American Eagle Outfitters aeo flex / denim slim straight blue jeans

I purchased these jeans a few months ago, I wear them once in a while on the weekends. The inside of these jeans have all of these pilling balls. As you know pilling is a surface defect of some fabrics due to washing and wear. But these jeans have not been washed more than 2-3 times. The pilling is irritating my skin and makes them unwearable.

I have never experienced this with any other American Eagle products. American Eagle are the only brand of jeans I wear, and I hope we can work out an exchange or somethig.

American Eagle Outfitters arie swimwear

Hello,
I am writing as a disappointed costumer. I have not purchased bras or bathing suits from Arie in the passed because the sizing has not been correct. Since the company has decided to market themselves in being real I gave it another try. I am a 32DD so based on the size chart I would be a M or L. I decided to get the medium because I am smaller, and even ordered small bottoms. That came and did not fit, but I knew that was possible since the chart said I could be large also. After going to the store at my mall, and receiving zero help I went online and ordered a large. It arrived today and was extremely small. I have matching bottoms in a small I should by have to return again for a bigger size. I now have to return for an extra large a size that I am not, have never been, and according to your size charts I am msot certainly not. As you can understand that is frustrating in itself. No I am even more frustrated because I tried reaching out to costumer service to see if there was anything they could do to help. The service member was extremely useless and had nothing to say other than she understands my frustration and is sorry. I have been a long time costumer but don't buy these products for a reason. I really was hopeful because of the marketing campaign that has gone in for a while. All the bra and bathing suit tops are untrue, the size charts are inaccurate, and I have decided I can no longer shop here. This is very disappointing because I love this store and love the bottoms that I have. I now have no matching top for two of my bottoms. I have received no help both in store and now on costumer service! I am so disappointed in this company.

American Eagle Outfitters jeans

I ordered two pair of American Eagle jeans over two weeks ago. I tried them on the day were received and sent them pack the very next day with shipping label I was provide and read instruction. I have contacted customer service via phone 3 times, yes three times. No one can seem to tell me where the jeans are. The last girl I got actually was eating on the phone yesterday when I called which I thought was extremely rude. I have been wearing this jeans over 12 yrs because I absolutely love them. I have never had so much difficulty trying to a refund from ordering online. I finally opened up a case with paypal at this point because it obvious no one there is able to help me. I have spent so much time on phone trying to find out about my refund, giving same tracking number. I will NO longer be shopping at American Eagle. I know you all probably don't care about that because you have millions of customers but I have spend so much money here. It's ridulous. I'm sure nothing will even happen with this complaint. It probably won't even read but if does please understand my frustration. Thank you.

American Eagle Outfitters mens flex jeans

I have been buying AE jeans for many years. I switched to another brand because the crotch and the pockets of the AE jeans would rip-out. Once the flex fit jeans came out I decided to try AE jeans again thinking they would be better since the material would stretch. I do like the flex jeans but 2 of the pairs I have the crotch has holes in them already. I wear khakis to work so I wear jeans mainly on the weekends. I am extremely disappointed by the quality and craftsmanship in the jeans. Since I have one pair that the crotch does not have holes, I hope this is an isolated incident. I really expected better quality for $50 jeans and I definitely expected them to last longer. I am simply requesting to be able to return/exchange/store credit etc for the 2 pairs that have holes. American Eagle Outfitters employee

I was shopping at the American eagle in the mall of America and I was using visa gift cards that are kind of complicated and I was trying to explain how to use it and she continued to tell me I needed to call the number because there was probably no money on the card. I told her I would call my dad and have him talk to her because he knew how to use the card and she refused to and continued to tell me I had to call the number and walked away leaving me alone at the check out. I will no longer shop at American eagle ever after this horrible customer service

American Eagle Outfitters unethical behaviour

I placed an order through there website which used my currency (CDN). I noticed they were advertising their app so I decided to check it out. I ended up placing an order through their app but noticed I was charged in USD. I couldn't change the currency on the app and was said to find out that I was charged more using the app then I was for products on their website. When I called to get this issue resolved - they just told me they would email me. I got an email a few days later and responded with my issue. I was met with this response "Online prices are based on direct, current conversions from USD to CAD, which is why the amounts may have looked different. The price you paid when your order was processed is correct. We do not have a Canadian website, but you have the option to select CAD on our US site. Thank you for contacting AE." They didn't even mention anything about their app.

American Eagle Outfitters unprofessional & rude employee

I mulled over to write a review all day until my husband encouraged me. I stopped into the Maui store today on my lunch break to grab a few jeans. From the time I arrived I was greeted by a rude girl behind the counter with a phone glued to her ear rolling her eyes after she said hi to me. I was waited to try on and couldn't find anyone else to help me except for the same rude girl. This time she glanced at me standing by the changing room then went back to texting on her cell phone. I'm sure she was working because she had a name tag and a earpiece except was completely unprofessionally rudely standing in the middle of the store texting and talking to another worker. When I tried to say excuse me she rolled her eyes and walked off as if she never noticed. I got fed up put the jeans back and left. The company should really explain to all employee what good customer service is because this girl was not it!

