The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

My family had filter demonstration from Aqua Smart on April 3rd, 2010. First, instead of promised one hour it lasted 3 hours. When they were convinsing to buy a filtering system from them we said that we would need time to think about it. They were fine with that but asked to leave a deposit of $200 to lock the price and to ensure that we will have a gift (cooking set). We asked if we don’t buy will we receive deposit back and the answer was yes. There were 4 of us in the room: me, my wife, a person who made demonstration (Enis) and his trainee. We signed the contract without reading it thorougly (remember they took 3 hours of our time!). When a few days later Enis called us to find out decision we said we would not buy it and asked deposit back. Enis refused to issue it because the contract was signed as final and not refundable.

We felt that we were deceived and we demanded our deposit back. Numerous calls to the company and to its managers failed to resolve the situation. Their trainee admitted that his understanding about deposit was the same as ours (that it was refundable), he tried to pursuade them to return it, but it din’t work out as well.

Resolved

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

We had the same situation and I was pregnant and feel like they took advantage of us and also did not understand that I had put my child to be. They had a scam going that they will talk to the owners when they are the owners. Plus we were prmoised nio interst which we got but if I was late 1 day on the payment the bookkeeper, his wife charged a $50.00 late fee so I had over $400.00 in late fee's until he removed it. Also my husband worked for him which he also gav him the runaround and took him 3 months to get paid because Enis said he was not sure what we wanted to do with the money. In the end we find that we were overcharged by over $1000.00. Be aware and call another dealer, Enis is rude and slick!
