to be unsuspended?

according to the below emails?
if you are unable to help me please escalate to the apppropriate
person whom can?

Thank you for your email.

Hello Scott,

Thank you for your email. I understand that you have added a prominent disclaimer to your site. I really appreciate all the efforts that you are taking to make your site compliant per our policies.

After reviewing your site 'www.thedeskjobdiet.com' today I have decided to escalate it to our specialists for re-review. I will give you an update regarding this site within 3 business days.

Thank you for your patience during this review.

Sincerely,

Paulose

Hi Paulose,
I have added the following to the site"
Disclaimer: The information on this website is not intended to replace
medical advice. Before beginning this or any other nutritional or
exercise regimen, consult your physician to be sure it is appropriate
for you. weight loss results ilustrated in the testimonials above are
indicative of the individuals only and weight loss results may vary
dependant uponn age, starting weight, height and other factors also.
The desk job diet works for almost all of our customers, but a small
percentage may not t lose weight. Unfortunately The desk job diet
can't help everyone. Due to this fact we have a RISK FREE money back
guarantee! Here it is: Try thisdiet, as directed, for up to 60 days
and if you don't lose weight, we'll refund 100% of your purchase
price.

"
as the footer to the site. Now the number of disclaimers exceeds the
number of supposed claims and account for 10% of the website word
count!.
Please approve the site now
Note, if this is not acceptable can you please:
1. show me where the claims (in medical terms and by medical
definitions e.g. FDA guidelines) are in the website, as I don't
believe I havve made any,
2. provide me with a text copy (not a link) of the particular policy
you are referring to for my records.
3. escalate this to someone whom I can have a phone conversation with
to ensure that the site can be acceptable to both parties.

So we can ensure that no further time is lost and clear communication
is available to me to meet your requirements
personally I am quite angry at the degree to which I am being
penalised by adwords and my brand is being erroded. It seems to me
that adwords is dictating how the diet products are to be marketed
outside of free market laws.

To date I have met all the requirements requested in the last 17
emails and should this continue I will be seeking legal advice.
Hello Scott,

Thank you for your email. From your mail I understand that you are not sure about which policy your site is in violation of. Your site 'www.thedeskjobdiet.com' is in violation of our Misleading and Inaccurate Claims policy.

As I informed you in my previous mails, our policy does not allow the promotion of sites which make misleading or exaggerated claims. I know that according to you your site might not be making exaggerated claims, but our policy is applicable to all our advertisers and this is why we can not make an exception.

I understand that you have made the statement '* Individual results may vary' in bold. This is a good start to getting your site enabled, but you could also consider explaining any health affects or side effects that may be caused by following your programme, you can also consider including the disclaimer multiple times on your site.

Scott, I really appreciate all the efforts that you are taking to get your site compliant per our policies. Please make the necessary changes to your site and write back to me.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Sincerely,

Paulose

HI paulose, the line individialy results may vary has been added in
bold to the testimonials section.please appove my campaign immediately
thanks
Hi paulose,
please define prominent for me, I have added a caveat on the front
page but this doesn't seem to be enough
Also please detail exactly what policy is being violated. None of the
claims on this site are unrealistic, indeed the concept of the book is
a simple common sense diet. so I don't inderstand what the issue is
here?
Thanks
Hello Scott,

Thank you for your email. Firstly I would like to give you some fantastic news. Our specialists have informed me that they have finished reviewing your site www.weatherwash.com.au. They have confirmed to me that this site is currently compliant per our policies and hence re-enabled.

With regard to the site 'www.thedeskjobdiet.com', I reviewed this site today and I found that it is still in violation of our policies. The disclaimer on your site needs to be prominent, it has to explain the average results, any health affects or side effects that may be caused by following your programme, you can also consider including the disclaimer multiple times on your site.

Scott, please write to me once you make the necessary changes to your site. I really appreciate all the efforts that you have taken till now to try and make your site compliant per our policies.

Please know that your account can only unsuspended once all the sites promoted through your account have been re-enabled.

Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,

Paulose
The Google Australia & NZ AdWords Team
Thankyou
I have included a disclaimer around individual results.please restore
my campaign
Mind you testimonials are not considered claims by definition, as I
make no claims for my book, but are refferrals from my clients.
However, in the interests of cooperation. I have amended my site.
Please approve now as the campaigns have not been functional for a
week and should any further delay occur, I shall be seeking
compensation for lost business from both sites.
thankyou
Scott,

Thank you for your email. Please know that the review of your site is done by a specialist team, this is why I escalated your site for a review.

Scott, our specialists have got back to me regarding the status of your site 'www.thedeskjobdiet.com'. They have informed me that your site is still in violation of our Misleading and Inaccurate Claims policy.

I suggest that you add a prominent disclaimer on your site which clearly explains that individual results vary.

When I reviewed your account '[protected]' today I found that your account had been suspended. Your account was suspended as the site www.Weatherwash.com.au that you promoted was disabled per our policies in addition to the disabling of the site www.thedeskjobdiet.com.

The site www.Weatherwash.com.au was disabled per our Made For Ads-Parked Domain policy. As per our policy we do not allow the promotion of parked domains.

It could be that your site was temporarily down which caused the disabling of this site. After reviewing the site www.Weatherwash.com.au today I have decided to escalate your site to our specialists for a re-review. We aim to complete this investigation within 3 business days.

While our specialists review the site 'www.Weatherwash.com.au' I suggest that you work on the site www.thedeskjobdiet.com. Please know that your account can only be unsuspended once all the sites promoted through your account is re-enabled.

Hello again,
okay I have removed the email form so there is no harvesting issue
and have altered the testimonials to remove the timeframe
please approve my ad.

Hello Scott,

Thank you for your email. I understand that you have made changes to your site 'www.thedeskjobdiet.com'. I really appreciate your effort in trying to make your site compliant per our policies.

I reviewed your site once again today and found that your site is still in violation of our Misleading and Inaccurate Claims policy. Your site still contains statements such as “I started the desk job diet in the middle of June, now almost exactly 5 months later I am down 30 pounds." etc which are in violation of our policies.

I also found that your site is still in potential violation of our Information Harvesting policy.

Scott, to comply with our policies please consider removing any misleading claims from your site and also consider including a link to your Privacy Policy which clearly explains the following points:

* What personal information is collected from the user
* How this information will be used by the company
* How the company transfers data to third-party companies
* How to modify or delete this personal information or opt-out

Once you make the necessary changes to your site please write back to me and I will re-review your site.

Thank you for your cooperation.

hello I have updated the site to reflect the changes mentioned below
please approve my campaignas I am keen to sell my self published book
and the initial results have been very encouraging.
thanksHello Scott,

Thank you for your email. I understand that you are concerned about the
disapproved ad in the campaign 'Campaign #1'. The ad in this campaign is
disapproved as the site 'www.thedeskjobdiet.com' that this ad is promoting
is in violation of our Bridge Page policy and our Misleading and
Inaccurate claims policy.

