Aldo purse

Dear concern,

I went to Makkah -Saudi Arabia in August and bought a red colour bag from Aldo on sale. After returning to my home land Pakistan I used the bag twice and now the Zip has broken .i have been a very loyal customer of Aldo but I was seriously very disappointed by the quality.
I am not sure if it was a defected product which was sold on sale or what but as a customer I am really dissatisfied with the quality.

Aldo shoes

I bought a shoes from Aldo shop in Makkah city in Abraj albeit complex for 400 saudi riyals. Since then there is a sound coming from the left pair while touching the ground. This sound is not coming from the right pair. I visited the branch but the female employee after confirming the problem said this is the first time to face such a strange issue but she can do nothing!
Please I need a reply for this issue. Either to assign someone to fix the problem or to give me another pair. Thanks.

Aldo complain about service - unethical behaviour

On 19th September, I was at Aldo Westfield Uk near Shepherd bush and was trying to purchase a pair of black and gold sandals. I saw a lot of scratches on te presented shoes and asked the store seller, a lady to bring a brand new pair of shoes which I wanted to purchased instantly. But after checking they told me that the only shoe on store was available but that one was defective and I asked for a discount because I liked the shoes. The lady asked for the manager, the shoes worthed 35 pounds and he decided to deduct to 25 roughly around 10pound discount if I am not mistaken. I decided to take them and we went to the cash counter. She then asked me to pay the full price which I did not understand, I told her that the manager made a discound and she added that after all they found a brand new pair in the store which she did not communicated to me until I asked. I requested to check it before I pay and I saw the same scratches on both shoes this time. Confused, I ask them the reasons of those imperfections and again speechless she ask the approval of her manager which he replied rudely to her in front of me to tell me to take it or leave it because he was tired of it. I was completely shocked to witness tat kind of behaviour in such a known brand. Furious, I told them that it wasn't the way to speak to a customer and that he was utterly rude and unprofessionnal and left. This person used his power of manager of the store to behave as he wish and tarnished the name, brand and reputation of Aldo. Such a deception of this store that I used to purchase for years now around the wold and never have I experienced something like that.

Aldo shoe

On April 2018, I bought beige shoes and attached pictures and after less than a month the small part below the shoe was broken and I sent it to the Aldo store to be repaired with Aldo original parts, after using it only once it wasn't comfortable and the bottom of the plastic was changed for the second time and The shoe became completely uncomfortable and Aldo refused to replace it with another, unfortunately another issue happened also in my black sandal after wearing twice I found a cut in the buckle as shown in the attached pictures.
The serial numbers of my shoes were also attached.

I would appreciate your support for changing it to another new or returning my money again.

I look forward to your response and resolution to my problem.

Aldo refusing to exchange my ankle boots

I have recently bought ankle boots from Aldo. I am a long-time customer.
On Sunday I went into the store and was making a decision on which pair to boots to buy. One of the store employees stated that the leather will stretch out because I stated it was hurting on top. She said I can buy them walk around in my house and if I don't like them to come back and exchange them or get the other pair that I was choosing between. So I did that I walked in my house for 30-45min in them. I realized that they hurt my upper leg and it went purple. I came back 3 days later and they refused to exchange my boot to another one that cost more. They stated that it looks like you wore them outside but I didn't I followed the advice that was given to me. To keep in mind it was the last pair and it was taken off the shelf. The employee said that why didn't you return them if they looked like that at the dole of the boots. I was not able to come. What made me more frustrated is that they sold me a pair of boots that I was not able to exchange. I understand the return policy because My family and I always purchase expensive shoes sandals and bags from there. I am disappointed because now I have a 140 dollar pair of boots that I can't wear nor exchange. A friend of mine said I should contact the head office and ask them for help. If I do not get an answer I will never shop there and tell my friends and family members that there better services else where. Anyways thank you for your understanding

Aldo men’s sandals

Bought a pair of men's grey elastane sandals while on holiday from the Mall of Muscat in Oman.
Within a month the sandals started giving way. Fraying, tearing and coming apart.
Extremely shoddy workmanship and an extremely poor reflection of a well reputed shoes maker brand like Aldo's.
Needless to say people in contact with me will be made aware of this disappointing experience and we will mot hesitate to share this incident on a public platform.
I do hope to receive some sort of a satisfactory explanation from representatives of Aldo's and hope also to be offered compensation.

Aldo aldo shoes

As I would like to continue my purchase from Aldo I am not sure whether I will get same problem on my shoes chosen. I used to wear Aldo shoes some time more than 2 years but now I don't know what to do. For your info I got pair of boot I use it during 10 years in winter season and still using them.

Hi As I am regular user for Aldo shoes and always have beeb satisfied by quality and designs and ve y much comfrtable shoes si I got a pair of shoes about months ago which could send you photo of damaged on the top of sho worn. I wondered how come in a period of 6 months the shoes become worth.

Aldo inappropriate music been played in your store in sunrise, fl sawgrass mills

Just to inform you that I was at your store in Sunrise Florida with my wife and kids and the music that was been played was very inappropriate for a business where families go shopping with. Very sexual orientated song with very vivid details about the way he likes the way that the Venezolana f***s him and how the Dominican shakes her A**. I'm sorry but this music for this type of business is very offensive and inappropriate. Hope that in the future when and if I ever walk into one of your stores the music has changed for the better this is not a place that I would recommend to my family and friends since I have been offended by walking into your store to make a purchase of a new pair of shoes.

