wE HAD INSURANCE WITH ANPAC, BOTH AUTO AND HOME, FOR MANY YEARS IN PA. WE MOVED TO NC AND COULD NO LONGER KEEP IT. WHEN WE ASKED IF WE WERE ELIGIBLE FOR OUR REFUND AFTER HAVING NOT MADE ANY CLAIMS, THEY SAID NO BECAUSE WE SOLD OUR HOME AND NO LONGER HAD IT INSURED WITH THEM...FOR LACK OF FORTY FIVE DAYS THEY WOULD NOT EVEN SEND US A PERCENTAGE OF THE SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLAR REFUND. DESPITE THE FACT THAT WE HAD OUR TWO VEHICLES AND MY DAUGHTERS CAR ON THE POLICY, NEVER MISSED A PAYMENT AND HAD ONLY ONE AUTO CLAIM, WHICH WAS MY DAUGHTERS DOING (ACCIDENT, HER FAULT) YOU WAIT THREE YEARS AT FIRST THEN GET MONEY BACK FOR EACH YEAR THAT YOU DO NOT MAKE A CLAIM, THEN AFTER A CLAIM YOU WAIT THREE YEARS AND YOUR ELIGIBLE AGAIN...WE WAITED AND FOR LACK OF FORTY FIVE STINKING DAYS WE ARE SOOOO MAD. AND MY AGENT SAID WE WERE ELIGIBLE EARLIER IN THE YEARAND JUST A COUPLA WEEKS AGO SAID SORRY, NOT...WE SENT AN EMAIL TO THE COMPANY AND HAVE YET TO RECIEVE A RESPONSE TO THEIR DENIAL. PPPFFFTTTT TO THEM. STEAMING HOT IN NC

Anpac Insurance, more specifically, Agent Wayne Rousse from Cut Off Louisiana, is a liar and is in practice as a shady shady business man. I have documented emails to him ASKING for a QUOTE on one extra vehicle. In the process I shopped around, as I previously informed him I was doing (maybe that's what ticked him off?). I received his quote, then asked him to rerun the quote changing deducts, etc. as I couldn't afford the policy he quoted. He replied "will do, I'll send it shortly". I never received the 2nd quote. I went ahead and informed him I decided to go with different insurance company, thanked him for his help during the last 10 years, asked him one day in advance of the paid in full policy expiring to go ahead and cancel it. His professional reply was "k". That's all I got after 10 years of loyal business, with multiple policies. There was no further instruction of I will need this this and this in order to cancel the policy, etc. Fast forward 6 months later, I receive a letter from a collections agency for an amount of the NEW policy I simply asked for a quote on. He'd taken it upon himself to renew my policy (with no paperwork signed by me) and charge me fees for said new policy. I never received notice of this new policy, no new deck page, no letter in the mail, nothing. All this took place via email exchanges. He claims he has all my "phone logs" as proof I agreed to the new policy. I never once talked to the shady man on the phone. Unethical unethical unethical business. He's giving ANPAC Insurance a bad name.

Anpac is a very difficult company to work with, they are not flexible with payment options, they dont make available to pay online like any other company. They love to rip you off, when you call to ask a question is very hard to get a straight answer. I DON`T RECOMEND IT TO ANYONE

I agree, I have had as many as 10 different insurace types at any given time with ANPAC, from life insurance, autos, homeowners, etc.. I tried to make a claim a year and a half ago when my boat was broken into, only to have ANPAC make it so difficult that I just dropped the claim. A few months ago I again tried to make a claim, this time on my truck when it was broken into and had approximately $2500.oo in property stolen. After making a poilce report, and calling their 800 number to get "pre-screened" to see if my claim was worth their time or if they had some easy way out, I finally was able to talk to an actual ANPAC representative. I had to, for now the third time, give all the details of the theft, and was told I would be contacted by an adjuster in "a few days" a week or so later I was finally contacted by an out of town adjuster that could not meet me at my schedule since he was "from out of town". After 2 or three attempts of not being able to meet I was sent a letter by ANPAC stating that since I had not shown for my appointment with their adjuster, they were cancelling the claim, and in the future if I would like I could re-submit the claim and start from scratch. One time and I could understand, but two times of the exact same results is more than coincidence. I have had policies with ANPAC for over ten years, and I cannot beleve this is how they treat their customers. I called my agent and she was finally able to return my call a week later and let me know that if she had known she would have helped with the claim, the funny part is, when it happened I called her and all she gave me was the 800 number. ANPAC is a SCAM! One of many insurance companies lined up to take your money then turn around and run when you need them. Stay away from ANPAC!

ANPAC is a ripoff and con. Don't have anything to do with this insurance company. They use sleazy tactics, make you pay monthly into some stupid account, and are very hard to work with. It all adds up to a way to rip you off. Find a more reputable company.

sorry to hear you're not getting your refund. Are you sure you did not reach your refund anniversary date, which is usually about 2 months prior to getting the actual check. I had a friend that just cancelled her ANPAC auto insurance because of an unbelievable rate increase just because she turned 65. Got it with another company for over $400 per year less, more than what her refund check was ! Her agent was very understanding and cooperative, an embarased over his companies rate increase, in telling her when to cancel her auto in order to still get her last refund check. Your agent should have done the same or could have signed you up for a renters policy to make sure you qualify for your refund. I would double check the refund anniversary date, ask my agent why he didn't help me beat the system like other ANPAC agents are doing. Many ANPAC agents are loosing so much business due to uncompetitive rates they are very understanding and helpful in situtaions like this. Don't be fooled by this refund gimic, shop around !
