Dear MD Service Desk/Ombudsman,
I have tried unsuccessfully to obtain a refund on a newly-fitted, non-functional unit installed in my vehicle.
I am dissatisfied with Altech Netstar and the unprofessional manor in which this claim is being treated.
I was, and correctly, so under the impression that the unit was functional as it was brand new (installed 12/10/2017) but only to discover on 07/09/2018, via your website that the unit was not working.
"This unit is not working since 12/10/2017, yet you have not picked this up. This is most disconcerting, to say the least."
Even Altech Netstar did NOT pick up this fault, which defeats the purpose of this unit and the service you provide.
Finance has not responded since 10/09/2018.
I require a 11 month refund as per dates of installation (12/10/2017) and rectification of unit (11/09/2018).
Please attend to my claim as a matter of urgency as this is now unacceptable.
