American Freight emily bed, dinner set can't remember name

Short sweet very unprofessional people in tyler texas and lack of communication on there part as well. We canceled our order on last sat. The 16th bc they did not deliver all our furniture that we paid $65.00 for. Call them again today in the tyler office spike to sam he said they had to submit it.. They were to do that already on the 16th. This furniture is here at my home opppuying space.. We do not wont it! You will not get a payment bc we've already told u that. Please come and get your belongings!

American Freight dining room tables and living room tables

This place is a joke I ordered stuff close to then end of the month told them I was moving Nov 1 st they never came on the first came the second with only
Beds called the next day saying my table was damaged .itll be in Monday Monday comes no call call them it'll come Tuesday and they will deliver it and I don't have to pay anything all week still calling nothing talked to two different people all giving me different stories Thursday comes the delivers have my stuff but won't deliver it because they aren't getting paid after AMERICAN FREIGHT TOLD
ME I DIDNT HAVE TO PAY Friday call 4 times your stuff will be delivered today it's now 10 texted the delivery ppl finally call them they tell me they are off and they will bring it tomorrow morning what type of stupid mess is this ? But they don't give refunds I'm calling corporate and complaining the most unprofessional place on this planet everyone there is worthless and need to be fired give me my stuff like how hard is it why is everyone acting brain dead and I can't wait to go in the store and cuss everyone out it's now the 8th won't get my stuff until the 9th I told them have it by Nov 1st wtf

American Freight account complaint

I started my finance service with American Freight June of 2019. I was financed for the amount of $2900.00. I have been paying on my account every month and never missed a payment. I spoke with an customer service rep 09/06/2019 and notified me that my balance of $1600.00 has to be paid 09/12 or my balance will increase by $5000.00 regardless of what the remainder of my balance of $1600.00. I really need some help with my account.

I was told that if I didn't pay my balance off in 3months they were going add on an additional $5700.00 to my account balance. I'm in the process of purchasing a home in December and I explained to them that this increase on my credit report will automatically bring down my credit score and disqualify me for a home loan.
This company has to be help accountable for their actions! I was also told that they can not provide me a detail statement of how the company came up with the $5700.00 increase.

It’s amateur hour with these people. First, I couldn’t get any statement from them at any time as to what time of day my washer would be delivered on the agreed day (not even a window). Then I received an excuse saying they would deliver it the next day. I had paid for delivery and removal of the previous washer. The men who showed up were not qualified/permitted to unhook the old washer so they just left the new one in my garage. now I must park my car in the street until I find some competent people to unhook the present machine and install the new one. at the very least they might have told me before delivery that though they would haul away the old one I had to find someone else to unhook it first.

American Freight bedroom sets

I moved into my new house in June 2019. Ordered brand new bedroom sets for my daughters from American Freight that month. Spend over $800 cash on the spot. Was told by salesperson Ryne that it would be 2-4weeks to come in and someone would call me to pick it up at the store myself or pay to have them deliver them. 3 weeks go by I call ask about the sets they tell me oh it'll be another week we'll call you . Two weeks went by no phone call I called them, then another salesman told me it's not in it takes 4-6 weeks total difference from what Ryne told me. I asked why that not what I was told when I purchased it. We went back and forth on the phone so I said forget, I'll just wait another week it can't be that bad. Here I am 2 months later still no bedroom sets that I paid for 2 months ago. I called up there today to ask for their corporate phone number oh now all of a sudden they have my furniture up there now. Then asked me when would I like to come pick it up. First of all no one called me to let me know my furniture was there, someone was suppose to call me to see if I wanted it delivered or sent to the store. I waited 2 months when I was told 2-4 weeks. I deserve free delivery and set plus some mattresses to go with it. I wanted to get my dining room set and living room set from American Freight but after this deal I would never shop with them again at least not the one in Mishawaka. Oh yeah called their corporate manager Tim he still hasn't returned my phone call yet. Poor store poor corporate office.

