The same thing happened to me as in the other e-mail. I ordered a product and returned it within the time to discontinue any more charges and they charged my account twice in September and October and I called seven times with no satisfaction just a run around with different numbers telling me to call another number. I have e-mailed them with copies of their fraudulent charges to no avail. They need to be put out of business. I will continue and contact the better business bureau.

I am SENDING ALL 3 envelopes back to you and I am REQUESTING A REFUND < PLEASE! My OLD e-mail address is: diamondgirl137@comcast.net. MY NEW e-mail address is: c.lock137@comcast.net. They have withdrawn money from my account and I never even ordered anything from their website. Have no idea how they got my bank information. I had to close my bank account because of all the unauthorized debits on my account.

I ordered the amazon diet for a trial the next thing I know is that they are withdrawing 49.99 out of my checking account, so i called there so called customer service and they were no help at all, so I emailed them that I wanted a refund ( never received a product) still no responds. One week later much to my surprise they took another 58.93 from my account, Which cost me another 31.00 overdraft fees and caused me to have to close my account, which now I have to order new checks which is going to cost me more money. SOMEONE NEEDS TO PUT A STOP TO THESE SCAMMERS!

I signed up for a free trial of their product and cancelled at the end of the free trial on 7/23/08 and cancelled it on 8/10/08 and on 8/11/08 they access with a check #311 in the amount of $149 .90.
A few days later I received three containers of pills, I returned the pill(4 bottles including the trial) and email them for my refund of $149.90. I emailed them several times (that was the only way to contact them) for the refund, once I was told I would receive it in 7 days, which never happen.
Finally after 4 emails I received a check for $110.45 on 10/16/08.
I deposited the check on 10/21/08, but, unfortunately the check bounced (NON SUFFICIENT FUND)
Now I have pay a fee for that

I took part in a survey through Panda Research for the Amazon Diet. I recieved there product used it for a few days and had to stop due to a bad reaction. I e-mailed them told them to cancel and not send any more, I then got my bank statement stating they had withdrawn $ 149.00 from my account. Then I recieved a notice from the post office stating that they had tried to deliver a package from amazon diet and if it wasn't picked up it would be returned. I e-mailed Panda research who gave me the e-mail to amazon I e-mailed them back. They told me they never recieved my e-mail cancelling it. I then got there phone number talked to a person named Shaun who told me that if I wrote a letter and sent back the bottle and they recieved the returned package I would get my money back. I did all of the above. I continued to call and e-mail I could then never get through to a person just a recording stating all represenatives were busy stay on the line. I did that numerous times stayed on up to one and a half hours on speaker phone and never got through. Then I started getting a busy signal and finnally just no answer. I am looking into going to the TV station and seeing if I can get help through them. In these times or any times $149.00 dollars is a lot of money and how many other people have they done this to. I can not get any help from Panda Research either so they are guilty of not looking into what there company is asking there customers to do . I did this survey for them and thety refered me to a fradulant company. All of these people need to be put out of bussiness. I have asked to be taken of of Panda researches list I do not want to participate in anything with them . I sent it to the proper adress given in there e-mail but they also continue to bombard me with requests to participate in more surveys what do we as consumers have to do to get these people out of bussiness

I signed up for a FREE trial (plus S&H) with Amazon Diet, cancelled the membership within the trial period by phone (once) and by email (twice), and returned the unused product with the specified time period. Amazon Diet made an unauthorized charge of $149.90 to my bank account 7 days after my cancellation request and shipped me another order. All I get from this company is the run around via email and phone. Anytime I call them, I get some rude man who speaks very little English, but is very good at continuing to give me the run around. I complained to the Better Business Bureau, which prompted Amazon to make a "checks in the mail" promise. Two weeks later, I have yet to receive the refund check. I find it very interesting that it only took them from the 11th of the month to the 14th of the month to make the unauthorized charge to my account, process the unauthorized order, and ship the unauthorized order half way across the United States, yet weeks later I still do not have my refund! Guess they have gotten good at this scam over the years...
BUYER BEWARE - Stay away from Amazon Diet, or it will cost you!

Hi everyone, Teresa here .. AND I ALSO GOT THAT FREE TRIAL. For both the facelift and the diet pills. Which I cancelled in time, both by email and by phone ! I didn't catch the charges for months and wonedered why I was over-drafting by so much each month ..so when I got that RUN AROUND again .. HERE IS WHAT I DID TO END IT.

