Alibaba big scammer

Alibaba, big scammer, warning!,
Please be advised that if you do business with alibaba and its suppliers, you will be scammed/robbed
Alibaba works in partnership with those fake suppliers from china, and together they scam or robbed people. Alibaba charge a lot for suppliers to become gold supplier, and alibaba says if suppliers are gold member, they are trustworthy and customer can go ahed and do business with them. More over, alibaba says gold suppliers are certified and their business are verifed, but you paid to them for goods and you never come back to know any thing from those scammers. If they send you something that is an april fool card, empty box, so they can generate a tracking number (rr852023233cn or ee201900765cn) I have been scammed/robbed twice wihin the last 4 moths. The first one was with this guangzhou guanzhai import & export co., ltd. (www.gzgtec.com) and its contact sally; I lost $475.00 usd for an order of usb keys and memory cards that never were shipped to me. Two months ago I was scammed/robbed again, by china bloom creation limited company (http://www.cnbloom.com) and it manager amy. I lost $775.00 usd for the second attempt to get usb keys and memory cards. They only thing I got was a fake traking number and later I got a little box that arrived to me 2 months later with empy carcases of memory cards. So they have stolen from me $1250.00 usd. Alibaba washed theris hands saying that you should report the crime to your local police deparmtment. Are you kidding me? Our local police deparments in the world don’t care about a crime happened some where in china. So the only way to stop these scamers is by alerting as many people as we can, so they don’t get robbed. If you are about to do business with a alibaba supplier; before doing that, writte me an email and i’ll be happy to provide you with more info about this scammers.

2. Or you can contact Rachel at Alibaba.com Customer Satisfaction Center at e-mail: customerservice@alibaba-inc.com. Say Frau Chin send you if you want.
3. If you have not done yet, start a new thread in Alibaba's Forum but this time put their banking particulars also, be more detailed.
4. Post your complaint in one scam-fighting website a day and copy-paste them to your thread. Send TIANJIN KAIFENGDE a copy.
Fight them back any way you can. Show them you are serious. But never send them any more money even if they said they want to resolve the matter. Let them send the correct material first, then only you send back the wrong ones.
If you could send me their banking particulars, I would gladly put their name into my Recipients of Scam Money list. Then you can send them a copy. E-mail me at fraudchina@gmail.com.

Alibaba fraud

There is no question that I have been a victim of the alibaba site!
The usual problem. After I paid the money to the bank they asked me
To pay more money, and basically my money is gone.

The question is why we, that have been victims of this site, do not join our voices
To complain and ask from both the alibaba com and the individual merchands to
Return our money.
I believe that only international pressure with help from our countries could clear up
These crooks that they do their business totally free.
My e mail is [protected]@windowslive.com

Alibaba selling fake goods

Alibaba.com has a site to source equipment. I used it to get usb flash memory. I put in what I wanted and two names popped up.

Ms. Laney huang
Nanchang city xinrui commodity trade co.
Baigangcun committee xiaolan industrial garden
Jangxi
China
86-150-[protected]

Or

Ms. Yuyan zhang
Changzhou foreign trade bases imp
Shanghai
China
0086-21-[protected]

I wrote both of these companies.

One of the responses was from someone names cora @ topelectronic.net. I assumed she was part of one of those original two. Actually, I didn't notice the name of the company was different.

She had the best deal for the micro sd cards and the usb thumb drives, so I sent her the money. After that I had more trouble contacting her. The only way she responded was when I pretended to have a larger second order. Eventually I did receive something in the mail. What I received was only some usb thumb drives that didn't work. Not only did these drives not work, but they were fakes.

I tried to contact alibaba.com. The company has put lots of roadblocks in my way. I filled out a bunch of forms. Finally I was told the company could not do anything because the name of the company topelectronic.net was not in their database. Topelectronic.net must have picked up my information from one of those original companies listed in alibaba.com, but I cannot prove it.