American Freight bedroom furniture on layaway

Put a bedroom furniture set on layaway July 2018 paid it off June 2019. Called to see if it was in stock. Was told that set was discontinued. So I was paying on something that was discontinued. When I asked why nobody told me they gave me a piss poor excuse that the girl who sold it to me quit and they couldnt go into the computer to see who her customers were. Okay... Told to come in and pick something else out. Go to store July 6th and magically the regional mgr. Chris was able to find all my furniture in other warehouses scattered. Nightstand had to be shipped from OH. He had a cocky attitude with me. Was told to give 7-10 days. Call on the 11th day the regional mgr answered the phone telling me not all pieces were there and he had to order the nightstand from OH. I asked him why didnt he order it like he said he was going to on July 6th. No real answer. Was told to give it another week and to call back. I call back again a week later not everything was in. Was told to call back on the following Thursday cause my stuff was being shipped from the Penn Hills location on Rodi Rd. Call back a week later and its STILL not in. I ask what's the deal here? Was put on hold so they could ask a mgr what's going on with my furniture. Was told they would call me back in 30 minutes. 2 hours later still no phone call. I call them and ask where is my furniture? They proceeded to tell me that they were going to deliver my stuff from the Penn Hills location to the Carnegie location the next morning and once they receive I was told it was going to be all placed aside on a pallet and I was going to receive a call once it was in. That was on Thursday August 8th. So now we are already over a month now of waiting. I received no phone call on Aug 9th. I called the store at 715pm. They close at 8. I called and asked if my furniture ever came in? Placed on hold. He comes back on and proceeded to tell me ah ma'am I'm not sure what happened but they never drove your furniture over from the Penn hills location. I said you know what, this is absolutely ridiculous! I was placed on hold again. When he came back on they offered me $50 for gas money to drive to the Penn hills location to pick up my own freaking furniture! Absolutely [censored]ing not.So I asked him who do I speak with about receiving a refund. He then put on Chris the regional mgr. Chris asked what was the problem? Ah the problem is that I've been getting the run around since July 3rd when I originally called to see if my furniture was in stock. He then told me multiple times that I have not been getting the run around. I told him yes I have cause everytime I call nobody knows where my [censored]ing furniture is at? He then started to get snobby with me. Talking over me. I'm very frustrated at this point. And then to tell me you will give me $50 for gas money to go half way across the city to pick up something that was supposed to be delivered a month ago. No ! Unacceptable. He then went on about how he pulled so many strings to get me this furniture. Well Chris it's over a month later and my furniture still ain't all there! He then got very rude with me and told me to just come there and get what we have. I told him repeatedly no. They still didn't have my headboard and footboard. He then told me again to come get my furniture. I said no! He told me to just give him a little more time on the headboard. How about NO I gave you now over a month. I told him no I want a refund for the full amount. He asked how I paid my layaway. I said by check. He said ok you will receive a check from corporate in 10-14 days. After all that I was denied free delivery multiple times. I mean that's the least this company can do is [censored]ing offer to ship my furniture for free but no. They said they had no control over that. Which I'm sure a regional mgr would have some authority. That store is absolute garbage and the reg mgr chris needs to 1. Learn how to speak to customers and 2. Learn how to speak to women properly. I've worked in customer service my whole live and he made me feel degrading. I better have a full refund coming my way $1, 281.87 like he said. Or I will get a lawyer involved. The way I was treated and given the run around nobody should ever have to go through. I will never ever ever purchase from there again. It's sad because the previous year I bought a bedroom set for my son and it was so east and I had no issues. That's what made me want to go there again for my bedroom furniture set. Never again! I am done.

American Freight reclining sofa with cup holder and charging port

I bought a sofa sectional, dinning room table, bedroom set etc spending over $4, 000.the sectional fell apart so They delivered a sofa an loveseat recliner set but sofa was missing a piece to arm said they would bring it out over 4 months ago ... since they replaced this unit because the first sofa sectional fell apart when you reclined.. this replacement has been just as bad ...the charging port cup area fell off track and screws were stripped still no reply from manager after a month sent pictures to them as requested...after two months of calling they said they had it in and would bring it out Friday the last of June still nothing I have called to get a line of bull...now the recliner on sofa is stuck and won't recline...not impressed and will never buy anything this expensive from them again... Rooms to go maybe a little more expensive but much better service and products.

American Freight ottoman

On june 8, 2019 I went in to purchase a sofa set and ottoman. I paid over $1400.00. Now at the time the ottoman was on back order and due to be in a few (2 weeks) later. I have been calling inquiring about status of ottoman and have been met with attitude by staff. I'm sorry, am I bothering you asking for the merchandise I have paid for? I have tried to contact management to which I have not been able to do or receive a call back. When I called today the girl had an attitude and told me that I cannot get a refund because it hasn't been 30 business days and I knew that when I got furniture! Ummm... No where on my receipt does it say that nor had I known about that otherwise why would I constantly be calling about my ottoman?!
Rude unprofessional company, I will never purchase anything else from them nor refer anyone!