I ACCIDENTALLY ON PURPOSE "LOST" MY DEBIT CARD and reported it STOLEN ..when the bank reissues you a new card the old #'s are NO good and that card can't be used to rack up another charge .. NO MORE charges ..LOL.. BUT that damn product still comes to my mailbox ! S.O.B. ! There are NO charges on my account though anymore. I don't know what they are thinking .. I get the stuff FREE now .. And I know I lost hundreds to those people.

I just give the crap away now .. I hate that 20 minute facelift stuff, and the pills make me too jittery.

I've got one better. I cancelled my trial before it was over. The next week the withdrew another $149.99, and never shipped another supply. After two months of calling repeatedly they gave me another number to call. Several attempts later I recieved a check in the mail for my refund. But the next month my bank said the account did not have sufficient funds, took the money back out, and charged me a fee for their check that bounced! I am still SOL

I was told I was getting a free sample and paying only the shipping by a check from my checking account with a check number (such as #2280). Item arrived and had no affect but also no contact info. A few weeks later they issued check to themselves FROM MY ACCOUNT without my authorization for $ 149.90 which my bank took from my account. The phone number on the check is constantly busy. My bank can not stop this company from issuing future checks as they use different names. They have also used the name Momentum Direct and left a web address that does not work. I was told I would have to cancel my checking account to prevent this happening again.

They are using your checking account like an auto pay with a credit card! THIS IS A SCAM.

I bought the sample for $4.74. It came at a bad time when I had no money. I have been waiting for disability for four years and could not afford to spend needless money. Then it got worse, they took $149.90 and then my checks started to bounce like a rubber ball. I had to close my accoount. Its ok they are riding the Karma train.

I have never in my life been so unsatisfied with a company. I ordered the free trial and being naive I gave them my acct number thinking that they would be honest and only charge me for the shipping and handling. After receiving the pills I found that they didn't have a list of ingredients on them and I wanted to know what was being put in my body. I sent them back in the mail unopened the following day. 2 weeks later I notice I am overdrawn on my checking acct. Then I realize that Amazon Diet took $149.00 out of my acct w/o my authorization. I have tried to call the phone number that I was given and now it is disconnected.

Dont order from this company! Now Ive been calling them and there phones dont work or they never answer them.

Momentum Direct stole $149.90 from my checking account causing me $300.00 in overdraft fees. I ordered Amazon diet on 08/08/2008 for $4.74 and cancelled the 14 day trial on 08/19/2008 and returned the product to:

Momentum Direct Returns
1010 S. Magnolia Blvd.
Magnolia, TX 77355

The company then debited my checking account on 08/29/2008 for $149.90 without my consent or knowledge. I called amazon diet [protected]) on 09/04/2008 to dipute the charge and spoke to a guy named Nick who was obviously from India. Nick assured me if I faxed my bank statement to them, they would refund the charge and the overdraft fees. I faxed my statement the same day and when I called to confirm they received it, I spoke to Mac, also from India, who assured me they had received it and I would receive a refund in 10 days. I then called again on 09/15/2008 to check the status of the refund and spoke to Michael, also from India, who said I would have to speak to the accounting department [protected]). I have been calling the "accounting department" for 5 days now and they never answer the phone and they do not return your call when you leave a message. Now magically I can't even reach anyone at the first # I had been calling. Either they don't answer at all or an Indian representative answers and says they are not amazon diet and I have the wrong #. I've explained to several representatives that I have used this same # to reach amazon diet and they either hang up or they just keep repeating that I have the wrong # and that they are either 2-day slim down or 20 minute facelift, relying on there broken english to distract from giving any sort of real explanation or human response. So needless to say I have not received any refund and it doesn't look like I am going to.

This company has already been prosecuted by the Texas Attorney General and Harris County District Court issued an asset freeze and temporary restraining order prohibiting Momentum Direct, L.L.C., and its owners, Robert B. and Christopher M. Jones, from making unauthorized bank account withdrawals from customers who attempted to cancel their orders, or who did not desire the defendants’ products in the first place.

If you have been scammed by this company through any of these offers:

amazon diet
2-day slim down
20 minute facelift

please file a complaint with www.bbbonline.com and with www.oag.state.tx.us the more complaints they have the more action will be taken. I can't believe Robert B. and Christopher M. Jones can live with themselves stealing from people the way they do. If anyone in Texas knows these disgusting monsters please let them know what ### they are.