As per our Misleading and Inaccurate Claims policy we do not allow the
promotion of sites which contain misleading or inaccurate claims. We
believe that such sites lead to a bad user experience.

Your site contains misleading statements like 'I have been dieting and
following the desk job diet seriously for 6 months. In that time, I have
lost a reasonable amount of weight and increased my job performance
incredibly. I started off at 200 lbs. I am now at 152 and starting to
maintain...', 'A Fast and Easy dieting solution is possible for you!' etc,
such claims are in violation of our policies.

You can read more on our misleading and inaccurate claims policy at
:http://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/bin/static.py?hl=en&page=guide.cs&guide=1308243&topic=1310877&answer=190441
.

To comply with our policies please remove any misleading and inaccurate
claims from your site .

Currently I do not see that your site is in violation of our Bridge Page
Policy. But your site is in potential violation of our Arbitrage policy.
As per our policy we do not allow the promotion of sites which primarily
aim at showing ads while providing little value to the users. We believe
that such sites lead to a bad user experience. I see that your site has
many ads.

To comply with our Arbitrage policy you can consider reducing the number
of ads on your site, add more unique content on your site, add a feature
which allows users to write their feedback on your site, these are just a
few suggestions that I through of please feel free to make any changes
that you think are apt for your site.

I also found that your site is in potential violation of our Information
Harvesting Policy. As per our policy, when a site collects personal
information of users, the site should have a separate link to a Privacy
Policy on every page where the personal information of users are
collected. The Privacy Policy should explain in detail how the information
collected is going to be used.

I see that your site collects personal information of users but does
not have a separate link to a Privacy Policy. To comply with
our policies you can consider adding a separate link to a Privacy Policy
to any page which collects personal information on your site.

- If collecting personal information from users, make sure you have a
privacy policy that covers the following topics:
* What personal information is collected from the user
* How this information will be used by the company
* How the company transfers data to third-party companies
* How to modify or delete this personal information or opt-out

Please clearly mention how users can opt out of any mailing lists that
they may enter by entering their personal information on your site.

Scott, please make the necessary changes to your site and write back to me
so that I can escalate your site to our specialists for a re-review.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Google false clicks overcharge

This is a followup of a submission that I placed several days ago.
This is a the response from Google Adwords and my response to them.

My Response to Google Adwords:
Hello Vivian,

Re Credit of $48.62

I saw my bill go from an average of $75/month to almost $300 in a single month.
There was no benefit or value in this for my company whatsoever. NONE, ZIP, NADA!

There was even a period from Nov. 10-14 where every day the account maxed out at about 24.00/day, whereas in ALL prior months the amount per day averaged $2-3/day.

After Nov. 14, the amounts dropped again but only back to aver. $8.00/day. (until I paused all campaigns).
Something pretty fishy is going on here, Vivian!
You can rest assured there was ZERO increase in my business during this time, or thereafter, due to these clicks. Links to my website were arbitrarily placed on sites by google that had nothing to do with my business. This was done for the pure purpose of increasing google's revenue, not mine.

While I believe that it is possible that you yourself, Vivian, believe that offering a $48.62 credit may appease me, I must tell you that this is completely lame. The surge in clicks during the time in question (entire month of Nov. 2011) is completely unfounded and constitutes a gross error and misappropriation on the part of google.

I consider this highway robbery.

I can't imagine how much google's revenue increased during this time from other companies increase in frivolous clicks after being placed on superfluous sites. Maybe google wanted to give every employee a nice Christmas bonus, so they just stole it from their customers...?

After being a very solid google adwords customer for the last several years I am thoroughly disappointed with the attitudes, tactics and policies of your organization.

This is pathetic business practice.
I would imagine that a class-action lawsuit is headed your way because of these actions.

FYI, a copy of this email will be posted on as many complaint sites as I choose.

Google's Previous Response and attempt at appeasement:

Google keeps crashes or malfunctioning

I have lost count of the web pages I have encountered problems with when using Chrome.
The most common problems I have encountered are with the relentless Shockwave crashes. Every time I have tried to find a solution by, ironically Google-ing it, I have never been able to find an effective official Google response. Instead just a number of individual users coming up with best guesses which work for a short time and then the problem starts up again.
The best advice I have found so far was through an independent site 'techlogon' ;
http://techlogon.com/2011/08/11/shockwave-flash-crashes-in-google-chrome/
Would it kill Google to provide this kind of info ?
Anyway the shockwave problem is fixed for the time being but now I have a new problem. I now find that I can't use Facebook at all when using Chrome; not just an add-on like Scrabble but the whole site.
Well after tolerating Chrome's relentless glitches since the month it launched and after many wasted hours 'Google-ing' to find a solution and basically doing Googles work for them, I have officially had enough. I doubt it this compliant will be mentioned at the AGM but to the folks at Google, goodbye, I am off to Opera.

Ever since i have had Google Chrome installed I have had nothing but trouble with it, especially with Facebook, I get shockwave crashes in every game I play on Facebook lately, I'm totally sick of it. Either fix it or I will uninstall it, I have had enough.

Google refund

Signed up for 2 week trial of "Google Mobile" advertising. Cost was $150 and $99.95 to setup account... Ok... well, into the trial, "Google" was telling our rep that we were getting phone calls and clicks. We never got one phone call, long story short... google said our webiste was incompatible with their system, my site is standard html with a flash header... no biggie. we asked for a refund and only getting the $150 back... they will not refund the other $99.95 because they "set it up"... meanwhile nothing worked.

Below is some information about us...my name is Garon and I am a current employee with wisllchq.com . I have to agree with one of "Business Savvy"'s points...our websites are a bit lackluster...as web design isn't forte. However, he is mistaken about changing our name...we are still Wholesale Internet Solutions LLC and Priority Placement Media is a separate company at a separate location.

Since everyone on this board is venting their bad experience, I thought it would be appropriate to share some positive feedback from some of my clients. You can email me at garon@wisllchq.com if you do wish to have a Google/Bing/Yahoo and/or Facebook page managed correctly and perhaps a credit towards any future service to make up for your bad experience.
Best Wishes in 2014 to you all!
Garon

Since Wholesale Internet Solutions began in 2011, we have grown from 2 employees to 90 and have become Google Certified Partners and Facebook Studio Edge certified. As is common for many businesses who deal in the volume of clientele we deal with, sometimes there is a customer who feel their experience in doing business with us has been less than adequate. We address each of these on a case by case basis and have attempted to either reconcile with complaintants, credit them additional services, or refund them entirely.

In all fairness, we believe that most legitimate complaints by busineess owners are made via the BBB and though we opt not to pay BBB for membership, our B+ rating with BBB represents our diligence in providing honest and ethical service.