American Eagle Outfitters service

I arrived 20 min before the stores closing, was the only customer in the store. There were two employees working, neither one acknowledge me when I entered the store even though I said hello, offered me any assistance, or acknowledge me at all the whole 15 minutes I was in the store. I had six items in my hand to try on, one of which i specifically went to buy; however I was not offered a dressing room. They watched as I tried the items on over my clothes by a mirror. I liked many of items but decided not to purchase any do to the service provided. They did however acknowledge me to tell me which door was best to exit through. Horrible customer service. Would have spent about 200 in store.

American Eagle Outfitters american eagle woodfield mall schaumburg illinois

My daughter went yesterday to American eagle to return three T-shirt's I bought . They didn't return because they said the T-shirt's are used . So I went to the store myself and the lady at the register was doing the return when suddenly the manager jumped and in a very mean way said my daughter was returning the shirts before and to not return because are used so I was explaining to her that she took off the tags and the shirt was not used also I told her to read the policy that says nowhere that the tag has to be hanging on the shirt . Long story short she was raising her voice very mean and making faces infront of everybody at the store and other costumer ; she then said she was going to exchange I told her no I'm no and doesn't matter if are used one time or not I'm not happpen with the purchase because the neck is to open I need a refund . So she said no . I think this is not the right way for a manager to handle this and much less to treat costumer this way . My question is where can I go to solve and return the T-shirt's ?

I’m pretty sure that most stores have the same policy, I mean think of it like this, if you purchase gum and you chew a piece, and you don’t like it, are you going to except the cashier to accept your return even though you already opened and chewed a piece? Like c’mon now, how about next time you try on the items in store so that way you can be sure that you really want it. Don’t blame the people who are just doing their jobs.

Dear American Eagle asociates:

I'm pretty annoying about your on-line service. This month I tried many times to purchase in your app and in the web... all of them were very complicated to complete the transaction and after that all effort from your customer (Me) you have cancelled three times my orders successfully completed.
Additional consider the days it takes to recover the charge on my credit card.
It's very sad to know that one of you favorit stores for years... when you can't get a store nearly and you decided to buy by the "easy ways" it is disappointing.

Thanks for nothing and sorry my unkind message.

American Eagle Outfitters arie

The organization within the clearance section of Arie's underwear is tedious and impossible to understand. I had attempted to acquire my size of underwear however it was so chaotic (ie-no smalls were in the basket labeled ‘s', different sized bralettes and underwear in the same baskets even though they are labeled as priced differently ) that I eventually gave up. My two companions that were with me however stuck through that hideous process and got to the cashier's counter. The cashier then proceeded to tell us that only a very few amount of the products we selected were under the discount we wanted even though the underwear that we had picked out was all in the section labeled with that one discount. We then all went back to try and exchange the underwear to get the discount, restarting the whole process that we had already completed. We had to have an employee come back with us to price check each piece of underwear we picked out to make sure that it was under the correct discount. This could have all been avoided if the baskets were better organized and the discounts labeled were more strictly enforced. We then all went back the cashier's counter and yet again we had to return to pick out a different pair of underwear. This is an outrageous example of disorganization and must be fixed.

American Eagle Outfitters falsely accused of shoplifting

I was falsely accused of stealing 2 shirts from store inside firewheel mall in garland tx. On Saturday December 16th between 10:30 am and 11:30am I stopped at American eagle to possibly buy some shirts. I found two that I might want to try on but then decided not to cause I already know by looking at them that they probably wouldn't work as I am big chested, so I put them on a table by the front and walked out and walked straight into the Spencer's which is clearly visible from American eagles doors. I did not go to my car or have anything on me but my purse. I was wearing tight fitted clothes so if I had anything, it would be visible. I was shopping at the the Spencer's store when I was approached by the police. He asked if I had two shirts. Confused I said Umm... Not yet (I was looking at the shirts at the time) and I said why? He said, "no I mean do you have two in your purse from American eagle?" Umm... No I absolutely do not! He told be that they're saying I stole 2 shirts and walked out and that he needed to search me. Mind you, this is in front of everyone and I was humiliated! He searched everything I had and then quickly said he was sorry and to go about my day. Ohhhh noooo! I don't just simply go about my day now do I? Cause now I'm being watched and assumed to be a thief by not only American eagle, but now everyone here at Spencer's. I went back to confront manager (black lady named shi or chi or something of that nature)to see what happened when she loudly still accused me of stealing, in front of everybody saying two customers saw me put the shirts in my purse. I told her I left them right here and she said, well where are they now? (they were gone by then) I told her I didn't know. The police told her that he searched everywhere on me and found nothing. She doesn't want to admit she's wrong, but insist I'm a thief. And now I can't go back there to shop and I'm criminalized for nothing. I asked to see the evidence that I stole those shirts and she refused. Now, I'm here to say that I know my rights very well. It is not legal to accuse, detain, search or ban me for shoplifting without 100% certainty and evidence that I in fact was guilty. I need to be contacted immediately to resolve this matter because I am certainly going to persue legal action if it's not. I will file a law suit for emotional distress and falsely accused, apprehended, searched and detained under false accusations. I want the video reviewed and for that lady to apologize. I feel like I was stereotyped and my rights were violated. My email address is [protected]@gmail.com. Please contact me immediately. I am very upset! I'm so embarrassed. I am not a thief and I'm a frequent shopper at American eagle. That's all my husband wears. But now, I'm not able to go back so I guess we'll find another store. Thanks.

