American Signature Furniture Customer service

I have been dealing with ongoing issues every time I have something ordered. It's either broken, missing something, or put together incorrectly these items are supposed to be new I can't understand all the defects I was better off going to Rooms Togo. I call to talk with a member of management and the customer service people who answer the phone are so rude don't greet you correctly when you call, they keep you on hold and never check to inform you of what's going. Then you are waiting for the longest time it's so sad. I have heard sidebar conversations about me when they thought I was on hold smh so unprofessional.

American Signature Furniture Furniture delivery

Ordered furniture furniture 11/9/2020 and given 1/26/21 delivery date. We made $500 down payment and were told remaining balance was due upon delivery.Contacted store 1/16/2021 to confirm delivery date and told order was cancelled because order was not paid in full. Management offered no solution aside from refund of $500 or reorder furniture with 2/23/2021 delivery date.

We decided to place order for furniture and only partial delivery of furniture was made and email stating remained would be delivered 3/4/2021. Received another email 2/26/2021 stating furniture would now be delivered 5/21/2021. Checked delivery status 3/12/2021 and now it says delivery date unknown. Called store and am told they can guarantee delivery date now. Spoke to manager and only solution they gave is to charge us another delivery fee to pick up partially delivered furniture for a refund or said indefinitely for remainder of furniture to arrive.

Desired outcome: I would like delivery of remaining furniture ASAP or guaranteed delivery date within 30 days and refund of delivery fees

American Signature Furniture Refund request

On April 14, 2020, I received a call from Value City [protected]) that the table I ordered (including warranty) and paid for on 2/5/2020 ($429.78) would not be delivered because the model had been discontinued. I have been trying to reach customer service ever since to request that amount be refunded back to my credit card. Website (tracking) does not provide assistance, nor am I able to reach anyone via phone. In fact, the tracking function now says the customer ID is invalid. I want the amount I paid returned immediately.

Under the advisement of your representative, I purchased the worry free protection. There has been a slight accident to the back of the love seat. I sent photos in yesterday thru the proper procedures and they are saying this accident is not covered. Really? Is that what you call worry free protection.
This is my second purchase at American Signature Furniture. I am very disappointed in the customer service. Please help

American Signature Furniture TV Console

I purchased a TV console from American Signature Furniture (paid cash). My husband picked it up from the store and when he got home in Brunswick, GA, when he opened up the box the console was damage on the top corner ( was cracked). He called and spoke with the manager, she was very rude. She wouldn't ship us another one with free delivery as a courtesy. When my husband said that we would cancel our order, she had a no care, go ahead attitude. This is our first time purchasing from this company and will be my last time. The manager tried to accuse us of damaging the console but it was already damaged when he opened the box. So they ordered us another console but we had to pay for them to deliver it. I advise anyone NOT to deal with this company! The manager is very nasty!

American Signature Furniture Fraudulent warranty and product

The leather loveseat I purchased cracked open after just two years. I had purchased the warranty which they will NOT honor at all. It is supposed to be leather everywhere the body touches, but it is NOT. I need help and they will not return my e-mails or calls at all. The company is so bad there are over 200 complaints listed on the internet. I have looked up class action Atlanta attorneys and am giving them till this Wednesday to make an effort to resolve this or I WILL move forward with that action to represent all of those affected by their fraudulent furniture and warranty.

American Signature Furniture 2 piece winston sectional

I made my original purchase 7/9/19. Worst service I have ever received from American Signature Furniture. I showed up to pick up my sectional on 7/13 as it was originally promised and their warehouse delivery was delayed. However they offered me free delivery and 10% off purchase. Delivery day 7/19 sectional was missing legs. Delivery guys were nice and said Manager mike would contact me on Sunday to update me on delivery timeline. Manager mike never called, I called on Monday inquiring about the legs and another manager said oh I don't know why mike didn't expedite the legs delivery. However I'm going to give you another 10% since they already gave you one, for this inconvenience. Contacted manager Mike as there was no other 10% awarded, and he said you already received one and I will contact my managers and find out what happened, I will return a phone call to you on 8/13/19. 8/14/19 I called him to remind him that I Berger received a phone call and he didn't even know why I was calling about or what concern I had. This is ridiculous, As this company should provide better service for their customers and hire professional employees that solve problems instead of making the problems bigger. Disgusted with the service and the ppl on this Miami location. I have shopped before at the location of fort Myers and everyone was courteous and professional