In the end I lost around $150. I have not figured out why yahoo would want to buy such a company as alibaba.com.

Alibaba, although huge, has become completely void of any customer service. I ordered a product, was told that I would receive it within 15 days. Close to the 15th day, I receive an email stating that the ship date would be moved back about 2 weeks. After 2 weeks had gone by, I receive an email saying that my product was on the way. It never arrived. When I tried the tracking number associated with the order, it could not be found. Finally after about 5 weeks from placing the order, I asked for my money back because Alibaba does not have a way for me to call them. Their so called "virtual customer service" is a joke. The guy that invented Alibaba is a billionaire, too bad he nor anyone else in that company gives a crap anymore. I would not use Alibaba

I debated about whether I should share this story, but at the end I decided that my experience might help prevent someone from falling into the same scam as I did. At the time I was young, inexperienced and financially naive. Since then, I’ve learned and improved based on my past failures and eventually went on to run a small but profitable home business by making money online with ebay, at least for a modest period of time.

It All Started With Too Much Greed

Shortly after college I decided I wanted to start a part time side business selling merchandise on eBay. But first I needed to find a wholesale supplier. After some research I decided I wanted to focus on consumer electronics such as GPS navigation devices and Apple iPods, and concluded my best bet at finding a supplier would be through a free network site like Alibaba, that helps connect sellers with buyers of goods. Little did I know at the time, but sites like Alibaba are crawling with scammers and evil doers.

I ultimately decided to focus on selling Garmin and Tom Tom branded GPS units. After a few searches, I was amazed to find numerous sellers offering brand new Garmin GPS units for very little money. The Garmin GPS model I was interested in buying in bulk retailed for more than $1200 on eBay at the time. The sellers I found on Alibaba were offering each unit for only $700 each. The asking prices were exceedingly low, but sadly I was too overcome with dollar signs in my head to realize that the offers were likely too good to be true. I essentially had blinders on and was too busy calculating all the profit I was going to make by selling these units for such high markup. Eventually I narrowed down a potential seller.

Greed Prevented Me From Recognizing the Warning Flags

When you are overcome with greed, it is hard to think clearly, even when a clearly fraudulent transaction is staring at you in the face. I should have been more aware of all the telltale signs that the seller was likely a potential scammer and a fraud. First of all, the seller provided me contact information based in Indonesia, a country like Nigeria that is notorious for being a hotbed of scammer activity. He also provided very limited company background information that could be used to verify his personal or business identity, or determine his true geographical location. The phone number he provided me did indeed work, but I should have realized that nowadays with VOIP technology, phone number locations are very easily faked. It’s easy to reside in one country and still obtain a temporary, disposable local phone number from another. Even paid identity authentication and verification services are subject to abuse and illegal manipulation as well. It’s not all that difficult for online scammers on Alibaba or any other Internet exchange service to obtain a genuine TrustPass or Alibaba Gold Membership certification using falsified identification.

Another thing that should have raised red flags was the fact that the seller offered to pay for shipping, which is an extremely unusual practice for first time wholesale purchases, especially since international shipping can be quite expensive. The seller also insisted on rushing the sale, frequently threatening to end the lucrative deal if I continued to demand more verification information and not move forward with payment. But otherwise, the scammer was extremely convincing in the way he portrayed the deal as completely legitimate. Rather than thinking that the sale was a scam, I just thought I was getting an excellent deal.

Because I was so motivated by greedy emotions, I was more fearful of losing the lucrative buy than I was of being scammed. There were so many warning signs that I simply ignored, such as the seller refusing to accept Paypal or even credit card payment. Instead, he demanded payment through bank wire transfer. If I had conducted more due diligence, I would have known that unlike Paypal or credit card transactions where my money would have been protected, bank wire transactions are permanent and irreversible once properly executed.

I Fell For the Trap – Hook, Line, and Sinker

Ultimately I sent him over $2, 025.00 through bank wire transfer for 3 sample Garmin GPS units. Once he had the money, he disappeared without a trace. I attempted to contact him through the phone number he provided me, but the line had been disconnected. He never responded back to my e-mails and I never received the merchandise. My money was gone and I never recovered it.