American Freight order

I placed a 4k order at the Carnegie, PA store, on 04/17/2019. I paid up front for the Chest of Drawers, and the Bed, since I was told that they didn't have many in stock. We were not moving into our new home, until 05/08/2019. The delivery for the entire order was to be 05/11/2019. Everything had arrived, except the Chest of Drawers. #69405 Stonehill. After at least 14 calls to the Carnegie store. Being told, that I will get a call back. I never received a call back at all. Instead, I continued to call, which is where I am at now, a month + later. I do know, that this set is discontinued. I have the entire set except for this one piece. I would really appreciate someone taking responsibility for this, I really need to complete my set. American Freight customer service / bedroom set

I went in to order a glam bedroom set on sale for $605 when completed the paperwork what was ordered for me was not the same thing or price. I called asking why the total ended up being different as well as the name of the bedset I was told the name had changed bc they discontinued the one I wanted so they ordered me something similar without notice I wasn't getting what I asked for. They tell me to come back in and pick something else out. So I drive another 30 mins and everyone was rude I pick out another bed set finally bc they had nothing in stock and they tell me I have to travel to akron or pay the shipping. I will never get another thing from here it's so unprofessional

American Freight product/service

I purchased a bedroom set for my son on 4/6/19 at the Grand prairie location in Texas. They said it had to be pucker up in Dallas, went to pluck it up for home and the furniture was 2 different colors. We took the brown footboard and nightstand back as we had purchased the black set. They told us we would have latest 2 weeks and I had to call them after 2 weeks to find out where the missing furniture was and they said they were putting it in the truck for delivery that day. I waited and nothing got delivered. I called the next day spoke with manager in site and he said they don't even have the items in inventory. I asked him why they lied to me and he said it was the other manager that was in that day. They told me I could turn in the items I and get a refund but I had to call the location I paid at. I call over there and speak with the person I purchased the furniture from and she said they are not allowed to do refunds. I told her I need the rest of the parts so I can put the bed together and she tells me she is going to call around. I called her back after several hours and she said they will deliver the stuff by 8pm on 4/25/19. Here if is almost 10pm and no delivery. This company is the worst company i bought things from. Customer service sucks and obviously is full of liars. I called regional manager and left message Monday and still no call back. I paid $900 and I don't even have a complete bed to put up. 😡😡😡😠😠 They need to be shut down or hire better people. All they worried about is making the sell.

American Freight delivery service and customer service

This has been a nightmare from the very beginning! The staff is unprofessional and the delivery service is even worse! Do not purchase anything from this company. I never will again! They were supposed to deliver the furniture on 2 days ago. 2 days later, they finally came with the delivery but was missing parts. Now we are on day 3 half the day is gone and they still cannot tell me when it is being delivered. This is the most unprofessional group of people that I have met. I have spoken with the store manager, the regional manager, the delivery managers, no one has any sensible answers. I have never seen a place where no one can get anything resolved. They are all too "busy" to deal with the situation. The delivery driver hung up on me when I called him at 9:30 pm to see when he was coming back (from 4 hours ago). Finally, he says we cant come back because policy states that we cant deliver after 9pm. So when were you going to tell me that you were not coming back? This has been an extremely frustrating experience!

American Freight furniture

Please never never ever buy from these scumbags.
I spent $3, 000 dollars cash and got garbage for service.
They will not take back furniture delivered because their deliveries are by contractors and thus not liable.
Customer service manager is a teenager from Mcdonalds and just gives the runaround for any questions.Please avoid this store--the cost reflects their service and furniture.

American Freight mattress

The mattress I was given was not the soft pillow top in the show room AF006. The mattress I was given was 311511ARAF for 318 not 199 and it wasn't soft and it wasn't black like the one I choose in the warehouse. What is AR-6050 sample? I was also told the 49 would not come out of my account on the 1st but it woyld be out on the 18th of the month. Now it comes out on the 1st & the 18th, big problem. Not happy and was told I could not return it even if it was still in the plastic. Kathy Powell [protected]

American Freight bingo brown laf bump sofa and bingo brown raf sof

I purchased a sofa and an guardian vaule plan. The plan that they sold me don't cover the frame being damaged. I would like my 99.95 back and my furniture replaced. I only had my couch set one year and one month. Its been taring up for about 3 months know and with no response. The warranty they sold me only covers stains and small damages done to the couch and not the frame.

