Applebee's whole meal

We were seated and waited 15 minutes before we were even greeted let alone able to order drinks, waited 10 minutes for our drinks and were basically ignored and not asked how anything was. Ended up just paying on the presto because check was never brought in a timely manner. Extremely disappointed with our experience and will not be returning to this location.

Applebee's product and service

I had placed a order for pick up at 12am. When I called it in the woman had gone over my order. I got a plain burger and husband got the steak he got the 8oz and if only I could post a picture it was ridiculous. I've never had such an bad experience. We come in with the family regularly and thought we'd carry out and it was horrible. The staff was very nice, just wish our order wasn't so bad. We are always very satisfied and sadly not this time. I will never call in an order.

Applebee's service

After driving to our local Applebee's in clermont Florida we went in and the restaurant was mainly empty. We went to the hostesses stand and waited to be seated. After waiting for about 10 mins and no one came or acknowledged us there we left and went to ruby Tuesday. This was our first time visiting the new restaurant Applebee's and will more than likely be the last time as no one should have to wait 10 mins to be seated

Applebee's french onion soup and 6 oz steak with two sides

At the Applebee's located on Veterans Memorial Highway Bohemia NY the managers name was Been on February 2, 2018 around 10:15 to 12:30 on a Friday night we had a party of 12 but the wait was 30 minutes which they said a hour more our party went down to 7 people which was sat at a 6 person table. All food was cold I order french onion soup I said hot when I ordered it then came to the table ice cold it was sent back but our waiter rolled his eyes the soup came back Luke warm,. So o had a 6oz steak well done coming with mashed potatoes and green beans the steak came bake medium rare be then it was sent back where my sides got cold and my steak was horrible. I called the manager over and he did nothing. I eat here 2-3 times a week and I never had service like this before.

Applebee's applebees in southgate michigan on eureka road.. (bad service)

It was on Thursday on February the 1st around 9pm.. Me and my family came inside and the greeter said welcome and asked if we want a booth and we said yes, she was very nice and sat my husband and my two little girls and I at are booth. The waitress walked by me at least 3 times before I stopped her and asked if she was serving me and she said she wasnt, someone else is suppose too.But she was serving everyone else down my aisle didnt understand that at all.I stopped her after she was done serving her other customers, and asked if she found anyone and by the way my family and I were already there for about 15.. I asked her if i could please get some water and some pop for my husband and my 2 children and I and she said yeah sure with a bad attitude. Then waited an addition 15 minutes until I stopped her again after she gave other people there drinks amd food...At that point i saw a lady at the register and ask if she was a manager and she said yes and please give me a moment and she'd be right with me. I went back to my booth with my family and sat there while she was still on the register and then few minutes later talking to other waitresses laughing so I walked right back up to her and I said you know I've been waiting over here total here between 35 - 40 minutes and I will never come here again your waitresses are very rude and you are very rude! I then walked back up to my booth and told my family to get their coats on and we are leaving and she didn't even say anything to stop me or I didn't even hear her say anything to the waitresses when I was helping my daughters get their coats on! I will never come back to this Applebee's again and this is located in southgate on Eureka road...I love Applebee's and still will go there to eat but just not this location! Thank you for your time to whom this goes too!

One more thing that just happened. My children really wanted to eat here. They started crying when I told them that we were leaving. I started slapping them and she threatened to call the police on me. I found out later she took down my license plate and contacted CPS who will be interviewing me and my children on Monday about this incident.

Applebee's outraged loyal customer/changes

Hello,

I wasn't sure who to complain to but i hope this reaches someones ear. I have been a loyal customer of applebees for years and i never really choose anything other than steak or my repeated dish of three cheese chicken penne now i come to applebees to hear that applebees has now changed its pasta from penne to cavatappi. I have never once in my life liked this noodle! all the pastas on your menus all over Applebees has changed i politely asked the waiteress if this pasta can be changed and they had a fit stating they no longer carried penne. I am downright outraged that i now cannot have my penne because applebees decided to save themselves a few cents for some damn noodles! This was my second attempt as i never thought applebees would have a fit over changing a noodle let alone stop serving bread. I am sending this to let you guys know if you dont stop messing with applebees menu you WILL LOSE A LOT OF LOYAL customers who've been buying from your restaurant for years. You already lost one loyal customer how many mkre will you keep pushing out the door? im taking my business to olive garden as now i can no longer order my favorite dish from your restaurant! I expected better from this restaurant now it has just downright become an embrassment and food has become incredibly disappointing. I will not be returning to any applebees restaurant until the menus are resolved.
It doesnt even taste the same anymore. Wait until loyal customers start noticing the changes and their favorites and start walking out. My all time favorite restaurant and dish entirely ruined thanks a lot to whoever thought changing the menu wasnt a big deal. The customer is always right think about it before you keep changing our menus! #GoodbyeApplebees