As the advertising and marketing consultant for a variety of independently owned businesses, I have had the pleasure of working with Wholesale Internet Solutions for almost two years. Their knowledge of Facebook advertising and all the possibilities offered by social media is second to none. They have done a superb job at helping me help my clients venture into this often confusing and quickly changing world of social media.

During this time my clients have realized a growth in their business including an expansion of their customer base and in particular a younger, customer base that is by and far a result of our Facebook ad campaign. Their customer service is second to none, and I have no problem asking them questions on behalf of my clients because I know the answers will never be self serving. They are committed to best serving the customer.

As a small agency, Wholesale Internet Solutions makes my job much easier!

WIS is great! My rep has great communication and always is listening to our suggestions as we do his. He's never ever pushy like other advertising companies and def try's to do what's best for our business.Wholesale Internet Solutions is the longest company we have advertised with thus far and he's a huge part of that!

I have worked with many seo and marketing companies through the years and have always been disappointed. When Wholesale Internet first called me, I was very hesitant to hand over more money, only to be disappointed, yet again. I decided to give Garon a chance since I liked him on the telephone. He sounded knowledgeable and was very personable.
I can honestly say that I have seen my sales increase since working with WIS. I gave him a very small starting budget, but he still managed to give me results.
I have since increased the budget and I know it will result in even more sales. If you want to increase sales, Garon is your man. He is also very responsive. He either answers the phone when you call or calls back very quickly to handle any concerns you have. I highly recommend Wholesale Internet Solutions and feel lucky to be working with Garon to grow my business.

You all can complain to Google Directly at the Bottom of this page, it say " not happy complain about this partner"

https://www.google.com/partners/#a_profile;idtf=[protected];

They are a scam. So dirty that they have had to change their name now to http://priorityplacementmedia.com/ from http://www.wisllchq.com/

Any web design company that has a website that is this horrible shouldn't be trusted. They are supposed to be experts...ha ha ha! You can tell from their sites that they aren't good at even making a site of their own.

it seems that if they CALL you, it is not good. the only good review I see here is by the business who called them. (and that person may be one of their employees, trying to give them a good rating.) i too just got a call from them and surprisingly was able to talk them into calling me back on payday. this is giving me time to research their company. i'm not seeing many good reviews at all. thanks everyone for helping me make up my mind.

I was called by WIS in November (or around then) of 2012 and decided to try it out in Dec 2012. I also received ZERO calls as a result of this service. So, understandably I would not recommend them.

I got a call from Wholesale Internet Solutions Also...telling me how much money they could save me over my regular google adword campaign account for only 250.00 a month...and for $100.00 more added all the other search engines stating that I would get the 1st spot on Google and 1st spot on click to talk...Ok I agreed and .after getting no calls and no emails...(during Spring Break when my phone normally rings off the hook) and its been 8 days since I signed up and I have not seen my website on the searches I 've done NOT ONCE ...I called them daily to complain and today excuse was they said my account has used all the budget and that I had 56 clicks...( they never once mentioned a budget )...I asked that also! Their promise was the 1st location. .I gave them $350.00 and got nothing...I called every day asking where was my website...I looked several times a day...It wasn't listed. To top it off today...they said if I could give them a little more money they can fix it so I can see my website... What kind of fool do they think I am...
If you get a call from this group... Hang Up, , , Run, , , , 56 clicks for $350 without a call...you will out of business using these scammers

My phone has been ringing off the hook. I almost have to much business now. W.I.S or Wholesale Internet Solutions was the best thing for my business in the last few years.

Google predatory marketing & billing practices

The issue pertains to Google Adwords. Adwords allows users to advertise in Google's search results and on different websites. I have never used their services in the past, but in April of this year, I received a promotional $75 credit in the mail towards the program. I signed up for it, thinking that once the $75 was done, I wouldn't have any financial commitment to the site. Nowhere in the advertisement did it state otherwise. One month after I signed up, I was surprised to see a charge of $29.65 on my American Express credit card. Promptly, I cancelled my account online, and chose not to argue with Google because the charge wasn't that big and the advertising was probably justitifed.

Fast forward to October. I logged into my Adwords account because of a link I saw in Google's search results advertising Adwords. When I was in, I noticed a credit balance of $4.93 in the account. I filled out the required form on their website to request a refund for the amount. I received an email from a representative (Anuja) stating that I needed to cancel my account and follow a link to request the refund. When I clicked on the link, it was to the exact same form I had just filled out. I thought that the email was simply an error on her part, because it appeared to be a form reply. Thinking this to be the case, I figured I would still get my refund in the allotted 3-4 weeks. This wasn't the case, as when I checked my American Express account online in November, there was a charge for $64.27 from Google. I promptly logged back in to the website and noticed that the account had been reactivated. I contacted Google to complain about the charge, but they are persistent that it was me that reactivated the account in October although I have stressed that there would be no need for me to do so. I have spoken to someone in their Senior Member Team (Juan V) and he is adamant that because services were rendered, Google will not refund me back my money; and on top of that they will charge $2 for an additional click after the billing period. I have tried to talk to someone higher than him, but he was adamant that there is no one else that can speak to me. I was hoping there would be an ombudsman of some kind, but there is none. The only solution is to fill out a complaint form which (as per the website and Juan), will not be answered but will only help them improve their processes, believe it or not. Here is the link.

All in all, after being deceived by a $75 promotional credit, I have spent almost $96 on services that I did not want rendered. American Express has refunded $32 as a goodwill gesture because of my history with AMEX, but they are not willing to argue on my behalf because they believe they will get the same response from Google.

I am frustrated by the actions of Google and was hoping you might be able to provide some assistance.

There was a period of 6 months where I was not charged anything. I logged back into my account, saw a credit balance of $4.93 and requested a refund using THEIR form to request a refund from CANCELLED accounts. I followed THEIR instructions to a tee. I have no reason to make stories up and I am not absent-minded that I go around signing up for everything under the sun. Google is one of the worlds largest and most respectable organizations, who's unwritten slogan is "Don't Be Evil". However, if you do a little research like I have done after this incident, you will realize that I am not the only person who has been the victim of Google's gouging practices.

With regards to the $75 credit there was nothing written on the leaflet I received. There must have been something hidden in the lengthy agreement. Granted. However, how would the terms and conditions apply to the $67.77 I have now been charged?

On April 11, 2016 I created a Google Adwords ad for my company. I limited to up $100 a month no more. On May 11, 2016 I got charged $62, and another $250. I called Google customer service and spoke to (Charan) who said there was 2 accounts, 1 with. $100 limit, And another with no limit. I advised him that I did not creat that second account. He said he would deal with the second account and see if he can get me a refund. Over the next 2 weeks we exchange emails where he's offering credit rather then my money back. I stood my ground and told him that I had no interest in doing Buisness with Google Adwords. He said well we can give you a refund. I let that be. On June 9th Google Adwords once again charged my credit card for $354. I call Google customer service, and spoke to (Sneha) who was adamant that I mad a mistake. After she look over the notes of my conversation with this (Charan) she says "oh it looks like Charan made a mistake and forgot to cancel the account". I'll see if we can give you a refund.

