Caller left an automated message stating I have won a luxury prize. If I'm interested, have three hundred dollars and believe it's a legitimate offer respond to phone call. I called [protected]. I was told this is CPA pure claims department. The first person I talked to claimed to be Gorden Lewis from American Dreamers and I won a second place award of $825, 000 Bank of America certified check that would be awarded after I send them $300.00 money gram. Next I talked to a Jason Adams, head of finance dept. from [protected]. I was told to send money gram to Ysabel Teresa Pinto Martinez, Panama City, Panama., then call the direct line [protected]. I googled this so called company and they used to send out counterfeit checks now they are calling people. I just want these scammers to stop calling me from all these different places. Caller id says these calls came from Ohio.
Yeah, I got a call from Jason Adams with American Dreamers Sweepstakes was told that I won the second prize of $825, 000. Send them $300 for the admin fess and delivery and they would send me the check. LOL They had the nerve to call back to follow up and see why I had not sent the $300 yet. Jason Adams claimed he was from the Consumer Protection Agency Finance Department. The address they gave me to use was:
Eric White, 10 Main Street, Atlanta, Georgia 30301. I told him the Consumer Protection Agency is in Seattle Washington. He tried to convince me that they were everywhere. Then he called me back again to tell me he needed to call me on a recorded line if I didn't want the money he needed it to be recorded that I refused the check. WOW people. Please don't fall for this mess.
I got a call this am and they called back 8 times .was told I could press 9 and never hear from them again, didnt work still called me .mr Jason Adams wants me to send western union 300.00 and fees for them to realsie my sweep satkes winning of 825.000.00 .gave me all the info, but didnt even mention if who I was, and who he was talking to, so I googled this and found out it was indeed a scam, which I already knew up front when I was told I needed a 300.00 fee before release of my winnings ...so sad people believe these scammers
