All Week Plumbing unethical behaviour. lack of professionalism.

Do not use this business. They promised to show up early even mentioning 7am as a normal start for them. They showed up 2 and a half hours late. They are unprofessional and rude. When I tried to discuss the previous agreement they started shouting and approaching me as if they are going to start a fight. It was impossible to have a civil conversation with them.
They walked all over house for no reason. I hired them for the AC work. They left muddy and rusty boot prints throughout the whole house using any chairs in the area as step stools, leaving them dirty as well. There were areas where they should have never entered that had nothing to do with the AC replacement only to leave more of a mess to clean up.
They left their trash outside, coffee cups, cigarette buds, the plastic that was wrapped around the equipment, cardboard, the wooden pallets, and small pieces of sheet metal they were cutting up.
They did not complete the work in a day as promised and realized they couldn't complete it due to electrical issues. I promptly turned down the Electrician they offered after dealing with them for 1 day and the amount they quoted me for the Electrician. I told them I would get my own and call them when it's ready.
I asked one of the Techs to send me the specs of the AC unit so I could provide it to the Electrician so he ended up texting me a picture he took of the info on the side of the unit.
The Company called me the next day to inform me that they will have to make 2 trips. One to complete their installation and the 2nd one to check the freon and the functionality of the unit once it was connected.
I called back the Tech with the number he texted me the picture with and told them to wait until the Electrical portion has been completed and they could just finish everything with 1 trip.
While I was working later that day someone named Alex called me claiming to own the company and asked if the Electrician completed his work. I told him no and that I would call them to complete their installation once the Electrician completed his work. Then he aggressively asks me how I got their worker's number and why I was contacting him. I didn't see a point to that question nor did I feel obligated to answer. After he started shouting on the phone I hung up on him. He calls me back and starts yelling at me for hanging up on him and that he will not send out the guys to complete the job. I honestly do not know how they exist or function as a business.

All Week Plumbing refund

Plumber James Murray accepted $400 dollars on 3/2 to apply for pemit for 3 seperate oil to gas boiler conversion for 200 littleton Ave, Newark NJ. Mr. Murray filled out permit jacket and plumbing subcode, chimney certification signrd and stamped applicationand copy of his license #8706 and provided receipt which states deposit is refunded if there is a change in contractor. Permit was submitted to City by me and rejected by the city for lack of elctrical subcode, building subcode and chimney scamatics needed by other licensed professionals. Mr. Murray stated at the time of accepting the deposit that the other applications were not necessary. I informed Mr. Murrayand he said he would take care of it and was to me at the City
permit office 3/14 @8:30am. Mr. Murray did not show up or call.
He did not return my calls on 3/14, 15, 16. I called All week plumbing on 3/16 and left message for him. On 3/15 I called Mr. Murray from contractor Orlando phone and he answered saying he was sick and he just happened to pick up phone. I explained to him that I wanted a refund because the permit application was not accepted and he told me it was not needed and the contractor Orlando who is his assistant told me it was not needed. Also, orlando never originated a contract for the job as agreed Furthermore, me and my wife who told me not to give him any money were no longer confident that Mr. Murray or Orlando would do the job correctly and that I was getting another contractor. Mr.Murray told me that the refund was no problem and that he would see me in a couple of days and he would cll by weeks end. I received a call from Mr. Murray on 3/17 and he asked why did I call his job. I told him that I called on 3/15 and he stated that he had just gotten the message. He ask me to meet him at the house on Friday 3/18 at 9:00am to refund the money. Mr. Murray did not show up nor did he return my phone calls. I called All week plumbing on 3/18 to speak with a manager. I spoke to Joe who told me the manager Ozzie was not in. I called back and spoke to Yola who said the manager was not in. I called later and Joe said that Ozzie was on vacation and would not be in until next week. I told Joe that he did said how to I expect a refund because I changed contractors. I explained to him that it's on my receipt and the permit application was permit was neveraccepted or issued. He said that I need to see Mr. Murray who took my money. I told him it has become obvious that he has no intention of refunding my money and I need to speak with a manager or someone who could help me. He said ther was no one else and I said that you stated that all week was a big company but ther's no one else. he stated that every one was gone. I told him that I realize that Mr. Murray is misrepresenting the company and he won't give me back my money than the company is liable. I explained that his licensed has All week plumbing on it and the permit application has all week plumbing on it. I told him that I would than take the matter to court aginst All week and inform the State of New Jersey Attorney General Office of Consumer Affairs because All week has an employee who is doing fishy business. Joe, said do what you got to do I can't help you. I went on the internet to see that All week has office in different cities in the Northern part of Jersey and called another location to speak with someone who could help but the calls went back to Joe in Garfiel who said stop calling he taking all the calls for the other locations. I find it strange that I can't speak to someone in customer service or billing like the answering service provides promp numbers, I belive that I've been scammed by Mr. Murray and All week plumbing is liable. I have originals of all documents.

with all honestly i disagree about what this person and his experience.
i been dealing with all week plumbing for the past 6 years for my building that i own in jersey city, hoboken and hackensack.
they been servicing all my plumbing, heating and air conditioning issues that i have over my properties, and to say the truth i haven't been Happy with any plumbing company as much as i am with all week plumbing, their prices is a little more than other companies but for the service you getting it is for sure worth it. as they say you: you get what you pay for.
with all respect i disagree with your experience and i am pretty sure there is something behind your story.
i am talking about a 6 years of experience and i will still use these guys.

