A good seller?
Back in July of last year, I made an order totaling almost a hundred and eighty dollars - twenty-two products - and the complete order arrived. I was enthralled and told a couple friends.
Or just a bait game?
A month later, on August seventh, I made another, though smaller, order to pick up the last few manga of a series. This one cost almost seventy dollars. Again, this was August 7th of 2009 (just to clarify). After a month of remaining in "processing", I sent my first email to ask what was going on. No response. Over the next three months, I sent six emails, and none of them were responded to.
The end result:
It's now March 24th of 2010. I long gave up on the site, but as I'll be moving soon, I thought I'd check to see its status (hoping they at least canceled it). Take a guess what it was? Yep! It was still "processing". It's been well over seven months, and not once was I even contacted.
Take what you will from my experience. But a word of advice: don't even risk it. They have a clever scam going on, and if you can connect two-and-two, than find a more reliable site.
Oh, and the friends I told? One bought a small order of under forty dollars from them - his is also still in the process limbo. The other made a whopping order of over two-hundred dollars, and his was "received" according to the site. The address he listed was 100% correct, but I digress.
One of my colleagues at work ordered a box full of manga from Anime Wild so i thought I would give them a chance as they were selling some of my favorite manga vols that I could not get anywhere else to complete my collection. I was really stupid and put in an AUD $400 order. It took my colleague 6 to 8 weeks to get the items so I kept waiting even though my order said it was still "processing". When it was getting close to 6 weeks I emailed them and a few days later the status changed to "shipped" so I thought that was in response to my email. It has now been five months since I received the order. It is too late to go to my credit card company. Don't ever trust this website. I don't think credit card companies should even be accepting this company (I am thinking of contacting my credit card company to see if they have a black list). They seem to ship some orders but now others which i think is how they are able to sustain their scam. i have since looked them up and there are numerous complaints about them. They have never responded to my emails and it is impossible to get a ph contact for them.
It's been months since I've ordered my daughter Christmas presents from animewild.com and they haven't shown up yet. I've tried to find a number to call but have found nothing. I wasted over $100 on this website. Take my advice and NEVER purchase anything from animewild.com