If a company offers to send you a free trial and asks for your checking account routing and account number, don't give it to them unless they are a reputable company. Amazon Diet is NOT a reputable company and I was very foolish to give them my routing and account number thinking they would only take out the shipping and handling charges for the FREE trial order. Since they electronically debited my account without my authorization the second time for $149.90, I filled out a form at the bank stating this was not authorized and they credited back my account. Of course I had to close that account so this company does not try to take more money from me. If money is taken electronically, there is a trail the bank can follow and get the money out of the account it went to. The person at the 800 number told me a check would be mailed for the refund and of course I never got that check. I haven't heard back from the bank but I hope the Feds put a stop to this company's fraudulent practices.

I have been holding for a customer service agent for quite a while to cancel this free trial and no one has answere yet. I keep hearing the same message every 5 seconds,
"thank you for calling the amazon diet, the next available agent will be with you shortly, thank you for your patience"... over and over and over and over ... it's very aggravating. :(

On July 2, 2008 I took the bottle of remaining capsules for Amazon Diet to the United States Post Office and bought a mailing envelope to mail it back to Amazon Diet at the Magnolia Texas address. I put an authorization/confirmation number on the outside of the envelope just as "Alan" instructed me to do. Today, July 14th, I got a courtesy call from my bank telling me I am overdrawn and will be charged $30 per day if I don't cover the $149.90 that Amazon had debited from my account. I called the Amazon toll free number and waited an hour for Alan to answer. He said the company would not electronically credit my account. They will mail me a check for $149.90 in two weeks. I told Alan I want a confirmation email from the company that this money will be refunded. I also told him I am going to file a complaint with the Attorney General of Texas and the Federal Trade Commission. This company is dishonest and the people who operate this scam business should be fined and put in Federal Prison. Who knows how much money they have taken from people's bank account without authorization. I wonder if they file an income tax return and report their income to the IRS. That's another branch of the government I will notify.

I honestly do not even remember going to momentumdirect.com or having any sort of interest in diet pills back in October but I remember signing up for something. Within the next 2 months they had taken out various amounts from my debit card and the number that was on the "electronic" check that they used to scam my account changed on each check and I could never reach them. Finally, the bank refunded me for suspicious activity and I had to freeze and then later close my bank account. I finally got a hold of the company through my bank and they promised my account was closed and a refund was completed. They were full of crap because they continued to try and debit money when my account was frozen and had blocked them. Last week, I was shipped 2 bottles after they had told me they were not going to send out anything. This has been such a pain in the ###, so I must say to anyone ordering it online... DO NOT!

I ordered the trial version, and it was just supposed to be a small charge for shipping. Then I guess if you kept the product or wanted more, you were automatically enrolled in the program and they would send out more each month and charge your account. Before I even got the product (took 2 months and I FINALLY got it) they charged my account over $50 right away. It was disguised as a check. I had to go to the bank and they were able to research where it came from and got a contact number for me.

I called the company and demanded my money back. They told me they would give me a refund within two weeks for the amount plus shipping since I never received the product at the time. A MONTH later I called again and asked the status of my check. The guy said they were processing it that day! I called again a week later and asked them if they were going to refund me my money. Before I got through that last time I heard a voice recording about how the lines were busy, and it has been the same guy's voice the entire time! I could tell because he has a whiny sounding voice with an accent. I think this is a very small company scamming people over. I hope to god I get my money back. Than guess what? Yesterday I get the bottle of Amazon diet in the mail. I hope they didn't send that out instead of my money!

I'm going to keep on calling until I get my money. I am also going to go to my bank and see if it is possible to block this company from charging my account. I haven't been charged again since that, but I don't want to take any chances since I see other people have been getting charged over and over.

This is an absolute SCAM! I have been charged over $100.00 ( 3 different times and also different amounts?) They also use check #'s that were never given to them, so it's screwing up my bank account!

I always get the runaround and they tell me that my refund will be sent and never is. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!
I got into this mess by trying to get a free Macy's card that I never got, and I am also going to contact them about this fraudulent company that is giving them a bad name too.

Your absolutely right. I signed up for a free trial and I never received anything and within a 30 day period they made three separate withdrawals from my bank account (all different amounts) even after I had called them and they swore that my account with them was cancelled and no more withdrawals would be made. I reported them to my bank, the BBB and I made several phone calls to the company. I did receive a full refund, but it wasn't without some effort on my part. I say if your interested in this product by it directly and don't use your bank account. I couldn't tell you if the product actually works because I never received it.

This company is has more than the Amazon diet. They also have a face lift cream. Im getting busted on both. I signed up for both FREE TRIALS. I didn't even open up the products and I sent them back as soon as I got them, becasue I really didn't want to use them. My account went form $50 to $-70 in one week. These people are scams. They are going to keep charging and charging becasue they didn't leave me any custmer service numbers or anything.
