Always Vigilant Security Training Before you waste* your money, Just read this first

Before you decide to call this company for a "job", just read this FIRST.
This company is named as Always Vigilant OR they could be called AAIS Security Incorporated OR Urban Dynamics Inc ... they have changed their name several times. Please read this... this "job" will cost you over 1/2 a grand of $. Yeah, ...read this.

I want to give you a warning before you pay any money to this place. Seriously. Read this and watch how accurate my experience is to other people who have been here.
Let me clarify, when you call this place, you are not getting a job. You are actually calling a company that is a security training school**** But they wont tell you that...

They do not tell you this. All they tell you over the phone is this, you ready? Once you speak about wanting an interview for a job they say:
"Ok your appointment is ~~~~~. We need you bring $100 when you come. IS THAT GOING TO BE A PROBLEM?"******

You might wonder why $100. Perhaps it's for the uniform you will be using, you might think. Nope. they won't tell you why until you come... THEY WILL ALWAYS ASK ANYONE WHOSE INTERESTED FOR A INTERVIEW FOR $100. Always. Call with someone else deeping your voice and ask for an interview and they'll say:
"We need you to bring $100 when you come. WILL THAT BE A PROBLEM? ...if only someone would of warned me about this place...

You get to Always Vigilant and wait for the person to "interview" you. They ask you why you think you'd be good as a security guard or working at a desk in a building.. Blah blah blah. Then they ask do you have a high school diploma/GED? Blah Tattoos/Piercing. Official question: "How is your appearance? You look sharp clean ok" Blah Blah then the next question is "Do you know any other languages? OH you do, that's good"
****Once they stop asking you questions: They give you a potential "price range" of what you might get paid based on your qualifications. This price range is exaggerated. They say:
"Based on your qualifications, you can make $13-$16 an hour!"

OH YEAH REALLY? This is over exaggerated. A security guard that starts off makes $10 an hours because you have NO experience period. They lie. They interviewer may even tell you that there's a "GOOD READY" job you can get immediately with you qualification BUT****** the job won't be available for long, that the company searching for security guards is only waiting till 2 weeks later and you could work there if you take these classes and get your training done before then.

Here's where the $100 comes into play. This interviewer is gonna tell you, in order to get a job that pays $XX amount of money, you need a security licenses and in order to get that you need to take these classes the interviewer will now present to you. Blah Blah blah
Total cost = $398 (That's the "discount" price, they put too columns of prices too make it seem like you saving money, nice marketing technique) this includes an 8 hours training handbook, 16 hour training + handbook & Fireguard + handbook (*********Listen... you can get this book at metrotech for free... these guys charge for a "class" wow)
+ PLUS also $40 application fee (non-refundable... how convenient)
= TOTAL cost is $438

Let me continue on what they will do to you . You just brought $100. "Can you bring $338 by the beginning of you next class?"

At this point, you feel like a sucker for bringing in $100 and now you need to being $338 before your next class... but hey for a job that promises $16dollars an hour, i guess you need to invest some money to make money right? NO. Please don't fall for them... I paid.

Took the classes. The teachers were very unprofessional. The people that work there are rude. I honestly wished I never wasted my money here. I spent my money to hear about a teacher talk about his life as a security guard and other nonsense.

If you just recently paid, YOU CAN GET YOUR MONEY BACK. The $100 you brought is non-refundable but you can get the $338 back. Look at your contract. I suggest you do that if you already enrolled. Believe me, you will benefit greatly if you just lose $100 as opposed to losing $438+... and the reason I say plus is because there are other cost that you need to pay for to be a security guard. WHAT?!?! YEAH there's more. Not from them, but to NY State. HEY READ THIS!

This company doesn't tell you about the money you need to pay for fingerprinting ($105) you need to do that NY State mandatory tells you to do in order to become a security guard,
They don't tell you about the money you need to pay ($36) NY State Department for your security licenses,
They don't tell you about the money it cost to pay to take the Fire guard test ($25)

Add it up. This is a $604 "investment". More like a rip off.

Lastly let me explain the "guaranteed" job placement. They tell you that at your last day of classes, you need to come in a business suit and ready for your interview so you can get placed for work. Last day of classes come and hey, no job placement? They say:
"Next week on this day is your job placement appointment" Really? I thought you said it was my last day of classes. Alright you appointment day comes, and they tell you to go to a room where 30 people are in the room too.

Surprise! That's comforting to see everyone you took classes with plus some other people. These job placement people are completely disrespectful. They guy comes in cursing and just yelling at the class saying how we won't get jobs because we can't follow directions. ...What just happened i don't understand. I didn't pay money to get yelled at and so you can try to lower myself to your "presence"

Lets skip to when you go to your person, FIRST they don't interview you, they just hand you some papers, 5 papers more or less which are job references... to the companies that can hire you
Its not what you think...**** You get so excited you came this far!
You go to these companies and WTF? This is another job placement company! whoa hold the phone, i thought i was gonna get a job, nope they interview you to see if you will get a job.

WHOA WTF#2: the people from your class are ALSO here... Are you kidding me? They gave us all the same locations... basically all the same locations... This isn't job placement. Always Vigilant doesn't give you job placement, it gives job referrals. That pissed me off so much... In the little room we were in, no one came back into the room to share the "unique" locations to work because we thought it's a location chosen for "ME", when little did we know, we all got sent to the same spot.