Junk for sale. Love seat is falling to pieces. Don't buy their stuff. No good.
Bought a black love seat recliner set by Simmons about 1 1/2 years ago. Comfortable but material is pitiful. Material has flaked off and looks terrible. No guarantees here and no warranty was mentioned at time of sale. Won't buy again and would not recommend.

**Update ...called Tom McMillian VP of Sales @ [protected] and left voice mail. Haven't heard a word. Scam

American Freight furniture

NIGHTMARE OF AN EXPERIENCE FROM THE BEGINNING! if you think it's a deal, its more than likely NOT worth it. Initially it took months to receive the furniture, which was the WRONG set, waited several more months to receive the correct set. Fast forward a few months and the cushion seam started coming undone, contacted them since it was under "warranty". After 6 more months and MUCH back and forth and the store employees remaining highly confused regarding any and every inquiry, and lies that the replacement would be delivered, we picked it up ourself snd get it home to find the replacement recliner is broken and it has holes in the cushion. It has been almost a year now fighting this and still not resolved. BUYER BEWARE!

American Freight dining room set

First..my. boyfriend and I had a sectional on layaway. We went a different route and wanted a refund on what we paid. We were told we couldn't get a refund but a store credit. So that was fine. We decided to buy the marble top looking dining room set and paid the difference. We were informed that there were none in stock and it would be 2-3 weeks. Ok..again..we understood. My biyfriend is a truck driver over the road. He would call to ask if the set was in..Nope! Not yet... I waited 2 weeks and it was in...however..the hardware packet was lost...I was explained it would be overnights.. So I waited 3 days and called, still no hardware..but that someone would go to Lowes and get some...ok..we again understood. I called early in the week to let them know we would be in this weekend. 9/29/2018. We go to the store, they look up the account and everyone starts scrambling..no hardware! They claimed that Lowes didn't have it. They DID give us a 50.00 credit so we bought 2 little tables..fine..now..we go to the dock to pick up the furniture. NOTHING is in the original box. The chair backs are wrapped in foam and in a lamp box. The legs are in nothing, the table top is in a box..I'm afraid to unpack it and look at it. There are NO instructions on how to put the chairs together. My boyfriend and I did take the hardware list and go to Lowes and get ALL the hardware...34.00 worth. So in the end..we only got a 16.00 credit. I do not EVER want to do business with them again..if it wasn't for this bubble pack that is included..I wouldn't even know what hardware to buy..and sadly..I can't even return this...very very pissed!

American Freight product paid in advance and was sold

Back in May of 2018 I put a 3 piece living room set with recliner on layaway along with a queen size bed only. The total came up to roughly $1100 or so I paid 884.00 which it left a balance owed of like $200 or so. I informed the salesman Craig that I was doing a remodel in my house and that I would return sometime in May to pay the remaining balance.
However, I received a called from Craig to inform me that the living room set that I ordered was no longer available. I told him that I would be in to choose another set.
Lets fastforward to August 1 2018 my husband and I visit the showroom and we decided to purchase a mattress for the bed that I had on lay away. My husband chose the mattress and we had to pay $99.76 difference of the credit that was applied to the account. We informed the Store Manager Chris that we would return on Friday to pick up the merchandise.
I called ahead and informed them that I was on my way. I was trying to proactive so that the pick up would be smooth once my husband arrived with the rental truck. I arrive at the showroom and informed the Store Manager Chris that I was there to pick up the merchandise and Chris told me to give him a moment to have the merchandise bought to the loading dock. I arrived at the showroom 30-45 minutes before my husband. After about 20 minutes of me browsing around the showroom I walk over to Chris and ask was there a problem with my merchandise. He finally says yes the mattress you chose someone sold it. At this time I look at him puzzled because my husband asked them if the mattress would be marked as sold with a name attached. Well to my surprise they sold our mattress and didn't have any in the store.
I told Chris my husband was on his way and we needed to resolve this issue before he got here. Chris says lets look at other mattresses which we started to and he showed me several however, I would have to pay almost $300 more for the other mattress. My husband arrives and Chris tells him the issue. My husband isn't happy because the mattress that he chose they assured him that it would be clearly marked and there would be no issues.
My husband is a retired military man of 28 years served change for him after you have said it would be there is a problem for him The mattresses that Chris showed him wasn't a good fit for my husband. To try and get my husband at a happy place I asked Chris about the floor model and could he reduce the amount that we paid for it because it was 600.00 well he says no. Then I saw a lamp that cost $86 and I said may I be compensated with the lamp for your mess up and he says to ask the other store manager Mo I think that was his name. He went into the computer and said the lamp was $234 but I told him on the tag its marked $86. He says oh you can pay half.
My complaint is even though I suggested the floor model that others consumers have tested by lying down on it. This floor model is considered USED merchandise. I would like to believe the floor model should have been a reduced price. Again, I asked other options to compensated for taking the floor model to please my husband because he was on the verge of cancelling the entire purchase.
Now to add insult to injury once we decided to take the floor model we had to wait another 30 minutes for the items to be bought to the loading dock and what we thought was going to take us roughly an hour to pay for the rental truck turned into 40.00.
I had to ask Chris who was going to bring the merchandise to the loading dock and then at this time calling the young man to bring the merchandise.
I am very disappointed in the lack of customer service and the lack of compromise now I compromised on my end and suggested the floor model. I feel that the price should have been reduced or a decision should have been made to compensate with the lamp that I liked.
I called your corporate office on August 3, 2018 and left a message of my concern. I received a message from Jay on August 6, 2018 who left a message that he was contacting me in reference to my complaint. I returned his call on Aug 7 at 6:45pm EST however, he hasn't returned my call. I called Jay 740.833.6397 again on August 10 at 1:31pm EST and again today August 13 at 5:41pm EST. I have left him a message requesting that he give me a call back and he hasn't returned my phone calls.
I am highly disappointed in the kind of customer service that I am not receiving from American Freight.

