Aquamaid water softener system not working

I bought a softener system about 2 years ago. It worked for a week. I called the Aquamaid office in Lakeland repeatedly. I was told each time that someone would come out to my home in Bradenton and fix it. Well the problem still exist. Also the salesman that sold me the softener unit was released due to him being labled a crook. We know now that the economy cannot recover with rip off and crooked companies like Aquamaid in business. Maybe they should be outsourced and shipped out.