American Signature Furniture king size bed with drawers underneath

I purchased from Your Madison TN store in October of 2018 a king size bed with drawers underneath . My complaint is not the bed itself necessarily but the 2 " beater" boards that go underneath the mattress fir support. That being said, they squeak all the time ! I turn them over, switch sides, all the time, spray WD 40 with no success . I am disappointed I paid $1400 fir a bed that squeaks when I could have bought elsewhere fir so much less! I would hope you stand behind your product and this issue?

American Signature Furniture furniture

DO NOT shop here or any other location. They lie and frankly do not give a damn. We bought over $11K worth of furniture on 11/24. We were planning closing our new house 12/20 so we told them that was tentative delivery date.

They did not mention that they don't sell their own rugs but only ship third party. So we got an email saying part of our furniture shipped. We had to call to see what shipped as our house was not ready and only construction workers would be there. We tried to get them to stop shipment or change to our current living address. The customer service manager at the store told us to "DEAL WITH IT". Exact words. It is out of their hands. Really? You shipped something when you were not supposed to and without asking and told us to deal with it? I called UPS but they said only the sender can change address. I can't call the sender because it is secret since it is American Signature's third party seller.

After all that was settled they finally delivered our furniture later than scheduled BUT neglected to tell us some items were on back order. OK we bought and paid for, not financed, all our furniture over a month before delivery and it is out of stock. So you don't actually keep people's furniture when they pay for it? And it's not a week or two out of stock, try 4 months! On top of that, NO ONE called to tell us, we only found out from the delivery guys.

On delivery, 3 items were damaged. Yes their brand new furniture arrives damaged ALL the time. Not one, not two, but 3 separate pieces. And guess what, all 3 pieces were out of stock so we have to wait another 2 1/2 months.

So our furniture arrives in waves, again NO ONE told us. You pay for all at once, you expect to get all at once. Nope, we are on our 7th scheduled delivery because they constantly call the night before and say that our supposedly delivery will be delayed because it is out of stock. Again, not once, not twice, not three times, but 7 times!

And 3 more items came in damaged. One nightstand is on it's third replacement! So we have to keep taking time off work, sit and wait for their 2-4hr time frame only to have damaged furniture or cancelled or no shows! They don't care about your time, only their pocket books!

So we are living in our house, out of boxes because we only got 70% of our furniture so far. Yes I have contact corporate, they don't care and will ignore you. I wrote about my experience on their Facebook page, they removed it and blocked me.

Think again if you want to shop with this company. Read the reviews, read the BBB rating and reviews. DO NOT shop with this business or it's parent company Value City!

American Signature Furniture sofa

I purchased a sofa from your lithonia, ga store november 29, 2017. I came home one afternoon after work I noticed there was a tear in the sofa. I took a picture and video of the sofa. I submitted it to the extended warranty department. No one offered to come out and check on the sofa. The inquiry was denied. I called and requested to speak to a supervisor, I was hung up on. I called back and requested to speak to a supervisor and have yet to be contacted. The rest of the sofa is just like new, no wear or tear at all.

American Signature Furniture coffee table

Purchased a coffee table and when I got it home it had several chips of paint missing and blue paint on a gold table. Immediately I called about it they said someone would be out the end of next week. The person came out said it need to be replaced and to contact Cindy at the Novi Mi location. So when I did she said I could pick another one up in three days. So my issue I don't have a truck I was moving when I picked up the table so I used the moving truck. So I'm inconvenienced with having to rent a truck because I didn't pay for delivery . So they won't bring one out to me. So because they sold me a messed up table I have to pay for delivery.

