MY EXPENSIVE & SO CALLED SUPER DOORS DELAMINATED IN 10 YRS. ThEY ARE ABSOLUTELY FALLING APART. THE WARRANTY FOR ANDERSEN PRODUCTS WERE ALWAYS TOLD TO BE 20 YRS
I KNOW I SOLD THEM.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Four years ago we purchased an expensive storm door from Home Depot made by Andersen...it has been a piece of junk since the first few months...It LOOKED gorgeous..for about a year and now it's disintegrating...corroded, the handle falls apart, the door closer broke right off(plastic on the inside), the sweep fell apart the first winter...we found out there is a 12 year warranty...great...except when we complained and got a warranty letter to have it replaced, we went to Home Depot only to be told that we would have to PAY upfront for a new door and be reimbursed when it came in, we had to pay for the new handle, sweep and closer, we had to remove the defective door and take it to Home Depot, we had to pick up the door or pay to have it delivered and we'd have to pay to have it installed again...my answer - NO FREAKING WAY! I'm still fighting with them but getting no where...worst, shoddiest customer service that I have ever experienced...
