All American Hot Dog Carts review: terrible hot dog cart 22

All American Hot Dog Carts lack customer service skills, integrity and credibility. Bought a second hand hot dog cart that was built by them in 2007. When I went on their website, they listed accessories separate from the carts (http://allamericanhotdog.com/accessories.html). When I called, I spoke to a woman named Mabel who asked me to email her the cart info and accessory info so she could look into the pricing and availability for me. She informed me that the accessories were available, but quoted them as $400 more than the website showed. Then I got an email from the owner Will who said "Sorry, we do not sell that sort of accessory" (Even though all accessories I was interested in were listed on his website). After going back and forth several times regarding the discrepancy, I received a final email from Will that stated: "Actually we are not in the business of selling appliances. If you want cheap, try some Chinese website or whatever." Clearly, Will's company is falsely advertising his products on his website. Even though he updated his website to reflect "2015 prices", he would not sell them to me for the price they were listed as and then called me cheap just because I wanted the accessories at the ADVERTISED price. Will is appalling, rude and apparently lacks any knowledge on selling quality products. AVOID this company, and ALL of his companies, at all costs. Is All American Hot Dog Carts still in business. Every time I call, I get an answering machine. I can't remember if there was a title when I purchased the cart in 2009. I know I had to register the trailer, not the cart. If there was a title, what do you do if you can not locate it and require a new one? A little confused on this one.

Has anybody had trouble boiling water on an ALL American Cart?

Has anybody had problems with being able to boil water in the All American with a grill?

Was told not to buy from All American hot cart but I did, got cart was damaged the trailer was not put to gather and was Chinese cheep junk that is held to gather by to 9/16 bolts that took me 2 hr to line up the holes, the light were not put on no directions or operating manual----- there 1-800 support line is out and the same lady picks up the phone, should listen waste of money

i live in jacksonville fl and i bought a cart from all american hot dog cart in miami fl i dealt will a guy named milton he told me what the cost was and the shipping which i thought was fair i went to my local bank a paid for it and he ship it out i receieved it in four days he told me five and when i called him he help me with everything i will buy more from them the help was great and the cart works great i couldnt ask for no better service i am really happy and you sould call and ask for milton he will return your calls and bend over backwards to help you now i making a living and want to buy my second cart thanks milton hope to get my new cart soon. joe from jacksonville

I have not yet received any refund reimbursement or resolution to my complaint against Will Hodgskiss and his hot dog cart company (whatver he calls himself these days)in Kingston Ontario. It seems he does it to everyone- everywhere and even when he promises to send you the prepaid things he didnt send in the first place he doesnt do that. So time goes on and he still has your money but you still dont have your product He gets to keep both. In my opinion He sent me a used refurbished cart thats why I didnt get an invoice until months later after I went to the BBB, He knowingly held me back from cancelling the transaction from my visa by promises to repair my cart and making me do all the footwork to get 3 estimates which delayed time, then he offers me a deal to get the cart repaired that ultimately he hasn't kept . The man is a lying deceptive crook and knows he can ignore you because he has your money and he Aint Giving It Back! All the sidestepping and bullcrap promises to jerk you around but it never comes. So I own an inoperable hot dog cart, I am still missing the $575cart cover the$230 umbrella the $86.25 dog sled server(that was on the elusive invoice that I had paid for but didnt order ), He was to send them back in 2009, reimburse me for the shipping charges of $873. and he offered me $500.00 towards the repair of my cart (the Lowest estimate was $1500.)money and missing parts and it is now 2011 and he Still Hasnt and all my attempts to resolve this whole situation have failed because he knows how to ignore you and work the system.

Will Hodskiss does business out of Canada dont buy anything from this piece of crap.ou will have a nightmare trying to register your cart in the US. I received my cart with no title, leaking sink broken hinges just a complete piece of crap just likethe person representing the company. YES WILL IS A PIECE OF CRAP!

Just because you are a member of the Better Business Bureau it doesnt mean you are an honest business; with them the members " pay to play "and their A status is the worst to trust ! You can hide behind this logo but in your heart you know who is telling the truth. If you go to my file http://ottawa.app.bbb.org/complaint/view/2054600/c/q2p1z4 you will see that it was "administatively resolved "which means when I got nowhere from trying to deal with Will Hodgskiss (no refunds, none of the products that I paid for but never recieved never rectified and no repairs to be able to operate my cart functionally ) After all the crackpot, off the wall responses, no questions answered, side stepping all the situations, So I finally asked the B.B.B. where to send the money to go forward to a mediation process which is supposed to be One of their services to a public consumer victim that is getting nowhere with a crooked business owner is next step to go forward to Mediation. Well next thing I get no reply back from the B.B.B. No E-Mails No phone calls so I called them. They said my complaint was closed and the whole file was erased. Completely Erased! and even though he has broken all the rules he gets to keep his A status. Now how about those bananas.
So I applied to go on Judge Judy to get this resolved but I havent heard back. Truth is people looking to buy a hot dog cart BEWARE of Will Hogskiss All his trade names and Anything coming out of KIngston Ontario Canada

There is some great news regarding auction item fraud- a nationwide company with over 1, 500 agents launches February First. They will go, in person, to verify an auction item for you to make sure it is legitimate and they will even take the item to UPS or Fed Ex to ship it to you! The company is called Wegolook.com and here is a general description of them:

All American Hot Dog makes GARBAGE. If you buy a cart from this company you can expect it to deteiorate very quickly. The owner of the company told me it was all just regular wear and tear. I use it about 6 times a year and it is always kept indoors. I wonder what would happen on the streets of New York everyday? I saw another cart in Burlingtooon VT over the holiday and it too is falling apart. The proprietor told me he got no warranty help whatsoever. Build your own or by it from somehwere else, the HOT Dog King only wants your money.

All American? More like All Chinese! My Hot Dog Cart is falling apart. I got no help, support or quality assurance from the Hot Dog King. He is a joke, and his products stink. DO NOT BUY A CART FROM THAT COMPANY!

I bought a hot dog cart from Will Hodgskiss AKA : "Worlds Best Hot Dog Carts, :All American Hot Dog Carts, :Willy Dog Hot dog Carts, :US Hot dog carts, :No Frills Hot dog carts, Carts of Canada "( and probably more names) all the same guy.all the same crap. He pretends to be an American company but if you check the 1-800# it is all the same one. He will get your money up front and then make you wait for delivery. I waited 10 months for my cart having to cancel pre-paid events and losing my spot for the following year. My cart arrived unsecured, loose, uncrated, on the back of a pick-up truck . He wanted to deliver it to a gas station 40 miles away but I begged him to deliver it to my yard and instead of $399 shipping I was charged $873.00. No invoice was with the delivery and until I went to the BBB he fudged one up 3 months later to save face. On the invoice I was charged an extra $984.00 for items I did not receive and to date still have not been able to get him to either give me the items nor my money back (4 years later). And I am still trying to get him to help me fix the cart which is inoperable with 26 problems. I have had numerous phone calls from people all over Canada and the USA about their bad experiences with him and his refusal to fix, repair, replace or refund anything damaged or not working. Guys like him should be stopped from ripping off poor people that are only trying to make a meager living selling hot dogs as a career because of the unemployment situation. Keep spreading the word about him and save others the impossible ordeal.

Sorry to hear that. I may have a solution for you. I built my own cart which I use in my hot dog vending business. When I built it, I videotaped the construction process and drew up plans so others can watch and learn how to build their own.
