APCOA run the Heathrow Meet And Greet valet parking at T5. They returned my car with a damaged rear bumper on 27th Feb 2016. They refused to take responsibility and now ignore my attempts to contact anyone at APCOA. So I am filing a crime report with the police next as I have no other choice. Please, DO NOT USE "T5 Meet & Greet" parking.

APCOA long stay car park at Heathrow terminal 5 is a scam. They charged me £195.10 for 1 week of parking. APCOA seem to be a semi-criminal organisation and should be investigated by the government.

The list gets longer! The APCOA ticket dispensing m/c at Bridgwater station is not fit for purpose. I no longer use the train but am driving to Bristol daily as I have received a directive to pay from this company after failing to get a ticket out the m/c and explaining that I needed to get my train which was imminent and forgetting to log on to their poorly designed website as I had deadlines to meet at work that day. My first reasonable appeal failed, but I am have now sent a second letter, refusing to pay and copied this to First Great Western.. I hope that FGW will eventually see that being associated with a Company which virtually intimidates their customers also shows them in a similar light.
Watch this space. ! Brian

Went to drop a family member off at Luton Airport and used their car park. The ticket machine had been set up wrong and charged me for over 1h (£20) when I was there for much less time, most of which was spent waiting for their one circuit bus that runs between the car park and the airport. When contacting the operator I received an intimidating, aggresive and rude response resulting in them hanging up on me multiple times when trying to resolve the matter. How are they allowed to get away with this treatment of their customers?

They are thieves in suits. Picked up my husband from Birmingham Airport on the road and received a £100 fine. I didn't even enter their car park...
When I hit the website and input my charge notice number this was not found. Called the telephone number on the documentation and was asked to redial [protected]. Spoke with Melissa on 11/12/14 how offered total my payment over the phone and that my fine was currently sitting at a mere £50. For reason I felt that that was always the what they wanted. When I told her that I wanted to pay via the web she me that the site was down and that they did not know when it would be up again. I asked to speak with there technical department and she refused to put me through.
I believe that these people are thieves, they do exactly as they feel and extort money out of general public all for greed.

Hi, I had to take my wife to the local hospital, it was an emergency (she was due to give birth). I parked displaying the parking ticket. I was also eligible for Concessionary Parking (Birth Partners receive parking concessions). However APCOA left me with a parking ticket on 2 different occasions. I tried to approach the Parking Supervisor, however I found him to be very intimidating (Tall white man with an extremely bad attitude) and he fobbed me off, telling me if I had an issue with the parking tickets, I should contact APCOA management. I have tried to call these guys but have been on hold for ages. I don't know how else to contact them. Can anyone help ?

I am writing regarding a "Parking Charge Notice" that was received from them today for dropping someone off at a hotel in the Drop off area for the Hotel, I didn't exit the car and did not turn off the engine, I was there around 20 seconds, if that is not a hotel drop off then what is?.The parking regulations were pick up/drop off for the hotel, and that is exactly what was done. Therefore no regulations were breached, I understand there is an appeals process, however I also want to make a complaint that it was issued in the first place and that when I rang up I spoke to Gina at 16.06 on 26th August 2014, who would not give out an extension number or surname and I didn't need it anyway as she was the only person working there, who incidentally didn't know the phonetic alphabet. I am astounded that Birmingham Airport or anyone else would want "Apcoa" as there representative and I will be making my feelings clear to the customer service team there as well.

I recently left my car at the Gatwick valet parking operated by Apcoa. Pick up and drop off were absolutely fine, no complaints there, but when we picked the car up we noticed that one side of it was filthy and the wing mirrors had been forced and broken. I wrote to Apcoa for their comments and received back an aggressive reply effectively accusing me of making it all up. I had already decided never to use their valet parking service again, but people need to be aware that they clearly just do as they please with no consideration whatsoever for their customers or their vehicles. AVOID.

I had a bad experience at an APCOA parking at Northwick Park Hospital. The machine would not accept £20 or credit card, by the time I located and walked to the kiosk, was over my time slot by few minutes. They charged me another £1.30 for the privilege. What a con. I have complaint to their Appeals department but without success.
They are making money of peoples misfortune.