American Freight horrible manager

Hi I'm Ray. I just left your store here at NM. I was very happy to come on board. But I'm so sorry to say that I'm quitting. 1st of all Anton grant had told me twice to be at work at 11am. Twice he showed up late. I was there at 1045am on Monday he showed up at 11:20 . Was off Tues and Wed. ( which by the way he made me come to the store on my day off Wed, to register) Came back today. Was there at 1050am. He showed up at 1135am. 2nd me being in the furniture business 33 years, I've never experienced training and management like that. He's a bully and very rude, raised his voice at me in front of 3 warehouse men. Mocked me also in front of them. Very demeaning! He was getting upset because he claims that I didn't read the training manuel right! Talked down at me and talked at me. Watch your video at work. There is a Kelly that worked there, Yelp the same thing. I'm sorry sir but I'm very upset. FYI he smelled like alcohol

American Freight employee

I had a very horrible experience in your furniture store with you assistant manager at your Georgia location at 6796 Jimmy carter Blvd in Norcross GA. I originally came there to speak with Christopher who is an inventory specialist at the store he told me that I could come to the store between 12-5 and he would fix my order when I got there around 3:00 he was not there so Jeremey the assistant manager ended up having to help me. He became very frustrated and irritated with me because I asked about a 3 piece coffee and end table set and wanted to cancel that and get a different item. He then told me that he has other customers to help and he could not stand there with me and help. I allowed him to help another customer until I decided that I wanted to cancel my order due to his rudeness his neglect and lack of professionalism. He got so angry with me that he began yelling at me even got to the point where he called me out my name several time called me b[censor]es, hoes and even a peasant. He disclosed my income information telling me that I was broke and that he made a lot of money even went out of his way to pull up his check stub on one of the computers to show it to me and while others were in the store disclosed my income as well as how much I was approved for through the finance company. He then called the police on me as well as a girl to come and fight me telling me that he couldn't touch me but he knows someone who can. He then proceeded to call the girl and his words were can you come up here I can't touch this b[censor] but you can threatening me even told me to stay because someone was coming to whoop my [censor]. The girl came up there before the police got there and walked into the store and stood next to me as they sat and talked about me and even threatened to beat my [censor]. This is the worse experience I've ever had in a store where I am spending my money. I am at 23 year old college student with a husband who has cancer and trying to make a living as well as a comfortable home to take care of my family in and I did not deserve that. He screamed from the back of the store to the front where I was standing while handing other customers and even told the other workers not to help me. Not only are my feelings hurt I was mistreated very poorly and it's not appreciated. My parents know a lot of higher up people and I will make it my mission to get my story out and I'm sure no one will think that a grown man who is suppose to be a manager should handle a young lady like me in that manager and to degrade me and my life with all that I am going through. I want the number to the corporate I want to speak to the owner or president of this company. I am suppose to be moving on April 14, 2018 and now have no furniture. My husband is very sick and this is stuff that I should not have to deal with when I am spending my hard earned money. I will not just let this go away. I need contact information to someone who can solve this matter and I want that unprofessional man removed.