Applebee's no riblets

Drove 35 miles, to 5316 Central Avenue Pike, Knoxville, TN for the advertised all u can eat Riblets..Got all the way to the door to be greeted by a note on the door stating the were out due to high demand turned and left. It's not my first disappointment there, think I'm done..lol poor management skills or planning I'd say..what did they expect..Suspecting a ploy just to get people in the store?.. anyway I submitted a complaint on their website .. No response in over 2 weeks except for the automated one thanking me ..my case # is 2121227 in case anyone wants to check.

I am writing to express my extreme displeasure concerning my recent visit to Applebee’s in Douglasville, Georgia. On December 30, 2017 my family, a party of 25, celebrated my great nephew’s second birthday. The restaurant was notified days in advance as well as the day of the celebration concerning the large party in order to make sure that the restaurant was ready and prepared in advance. The restaurant was still not prepared and the majority of our party, with a few slow pokes, was on time. Even though we waited over an hour to be seated everyone was in a high celebratory mood. People drove hours to be at Applebee’s at that particular time for one specific purpose.

Once we sat down we were greeted from a vibrant hostess. Although her demeanor was bubbly we were shocked by how she represented the Applebee’s franchise. She wore a necklace with big bold letters NASTY. That was extremely distasteful, but not enough to make me take the time to write this letter.

The issues began after the orders were taken. It took a long while to get the appetizers. Since we were all socializing and wishing the birthday boy happy birthday we were not yet annoyed, irritated, or dissatisfied. We were taking that time enjoying one another and the reason for the gathering.

The wait between the appetizers and the main course was ridiculous. It took about an hour and a half after the appetizers before we got the main course brought out to us. Prior to this, about 45 minutes after the appetizers, I personally went to the waitress and asked what the holdup was because everyone was getting upset at this time. She informed me that the food would be out within the next five to ten minutes. I let everyone know to only become a speaker of non-truth. About 20 minutes later I went to speak to her again. At that time she informed me that it was taking so long because of the number of people in our party and that they were trying to bring everyone’s food out at the same time. A red light immediately went up because it did not seem feasible that they would be able to get everyone’s food out at the same time with the same quality.

I mentioned my concerns to the waitress. I asked her if they could bring out the food as soon as it was up because I was worried that some of the food would be cold. She was adamant that everyone’s meal would be hot, so I went to notify everyone once more of the holdup and what she had stated.

When the food came out only two people had hot food. Some people had slightly warm food, but the majority of the food was COLD just as I suspected it would be. I was extremely upset. As the waitress was passing by I informed her that my food was cold. She rudely barked at me that it couldn’t be because she just brought it out. I looked her in her eyes and asked her not to argue with me and told her that I would like to see the manager. I even mentioned to her that the guest of honor did not receive his food at all. She literally rolled her eyes at me and walked off. We had to feed him from other peoples’ plates …. LUDICROUS!

After five minutes ……. no manager. After ten minutes ……. no manager. After fifteen minutes ……. no manager. While I waited on the manager to come the waitress went even further with her unprofessional display and rudeness. My cousin, his wife, and two children were sitting directly behind my table. She spoke loudly as she uttered that people did not know how hard it was to be a waitress - it’s not easy; I wish that some people could be a waitress for a day and see how it is. I could not believe what she was saying and I knew that she was speaking indirectly (but directly) to me.

I then took it in my own hands to speak to the manager myself. I walk to the bar and asked for her. After explaining to her the situation and that I did not want my food she was of little to no help. She acted as if she was scared of her waitress instead of being in charge of the restaurant. She apologized for the waitress’s’ behavior, said that she would take care of my bill, and disappeared.

Everyone was trying to JUST LEAVE! We wanted to settle up our debt and get out of there, but that too was an issue. Although we notified the waitress during ordering that we would have separate checks it did not mentally register with her because she did not comply! The waitress did not know how to separate the checks after placing everyone’s meal onto one check. It was a mess! We were held hostage for over an hour to just pay the bill (LITERALLY – NO EXAGGERATION)!