American Signature Furniture unethical behavior

When i signed my contact with american signature furniture i was not aware that i would be harrassed and spoken to rudely. Whenever my payment is due im being harrassed. I asked for my due date to be changed and they havent done so. I adv them i alway get paid the week after the due date. They say okay i'll document but never do. They call every reference all the time when i cant answer my phone call. I had a rep call me today and i adv her that the bank had already mailed the check out because now i have it setup automatically because when i had autopayments setup through acceptance they would always draft before i get paid. The rep began harrassing me asking me why would i setup my payments through my bank if i had never done it before. I politely let her know that i can do whatever i want with my money. I pay acceptance every month. So i should not have to deal with this kind of disrespect. She was very rude and put me on hold without notice because i didnt give her the response she wanted. I will be writing reviews about acceptance because the customer service is ridiculus.

American Signature Furniture circle sofa

I've been enjoying my sofa since 2014. The delivery was easy and I even purchased the protection plan of 3years, because I love it that much.
I did notice however that the cushion over the year started loosing its form and shape. No longer enjoying laying on the sofa, hurts lower back that I have to put extra smaller cusions to sit on.

I remembered that I had gotten the plan and that it covers such a defect. I was like, "great" let me make a call to see if I can get this cusion replaced. I was so dead wrong!

Called customer service. Was told I could file a claim. Was then transfered to the claims dept, they told me that since this protection plan was through the store that I would have to call the store. They transfered me to the store. The store said, "They had never heard of this and it didn't make sense. They would have to call customer service to find out what's going on" Called me back and told me, "Since I didn't report the loss of form and shape on the cushion within 10 days of it happening, there is nothing they could do"

This is so rediculous. After being transfered 3 times and getting the run around. After paying for the protection plan, in hopes of enjoying my sofa more. I even read my protection plan. There is nothing in writting that says you have to file within 10 days.

Totally BS! I've lost my money, let alone faith in helping your fellow consumer. I even went on-line and found this circle sofa in their outlet store, after they told me that it was discontinued and that they couldn't replace, even if that was an option!

American Signature Furniture, you definitly know how to get people's money in a very underhanded and slimy way. The least you could of done was refunded my money that I paid for this bogus protection plan, that I can't even use. I guess I would of been getting my replacement, If I would of lied to you...but I didn't...This is not worth it. You might as well take the word "American" out of your title.

American Signature Furniture mattress/ sales person

We just bought a mattress here and the Sales person wouldn't answer any questions, he was very short and didn't even double check everything to make sure it was right once he was done he walked away. He got our name completely wrong, our address was wrong and where to pick it up was wrong. We sure hope we get the right mattress! We have to go out of our way to go pick it up at a store we didn't even buy from WTH! Offered a discount back and never received. Will NEVER GO BACK...should of read reviews or other complaints before buying from.

American Signature Furniture poor customer service for my repair needs

2-21-17 - my phone number is [protected].

I'm upset with the poor customer service I received from each person I spoke with at the Beavercreek, OH Valu City store.

My situation: I was given today as the pick-up day for my couch to be repaired. I was given the time when they would come, which was between 12:30-2:30. I had a personal situation come up so I called them the night before asking them if they could please come anytime after 2pm or anytime before Noon.

My complaint is, there was ZERO accomodation. They didn't even try to make an exception. In my opinion, the problem is two fold. First, I was never given a time frame until the night before, which makes it very hard to make plans on my end. Every company I deal with always gives me the time frame when they set the appointment so I at least know the time frame days or weeks before.

So I understand that's your company's policy, that's fine, but at least make an accommodation. I was told I was last on the list so my time frame should be ok and that they probably wouldn't come until 2pm anyway. But the opposite happened. I even spoke to the driver at 12:30 and asked him to not come to my town until at least 2pm, I wouldn't be home until 2pm. And I could tell he had NO desire to come after 2pm.

So the dispatcher the night before and now the driver had no desire to accommodate and then strike 3 was when I spoke with the store manager. She too had no desire to accommodate. You still have to come back out to my town to pick-up my furniture, so why not make the trip today or at least accommodate me and come after 2pm? I am confused and frustrated by the complete lack of customer care. It was never there.