If you read this and enrolled in the class, this is a heads up and get your money back, or whatever money you can get back. Don't get fooled if your teacher comes in and says:
"Well that review online is for Always Vigilant, we are called XXXXXX (fill in whatever they want to call themselves now) If the address is2 East 42nd St, this is the place I'm talking about. Now think... don't be fooled and let your fellow classmates know about this. You honestly waste your $. People need to expose this place...

I've included a pic the contract and blanked out areas for obvious reasons. This is just to show you what it looks like

I went in for an interview on my lunch break from my crapy job. I was excited by the time I got back in because I was told that I was guarenteed a job paying $18 an hour after I completed my training. Of course I had to scrap the money up because I didnt have it to even pay my son tuition for school. Oh let me mention I was completly honest with the interviewer and told him I have a felony backround and he told me as long as it is violent I would be fine, I said you sure he said yes. I said Ok so you mean I got a job he said you can smile now you got a good job now, you can quit and start work by next week. So now do you see why I was so excited when I got back to my crapy job. Well little did I know all the talk was ###...WOW shocked the hell out of me. Had no idea people could be so cruel, like you let me quit my job to promise me something better. SMH! I called several times to speak to someone and they direct me to the recruiter and he promises to call me back and never get a call from him. So now its up to me to make this lisence work for myself. I paid my damn money for this ### and I am going to make sure I find me a good job with or without Always Vigilant.

Its a Fake place please people ... do no go for the interview. They will rip you off. Usually ppl find their ads on craiglist or other sites... you would even get call from a person ...and notice that the call would be from an cell phone number [protected] etc)... they will tell you to bring 80 dollar with you and if you pass and the background check you are good to go with the job...

When you go there that when you know the real deal.

FROM EXPRIENCE:

I went there nervous just like other people thinking its a real interview... and they have a lot of people interviewing and lot of people like me sitting next to me... we obisely you would not think its a scam or fake. when i took the interview with (MS SHELTON) she was nice asking me basic stuff ...and took my resume ... and it was so no professional stuff she asked... and then the GOOOD PART COMES IN... she shows me some paper and tells me i need to do traning stuff 8 hour class 16 hour class and bla bla bla ...and i had to pay over 400 dollar and i have to come next day to do the class ...so they asked me if i can pay that much for the SECURITY LICENSE... i thought hey i need the license okay i will somehow mangage ...and at that time i did not had any job or any money... i had to borrow that 80 dollar from a friend... so okay then she took some sing after i payed her 80 dollar and she said congratulation to me and i look through the paper it did say the money is non refundable ...i was then thinking little in my mind if it was real or fake ...so i signed thinking i will get the job after all those classes and background check and all... so i went home thinking i need to get 400 dollar from someone now ...so i arranged 200 ... the lady told me i can pay half by half ...
i went home told my wife and this she was tense and see if it was legit and i said i mean they have to be i mean the office is in Manhattan and stuff ...but still in my mind i was thinking it could be fake ...but still i took the train to go [[[[[[[ALWAYS VIGILANT 2 East 42nd ST New York New York 10017 New York, New York United States Phone: Phone: [protected]}}}}}}}} and i was running late so i was saying to myself that please god i do not want to pay all this money and not get a job... and i was Asking God to give me some sign if its fake ...and i told myself if i am late for the class i wont go that might be a sign ...but guess what i made it on time ...classes was at 1 pm and i was their 12:50 and i was about to enter the office i see 2 gentlemen and they asked me if i was going for class i said yes ...and BINGOOOOO BBINGOO they told me this was fake and not to go ...it was a spam...and they showed me another place where they giving the same class and its legit they had the papers of that office and it was way cheaper...i was like WTF//// and hey it was the sign so i didnt enter the office and yes i did save 400 dollar and i kno i lost that 80 dollar ...

AFTER that i came online searching for that company and nothing i find ...den i search more and i found 2 or 3 spam/fake stuff online and just thought to share my thoughts ... please ppl to search up for giving out money to anyone...think twice ...

People be advised, whenever you go for a job interview, any interview from picking cans from the strreet to Government jobs interview, NO ONE can ask you to bring any money for the interview.
If someone ask you to bring money with you when making interview appointment, Hang up phone on that person.

I was just called by someone from this company asking if I was interested in a security job. he said that you needed a fire card in order to work in a corporate building which I knew was a lie because I have prior experience in the field of security. and I never needed a fire guard license for a front desk /security position. I decided to look them up and came up with so many different sites complaining about Always Vibrant Security. luckily I decided to look them up, And I definitely will not be going to the BS interview this week. hopefully others will look them up also before getting scammed. some one using the name Hubert Chapman called me from [protected].

I went to this place thinking I was going to have a job by end of day due to their bogus craigslist ad. I get there they wanted 60 bucks then they told me I had to take 3 days of training at 60 bucks each day for a total of 299.

I called BS immediately and started to question Mr. Freeman, when I told him I thought he was a sales person and a scan he threw my license back at me. Had it landed on the floor I would of made him pick it up but it staid on the edge of his desk. I took it and walked away. As I walked away Scam Artist Freeman said "I wasn't going to hire you anyway" and I said of course not because I wasn't going to give him the 60 bucks.

As I began to leave he wanted to get the last word so he said "yo Mr. Chase make sure this guy leaves our building" to which I replied "There's only one way out of this basement".

They have many numbers that they like to play arround from... They used to be called Urban Dynamics but they had to change there name because of their LIES. I spent a good 400 like an a**hole, but I was only 18 fresh out of HS. 4 years later and I still don't have a job with that company... smh.. anyways. One of their agents is PERSAUD and she almost caught me with her lies again as well. [protected]. Take some legal aid against this situation! She lies, as much as everyone else in this company!