On December 7th I tried to put 150.00 into Google AdWords account, but the screens said transaction did not go through, please try again; so I did and got the same message. The next morning when I checked my bank account there were two charges of $150.00 each that went to Google. I called and told them, they denied it, I went to the bank and got routing numbers, sent them to Google, and they said maybe we did get your money but were not saying we definitely did. What? After a couple weeks they said they got it but it would take up to four weeks to get it back that was over 6 weeks ago and still nothing. They are thieves. I have been assigned one person in so called “customer service” and whenever I try to go around him, I am sent back to the same useless POS. I was told they had problems like this that day, December 7th, 2011. It looks like they have these problems more frequently. Has anyone ever received their money back?

Google account recovery

I have tried to recover an account that has been disused by myself for many years. Unfortunately I do not know my old password, neither do I know the answer to my secret question. I submitted multiple requests for "Account Recovery" by filling out a form with my personal details on in the hope to get it back with no success. The problem is, my Xbox LIVE account is registered to this unused email address and if I can not access this I can not verify my new email address which I have been using for many years now. It is not up until now there has been much concern however, I recently PAID for a yearly subscription to Call Of Duty: Elite through Xbox LIVE which I can not access or use if I do not have my old account details. Basically, I'm now paying for a service I can't use. Furthermore the reason I signed up and paid so early is that you gain special status on the site if you register your premium account prior to the 13th of November. I have done this but I can not verify my account which is tied to my old unaccessable email. So in other words, I'm going to miss out on my special privalges and I have lost 4000 in microsoft points to the value of 35 pounds. I do not think this is fair as there is more than enough sufficient proof to say that I am the owner of my old email address and I am sure they have many ways to proove it via IP addresses etc. The fact that Hotmail does not have a telephone number is a problem too.

Google correction of town name

I live in Pilgrim's Rest South Africa and I am complaining because Pilgrim's is split into 2 towns an Uptown & Downtown and on google earth or any gps device it shows that Pilgrim's rest is only in Uptown and I have a business in down town so you can see why I'm complaining...if it is possible for them to rectify the problem for it to say either the name Pilgrim's Rest in the middle of the two towns or by saying Uptown & Downtown, the 2 towns are only 1 km from each other but it makes a huge difference! Please help!

Google hacking of e-mail id &[protected]@hotmail.com

Respected Sir,
Subject: Complaint against hacking of my E-mail account bearing ID”[protected]@hotmail.com “and its misuse.
I am Dr.Kumarguru.B.N doing my postgraduation in MD[PATHOLOGY] course in JSS medical college, Mysore. My E-mail account bearing ID “[protected]@hotmail.com” has been hacked and is being misused by the hacker. The details are as follows.
On 17th August 2011, I noticed an E-mail from a hotmail account holder asking me to provide details of my hotmail account in order to retrieve their data. It also mentioned that my E-mail account would be closed permanently if I do not give the details. The mail was designed in such a way that it appeared to be authenticated. So I gave details like my name, date of birth, password of E-mail account bearing ID “[protected]@hotmail.com” ect.
On 18th August 2011, around 6:22 Am, I got a phone call from one of my friends from Mangalore who informed me that my E-mail account bearing ID “[protected]@hotmail.com” has been hacked and the hacker was requesting for monetary support from him. I tried to log in with my usual password to my E-mail account bearing ID “[protected]@hotmail.com”. But it was not possible I tried to recover my password using different options provided in the hotmail help center. I was asked to furnish details which were difficult to recall as the mail was created long back. The male was created about eight to nine years ago. I furnished the details whichever I could recall. I created a new E-mail account [[protected]@hotmail.com] as per the instructions in the form to which status of my request was sent. Inspite of giving more information as per the directions my request for account recovery was turned down stating that ownership of“[protected]@hotmail.com” could not be verified and issue number was closed.
I wish to bring to your notice that E-mail account bearing ID “[protected]@hotmail.com” has been hacked and is being misused. I would not be using this E-mail ID in future and I wish to close this account. I request you to kindly resister my complaint for further action and kindly oblige.

Thanking you,
Yours Sincerely,
B.N.Kumarguru,
[Dr.Kumarguru.B.N]

Google RIP OFF NOT SCAM

My experience was here in Arlington, Texas. I just did it for fun to see how and what it was all about. The lady I talked to (Jessica) said there are no fees to audtion but I knew I was going to pay something so I didnt bring my wallet just in case they sell me. I dont think its a scam but I do believe they are just trying to get money the best way possible. They want only new faces and people because most likely you want have a portfolio. I won the "first round" in competition but there was like 8 others that won and like 2 that didnt make it. Furthermore, American Mall Model search have been at the Parks Mall for weeks everyday at least twice a day and ALL these people are winning. What got me is that I didnt have the money for a photo shoot that day. I understand I need one and HAVE TO PAY FOR ONE BUT I could ONLY pay that day and nothing else. I told her (Trinie)when I come to the photo shoot I dont mind paying then but she said "do you really want to do this" and Im like "yeah". Well I want photos anyways so i didnt mind paying but she told me I couldnt go on if i didnt at least put something down today. Ha! If this wasnt for mostly your money and mostly love my talent and beauty they would let me come back to pay. Basically, this is just for money and the odds are veeerrryyy slim. For a company to have been here sooo long. WHY I HAVE NOT HEARD OF ANY OF THE MODELS OR ACTORS THEY CLAIM GOTTEN CONTRACTS. They were ONLY small jobs that they had. You'll have a better chance to keep entering into tv contest. If this is really your passion go for it and invest in yourself even if its by slim chance but dont let this be your only option.

I have been trying to recover my Hotmail account since the 11th of July...I give up, you win. This was all I needed to push me to Apple, I'm home in a few weeks after spending some seven years in the Middle East and I'll buy my first I-Mac then. I've been trying so hard to recover this account after someone in my contacts list (Unknowingly) sent me a virus. I've supplied Micrsoft with my 'Secret' questions, answer, my post code, my address and date of birth, a list of my sub folders, my recent traffic but still they cant confirm I'm who I say I am... I hope you dont have similar problems and have to deal with MANILA help desk, they are inept, help desk my ###! The thing that bothers me most is that, at this time in my career, I've sent my CV out to many companies, just over the last few weeks and my contact details are my Hotmail account details, all my sub folders, colated over many many years are now history...I feel so disapointed in Microsoft, really disapointed. What can I do when 'COMPUTER SAYS NO'

I have had somewhat of a similar problem. I cannot access at all anymore. I am not getting answers and it has been over a month now. Google Misleading and Deceptive

In the recent past I was looking for a new telephone system for my office and I googled several companies in the Washington D.C. area. I came upon a company called Telforward. I also found this site Pissed consumer with complaints about the company. Well I had to see for myself if the complaints were warranted. First I went to their website telforward.com and it was a very shoddy web page that was lacking in information and just plain boring. Then I found their new web page at www.telforward.com and it was totally new and advertising a new system they are selling called the UC-iPBX. I scoured the internet to find info on this product and found it to be a starbox from a company called star2star. I also found that the new Telforward web page is just a rearranged copy of the star2star.com website and leads you to believe that they are a large company capable of providing great service. I even contacted some of the customers that are quoted on the website and they have never heard of Telforward. Flooring America said that their system is 10 years old and that they never purchased equipment from Telforward. They also said that they do use them for service because they have one person on the staff that has been managing their systems longer than he has been with the company. Me being a trusting person, I decided to visit the company to discuss my needs. Let me just say that Telforward lacks forward motion.