So instead of working with me, you still have to make another trip two weeks from now. I feel like no one is listening to me. I even had to close my mouth because the store manager (a lady) told me to stop talking because she was talking. So I remained silent. That's poor customer service! Then she proceeds to tell me she would be happy to schedule another day to come and pick-up my couch! She totally missed the point. She's not happy to help me because she had that chance when I asked her if she will ask those guys to do their job and pick-up my couch for repair.

Which is another issue, its a bad piece of furniture and needs repair and I've only had it two months when it broke! Valu City has lost a good customer. Is anyone listening to me? Will anyone resolve this issue to the satisfaction of the customer?

American Signature Furniture headboard and bed frame-ella charcoal queen upholestry

Bedframe and headboard purchased from Value City Furniture in Oct/2016. Delivered in Oct-Nov of 2016. Bed frame and Headboard full of bed bugs in January. Treatment and inspection for bedbugs in February of course I thought it was either fleas or ticks until I had the inspector tell me it was bedbugs. Landlord was kind enough to pay for treatment but I lost a bed I just purchased and to no avail have been living put of bags for a whole month. I feel very displaced and my husband and I are getting chewed up by these pests. Its ashamed that Value City furniture cannot be trusted to provide great service to people. I will make sure that people become aware that bed bugs come with your furniture it you are purchasing at Value City Furniture. American Signature Furniture bonded leather sectional sofa

I purchased a bonded leather sofa in August 2014. It started pealing and bubbling in March 2016. Started tearing 2016. Contacted my warranty company and filed a claim was denied on the first cushion. Second cushion started peeling and tearing in April, filed a claim again denied. Arm started and now tearing. Called final time they said American Signature would repair it. went to American Signature they said the warranty was on only one year. Well im still paying on the sofa and a warranty that won fix. Will never buy from them again and will tell my teacher friends to stay away as well.

American Signature Furniture simmons beautyrest mattress

Like most middle-class people, my husband and I work very hard to maintain a living. We're not rich by any means so, we can't afford high-end purchases just for the sake of splurging but when it comes to quality, we make the sacrifice. That's exactly what we thought we were getting when we spent around $600 for a Beautyrest mattress at American Signature Furniture less than 3 years ago but unfortunately, we got dooped! Yes, dooped! These days, we barely get any rest on our mattress which has shifted dramatically to one side and is now lop-sided shape but worst of all, a sink hole about 2-3 inches deep has formed inside part of the mattress! “Contact the store or company about 10-year warranty, you say?” Done! Technician came out, took pictures, and even commented himself on how damaged the mattress looked but as it turns, store refused to replace it. Instead, they tell us that they can see the damage and our putting our claim on hold until we can have the mattress cleaned! Asked if they can refer us to a place and they were clueless but still, we found a company that said they could do the work for $125! Well, no thank you because the store did not guarantee anything in terms of replacing the mattress so, we're possibly looking at being out $725 behind this crappy mattress! What a waste of money! Please do not make the same mistakes that we did by either buying a Beautyrest mattress or shopping at American Signature Furniture!

American Signature Furniture theater chairs

Bought 3 theater chairs, chairs started to tears to up I called American Signature Furniture they asked me to call uniters insurance. Uniters told me that the warranty only covers the back of the sofa. The seats or the arms were not covered.When we bought the theaters chairs we were told that the warranty covered all three chairs front and back. We all should get a class action suit against Uniters insurance.

American Signature Furniture dual reclining sofa

Purchased American Furniture dual reclining Sofa in Florida 3 years ago. I live in Florida 6 months so sofa was actually used for 1 1/2 years. The saleswoman said the fabric was blended leather when fact it was bonded leather The bonded leather is now peeling off. I called the store and the person that answered said they were not responsible and they did not know who we could contact with our complaint. This store has the worst customer service and they misrepresented their product. I would not recommend shopping here or buying any of their
products. You will not get any customer service after you leave the store and their products are
inferior