Afterwards, I felt very stupid and ashamed, but I learned many valuable lessons as a result. I’m glad I experienced this hard knock life lesson earlier in my life when the potential stakes were lower. I thought something like this could never possibly happen to me, but it did, and I allowed my greedy emotions to get in the way of rational caution. You and I, we may think we’re very smart and that we’re so clever, but we are only human, and still susceptible to basic human emotional irrationality. It’s difficult to control emotions like greed, fear, and pride. So my friends, it’s important to always stay vigilant – scammers are everywhere and one day you might be in their cross hairs too.

From my searching I have found that it's not just a few unsavory dealers associated with Alibaba at the root of the Fraudulent activities but Alibaba seems to be the Fraud itself. People out there trying to make money through dealings with Chinese companies are subsequently fleeced of there funds in a crewel manor. You can get the names of as many Alibaba companies as you want to find the best price, most likely you will be emailing these so called companies thinking you are talking to innocent young women who wouldn't hurt a fly but you are not. You will agree to a price and sent an invoice to which you have to forward money through Western Union or wire transfer. In my case the product was supposed to be shipped, in most cases there is no shipment others that do get shipped will be junk. If you actually do receive anything and told to ship it back for exchange you will see nothing come back. Alibaba is a well orhistrated scam from China to fleece anyone trusting enough to to think they are dealing with reputable companies only to just throw their money into the wind. I have yet to understand why Chinese authorities have not tried to shut it down as the only thing I forsee is that people wanting to do business with legitamite Chinese companies will not know who to trust and stop. Anybody who sees the name Alibaba should turn and run like hell. If I knew enough about computer programming I would be trying to setup some sort of redflag program so if somebody typing in Alibaba a big red stop sign would flash in their face. I too was taken by them and after complaining I had not gotten one of their associates when it was them that provided the names to me. Run hard and run fast when you see Alibaba.

I purchased a product from Jeff Teng via Alibaba. The product did not include a leather case as shown and the product does not work well. I complained to Alibaba and a few weeks later they say they tried to call me. They never left a message. They released the money to him and and told me tough. I gave the merchant a poor rating. Alibaba removed my poor rating of the merchant. He only has glowing comments now. Wonder how many poor ratings they remove to make their merchants look good?

Hi there, this is Sovanna from Alibaba.com’s Hong Kong office. Alibaba.com takes the issue of fraud very seriously and we have strict policies in place to deal with it. If you come across any (suspected) fraudster, please report it to: http://resources.alibaba.com/trade_safe/complaint.html. Once you have filed your complaint and, if your complaint is substantiated, the supplier you dealt with will be immediately removed and banned from our platform.

I also wanted to highlight our Fair Play Fund, which is the first program of its kind to take the fees from an Alibaba.com supplier’s membership and use that money to offset buyer losses if that supplier commits fraud. If a China Gold Supplier is removed from Alibaba.com based on a confirmed case of fraud, the remainder of their Gold Supplier fee is added to the Fair Play Fund, which is supplemented by cash from Alibaba.com.

If you suspect fraud from a China Gold Supplier, please contact customer service immediately at tradesecurity@service.alibaba.com. The customer service team will then provide instructions on verifying fraud and applying for the fund.

We also recommend that you visit our Safety & Security center for more information on how to protect yourself in international trade: http://resources.alibaba.com/trade_safe/home.htm

I tried to contact chinese supplier through Alibaba. After that, I suddenly found another website China.cn) has all my information including email contents I did through Alibaba, and they published on their website. Did Alibaba sell my information China.cn, or Alibaba's websiste has serious sercurity problems? I will never use Alibaba.