As I drove in I had to check the address because it was in an old run down building. I stepped inside and the Telforward office was a real junk shop crammed to the max with empty boxes and old furniture. I met with the CEO and while speaking he mumbled and paused several times during our conversation as if trying to remember his sales pitch. I noticed that he was trying to use a lot of manipulative phrases and it was obvious he was trying to mimic by body language which is a trick to make someone feel comfortable. Bottom line this company is broke and starving and seems to be led by incompetence. Misleading and deceptive

Cut these scammers at the pass, before they take anymore money from you. Call your CC company and tell them about the scam and they won't let google take anymore money. Same with your checking account. Call your bank and tell them not to allow this company to take anymore money from your account.

I think the point people are trying to make here is that they are finding out that this company is not allwoing them a way to cancel as is ALSO stated in the contract. This company sent red flags to me immediately when I saw 2 different people with exactly the same story and exactly the same 'first car' purchased after a wedding. It SCREAMS scam and scams artists always prey on people who are likely to JUMP at the chance to make big money for little work. This offer was also accompanied by: 'act now, 56 positions let!' ANOTHER red flag, and another reason for these people to rush into it. People are looking for a better life and are getting caught. Welcome to the recession, the snakes have slithered out.

This Google Money Cash is nothing but a scam. They just ripped me off this past week!  I did report too the bank and closed the account. I wish I knew other measures to take. If enough of us could contact higher resources maybe we could put them out of business. If anyone has any good suggestions please let me know.

If you had read the TERMS AND CONDITIONS before signing up for the thing you would have seen IN WRITING that they will charge you 70.00 a month... NOTHING is free... they have to make money too... when will you people learn... I work in customer service every day and it is sooooo frurstrating when people get coupons and don't read the details... that are printed RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEIR FACE! You have no legal action to sue so you will just have to deal... you signed the dotted line you should have read the CONTRACT... nope all you saw was FREE and MONEY... get some COMMON SENSE... and get a REAL JOB.

Google rip off

Every business wants a 1st place ranking on Google. More leads and more business, what business wouldn’t be tempted by that.
Before Google’s advertising program ‘Adwords’ appeared on the scene, creating a Google friendly website and targeting the free organic listing was the only option. In stepped Adwords, this offered businesses the opportunity for a page 1 ranking in no time at all, albeit a paid option.
(The adwords listings appear in the red boxes, the organic listings in the Google box)
Now Adwords management companies can deliver first page results and plenty offer a great service in doing so.
However over the last couple of years I’ve spoken to quite a few people and clients that have been offered Adwords management and 1st page rankings from companies claiming they are somehow associated with Google, and are authorised Adwords resellers when clearly they aren’t. The sales pitch is misleading and the service that they offer although it sounds like a great deal isn’t quite as good as it seems.
The pitch usually includes:
1. First page on Google permanently over the duration of the contract
2. Unlimited clicks for the traffic that will go through your website
3. 24 hour, 7 days a week listing.
4. Buy in bulk keyword offers

Struggling neighborhood non-profit, Google disputes over excessive ad charges and aggressive telemarketing

A billing disagreement between Google’s Adword and a fledgling neighboring non-profit has remained unresolved. Alleged aggressive ad marketing practices that lured the new startup into an expensive service may contribute to its demise.

Tony Coleman, manager and executive director of the year-old non-profit Bikes for Life, exhausted all efforts with Google to reverse or at least credit part of the invoices that started when a volunteer activated the “Adword” account promotion without his knowledge and after giving in to persistent telemarketing by Google Adword salespeople.

As Google explained to Coleman’s volunteer, Adword is supposedly geared to allow businesses to control their own advertising and elevate their brand thru search engine optimization. Coleman was unaware that each “click” on an ad is billed to the advertiser by internet users that may or may not be prospective customers.

“The more I discussed my situation with colleagues, I found out that there was no truth or benefit to signing up for Adword; anyone in the world can click on an ad, but still not generate any sales leads, ” said Coleman. “This is where I suspect that Google may be taking advantage of small startups such as Bikes4Life through predatory and aggressive marketing.”

Three months had passed when Bikes4Life was billed more than $900 of Adword advertising. Business hadn’t picked up for Coleman since then proving no benefit to the struggling nonprofit on the verge of possibly closing shop due to the effects of the economy.

Despite feeling that he was scammed, Coleman contacted Google Adword to terminate the service and negotiate payment for the invoicing due to the nonprofit’s limited income stream. Google refused to negotiate and insisted the charges and the sales approach were legitimate.

Bikes4Life is a West Oakland local non-profit bike shop in the neighborhood that helps out at-risk youth through mentoring and vocational training. But as with a lot of non-profits, Bikes4Life has also been struggling to stay afloat and may have to close its doors due to lack of funding.

Unfortunately, slick predatory practices to acquire more unsuspecting customers have been on the rise taking advantage of unsuspecting small start-ups. Google’s focus on domination, diversification and expansion of its presence in cyberspace, it has set its sites on small start-ups.

"The public should beware of this Adword pay-per-click advertising service Google is offering because it’s an easy way to be taken advantage of, “ said Coleman. “I have every reason to believe that my experience proves that Google has been very aggressive in their targeting small businesses and organizations.”

In the spirit of corporate social responsibility, Google may have worked out a reasonable payment arrangement with Bikes4Life, however, the non-profit has learned the hard way that the best interest of the customer isn’t one of Google’s core values.

Anyone interested in helping Bikes4Life remain in business to sustain its mission of helping disenfranchised youth, please send checks written out to One Fam/ Bikes 4 Life to 1600 7th St., Oakland, CA 94607.

I have an adword account with a $350 limit so it shuts down if the funds aren't there. A friend is advertising with it. Somehow it didn't shut down and went to $900 without her knowledge. She keeps calling - about 20 times - and they admit it was a mistake but don't fix it back to $350, so she can pay that and continue with the account. They are rude and hang up. Apparently, Google has shipped its Entire Adwords CSR operation to a foreign CSR boiler room and given them Zero power to fix a problem so they just lie about it.