About 30 minutes into waiting I went to look for the manager again and informed her that I had to go because my daughter had to be a work shortly. She was once again NO HELP! All she could say is that we had to wait until the waitress could figure out how to separate our checks. This was beyond UNACCEPTABLE! Management had no answers, solutions, and could not quickly resolve a simply payment issue. I couldn’t believe it. I could not believe that this was who was hired to run and make decisions for the restaurant. It was UNBELIEVEABLE!

At this point the waitress had sat at one of the tables in our party while she did her job of separating the checks – EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I could not believe she sat down with us as if that was acceptable. The manager must have saw this as an acceptable practice. Although she did not sit with the waitress she did stand behind her leaning on the wall looking as the waitress shouted out who ordered such and such. PREPOSTEROUS! I could not exit there fast enough!

After purchasing four 2 for $25.00 meals, having three of the four meals cold, and receiving the poorest service that I have ever received only $8.00 was taken off my bill (and I had to pay my bills separately due to the lack of expertise). I asked the manager for the district manager’s number. She literally disappeared AGAIN. The last time that I asked she still would not give me a phone number she yelled across to me from the register that I could look on the receipt for a number to call. I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT, but I should not have been surprised. The whole evening dealing with the staff was a DISASTER!

Unfortunately, I feel ill and could not get this sent out as soon as I wanted. Although that was so I was not dare going to not write about this experience. I truly hope that you reprimand the young blonde Caucasian manager and older African-American waitress for their performance. They put a negative stain on the name APPLEBEE’s.

Applebee's service/food

when we came in it took us several minutes to get greeted. once she got our food order, one of the orders was a 12 minute. it took our appetizer almost 20 minutes to get out. along with the 12 minute meal and was argued that it had not been that long but there was also no timer. the manager watched the server continue to argue w me. our servers name was Deja. it was the applebees on taylor road. we arrived at 252 PM.

Applebee's cold food

I love applebees I usually go there 3-5 times a month the last two times i went there i got cold food and it is supposed to come out sizzling bc its the burbon street chicken and shrimp this time it was so cold it didnt even melt the garlic butter i asked for a new plate and the lady did but the new plate had less food on it i was very disappointed with my experience

Applebee's service and product

On Jan 28 2018 my family and I went to apple bees in auburn ny around 1230 pm. We got sat down pretty fast and the server came over gave us our menus and only brought 3 plates and 3 silverware over mind u there was four of us . She asked us what we wanted to drink ice tea a diet a root beer and a draft after about 15 mins she came back with the drinks gave us the drinks but mixes the root beer up with the diet now I'm a diabetic so to drink the root beer was not good for me! After she dropped off the drinks she didn't ask us if we were ready or not but just left another 20 mins went by and than she came over to us after the fact others were offered food to them when they sat down after us. She than came over and asked us if we wanted to order never asked if we wanted Entrées be fore we ordered the meals we ordered 2 chicken sandwich meal the Quesadilla meal and just a burger. O and we had to ask for more silverware Another forty five mins later the food came out to us not hot but warm and cold in some parts! The quesadilla was so saltie it burn the roof of my mouth the kids chicken meal the chicken was burn and dried the fries for my son had a lot of pepper on them he ate just a little bit and I didn't eat all of it it was pretty nasty. I went through two drinks so didn't my daughter the lady didn't come back for another 45 mins or so and asked if we wanted desert um I think we were ready to leave by than it cost us 63.68 for a lunch / early dinner mind in well say I'm thinking we won't be back for some time now that was pretty gross

Applebee's waitress charmelle

After church on Sunday January the 28th of 2018 we stopped at our local Applebees. Which we absolutely love to do on Sundays as well as both my kids birthdays. On this particular occasion our waitress Charmelle was incredibly rude. I have had this waitress before during her training a couple months back and she was polite. Maybe today was not her day but because of this rude service I unfortunately will not come back to eat at this location. I pray that her attitude gets better before more business is lost. We visit this Applebees occasionally and I was very disappointed with the service the waitress provided. Worst attitude EVER! She grunted her responses when asked for a refill. I continued to be polite and she continued to grunt. Very poor service will go to chilies from now on after church. After all it is their competion I'm very upset and will never come here again . I don't know what her problem was but I'm very upset . I hope she has a BLESSED DAY! She needs to check her tude at the door.