American Eagle Outfitters men's bracelets

How dare you take this mans bracelet off of the market because some simpleton thinks it is a reminder of slavery they do not even no what slavery is. You are denying me the right to purchase that bracelet. If it is not put back on the selves I will think about bring a suit against you and the person who made this complaint. You are a bunch of whimps in allowing this person to infringe on my rights.

American Eagle Outfitters rude and poor service

I was the only customer in the store. Staff was annoyed that I asked for help. So I looked around and then I asked the same question again. I guess I interrupted the staff's conversation. The Long blonde hair girl rolled her eyes and gave me a big sigh and walked me over to the generic space for mens jeans and said all the mens jeans are here and she just walked away. I just walked out.

American Eagle Outfitters unauthorized and unexplained credit card charges + dismissive customer service

Placed an online order of $200+ on Dec 3rd and the next day noticed there were two separate charges processed on my credit card (for the same amount). Called my bank first and they confirmed so called and spoke to a AE rep who wouldn't confirm this and only dismissed me saying "to wait a few a days for it to be dropped off"? I asked what that meant but it was just repeated to me so i asked for a manager but got a supervisor who said the same thing again (neither confirming the 2nd charge nor suggesting they will at the least look in to it).
She also said there was no one above her i could speak with. Called the head office and was put through to 'customer relations', left two messages and never got a call back. Called once again and turned out i wasn't calling another department. Needless to say i was told the same thing by another csr rep all over again and that there's nothing they can do about it. I would like to get the 2nd charged reversed and the money back in my account asap.

American Eagle Outfitters manager

i'm an employee of aerie and i was doing a transaction at american eagle and the manager, tara, was EXTREMELY disrespectful to me while i was asking questions about the transaction. I was making and exchange on jeans, and a previous employee granted me 60% off because of an error and when i went to go make the exchange, she demanded i pay the 40% off price. But i believe that it should have been an even exchange because of the previous employee error. it wasn't my fault and i should not be the one literally laying the consequences.

American Eagle Outfitters in store service

The store located in Kahului-Hawaii gave terrific customer service, that was until the workers stopped speaking English, started ignoring their non-Filipino clientele, and gave special treatment to who I assume to be the workers family or friends. The new owners are in great need of reassessing their staff or just clean house with those who lack the ability to service ALL customers!

American Eagle Outfitters polo shirts

black black polo size small shirt and one orange polo shirt size small
I would like sent to me or full refund.
I am using the two Polo's under normal circumstances and there is a hole under the buttons in the front and a large hole is the other in the back where the tag and stitching meats the shirt.

I and others I know have shopped at American Eagle stores and this is disappointing.

Or store credit of the full value.

American Eagle Outfitters jeggings

Hello, my name is Sara. A few months ago I bought a couple of jeggings because they were by one get one free. I've always loved American Eagle Outfitters, so I was amazed at what happened next. After wearing my new jeans, for maybe a couple of weeks, I noticed my jeans starting to wear between my legs. A couple more weeks, and they began to tear. I now have two huge holes in both pairs of jeans. How is this even possible when you spend that kind of money on clothes. I have always loved your jeans, but I can't spend a fortune on jeans that won't even last a year. I have spent a lot less on non-brand name jeans that have made it through the years. If I wasn't a mother of two and working two jobs; I'd go out and buy more. Unfortunately, my kids come first and can't eat jeans. I will have to buy all clothing somewhere else until your clothing is up to par. If anything, please replace these. I would like to shop there again.

American Eagle Outfitters jean size

I have always had great service and great clothing from ae and have never really had a complaint. However, recently I was in the canton westfield mall looking for jeans and they were out of my size (2 longs) and the guy told me they just got a shipment in and that my size was probably in the back but no one wanted to go look. So I spent like a half hour trying to find 2 longs in other pairs that I didn't really like and all of those were out too. Finally a girl asked me if I wanted to just order them online from the store. I waited 6 days to get them and when they eventually came I grabbed a pair to wear for the night, ripped the tags off real quick, put them on and they were the wrong size! (2 short). On the receipt both pairs said 2 longs however the pair I grabbed to wear out of the package were not that size. I had to wear them anyways bc I had no other jeans at the time. Now I just paid over 100 dollars for 2 pairs of jeans and the one pair doesn't even fit me and I can't return them. This really frustrates me because I have a credit card with you guys and spend a lot of money at ae.. I have never had a complaint before but this is very irritating. I am not able to return the pair bc they are worn and no tags now and now I am out the 50 dollars spent on them... On the plus side I do like the pair that was correct.