This just goes on and on with rude CSRs saying either they fixed the problem or can't, and no one will correct the problem they Admit was an error. They just run her around in circles to people who are all from the same boiler room. Adwords now has ROTTEN customer service when it used to be good. I know since I dealt with them previously before I retired as a webmaster.

She put the Contractual limit on it since she sometimes runs low, is very busy and doesn't see their notices, while I am retired and don't check every day. The account is Supposed to shut off at the limit - but it didn't - even though that's the whole Purpose of the limit. It has always worked before unless Google changed and is not upholding their policy. My friend is a single mother and put the limit at what she could afford to pay. Google won't fix the problem even though they admit it was their error, and she just gets rude CSRs who hang up on her. She's afraid if she starts the account again they'll just take the money out of the bogus $900 she can't afford to pay - and to repeat - the limit is so you Don't go over a set amount. Otherwise why even offer it? That's if she can be understood at all since she says they're often unintelligible as well as rude.

She's tried talking to supervisors but they're all apparently in the same boiler room and you just get passed around. If they are supervisors, Google has given them ZERO power to fix anything. They admit there's a problem then lie and say they fixed it but didn't. Here's a quote from her:

"I would just pay the goddamn $900 if I had it! I hate talking to those people from India. They lie constantly. Like that supervisor said he understood that it was their mistake to keep charging me after the $350 cutoff and he would fix it. He never did. This was of course after the other guy promised it was reset at zero and that was a lie too!" -Kymberlee

We just can't seem to GET THROUGH to anyone - it's maddening. I am becoming frustrated and as a former Consumer Advocacy webmaster whose last complaint site went national, I am considering coming out of retirement just so I can get a response. Adword acct # [protected]

Hi, yes I agree google adwords advertizing services can wipe your bank account clean, without you even knowing.
Here is my story.

When you signup for your google adwords account it asks for your payment information and then you sign up for a advetizing plan for a daily amount, I choose $10 in my case.

I was just testing google adwords hooked by a $100 dollar credit cupon they offer. I sighed up so I could use their $100 credit and test it out. After using up the $100 credit I disabled my ad. Six months latter I found out that my bank had been wipped clean by google adwords. Luckily for me this was a emergency fund account and had only less then $1, 700 and google adwords pulled over $1, 600 from my bank account, it could have been much wose! Since in my mind this was an inative bank account I was not checking my electronic online bank statements to realize that google was ripping me off every month.

I called google Adwords to complain and talked to managment a few times. They were not able to remove my charges because they could not verify that I had pause my advertizing. I thought I deactivated my ad, but something went wrong and it was not properly deactivated.

Google adwords claims I never diativated my ad, so they will not give me a refund or credit. They could see that there was no activity in account for over 5 months. I never returned to google adwords because I thought I had deactivated my ad, but this was not enought for them. I told them that the website I was erroneously advertizing was dead, they still don't care. The month I deactivated my account I only had a $190 charge and every other months it was around $300, so to me that shows that I did deactivate my account. By now google adwords has added a new code to deactivate an ad, they have a pause and play option and they could not tell by the logs that I had ever paused my ad.

Bottom line, you have to be extreamly careful, if you accidently do not properly pause your add you will be charged for an infinite amount of time and they will not re-inburse you, this could cause you thausands or more if you have the buget in yoru bank account.

Google Adwords failed to send me a montly bill to make me aware of the charges. They could have easily send me an email every month with the charges and they would have made me aware that my ad had not been deativated. I believe that they should be responsible for sending a monthly charge statement but they don't believe they need to sending a monthly bill. I think they are wrong and I would love to have an attorney file a class action lawsuit for unethical bussiness practices. You can not just grab some ones credit card or bank info and charge them indefinitaly with out even sending them a bill with charges.

If there is an attorney that believes that google adwords is doing wrong and willing to make a class action lawsuit at no cost to me, please contact me or reply to post.

I am not an attorney. I am a victim of Google Adwords' deceiving practices and as a result, I am out over $4k that they charged me for ads that I also had deactivated and with absolutely no favorable results from those ads. How they were able to contend that I approved two ads when I thought I only had one, I don't know. I admit that I was clueless about how to do Google Adwords and not until I discovered charges on my bank account that I didn't recognize did I, through research, discover that they were charges automatically paid for Google Adwords. At no time was I asked if I wanted to put a cap on what was spent for advertising ~ I definitely would have! Apparently they do not guarantee a return on your investment in advertising because I did not even see the ads (they didn't share that information), they waited until the charges accumulated to a $500 amount and I didn't receive notification until that amount had risen to over $2k! That wasn't the end of the charges either. I will definitely like to be part of a class action lawsuit should one be pursued.

Hello,

This is to bring in notice to everyone that now days google is only doing is wasting time & money of people, as per the latest research google is not able to generate 10% of its revenue compare to previous years, now everyone is leaving google & bing for advertising, everyone is going for advertising & publishing at advertising networks which are high productive and better in generating revenues, however most are good for publishers due to bot traffic generation. But still many are good for high real traffic %.I have around 25+ google suspended accounts for me and my clients. I have digital marketing agency in new delhi and serve a good reputation and value in and around new delhi,

Google & Bing are now going into trash. People are leaving small overseas businesses with United States they are turning to other countries as there less revenue but constant with major benefit of less disputes on charges which is way beyond high in united states. because in this country people says they forgot that they paid to this merchant and initiate dispute. people use overdraft and when unable to pay bill they dispute charges. what the hell is this? are you dumb ###? yes you are, cause you are compare to donkeys who do not remember anything.

People suggestion is that instead of running behind google & bing make them run behind you. Leave them then they will run behind us.

Regards
Sumit

I have paid Rs 12500 for online promotion which they have sent the proposal for year but now google adword is demanding Rs 15000 to 25000 for to verify my documents, as i said that it was not in proposal that I have to pay this much amount for verification, when I contacted to adword they said it is understood that as per google perameter you have to verify your documents and this amount has to be paid, So thats why we are not responsible for your amount, If i pay the amount only than we will move further, otherwise we are not responsible for anything.I think this is a clear case of fraud, so a police complaint should be lodged .

I was just notified after an year of a "past due" balance that it was sent to collection. Not once was I notified and at no point did I owe when I shut down my account (over a year ago). I was told that there was several attempts which at one point I talk to someone (false notes..). I strive in good credit and not having past due balances. This company either has bad representatives or it's just a flat out rip off. At no point did this company help my business and it was a complete waste of money. I will not recommend this company/service to anyone I know.

ADWORDS charges people for Clicks outside their targeted Area. I emailed Adwords. It went to management. They still refused to refund my click price for the search "heavy truck repair keyes ca"

I only advertise in the Dayton Ohio area. Keys, California is over 2, 000 miles away.