All Week Plumbing does not cover warranty issues

Do not use this business. I was overcharge for a new air conditioner unit and they did faulty installation that cause my air conditioner unit to leak FREON. This unit was under warranty and they still charged me $500 to fill-up a 3 ton unit with FREON. Afterwards, I called another Plumber and they said this should have been covered under the warranty. He also said I was way overcharged for the price of FREON. I took this company to the BBB and they are still fighting. Do not do business with them otherwise you will get conned and not get a good product for all the money you have to pay them.

WARNING! WARNING! Hands down the WORST experience I have had customer service wise. I honestly never even write reviews but I feel obligated to warn others. They came 3 hours after the initial appointment window (Tuesday)then charged me $80 for the estimate even though the website clearly states free estimates. They also did not honor coupons on their website as they said it only applies to original prices. I still decided to go with them as I did not want my tenants to be without heat. They not only did not finish the job the first day(Wednesday) after showing up 2 hours late and taking over an hour lunch but they left my tenants without heat or water claiming there was a part that they needed and couldn't get until the next day. It was 5:30pm EST and Home Depot was less than a mile away an they were open until 10pm EST. The next day they showed up 2 hours late. They finished the job(so I thought) and charged me a addition $481 for replacing a 3 foot plastic water line. After they left, with in a few hours l had the same issue again. The utility company came out to inspect the job and told me that they had not completed the work, they were suppose to replace all of the pipes not half (even says that all pipes will be replaced on my receipt), they also were suppose to get permits from the city, they used some of the wrong material and they undersized the pipes that they installed. To add insult to injury, one of the guys used a really nice chair we had stored in the basement as a step latter, now the chair has muddy boot prints on it. Since I paid I want them to complete the rest of work. I have a contract in writing that states that I have a two year warranty on the work but they are not returning my calls or emails. PLEASE STAY AWAY!

This reply is on behalf of ALL WEEK PLUMBING AND HEATING LLC. I will only respond to the most recent negative complaint listed above, as the others have already been addressed. I will start by stating that this is a family owned and operated, 30 year old business, who has served our community and most of Northern New Jersey in good standing. All of our employees are held to high standards and are professionally dressed in company uniforms at all times. Our company vans are marked with our logos, phone numbers etc. Furthermore, our office staff, which have been with the company for many years ALWAYS identify themselves upon answering the phone line, as this is part of their phone etiquette. In terms of our pricing and invoicing, we are very price competitive and our goal is always to keep a customer for the long term versus for a one time job. With that being said, we are fair with our pricing and most of the time give flat rate pricing which includes time, labor, parts etc. Customers are given pricing information prior to commencing the work and it MUST be approved and signed for by the customer before we begin any work. In terms of bargaining on our pricing, if we agreed to lower the pricing it was only to satisfy the customer, which obviously still didn't appease the customer. In closing, we do not like to come on any social media to discredit, bash, talk ill of or character assassinate any of our "valued clients". However, in defense of our company there is always two sides to the story. We are sorry to this customer regardless for any inconveniences or miscommunications. However as there are negative complaints, their are also positive ones. Thank you and if there is anything more we can do, just contact us directly, as this is the first time we are seeing this.

All Week attempted to repair my a/c unit. The technician entered my home to turn off the breaker instead of using the disconnect next to the unit. He replaced to components on the unit. When he finished working, he started a bidding process to determine how much money he could squeeze out of me. The invoice was not itemized by parts and labor.
Within an hour the a/c was not working. A second company diagnosed and repaired the problem. All Week has been featured on the news as corrupt. The first page in the Yellow Pages consists mostly of All Week shell companies. When they answer the phone they don't identify the company. Their vehicles and employees are not marked with company logos.

This company is totally fraudulent. I completely agree with the post that they never honor their warranty. In 2008 they installed a new boiler for me for almost $6000, which a few weeks later stopped working. When I called them and requested a warranty repair they said that neither labor nor the part is covered under the warranty even though it was the part that they installed. I had to call another plumber who told me that I was overcharged for at least $2000. The new plumber also looked at their warranty papers and said that the faulty part was covered under warranty and that I should make them fix the problem. I tried to call the owner again, but the owner is very rude arrogant pushy guy who is confident that people will rather call another plumber than waste their time trying to make them do the work.

I think all those who have already suffered from this swindler should join their forces and complain to the Attorney General of NJ, because I see a pattern in his behaviour. It is no longer a civil matter - it is a criminal behaviour. This guy fraudulently lures people by multi-year warranty and other misrepresentations and then refuses to honor them.

If anyone wants to support my complaint to the Attorney General, please write me to the following email: classaction@usa.com

We've used this plumber for the first time as a referral, and their service was impeccable! They guarantee low prices and a fast 45 minute service. They are open 24 hours seven days a week.

They finally were able to find the true cause of why my tub kept clogging up every month although preventative measure had supposedly been installed by previous plumbers. It has been almost 4 months and my tub has yet to clog! Thank You All Week!
