American Eagle Outfitters staff members at local american eagle store

Hello, I am writing to you regarding a couple of employees that work at American eagle at Westfield mall in Trumbull, Connecticut. It was around 2:30pm yesterday, Saturday July 8, 2017, when I went into American eagle to buy some clothes and had to leave being mortified. I saw two employees, a male and an African American female, looking my way, saying something and laughing. The male was pointing to his chest, making a reference to my chest ( I admit I had some cleavage showing but it's hard to cover up completely when you're a double D and it's hot as hell outside, I will not wear turtle necks during the summer, sorry) and the girl then looked my way, laughed, and it appeared she mouthed the word "[censored]". I was extremely upset and mortified and had to leave the store immediately. I will stop shopping at American eagle if this how customers are treated and made to feel.

American Eagle Outfitters embarrassed and humiliated in the store

I am filing a complaint regarding the manager on duty on Sunday, July 2nd at American Eagle Gloucester Premium Outlet in Blackwood NJ. I was at the cashier paying for my items, with my husband and 15year old daughter. My husband asked first the cashier if we can apply for the credit card, because she didn't even ask us. So she just said yes. While processing my credit card appln, I noticed the cashier talking on her headset. Then the Manager came. Pointblank, the Manager, pointing her finger on me and asked confidently infront of so many customers " Did you take off the tag of your shirt?"...I was shocked! I said what are you talking about? I was wearing this shirt when I came in. She said 2 people told her that they saw me in the fitting room. I never used the fitting room. And yes, I was wearing an American Eagle shirt, and I showed her the bag, I bought another one, same style but different color. My husband was very furious. I asked her who are those people, she said she can't tell me. There are security cameras, did she even bother to check it first before humiliating me in front of so many customers? If she confronted me in a nice, respectful way I will never reach out to you. My husband confronted the manager when she walked to the other cashier. She's didn't even looked apologetic. 3 Cashiers are shaking their heads, not sure if its because of me or because of the manager. I was humiliated, embarrassed. I called Customer relations dept, she gave her name as Lisa. She said she will reach out to the branch and head or whoever. She asked for my address to send coupons. Those coupons will not stop us. If you are not going to do anything about this, we will file a lawsuit, Slander, Defamation. Show us the security camera to prove that I shoplifted. And I am not stupid! If I took and wore that shirt intentionally, why would I still show my face in front of so many people! We are not stopping until you do something about this. By the way, I regret not asking the name of the manager. But when I got home, I called the branch. I asked for the manager and the person on the other line said she is the manager. She said her name is Dee Sharp. This happened last July 2nd, Sunday around 3:00pm. We will be waiting for your response. Thank you.

American Eagle Outfitters poor/rude customer service

On 6/27/17 I asked the customer service rep at the front counter if the items on the back wall that didn't have a sticker sale price tag were also included in the 60% off sale. He rudely retorted back, "yeah, that's why they're on the back wall." This is the third time I've been to this American Eagle and been treated with such disrespect. I may not come back again, since my business is so unimportant to them they can't answer a simple question respectfully.

American Eagle Outfitters false advertisement

I visited American Eagle Outfitters on 06/04/17. The sign at the front of the door said "All men's and women's tees and tanks $15" at the bottom of the sign in fine print it stated "*Excluded clearance items", obviously. When I went to check out, the shirt I was purchasing, which stated it was a Tank right above it, was not on sale. It was regular price. I stated to the cashier what the sign said and another associate came over and said that it was certain items and that it said it on the sign. I let it go and when I was on my way out I stopped to read the sign again and no where on the sign did it say "certain items". I walked back in and made it clear to both associates and they apologized and told me to make a complaint as I am doing now. I really hope I don't have to run into a problem like this again where a big company is publicly displaying false information.

American Eagle Outfitters aeo jeggings

I recently purchased four pairs of the AEO jeggings all in different colors because I love the way American Eagle pants fit me. However, this time around (on all four pairs) the zipper seems to always fall down. I try to pull it up as much as it goes to prevent this, but I doesn't work for more than 10 minutes. I would love a refund if at all possible on these jeggings due to the fact that I can hardly wear them in public without the fear of my zipper falling down!
My email is km.[protected]@hotmail.com and my phone number is [protected]
Thank you for your time and consideration,
Katie Noble

American Eagle Outfitters unethical behavior

I went into the Rockaway Mall in New Jersey to get a new pair of pants after my jeans had ripped, they had also begun to feel really big and fall down a lot. I bought the same pair, the same fit, the same wash, the same size (just to be safe). When I put them on the next day, they didn't fit (I'm talking like stomach in pain because they were so tight not fit), so I went back in the hopes of exchanging. When I did so, I asked the manager, Brielle, if they had changed their sizes and she told me, "No, they changed the fabric though so you have to find a pair that actually fits you instead of trying to squeeze into smaller sizes." She then walked away. I think it would benefit your company to hire people who aren't rude. But that's just my opinion.