I had problems using the APCOA system at my local train station (cannot call 0845 numbers under my mobile contract, never get the texts that APCOA say they will send as part pf the pay process etc), I rang APCOA, after finding their local number to avoid the costly 0845 number they advertise. Held for the usual 20 minutes or so & finally got through to an agent who talked me through an alternative payment process through their website. I noted that the time was 11.24am with the agent (they say they record calls) & I received confirmation that my payment for a day ticket was processed at 11.24am.
We returned to the car at the end of the day to find a Parking Notice stuck on the windscreen. The time of issue was 11.48am - AFTER I had paid & had my payment processed. Currently in my twentieth minute of holding for their 'customer service' team, even though they say they only deal with appeals in writing (ie snail mail) but mine is a complaint, not an appeal. Why issue a ticket to someone that has paid - £80 charge to be exact - where do they get that amount from as its totally disproportionate. Such 'Parking Notices' are actually unenforceable anyway of you look into the legalities, especially when two people are insured to drive the car - they have to prove who was driving that day before they can take it further as I understand it.
Will see what happens but this company is very dodgy - they are typos on their website, their systems just do not work properly. I have never, ever got the SMS system to work - first they blamed my mobile supplier, then they said something about opting in to accept the charge of 10p for the texts -no mention of that on their website that I can see.
Why do these people have the monopoly of parking contracts at so many stations - did anyone check this company out before they got the business? They have the worst customer service ever - still holdling by the way..

PS - finally got through to complain after a record 25 minutes of holding & guess what - I have to write in with my proof of payment, even though they have a recording of the call where they took my payment at 11.24am - before they issued a ticket for non payment at 11.48am. I was actually calling to complain but the manager was 'not available' strangely enough. Sigh.

I underpaid by £1 in September at Castle Cary station. In March I received a letter from a debt collection company demanding £128 within 14 days. When I phoned them they claimed to have left me a parking ticket which they did not and to have written to me 5 times none of which I received. They said there was nothing they could do as they had evidence of writing to me and they claimed the parking ticket must have fallen off which seemed to be my responsibility. I have a week left to decide what to do. I think they are thoroughly dishonest!

Its a racket, they run the Hilton hotel car park as well at terminal 4, the staff are rude unhelpful we had a complaint about damage done to our vehicle we complained to the Hilton hotel who told us to that Apcoa had the contract for parking, the man in the box gave us the contact JIM Jackman or [censored], what a rude man, we tried to get help and information about how it happened but wasnt interested, seems to be that these people think they can do what they like, as they think they are in powerful positions, why DOES BAA and the likes of the HILTON HOTELS make these people so Powerful, interested in the behind the scenes politics and dealings before they get these contracts? PEOPLE DESERVE BETTER TREATMENT AND PHERHAPS THEN WE WOULDNT ALL BE RIPPPED OFF, THE GOVERMENT SHOULD STEP IN NOW AND HELP PEOPLE, I NEVER EVER USE THE HILTON HOTEL AGAIN BECAUSE OF THIS, THEY SUPPORT PEOPLE LIKE THIS THEN WE WANT USE THEM!

Its a big con, its about time the GOVERMENT took action, after all they know everyone has to use Heathrow Airport why is it, that they can get away with the ridiclous pricing and attitude? Really £15 +++ to park your car, what is the world coming to! I had a run in with that Jim Jackman, what an arrogant PIG! such confidence and dont care about people attitude, our car had a flat battery, and we needed someone to come in and help us, he refused entry to the car park but said they would jump start the vehicle for us for £20.00 cash

I had a problem with APCOA parking machine at Bristol Templemeads station. The machine took money from me but didn't issue the ticket. This was 2nd May 2010, a bank holiday so there helpline was not operational. I called their customer service later in the week to demand my money back and they asked me to write to an address. I have done that and I am just hoping that they return my money. If other people had similar issues then please do come forward.

Try ringing Apocoa car parks they refuse to give out manager or director names, they all hide behind there desks we eventually had a complaint at Heathrow airport, and spoke to this rude Jim jackman, it seems him and Christopher pullen the so called director think they are above the Law now they hold monopoly of all the car parks at the airport, If you experience problems, post your comments here as well, we can then try and get the goverment or airport authority to investigate and split them up, i personally think there is alot of backhanders between them and BAA, against corruption, and bully boy tactics

Interesting - I've just had a run in with this company. A parking ticket dispensing machine swallowed my money, so I rang to report the fault and was given an address to write to in order to get my money back. I contacted them and they refused to reimbuse me saying there was no record of a fault that day. I've got further proof that there was a problem and will see what they come back with this time.

I agree the Airport is Corrupt so glad they sold Gatwick from BA with people like this working in the industry, have you tried ringing that Apcoa Car park company and asking who there Director is? what they got to hide and why is Mr Pullen advising all his staff not to give out his details? Strange old policy for an honest company?
