All American Moving & Storage / Trouble collecting on damage claim

We moved from California to Pennsylvania on march 25th'2002. We had our stuff moved on 23rd march'2002 which we had them deliver to us on 3rd may 2002. At the time of packing and moving we took an insurance of $10,000 with 0% deductible and we paid $200 for it. When we got the stuff a few items were damaged which were then to be either replaced or refunded or repaired by them.

We called them in may then in july and every month thereon we only got the reply that they r processing our claim and that they will get back to us asap. First we called there california no. where we were asked to call Rafaela Sanchez,Customer service manager. When we called her she asked for the pics of damaged stuff and a copy of our receipt which we sent to them.But we didnt get any reply so we called them again, they told us to call [protected] which we called, there Ms.Ana said to send the pics and copy again we faxed everything to her.

She said our claim is being processed .In a few days we got a letter asking us to accept $150 for all the damaged items which we rejected as our items were worth $1000 atleast moreover we had paid $200 for this kind of situation only. Again Ana asked us to send everything with the price of the damaged items we did that by sending them the copy of the receipt of the items that were broken.Yet we didnt get any reply when we called again they said the claim is being processed by the manager we said ok and waited for the call but no reply came so we called again this time Ana transferred us to Mr.Rani.He asked us to mail the details to him we did that but still we didnt get any reply.

This time when we called they said that our claim has been transferred to insurance company and they will call us but noone called so we called them again on which they said that they dont have any info abt our claim and we shouldn't call them. Now we r really in mid of a weird situation as the company who damaged the stuff says they have no info and the insurance company never called us......... Kindly register our complaint against this moving company and take some action. For this we will be grateful.