Alibaba dishonest

I wish to warn as many people as possible of the risk of dealing with companies listed on alibaba.com.
Alibaba cannot be trusted, they list bogus companies who offer goods at very low prices, accept payment via tt and do not send the goods. Alibaba is no better than these companies as it makes money from their dishonest activities and lists many of them as gold suppliers implying that they are honest traders.
Alibaba will not help people who have been robbed in the recovery of their money and will not take any responsibility for the loss.
Please avoid alibaba and the companies they list. I am speaking from experience; I lost a large sum of money dealing with a gold supplier who proved to be a fraud.

Please allow me to comments on our personal experience with alibaba.com. I agree with the scams on alibaba.com. We are a new home based company legally registered in June, 2015. We recently joined alibaba.com despite reading all the negative comments. Within one week of joining we received an email from alibaba sales department indicating to pay US$1300 plus to be come a gold supplier or have our company account barred. I communicated with the related department indicating that we are a small company reselling products and do not have such funds at hand and we have not generated any income from the site etc. I told wrote to them and requested if our company's registration certificate will be sufficient they bluntly refused asking us to provide warehouse stocks, building with company name, trade shows attended, office interior with staff etc. Despite several exchanges of email they keep insisting that we pay the funds and will not try to understand what a genuine business person have to say. Have also noted when a search is done for suppliers or manufacturers form other country on their website will only result in Chinese suppliers. What this proves is they are only interested in Chinese suppliers get global business. What a way to make money they are not a friendly website they seems to be favoring their own.

I agree with all at this forum based on alibaba.com fraud issues etc. I happen to join this B2B site about two weeks aback. During this period I had the opportunity to read a lot of comments and fraud do to innocent buyers, who trusted the Chinese Gold suppliers. I did searches to find suppliers from other countries with no success, as any time a search is done it will only show Chinese suppliers no matter how much i try to finds other country suppliers. This is to show they only want their own citizens to sell globally. Chinese sellers pay a very small amount the come gold suppliers. I had no time to complete two weeks as a seller/buyer I received an email asking me to become gold supplier, i wrote to them back asking why should i become one as I have not even made a cent since I joined as free member and the amount of fraud. They insisted I become a gold supplier. I did not reply to the following emails, to my shock & surprise they blocked my account with instructions to pay US$1500 & more to become gold supplier. I wrote to request that I only have my government registration document only and that's it they never reply to my emails. ALIBABA.COM is a large knitted fraud website they only want outsiders to pay large sums with no secured service.

Majority of Alibaba’s suppliers are legitimate businesses. However, you must research on the credibility of an online supplier before you buy, just as you would with a real-life business partner.

Alibaba is only a platform between the buyers and the suppliers, nothing more. They do not own inventory but simply connect buyers with sellers.

Using escrow as a form of payment instead of Western Union is one way of protecting yourself. If you need more tips, browse through Alibaba forums. Be wise and the opportunity will be unlimited.

When you purchase from a dealer for the first time, ask for a cheap sample first, a thief is usually greedy and he will not ship that cheap sample, in that case you will loose 20 Dollars instead of 500, also a respectable company must have a payment system rather than western union, they have credit card processing etc. so there are always bad signs that indicate a thief, I suggest using Alibaba for lots purchasing and in that case it will act as a means to get information about the customer, however you must check the customer website yourself, thieves are lazy, they either don't build a website or build a cheap bad looking website

it is incredible how people use alibaba web site and get scammed.
i have been playing with import/export since 1991 and have seen hundreds of scams on alibaba
the larger scam is requesting potential buyers to send advanced payment for shipping of free samples.
those crooks on alibaba done even have any products.
they steal photos and info from real web sites and post them as their own.
they list dirt cheap prices that are to good to be true yet fools still get scammed.
even low cost items on alibaba
they tell you to send advanced payment by western union to cover shipping fees.
they mark a 200 dollar shipping fee on a 99 cent item yet fools still pay them.
they send payment for thousands of dollars of products and don't even bother researching the seller first.
i don't feel sorry for any one dumb enough to get scammed on a web site designed to scam people.
alibaba makes money by receiving payment for gold membership on crooks who are there to rip you off.
remember if it looks to go to be true it probably is.

its not just china were the crooks are located.

the UK and even the u.s.have crooks on alibaba

wake up people if you cant see a scam then you deserve to be scammed.