I attached all of my emails with Google Adwords so that others can have further proof of this happening. If this happens to you. Dont be afraid to keep contacting Adwords. Remember it costs them money every time someone has to support you from Google. So if they are going to steal $5 from you. You need to stay with them and keep bugging the heck out of their support team so "technically you get your $5 dollars back". Because these thieves will NOT GIVE YOU A REFUND for crap clicks.

AND NOW. You used to be able to advertise for "car repair dayton ohio" but now google will give you anything that contains even one of those words. Even though you are using "phrase match". Google decided it was better to charge for non-phrase matching. So you really have to watch these thieves pretty closely of most of your advertising budget will be going to nothing at all.

Ah. I see you didnt find them. In order to see the issue I am talking about. You want to view "search terms" instead of location.

Then you will see the search term that I was charged almost 6 dollars for.

"heavy truck repair keyes ca"

That equals "Heavy Truck Repair in Keyes California or Canada

Both locations are over 1400 miles away.

I also have a list of other ones. I've got searches for "tooth brush holders" and other things.

But again. I understand how googles search engine works. For instance. When I use google, it shows me what I am looking for. Not something 1400 miles away. So it is not dumb by any means.

And since I am paying for a service. It should work correctly or my money back correct? I mean I cant me being charged for faults in your system. I report the faults, you fix them so I dont have to do extra leg work. Thats why I pay for it. Its bad enough I had to compile a list and take time out of my $75 hourly labor rate to chase issues with google. (manager of an auto repair shop)

So my goal of email was to find out how and start getting all of these taken care of. Im sure this is a normal email. If not. Google must just be picking on only me.

:)

Google AdWords

Hi,

Greetings of the day and thank you for contacting Google AdWords., I do understand your concern of getting clicks outside your targeted locations. Be rest assured as I am here for your help.

Upon further investigating into your account, I noticed in the user location report that all the clicks you received till date is from Ohio, United States. I am attaching the screenshot of the same for better understanding.

In order to investigate further, I would request you to provide me the screenshot of the user location report where it says the click received is from Keyes. The screenshot you provided is of the Search terms that the users are punching to search for your services. It does not show that the click is from outside the location targeted.

I am providing you the steps to access the user location report. The steps to reach there are:

1. Sign in to AdWords at www.google.com/adwords.
2. Click on the "Dimensions: Tab
3. Click on "View" drop down menu and select "User location" option.

You may also refer to the Geographic report from the same menu to check for the user's geographic location.I would also like to help you with customized tips for your campaign to make it perform better.

Quick Tip:

1. Ads not serving for the whole day:

While looking into your campaign settings, I noticed that the delivery method is Accelerated. In this the ads serve frequently till the budget gets exhausted and stops serving the ads. I would advise you to change it to standard so that the ads can serve throughout the day at equal interval of time within the same budget.

2. Some Keywords are not earning you the topmost position.

I saw certain keywords like "auto shop" and "car service", which are below the first page bid and I would recommend you to increase bids for the keywords which are below the first page bid as your competitors are bidding aggressively against you and the competition has become stiffer. In order to change the bids, just click on your Campaigns tab and then click the Keywords tab. Then, in the "Max. CPC" column of the table, click the bid you want to change and enter a new bid amount.
The estimated first page bid (Est. first page bid) amount approximates the cost-per-click (CPC) bid needed for your ad to reach the first page of Google search results when a search query exactly matches your keyword. This estimate is based on the Quality Score and current advertiser competition for that keyword.
You can also find your Est. top page bid using the instructions below. It approximates the CPC bid needed for your ad to appear regularly in the top positions above the search results.
These estimates can help you make better bidding decisions. On average, ads that appear on the first page or above the search results tend to get substantially more clicks than ads that appear on other search results pages, or alongside the search results.
To view the estimated first page bid metric in your stats table, just follow these steps:

Visit the Keywords tab and click the Columns button.
Select Customize columns from the drop-down menu.
In the "Attributes" drop-down menu, add Est. first page bid, and click Save.
You can do the same to view your estimated top of page bid (Est. top page bid).

Hope that helps.

If you have any further assistance required, feel free to reply to this e-mail as I am just an e-mail away.

Have a wonderful day.

Best Regards,

Ritesh

Alright. Then tell me how I benefited from receiving that click.

Using the search term "heavy truck repair keyes ca"

Tell me exactly how I benefited from this. Because what you are saying is. I got a search that is well within what I was going for.

So First lets break down the search itself in its entirety.

heavy truck repair = im looking for a heavy truck repair shop
keyes ca = im looking for a place located in keyes ca

Now if you break up those searches. You will find what I say is true.

If you search for "heavy truck repair". You will find "heavy truck repair.

If you search for "keyes ca". You will find Keyes California.

So now that you know how it works. When that user search for "heavy truck repair keyes ca" from Ohio. That user didnt even get what they were looking for because your search engine is broken.

So not only did that user try another search or search engine to find what they wanted.

I got nothing for it. Except a bill for over $5.

So I paid for the broken search engine. And nothing else. And its not even going to get fixed so my money was wasted lol.

Hi,

Thanks for replying on my e-mail.

I do understand that you are referring to search term and it says "Keyes, Ca". I apologize that you have to undergo all this. Be rest assured as I am here for your help and will try my best till the end and will leave no stone unturned.

I would like to inform you about the search term. A search term is the exact word or set of words a customer enters when searching on Google.com or one of our Search Network sites for the same line of business. Although it is possible that this search term / click is coming from Ohio.

Location reports in AdWords can show the places where your customers are physically located, or the locations they showed interest in. You can view data from two different types of location reports:

What triggered your ad (geographic): Shows your customers' physical locations, or locations that they had shown interest in through searches or content they had viewed.
Where your users were (user locations): Shows only your customers' physical locations, regardless of any locations they may have shown interest in.

As provide in my previous e-mail, the clicks that you have received are from Ohio and not Canada / California. If you still think that you are getting clicks from non- targeted regions, you may please send us the weblogs of the clicks that you are suspicious about. You may take the help of the webmaster, if required.

Hope that helps.

If you have any query with regards to this, you may reply to this e-mail as I am just an e-mail away :)

Google misleading advertising

The American Psychiatric Association has affirmed homosexuality is a mental disorder. This morning there was an ad from google chrome on Hulu extolling this mental sickness by saying "it only gets better."

This is not only deceitful, but is also an attempt to elevate a mental derangement - by definition - to a level of legitimacy. Will google next decide to do this with a psychopathic killer mindset? Why would Hulu allow this type of content?

The root cause of the psychopathic killer and the homosexual is the same - mental disorder and sickness. These people legitimately belong in a place where they can receive the mental care they need.

This is not a civil rights issue no matter how much these mentally impaired people want it to be. Their condition is NOT comparable to racism b/c a person cannot change their race, however, a person with this mental disorder can be cured. The facts are that many have been cured.

Check the facts out. You will find there is no factual way to deny the truth of what has been said in this post. A hysterically emotional stab back at this posting does nothing by show support for what has been said here (ad hominem - look it up).

