seemed to be willing to help by sourcing a new machine for us. However, we waited and waited for a few days and there was not any news from them. We then called up the Sales Manager, Mr Kent Chan, who told us flatly that the company is not responsible for any products sold by their dealers - HOW IRRESPONSIBLE CAN A COMPANY BE?
We then informed him that we were told the deals offered by dealers at the Home Living Fair was supposed to be fully supported/ backed up by the principal country - to this he still refused to help and remained arrogant.
The point is- besides the CIMB Bank, Obicorp / Signature Kitchen / Ariston are very irresponsible and totally not trustworthy. How can anyone have the confidence to buy any products from them in the future- be it Arston products or Signature Kitchen kitchen package in the future?

Ariston Thermo Group Hot water tank

My house was built in 2004. I bought it in 2007, delighted that everything was brand new and had at least 10 years before anything would need replacing. Last autumn (October), I happened to look at my hot water tank, it is shut away in a cupboard and had given no cause for us to look at it. There were streaks of rust down the side and I could see a drop of water alongside one of the pipes. I called the local plumber immediately. The plumber said that a 'diode' needed replacing. That I should be sure to keep an eye on the tank in case of trouble. I watched carefully and eventually the plumber came, after Christmas, with a new part which had been hard to get, and they set about replacing it. The old diode was so badly corroded into the tank that it was impossible to get out, the plumber said it would have to be a new tank. One new tank and £1100 lighter in the bank, it was duly replaced. My replacement tank had to be another Ariston, because it would have been a major job moving pipes to fit another kind.

My complaint is that nowhere on the old hot water tank does it say that the tank needs servicing annually, and I had no instruction manual to say so. The hot water tank in my last house needed replacing after 30 years because of hard water, I have never heard of a hot water tank needing servicing. The tank has written over the box that corroded so badly 'Pro Tech anti-corrosion system' conveniently hiding the corrosion and my plumber said that the tank should have lasted at least 10 years. I wrote several times to Ariston, I said I had kept the tank for their engineers to inspect. They eventually sent a bog standard letter not addressing my grievance, I then sent photos and they replied by saying the tank should have been left in place for them to examine, ( that would have been a good winter with no hot water) they said there was nothing they could do and they enclosed an instruction print out for the hot water tank that had been replaced. I was astounded. I am a pensioner, I can ill afford the £1100 I have had to spend to replace the hot water tank that should have lasted at least 10 years, when in truth it barely lasted four and a half years. The least they could have done was to offer some sort of compensation. You do not expect to move into a brand new house with brand new equipment and to have to start replacing everything. Whatever you do don't buy Ariston!

I have a ariston fridge with we the bootom portion except the freezing area the cooling is very less or we can say no cooling atall so if i want to repair it how is it possible in dubai who is the dealers who are attending the complaints

I have the same problem, the tag has corroded off the electrode and you can't fix it, no leaks yet, where can you get the electrodes?

Ariston Thermo Group Bad product worse service

Ariston Dishwsher Model LI 670 X NA- stopped working after 1 month. Lights flashing and only running one cycle. Called the number in the manual - disconnected- looked on web site found a number- No response - must leave name and number and they will call you back- they don't. I tried to email - no luck. I tried to fax and get a contact- No help there. After 2 weeks I finally received a fax that the part was ordered- but as of yet no one to install. Do not buy this junk! Terrible service believe it may be worse than dealing with Sears.

Ariston Thermo Group Awful experience

We bought the Ariston LV62 on the advice of the salesperson who placed this brand "above Westinghouse but not quite Miele". We liked the modern design and at $899 Australian, it was certainly good value, or so we thought. Installation was relatively easy but once we'd completely filled it with dishes and went to use it, it didn't work. Flashing lights everywhere prompted me to call the technical support line who informed me it had a fault with the drainage pump and they would send someone out. I immediately called Domayne where I bought it from and they were very quick to offer either a replacement of the same model or something completely different. We'll be doing the latter and handing over the extra cash for the Miele. Not impressed to say the least.