Alibaba don't order nothing from this company plus all the other companies advertising on this site.

Alibaba.com is a scam they never check people who post on this website after you complain they delete the subject. I think no one should order anything from this site unless they are willing to lose there money. If you wanna know whats going on just log on to alibaba.com and pick any company you what and google it up. For example; this company http://www.colormobile.en.alibaba.com/ is shown as a golden members is alibaba.com but it got over 100 complains on google but nothing ever been done till this week. And they may just changed the name. So do not buy or order nothing from alibaba.com

Alibaba how to avoid

Now china become the world factory, and export every field products to all around the world.
So for company, they want to find supplier by b2b web, like the alibaba.com, globalsourse.com, made-in-china.com, ec21.com, especially alibaba-the biggest b2b web.
For personal, they want to buy products from china wholesaler like importandgo.com, or they can also buy them from ebay, aliexpress, taobao, dangdang.
Yes, they can buy cheaper product from ebay or alibaba than their city’s shop. But some online seller don’t have good credit, they cheat buyers - get money but don’t delivery goods. How to avoid fraud or scam on web?
People organized on web and list the fraud or scam on ebay, or discuss on the alibaba forum and ask other guys do not place order to these scam company. Even they can set subject for most china wholesale and compare their quality, price &service.
However, while the priest climbs a foot, the devil climbs
Many customer trapped and lost money, time by these fraud.
Now a multinational company proudly said they can help you to avoid this problem.
Agentandgo is an purchasing agent, and they have office in spain and shenzhen, china. When you want to buy products from china,
For company, if you can not visit supplier when you do business at 1st time with this supplier. Agentandgo can go to the supplier address for you and see whether this supplier is factory or not. They can take photos and you can check whether the supplier’s machine can meet your target. And estimate how many worker they have, what is square the factory have! After you confirm the supplier can meet your require and they are not fraud. Then you can place order to them and transfer fund.
Even after production and ready to send, agentandgo can inspect the quality for you. You know, after you get products and test them. Then you find that products quality can not pass the test. It is too late, because it waste your too much time &energy. Especialy in the intense competitive world. So they can check for you and report how about the quality when the products at supplier factory.
For personal, they buy small volume products from ebay, online china wholesale, or alibaba. So they have more chance to meet scams. Even ebay have star status, alibaba has gold member. Many guys still tricked.
So when you find a good product at alibaba or ebay, agentandgo can help you to buy. Test products and send them to your address directly.
Even you want to find a product, they can also find it for you!
For all what they do, they only get commistion according to your order value!

THEY WILL NOT TELL ME WHAT COMPANY OR COMPANIES REPORTED MY COMPANY AS A SPAMMER, THEY WILL NOT INVESTIGATE THE ISSUE OR TELL ME WHY I AM A SPAMMER OR TELL ME WHAT I DID WRONG. I NEVER SPAMMED ANYONE. I MAKE INDIVIDUAL INQUIRIES AND SOMETIMES A BUYING REQUEST IN THE INTERFACE THEY PROVIDE. Alibaba fraud

Buyer beware about alibaba.com

I have tried on three separate occasions to purchase a nikon camera and lens on alibaba.com. Each time the merchant was friendly and helpful until the transaction was complete. I was assured that the item would be shipped quickly.in each instance I never recieved the items ordered. I was ripped off by the merchant. I am now working with paypal (not really helpful) and my credit card company to reverse the charges. When I contacted alibaba.com they told me if I win a law suite against the merchant, they will remove them from its web site. Until alibaba.com does a better job policing its site, I would not use it.