This also is in direct contrast to thei claim not to have false advertising - see attached picture:

“It only gets better”. I thought it was about people who like to play with their dog’s sex organs. If your parents try to discourage you from it, if your friends tease you about it when they catch you doing it, yes, when you get older you can do it more secretively and get away with it better. That does not mean it is a good thing to do even if you have a "natural desire" to do it.

Google not professional!

I received a call to audition. However, when I arrived no one was at the stage that the company had set up. I called and left a text message like it said and still I got no response. I was unsure about it in the first place after reading reviews online, but figured I would at least see if they would tell me I had to pay. Long story short, no one showed up and I stayed at the mall 4 hours later, and there was still no one there. I can't seem to understand how a company can give you a specific time for an interview and never show up; a bit odd. Not only that, but I was told to come at 7:15 in the morning, I could have stayed sleep.

I think you got it wrong because in ALL of the other reviews/complaints it say 7:15 but it's 7:15 at NIGHT.

Google Idiots

Some people are big idiots when they complain about American Model Mall Search. First of all you only have to pay if you do not have a portfolio. Many of the interns assume that you do not have one so they fill it out for you. You do not have to pay if you have a portfolio and resume on hand. Since there are little kids auditioning who obviously do not have that, they use this fact to fund their operations and keep the business open. I took my little niece to this today and it is legitimate enough for me. She did not know it was an audition of some sort, but she still made the best of it. The people were friendly and even offered to help those who did not know how to do the cat walk. I believe this will be a good experience for her.

I am just wondering for those of you who are complaining about paying money for a competition... How can you say its a scam? Do you have children that play sports? I do I have a daughter in gymnastic and cheer leading, along with a modeling agency. I have a Son who has played baseball since he was 3. When you get into different things you have to pay for competition. You pay to play baseball.. you have to pay extra for tournaments or you can't play in them. In Gymnastics you pay for that and when you get on a competitive team you have to pay for all the meets you go to plus travel time, and hotel stay. So that leaves me asking how this is any different from what i mentioned above. Those fees you pay for gymnastics meets and baseball tournaments Doesn't guarantee your child to be a pro baseball player or whatever sport it may be! If you are truly into your child or yourself being in the modeling industry and you don't make it all the way its about the experience because you need to show that on a resume. When your child tries out for a sport, a coach is looking for specifics.. can they pitch? Can they hit? or whatever sport you may try out for they are looking for specific things. This is the same with modeling. At some point it requires money. Stuff in every industry has to be funded somehow or there wouldn't be any sports, modeling, etc..

To any people who disagree with AMMS.
I participated in the competition and had a blast! Yes, it costs, but that's only to pay for necessities. And it's not even that much! They have payment plans and will try to work with you for your benefit. They even offered me an internship and I can honestly say that I have no regrets. They're in it for the actual benefit of others to seek out hidden talent, NOT to scam people or con them out of money. And besides, this is a competition. Do not walk up there expecting to be in a commercial the next day. They want to help but can only do that if they can work with you. Try to understand that they travel all over the place and deal with people every day. They know what they're doing. And like I said, this is a competition. Not an actual agency, so of course they can't pay for everything. They refer you to someone who will. It's a talent search so they need a little profit for more searches. There are strict rules and guide lines, which makes it hard for them to accept any kind of portfolio. They prefer to do their own so it's not complicated and everyone is happy. It's not a scam, and I even work with Ashley and Jameel. They are very kind and always ready to help people. Don't get offended and start up a lot of unwanted drama just because you don't like making a small sacrifice for your children's dreams.

Dear "bringdownAMMS"
They would make you pay for it one way or another because otherwise how will they pay for it. If people come with there own stuff and aren't charged some sort of fee how would they stay in buisness for mmore shows.

The problem is, on the little manual they hand you, it says you get free entry with every photo-shoot, and if you instead give them a portfolio, you'll have to pay entry for the talent competition. If they were really gonna give you an opportunity to act/model, they wouldn't make you pay for it.

Google Greatest Experience

This was the greatest experience for both my child and myself. A couple of months ago my child begged and begged for me to fill out the card with her information, so I did; thinking what is the harm. About 2 weeks later I had received a phone call from AMMS, the lady was asking about my childs experience/personality. After I had told her she was shy but breaking out of her shell the lady was about to tell me that it was not a fit for my child but then I had explaine d that this was all of my childs idea and not myself. The lady then said ok so she may be ready. That was on a tuesday and my childs try out was for thursday. We showed up and there was about 10 people, kids and adults. My child was not a top pick and actually Toby the photographer actually had a talk with us about how she is still a bit shy but that if I felt that she could then he would let her go on to the next round. I answered him that with a bit of practice she would be able to do it. I felt sorry thought because there was another child that did not make it not even with a second try out. So my childs photoshoot was for the following day; yes, I paid the $150. The auditions was for the next day Saturday. We showed up registered, received the photoshoot CD (42 pics total). I paid for the audition CD $25. My child did really well; especially on the cat walk. About a month later (I was getting a bit worried) I receive a phone call from AMMS and they indicate that my child has won the 1yr contract. About 4 days later I receive in the mail the contract packet and the audition CD. So for myself I did not see this as a scam because I have received everything I paid for. Also the pictures of my daughter are absolutely beautiful. Toby the photographer was instructing my child as in how to pose. I wanted to upload one of the pics but the size's range between 4.88 - 6.45MB and the max size is 2MB.

It seems that experiences have had different results. My experience was great. I paid for the pics and got great pictures. I believe you can split the fee. Tell them that you want to pay half now and then the other half when you pick up your picks because you want to make sure due to all these reviews. I'm sure they will comply.

I missed the deadline due to working 50hrs a week. I was not able to mail out thecontract in time. My child here and there brings up aout when is she going to do modeling but I bring something else up. They do not book appointments for you they will notify you of any castings in your area or if you are willing to fly then they will fly your child and one parent with paid expenses. Atleast thisis what I read on the information of the contract. Once they notfy you of castings then you would go and sell yourself to get the job. In a way I'm glad I did not mail the contact because I work soooo much as it is already and its really hard to take time off.

After reading a particular posting I have came to realize that the photographers name is not Toby but the correct name which I had forgotten is in fact Brody. Brody was great with my child and made the photoshoot fun and exciting.

@ Jet_jet
They offered me an internship too and told me to show up the next day dressing business casual. I did, and everything they had me do was help them out at the fashion show they were having. This lady "the big boss" or Triny just had me running errands and getting them food. I didn't come back after the show was done because this is not what I expected.
Did your internship job was better? Or maybe I should have stayed after the show for more instructions =/

I agree. I took both my daughters through the process. Yes, I did pay for their pictures, but the pictures came out GREAT and it was such a positive experience for them both. Plus I just got notified today that BOTH of my daughters were awarded one year contracts. I guess they each had the look the agency was looking for. My kids are 16 and 10.