American Eagle Outfitters jeans

I have been shopping here for years, I have an open active credit card as well, every pair of jeans I purchase within a year the butt rips out of them. One time out of 8 they have exchanged them for me. They will only exchange them if they still have that style in their store. The one they did change out for me they didn't have the size I needed and didn't search for any in other locations for me. As much as we pay for one pair of jeans they should last us longer than one year!

American Eagle Outfitters gift card

Hello,
I just recently received a $50 gift card for my birthday and I went to go buy some items offline and my total cost was only $36.92 and it would not let me pay for it because it kept saying that there wasn't enough balance on the gift card. The person who I received the gift card from said they had purchased it brand new. I was just wondering why this is happening. I was wondering if you could tell me why this is happening and if it cannot be fixed, if you could add the rest of the money on the card.

American Eagle Outfitters customer service

You have an employee named Kimberly Howard that works for your store in Centerville, GA. Just thought you would like to know that she has been using company time to carry on shenanigan's with a married man. She has him come to the store to see her while she is working and she will leave the store to go out into the food court with him. This incident happened on April 26th and April 27th.

American Eagle Outfitters behavior problems

I was shopping in SoHo on 4/15/17 with my daughter and went into the dressing room with her. I was very loudly yelled at by a sales person (AA5887)
to leave the dressing room immediately. I told her that I was her mother, she replied that she didn't care who I was . She also checked my husband out with our purchases and was very rude to him about working with his credit card. I also sat on a stool after I was ejected from the dressing room and a sales person (Sue) yelled at me for sitting on the stool that was not meant for sitting. I have arthritis in my knees and just wanted to rest . I have shopped for years at A.E. for both my son and daughter and have never been treated like this experience. Customer service should not be out of "style" or maybe it is in SoHo

American Eagle Outfitters corporate office

I purchased almost $1000 worth of clothing through American Eagle in a 2 weeks period. One shirt was defective color wise after wearing one day after I received the order. I returned it but never got a refund, no explanation, no shirt, no money, no communication from AE.com. I called corporate and got the worthless customer service supervisor who told me the shirt tag item number doesn't match my order receipt and that it was manufactured in 2015. Like I was trying to return a shirt I wore for 2 years. I tried explaining that all they have to do is look at the picture of the shirt on my order that I placed only 1 week prior and this particular shirt didn't even exist in 2015. It was a new item but he just kept repeating the same thing. So they keep my money and the product because their manufacturing plant made an error when sewing in the tags. Nothing like accusing a customer that spends A LOT of money in their stores of fraud. They'd rather lose thousands in sales in a year rather than refund $30.00. And nothing like accusing a customer of fraud! Then the supervisor refused to transfer me to someone else higher up. He's the top...really a CS supervisor is the top of the company? I called 4 additional times in 4 days and was assured that someone would call me back who was above him because his answer was not satisfactory to me. Never heard back...no product, no refund. Since when is it the customer's responsibly to eat the cost of a manufacturering error? LOST A LOT OF MONEY PISSING OFF THIS MAMA!

American Eagle Outfitters staff conduct

I was shopping with my 8 year old sister at the Katy Mills location in Texas. We decided to stop into AE. Shortly after we walked in my sister fell over a clothing rack and hurt her back. I was only going to be a minute. I wanted to see a shirt a noticed on a mannequin. So I let her sit on the corner of the table since she had mild pain in her back. Mind you she was not sitting on merchandise nor was she in anyone's way. One associate came over and asked her not to sit on the table. I explained that she fell over the clothes rack and hurt her back and that I would only be a minute. She went to get the manager. The manager very rudely came over and said she can't sit on the furniture. I also explained the situation to her and said I'm just looking for my size in this one shirt and I'll be done shortly. From neither associate did I get an apology for her fall or concern for her well being. I expect better from retail associates. And I do not plan on returning to any American Eagle after today.

American Eagle Outfitters corrupt management

I am currently a ex employee at American eagle outfitters located red deer, AB. Store # 1011. I been working for aeo for nearly 2 years and have experienced a new managment team. Im making this report on behave of what i have seen and experienced under the managment of steven and kevin (assistant and store manager.) Since thier arrival i have noticed how sexist, innapropriate and judgmental they are. I have first handly heard them talk poorly about how some of the girls i work with look. Theses insults were mostly tagreted at the girls weight and how they choose to wear thier makeup. Saddly none of the girls i work with have come up to say anything because they are affraid of losing thier jobs. I do have proof of steven physically attacking one of my co workers by pushing and scratching. Steven and kevin also party with thier employees which is against the rules. They mainly go every Friday/saterday to Hudson's pub located in downtown red deer. I have been asked but denied. I unfortunately do not have the texts anymore but it wouldnt be hard to get proof.
I currently put my 2 weeks in and since have not been given shifts. This complaint is on behave of my and others human rights to work in a safe and comfortable environment.
Thank you for your time. If anymore information on the subject is needed please call or text me at [protected] or email at angela.[protected]@gmail.com.