Applebee's food and service

Went to lunch with my children yesterday and I ordered a 8 ounce steak with the mashed potatoes and sweet mashed potatoes well my steak I did ask for well done not burnt to a crisp and the potoates were both cold the waitress not once came back to see how things I heard someone call her trainee someone should let them know need to check on customers at least check and see if everything was ok

Applebee's oriental chicken salad

I went to the Prescott az location order on my phone 2 oriental chicken salad. I got home and opened them up and wow to my surprise. Not much salad. I took pictures of both. I guess a shortage of salad but not the rest of the stuff on salad.
Don't get me wrong we still enjoyed them less salad. I will check the next time at curb service before I leave.

Cass was been racist told the manager I cussed at her and I only asked why I couldn't get my Chicken tenders on another plate she got mad and said the manager will be over and the manager walked over an asked the security to ask us to leave instead of asking us wats the problem he wanted us to leave because we're black he didn't care to hear the problem I'm seven months pregnant all I wanted was my food separate on another plate even the security tryed to grap me n walk me out the door and I was with my seven year old child she cried because we had to leave and that's her favorite place to eat

Applebee's threatened at work

I am a server at Applebee's. I have been threatened by a employee Keith at the Middletown restaurant in Louisville, KY. He has said he will kill me, take my job from me and numerous other threats for the last few weeks. I have went to my managers and even the area supervisor. I have literally been laughed at. I asked for the HR number to file a complaint and they refused to give it to me. I have run out of options.

Applebee's saw employees doing drugs in parking lot

Saw employees doing drugs in parking lot and drug deals know ppl personally who work there none of the employees could pass a drugs test. Drugs such as coke and weed and pills are beings used. Managers let the employees smoke weed on the property. Willing to call police if business isn't looked into and try and get it raided bc thats illegal as [censor] for such a great company to be ruined bc of the Monroe NC store employees.

Applebee's service

We went to have dinner with our friends on January 13th. I ordered the 6 oz steak and asked for it to be medium with your crispy onion strings. Our waitress Emily had no idea what I was talking about. My food came and the steak was raw and I got fried onions. I had to ask another server to take it back to recook it and get me the onion straws. Then our server Emily came over mid way through our dinner to see if we wanted dessert and coffee. I was annoyed that she would ask seeing that we were still eating. I spoke to the manager and he said that this is Applebees new initiative. Well I think its rude and stupid and I told him that. We will not be patronizing this restaurant if this is how you treat your customers. One last item, when the server brought our check I was charged twice for the onions. I called her back over to fix the check and she brought it back to me and now our check was doubled. We did not have a pleasant experience.

Applebee's riblets

So, you finally bring riblets back! Then you make them unlimited on tv ad then in a few wks you take that away without notice! So, my husband ordered riblets off the two for $20. Menu and he received 2 Riblets with fries! Not enough food! Wow, going somewhere else next time! This experience was disappointing to both of us! The manager was very nice & friendly when we told him our issue!

Applebee's payment not received

We ate at the Applebee's in Albemarle, NC on 1/11/18 (Check#[protected]). Our check came to $14.68 without a tip. We had a gift card for $25 and another gift card with probably $5 left on it. The waitress (Kayla D) said they could not use both cards but instead of giving us one back with some of the money left, she took both of them. Then my husband also gave her a $6 tip in cash. I find this to be highly unfair and a scam on the part of the waitress, as we should have at least been given back the one card back with the credit on it, which would have come to $10.68. I think she should have checked the other card to tell us how much was on it so we could have taken it back and just used the $25 gift card. That one should have been returned also. We enjoy Applebee's food, but we probably won't eat there for a long time. Thanks for your consideration.

Applebee's wait staff and servers

The latest incident took place 1/11/18 at the Applebee's in Grovetown, GA. It was my husband and my anniversary, and we went there to have dinner. We walked in the front door and there were 2 young ladies at the hostess stand. They finished their conversation, and then asked us how many. One of the young women sat us. The booth behind us had off duty employees sitting there. The hostess went to get another customer a highchair, and on her way back she stopped at the off duty table to tease the gentleman about someone saying how hot she was, as the customer stood there struggling to hold her child while waiting for the hostess to finish her conversation about how hot she is, and bring her the highchair. My husband and I sat there for 15 to 20 minutes waiting on someone to come to our table and take our drink orders. We finally got up and walked out. This is about the 5th time this has happened at this particular restaurant. I have given them chance after chance, and I've finally had enough. I will not ever go back to that location again. I've worked in the customer service industry, and this location extremely lacks in that department. The restaurant was not busy at all. There were 2 tables occupied in the section we sat in. 2 or 3 in the bar area, and maybe 4 in the other sections total. There were more staff standing around talking than working. Just wanted to make you aware of this, and at this point, I'm not sure if a resolution can be met.