You are the leaders who are primarily alibaba thieves, scammers and their methods more sophisticated are your rabateurs. I "concluded that over here goes, the more there a. Alibaba cheating supplier of mobile phones

I was looking to buy original mobile phones and psp consoles at Alibaba. I found this supplier asked his quotation. We were using only Alibaba Trade manager. I asked about his company credibility. He gave me his company's certificate of incorporation. He also gave me their recent shipment tracking numbers as [protected], [protected], [protected] (fedex.com). Then, he sent me proforma invoice confirming their acceptance of my order and asked me to send payment via western union. I insisted to use Alipay escrow service but refused and said as this order is very small amount, he cannot even accept payment via bank transfer. So I sent the payment of GBP 252.00. He took away my payment. Now he says, his boss doesn't approve my shipment as I have to meet minimum of 10 quantities. He never told about this before. Once he got my payment now he is asking me to meet their 10 qty minimum order. He is insisting to send remaining money then only he can ship my order. I told him that I don’t want their product and asked him to refund my money. But he is again and again insisting me to meet their 10 qty minimum order and send balance amount via western union again. He said he cannot refund my money. I told him that I would complain this about relevant authority if he refuses to send my money back. But he says he can neither send refund nor send my products. I have all his email correspondence, proof of payment, his proforma invoice and his company’s certificate of incorporation.

Alibaba - scammers

Alibaba.com (trade website) are the biggest crooks ever! Alibaba allows any company that advertises on their website to buy "gold/platnium and premium" membership logo's to advertise on their site for $300-$500, therefore, the customer thinks it's a reputable company. When you do business with these so called platnium membership companies and get scammed...

You must do homework on the credibility of online suppliers before you buy, just as you would with real-life business partners. Alibaba is only a platform between the buyers and the suppliers, nothing more. They do not own inventory but simply connect buyers with sellers.

I strongly suggest buyers do some thorough research before dealing with online suppliers. Use escrow as a form of payment instead of Western Union is the easiest way to protect yourself. If you want to learn how to protect yourself, feel free to browse through Alibaba forum.

Alibaba fraud suppliers in the website

Thank you for your advise. However, I realize that "terminating the supplier from Alibaba" is the only thing that could do in case of fradulent suppliers. If this is the case, how does someone TRUST on any of the suppliers or so-called "GOLD SUPPILIERS" of Alibaba. How will someone ever rely any of the suppliers of Alibaba and send them amount?

Before sending money to the supplier, I did enquire Alibaba about HK Longkang, and Alibaba Customer Service recommended that HK Longkang is one of the GOLD SUPPLIERS and they are trustworthy.

I will make most of my efforts in all possibilities to refrain people from all parts of the world to refrain relying on Alibaba and all its suppliers, as almost all the suppliers you have are fake suppliers, cheating money from people around the globe. Disgusting! Never again with Alibaba or any of its suppliers.

Dear Felice,

As informed you earlier, I could not communicate with the supplier "HK Longkang" by any means. They are not available through phone - their phone is switched off all the time. They are also not available through email or online chat or even through Alibaba chat.

Looks like they have absconded.

Thanks,

Hello Felice,

Please find enclosed the scanned "trade dispute agreement" that has been filled with my own handwriting with all the details and my signature in it. Also attached are the Bank Wire Transfer details and money transfer receipt, the email communication between me and HK Longkang representative, the invoice provided by them and also their company's price list.

Please do the needful and make sure that the products are sent to me by HK Longkang. The amount that I had spent, US Dollar one thousand one hundred (US $1100) is not a small amount for a person of my caliber and that I have had to take a loan to send this money to this supplier for the products. Considering this in mind, kindly help me out to sort the issue.

Thank you so much for your involvement in the dispute and appropriate action. Kindly acknowledge receipt of this email.

Best regards,

Well i experienced same with Made-in-china and Alibaba. I never received my order and found quite costly. From then on i moved with ChinaBuye.com, so far no complaints with them. They do prompt service and delivery. Satisfied with them and rates are quite cheaper with this online store from china.
