We took our boat to this shop on May 16 for a diagnostic of an issue with engine stalling on acceleration. On May 20, boat was "fixed ", the fuel pump was replaced, new spark plugs, rotor and a new distributor cap (which the mechanic claimed was broken when we dropped off the boat). We were very suspicious about this claim, but in good faith, we paid the bill ... $1032.00.

May 21 ... launched and put our boat in the lift May 22 - June 4 the boat sat in the lift.

June 4 ...tried to start the boat, found it to be very difficult. We replaced the battery. We were able to troll and warm up the motor. The engine stalled and died, would not start. We paddled back. Then we called the mechanic. He came out to the boat and determined that the carburetor needed a carb kit...

June 16 ... The mechanic returned to put back the carburetor and could not get the engine started.

June 17 ... We arranged to have our boat towed and returned to the mechanic's shop. The next morning, the mechanic called to say that the starter module needed to be replaced.

June 27 ...part arrived and they were working on it.
June 28 ... The mechanic called to inform us that they had received a faulty part and would reorder.

June 30 ... picked up the boat at 3:00 pm and paid the bill ... ($1579.00)

August 2 ... Up to this point we have used the boat on five different occasions with no problems, but we were experiencing excessive gasoline fumes. On Aug. 2 after warming up the engine and trolling for about 15 min., on full throttle, it was sluggish end, sputtered and seemed to choking itself out. We returned the boat to the lift. We made some calls to different boat mechanics and pulled the boat out of the lake and took to a different mechanic for a second opinion.

August 6 ... The new mechanic has reported that there is evidence that the fuel pump was never removed or replaced. Also the distributor cap and rotor may have cleaned, but was not new. The carburetor is missing parts and is flooding out the engine and the carb kit was never done.

We will not return our boat to All Seasons for further repairs. We would appreciate an opportunity to negotiate a refund for the parts that they claimed were new and replaced, and weren't. As well as, reimbursement for labour costs for work claimed, but not done. We also understand that the people working at All Seasons are not certified boat mechanics.

Caveat Emptor ... Buyer Beware!

Not many reviews on this business. But I am becoming concerned.
I dropped my boat off last oct/nov. 2016 for some engine work. Nothing major. 2 stroke engine needed a new piston and rings and seals.
It's now aug 2017. Boat is still not done.
I have a trip planned for this week and the boat is not ready. He said he will work all night on it. I'm calling bs. But if he does do an all niter, how messed up is my boat going to be?
Definitely not going to recommend this guys name for any work... stay clear!
