American Kennel Club They should public apologize to all the people they have fraudulently processed papers for unregistrable dogs.

I have purchased two high dollar dachshund pups registered by AKC. However, when paying the fees to get the certificate and then another huge cost for a legitimate pedigree. I find the pedigree embarrassing; these so-called registered dogs' pedigree is littered with unregistered parentage. That offers nothing that their pedigree say they offer. Like color and pattern of each dog their akc number etc. The listed pedigree unregistered dogs have no information don't even know if it was purebred or mut dog. This is con being permitted upon the people while AKC gets rich, and the dogs may or may not be purebred. That is what we pay them for, and their service is not reliable and may even be made up. Who knows because they refuse to open their books. Or explain their actions. The public should be warned about this huge scam and scheme perpetrated by AKC. Once a well thought of Registry and producer of purebred registered quality dogs. However, they have scammed the world and should made to repay every dime they have received for supplying false information and deceiving breeders and buyers of AKC dogs. On my female pup's pedigree there is listed 31 dogs on the pedigree 24 of those dogs are unregistered. How can that be?

Desired outcome: Also refund everyone what they have paid out for these fake registration papers and pedigrees.

American Kennel Club Fairlure to comply with contract/threats of extortion tyler mills, joe metheney, adagio professional handling, llc, marrisa schmidt

April 12, 2022

Dear Mr. Mills and Mr. Metheney:

I am writing to update you on the matter of my civil suit against you as representatives of Adagio Professional Handling, LLC.

First, the attorney you chose to represent you, D’Arcy Downs-Volbracht, threatened to defame me in my professional life which could amount to a loss of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Secondly, she threatened to report me to the AKC precluding me from participating in AKC events or breeding.

Most significantly, on your behalf and with your permission, she threatened to file a federal lawsuit against me.

She made false allegations about me saying that I have “a well established... pattern and practice of behavior of serious boundary and ethics issues. Your repetitive inappropriate conduct is a reportable offense to the Virginian Board of Medicine, who would be obligated to review your first practice given the context of the threats against not only my clients but other participants in the sport of dogs.”

Her list of threats is ongoing.

For your information, per my attorney, D’Arcy Downs-Volbracht, is not legally able to represent you as an Attorney in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and for her to represent herself as such, at your bequest, is fraud.

Second, I forwarded her letter containing multiple threats against me to the Arizona Bar Association. They indicated to me serious concerns about breach of ethics on behalf of your attorney, again that you retained and gave permission to represent Adagio Professional Handlers, LLC. I have been notified that over the past two months, the bar has made numerous attempts to contact your attorney about the allegations of breaches of ethics. A written explanation has been requested, and as the attorney that you chose to represent you, and for whom you hold ultimate responsibility, she has not responded.

In my initial complaint, I indicated that you agreed in writing to show a dog for me that you did not. Furthermore, you entered into collusive behavior to dissuade me from purchasing a puppy from Marisa Schmidt, while at the same you had reached an agreement with Ms. Schmidt to obtain one of her puppies. You showed and subsequently went Best of Opposite Sex at the Westminster Club dog show with this dog. Ms. Schmidt willingly participated in this deception by defaming Adagio Professional Handlers LLC while at the same time, you were defaming her. This is corroborated by multiple written communications.

What you have done through your attorney, who is not even legally allowed to practice law in Virginia, is blatant frivolous threats to defame me and take federal action against me in order to prevent me from moving forward with my case.

A person who threatens someone to file criminal charges is illegal regardless if the person is a lawyer, debtor, or one of the public. For the public members, threatening to press charges against someone to take advantage of the situation can be considered a crime. It can be subjected to extortion which is punished mainly by a fine or imprisonment depending on the offense level.

I will be reporting Adagio Professional Handling, LLC and Ms. Schmidt to local, state and federal law enforcement for extortion under Code of Virginia § 18.2-59. In addition, I am reporting all parties to the American Kennel Club for their review and appropriate action against both the two of you and Ms. Schmidt for severe ethics violations.

If Ms. D’Arcy Downs-Vollbracht contacts me, I will also file a claim against her for extortion and request a restraining order from all parties involved.

I hope you understand the seriousness of this situation to the welfare of all involved and you will take immediate measures at resolution.

Sincerely,

Isaac K. Wood, M.D.

American Kennel Club pomeranian standards

Today's akc suggests that a pomeranian be less than 7lbs. This just proves the akc does not care about healthy dogs as this is not the standard for pomeranians. They should be ashamed of themselves for advocating inbreeding to downsize this style of dog as many of them can develop health problems. It is the careless standards like this one the caused the development in persian cats. Shame on the akc!

I swear the people breeding dogs these days have never cracked a book on breed standards. The Boston Terrier breed, for one, has been ruined. "outbreeding" too. BT's are not supposed to have Staffordshire terrier heads or weird colors...but they're out there - tons of them. Sucker public drops huge bucks for these messes.

Amen. I am glad to see someone speaking out about this. They are changing the standards on all the breeds! (because they can). Oh and they call it line breeding. Well, they just added an L and an E to in-breeding.
