Id card printer and software
I bought a printer from Alphacard which was a Magiccard Enduro. I use the maching for making ID cards for Private Law Enforcement and Security. We train Military and Law Ennforcement including SWAT, Bounty Hunters and SERT teams nation wide and Internationally. The license key for the software has lifetime tech support. Each year, all of the graduates have to re-new their license pocket card and cannot work without it. Currently there is over 200 people waiting for their cards and our printer/software has not been working and Dusty Poole, the Director of Operations who has been hiding from us finally appeared after months to say that he is refusing to give us tech support to fix a rather easy software issue or maybe not.
In the past, it was always hard to find Dusty calling over there and leaving messages even though we knew he was there. After all, where would he be? They have only been in business since 2007 and they lie on LinkedIn they have 200 employees! I am top 1% on LinkedIn with millions of connections and over 60 articles I've written and own a group there with a lot on integrty called Bounty Hunters | Law Enforcement | Military | Private Security Contractors .
Dusty finally called back and said he would not be offering tech support because we were being mean to his staff and used profanity. This is how Dusty and his company treats our Veterans!
... Well, this was ridiculous and had no merit whatsoever becuase we only dealt with Dusty since they had no other techs. Getting nowhere with this child in power, we then contacted the BBB in Portland and filed a complaint which perked him up and ushered him him into making further juvenile statements.
To make it even worse, he terminated our software licesne so we would not be able to use our software we purchased and the expensive machine to produce the cards. That unto itself, is considered a felony for stealing it from ourselves. He did not send a full refund the equipment and the losses and damages onto my company are in the six figure range now. If we loss this company of 30 years, it will be 8-9 figures.
They have a lifetime support advertised for the printer also. It's bad enough to lie and give bad service but when you rise to stealing - it is reprehensible that you have no integrity whatsoever and an obvious CRIMINAL!
Bogus fees
This company will start processing your credit cards with reasonable rates and as the time goes by will add on fee after fee of misc ###, until they are nothing but the highest fees, and will screw you again as you cancel with a $3 to 400 cancellation fee.
But this is not all today I got a non compliance fee of $40 for not filling out some paper from a year ago...I never got a thing...

AlphaCardServices.com started processing our merchant account payments. Then they started deducted money from us with no advance notice. They somehow decided to hold 145K out of nowhere. One day we looked at the account and saw they had been keeping money without saying anything to us. The owner would not even get on the phone. We called several times and no one would ever even answer there calls. What company could take a 145K hit out of no where with no advance notice. A word to the wise, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY. You think you are processing payments. Just wait until they stop sending you the money and keep it for themselves. Then when you call they don't even answer the phone. The owner is obviously one of those finance guys that thinks he is above everyone. His name is Lazarus. After finally getting a hold of him, he said "Oh well, you signed the contract, it was in the small print, " If I were you i would not do business with Alpha Card Services.
Take a look at there website: it was made in dreamweaver. That is the software that you use when you don't have the money to pay a real company to make your website.
It looks like these guys are just a reseller anyway. Never go through a reseller.

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I've used Alpha card services for 4 years. I have an agreement that automatically renew for 12 month periods. Alpha Card Services started charging me fees (again) which were waived in my agreement. I have the original agreement from 2010. When I requested a refund since the charges were NOT AUTHORIZED, I was told I would not be refunded. What stated out as a simple process developed into a slimy nickel-and-dime situation.This past billing cycle I receive 5 different unauthorized charged by Alpha Card services. Even though I have the agreement terms in writing, Alpha is trying to charge whatever they feel like. I explained the charges were unauthorized...it's in black-and-white, and I was still told the charges would not be credited. When I told them I would stop doing business with Alpha they said that was okay we'll charge you the $250 early termination fee since you have 2 month on your agreement.
Some of the WORSTE customer service and worst customer retention policies I've dealt with. Don't use Alpha Card Services unless you want to get screwed - they will charge you whatever they want regardless of what your agreement says. DON"T USE THEM.
This Complaint is a lie and distortion of the facts. This merchants account was terminated due to several factors including:
1) an extremely high percentage of chargebacks to sales ratio. Their March chargeback to sales percentage is above 9%. This percentage exceeds the current acceptable threshold of 1% set forth by the Visa, Mastercard and discover,
2) poor financials
3) very poor reputation of current company and past companies the ownership group has been associated with .
I spoke with tony, mark and Yvette and went over the account in detail with the merchant. The total amount of the reserve was $21, 000, not 145, 000 as stated above. The merchant didnot process 145, 000 in volume in a 2 month period let alone over a weekend. as of 45 Days after termination there is only 4, 000 left in the reserve, meaning there have been over 170 unhappy cardholders worth over 17, 000 in fradulent transactions and chargebacks .
If you do a google search for yourlocalmerchant.com you will see the results, after only 7 days Bank of America placed the same merchant on the TMF "Match" File for merchant collusion. These guys rotate signors from processor to processor trying to defraud everyone they can.
Alpha Card Services service record is spotless with the BBB and we have very few complaints for a company in business for over 10 years including 4 years running honered by INC magazine as one of the fastest growing companies in the US.. please see our website www.alphacardservices.com
