I have a transaction on my debit card for AOL qstore I never pay for anything on the net therefore my number can't have been downloaded, also this transaction has caused my bank to freeze my account resulting in charges for unpaid bills to which I will have to go through the hassle of reclaiming, I would not have known though had it not been for my banks good management. As you can realise this has caused unneccessary aggrevation to me and the transaction was for a mere 55pence. Please if anyone can shed light on this then let me know if not then take heed some little spoilt brat out there probably has your numbers too. Luckily I have fraud protection.

Awaiting answers,
Michelle

We are having the same thing happen. 9 temp charges on the 31st, 1 on the 23rd. The only business we do with this card is generally Arbonne International. Do you guys do business with them? Thanks

Seems to be something that just happened recently. I have a $1.00 temp authorization on my card from twx aol qstore on 8/16, but have not done anything with AOL for over 10 years and they've never had this card number. Seems someone got some numbers somehow?

I just received a call from my own bank about this, but the attempted $1 transaction was foiled. They are only suspending my check cards, which is a relief -- I'd hate have to set everything else up again. Having read about other credit card scams, I took the information the caller gave me, in regards to her name and her phone number, but I called the number on the back of my check card and and verified her credibility. I've done an internet search on this AOL qStore, but have only found complaints like the first one I found on this site. Apparently, banks have been alerted to this "store," and that's why I got a call BEFORE a transaction came through.
