Never buy items which are less than 5 years business history in India. You should buy always those brands which are having consumer history of atleast 20 years and must have enough sales and service outlets through out India.
If they have many enough service outlets, then check weather they are alive and serving the customers still in satisfactory manor.
Now a day any one who has got 1 or 2 crores starts a factory with some foreign company to whom you do not know.
They are not in good terms with Indians due to non payment of their royalty so they stop their product technology.
Even if you have to pay 200 /300 more, go for branded products who clearly publish their maximum prices on the web site, genuine warranty or warranty, service after sales and repair facility.
Do be hurry in paying them fast.
Regarding warranty, every Indian product company DEALER is crying when it comes replacement or repair of the product. Though its free from the company, , including handling, he will not let you go free. he will at least charge you Rs.500.
Always insist on warranty complete free, not agreed, ask him to write it on warranty card, not agreed, kick his product and come out.
I always insist on pack box policy, and warranty on my terms or I leave the showroom.
Keep checking the websites, register your product on their company site. so that you avail this warranty through out India. Always check for manufacturing date. Never buy more than 3 months manufactured products. Prices are always 'Inclusive of all Taxes, levies and duty, excise charges' etc. Prices are always same through out India.
Ask the dealer to show company price list authorized by the company with company stamp with effective date otherwise they bluff you like any thing.
Always make a supplier or dealer to come his knees in, make him beg you to buy his products.
Even you do not, he has to give product information, otherwise his dealer ship will be in danger, especially when its in collaboration with foreign companies.
Never agree with warranty or garranty written on the cash bill. Ask him to fill and stamp the W/CArd comes with the product.
Hope this much info is sufficient for you.
Since I am Muslim its my prime duty that I do not want my any Indian fellow be cheated by any illiterate Millionors for his hard earned money
Be Indian Buy Indian.