American Eagle Outfitters service

04/07/2017
store 00592
slip # [protected]

terminal # [protected]

I came to American Eagle Outfitters to purchase belt for my father. This store has a wide variety of quality merchandise + team members are always on top of their performance.

After choosing the belt, I picked 2 more dresses and headed for the fitting room. I waited for about 5-10 minutes for anybody to come and open the door, this did not happen. I wanted to try my dresses, get the belt, do a quick check out, and go out of the store. On top of that, I wanted to use restroom facility.
It was about 8:40 p. m., I went around the corner next to fitting rooms to check whether there was any employee available to open the door for me. Nobody was there. However, I saw the restroom, and due to the fact that my bladder was extremely full, I went inside of that restroom. I left picked clothing outside of the room. As soon as I sat down to urinate, I heard knock on the door, and voice telling me that “you are not allowed to use this restroom, I am calling the security”. Obviously, I came outside almost right away and saw a store employee. My fingers were shaking, and I felt disturbed.

I saw the girl who told me that. I said that I was sorry, but I was just using the bathroom; and it is not right to say it to the customers; however, she can call the security. Then I added that I left clothing items outside of the restroom. She mentioned that it was employee area and I was not allowed there. There were no signs. No doors. Nothing that would indicate that. Hence, I honestly did not know that this bathroom was only for employees. I told her that. She said that it is the store policy. Once again, there were no signs, no doors, which would indicate that.
Once again, I did not feel comfortable after this incident. I did not hear any apologies and nobody in my life ever told me “you are not allowed to use it, I am going to call the security”.
Afterwards, I tried the dresses, left them in the fitting room (I liked them, I just did not feel like I had to continue shopping anymore) and proceeded to check out. Earlier mentioned employee was there. She told me to wait and called another cashier to the cash register. One young and polite guy came. He provided an excellent service for me.

I like American Eagle Outfitters, and I never experienced anything like this before. Therefore, I thought that this issue had to be addressed.

Thank you for you time and consideration

American Eagle Outfitters jeans

My daughter and I both just bought new dark jeans and they smell horrible! We have washed them 3 times and they still stink. Looking online people have said it is probably formaldehyde which is cancerous. I've been shopping at AE for 20 years and have never had such an issue. We would both like a refund or a return and a Corrective Action for how you are working on this problem.
Thanks,
Rebecca

American Eagle Outfitters poor product

I bought my daughters two pairs of khaki jeggings for school uniforms in September. Since I bought them I have returned them six times a piece. they have ripped in the belt area and around the seat. My girls are wearing the right size and are being careful about where they pull them up. I wash them according to the label as well. I am returning two of the pairs tomorrow for the seventh time. I have bought many clothes from you in the past and have hand these pants handed down through my girls without any issue. They need them for school uniforms and appreciate the ability to return them when this issue requires it but I shouldn't have to return them at all. I'm very sure I won't be buying them for the girls for the next school year. The pictures of the pants below where just returned 3 weeks ago. Any questions you may contact me at [protected]@comcast.net

American Eagle Outfitters nasty support

I wanted to order a pair of jeggings from American Eagle and I wanted to used my discount coupon. I received a promo code from American Eagle and it seemed like a great deal. But their site did not allow me to use the code. When I contacted American Eagle support service I was expecting some help, but they only said that I need to try again and maybe this time it will work. But it didn't. Then they said that I can buy jeggings without the discount because the price was not high. What a joke! Who allowed them to decided what is high price and what is not! I refused to buy. These people are ridiculous and they need better training, very nasty support.

American Eagle Outfitters online order

Didn't mean for order to be placed but website was not responding, i had full internet connectivity etc.
Order submitted, I immediately started live chat to cancel order. Was told can't cancel expedited order (2day) it had been less than 5 minutes from the time the order processed. No cancellation and the money already shows as pre auth in my bank.
Agent offered no full resolution I kept complaining and she offered to send a free return label?

What the hell? this is the second time in three weeks that AE has sadly disappointed me.
Last time was at the store, used credit card and gift card, then added item at the last minute, cashier has us cancel transaction on pad, but when she added new item to the order it erased the gift card and they couldnt get it added back, the manager couldnt get a hold of corporate customer service to resolve so WE had to wait then call back and they couldnt help us then we finally got to the right department she reissued the card but it had original balance of $30 but we were told it was not $25? This process took 5 days to resolve.

Unbelievable!