Aldo store experience

I visited Aldo outlet at Infinity Mall (Malad), Mumbai, India. I was looking for some accessories. As soon as I entered the store, I asked the person there if I could click a picture of the accesories for personal use. He gave the permission. Finally I found something of interest and clicked a picture. Suddenly a man in suit( manager) came up to me and in an extremely rude tone asked me if I clicke a picture. I said yes. In further rude tone he asked me if i had taken persmission to which I said yes and showed him the person who gave me the permission. He then arrogantly walked away without even apologising as his tone was way too rude. Later the other person came up to me and requested me not to take pictures which was fine with me. This experience was so rude and negative that I left the shop immediately after.
I was wondering if the managers are not taught any etiquettes about talking to customers. I felt they should be given training of first communicating with their juniors and only then approaching the customers. Also a bit of polite tone would be appreciated.

Aldo shoes exchange

Today Evening I bought Shoes & Sleepers on sale. I thought I should go for another pair of shoes instead of Slippers. I went back to Aldo, Select Citywalk Saket, Delhi, India to exchange the sleepers with new pair of shoes.

I was back in the store within 15 minutes & requested the manager to exchange the slippers with New Pair of shoes, he bluntly said no. The Manager is not even hospitable while interacting and seems too rude. Can anyone help me to get this exchange. Please contact me @ [protected] or [protected]@gmail.com

Aldo shoe

I visited Aldo- Dolmen Mall Clifton, Karachi and picked a shoe. I requestd for the fresh pair as one piece (left side) was dull in color and shinning due to unknown reasons but that was the last piece available at the store.
I did not take interest in buying the shoe for Rs: 16291( PKR) with a defect in colour so the floor manager convinced me and insisted to buy the shoe. I told him I would come back with my sibling or mother and then would decide whether I should buy it or not but the floor manager convinced me to purchase it and committed if your brother or sibling or any family member is not satisfied with the show. I will get this back. Same thing happened and I visited store for other shoe as I needed it for my brother's ring ceremony held in the next week but could not find anything at Aldo. I then requested them to refund me as committed becuase I was not buying the shoe at first. They said please keep your shoe and receipt with us and we will contact head office for the same and will deposit the money back to your account. I have been calling them multiple times again and again but there is no response. The manager named as ‘Narmen' blocked my contact number and now I am unable to reach them.
I live in Sukkur and the store is located in Karachi. It's 8hours away from Sukkur.
I never expected a well known brand like Aldo to treat the customers in this way. I an really very disappointed with the behaviour.
Kindly do the needful in this case.

Aldo service

I purchased a bag for my daughter on 15-07-2018 from ALDO store NOIDA, Mall of Indian.
After 30 mins we went back to the store for exchange which mr. gajinder or Rajinder who was the manager at the store not only refused to exchange the bag but was very impolite.

They didn't mention about the exchange nor it was mentioned on the bill.

When we mentioned this he replied "kya proof hai apke pass, next time bill main likh denge"
We don't expect such replies from a manger
He also said" jao jakke ek ek staff se puchlo exchange nahi hai" that was so humiliating, plus the grooming and the slang was also not good. He wasn't comfortable with English language.

After such a coversation I cannot smile back at the man and obviously we'll be angry because our money is invested. He replies back "aapko tamiz nahi hai and he was extremely egoistic"

We understand that it's very difficult for a person to deal with so many customers.
But he could have politely spoken to us, every other store offers exchange, all brands under major brands do so we didn't understand what was the issue.

Please understand our perspective also.
ALDO is brand its not a street shop but if it doesn't offer exchange then it should either put a sign board or mention it on the bill.

And most importantly please check with this person, cause we have never experienced such behaviour from any brand ever.
We don't care about the exchange but such behaviour is not tolerable.

Just because you were told no does not mean that the manager was impolite. Your own English is not that great either. You mistake being told "no" as rude. Not to mention after reading your post, your English is not that great either. I am sure he spoke to you in a polite way, but you are mistaking being told no as rude.

Aldo service

I went to return a shoe. The shoe was in the wrong box and I had no receipt. I knew this was an issue and asked the sales associate if she could look it up by my card or email and they said no but that I should be able to search Aldo in email to see if I got a digital receipt. I searched and found the receipt handed my phone (wallet) to the supervisor, Kay. She asked me to confirm the card, I told her I couldn't unless she gave me my phone back. Kay then said "you know what i am not going to process your return and I will call mall security to have you escorted out of the store." She handed my phone to me and walked away. I was in such shock, I was so embarrassed. I left the store and got mall security myself to submit a complaint and then called customer care submit a formal complaint to the company. I have no heard anything back from Aldo's although I have called 8 times and have left two messages for the General manager. I am confused and upset.

Aldo aldo bag

Hi,

I got a bag from Mumbai, India a couple of months ago. The store manager did not give me any bill with the bag saying the print machine is not working so she would whats app me the bill the next day.

She never messaged me the bill, never answered my calls nothing. Today I have the bag without a bill, if something happens to the bag or for my own taxation process it's gonna be so so difficult without the bill.

Really disappointed and surprised with this kinda laid back attitude.

Aldo unethical behavior

I want to start off by saying that Aldo shoes is my favorite shoe store to shop in, I absolutely love it! However, my many experiences at the Northlake mall location in Charlotte, NC isn't so lovely. I work in retail and I hold proper customer service in high regard, its very important to me but it seems that every time I enter that specific store I deal with less service than I would want, mostly every time I step foot in that store I am the one introducing myself, the workers don't seem happy and they make it seem like the customer is a bother to them- they hardly say a word.

My last recent visit, I came in the store to purchase new shoes for work and I found a pair that really liked- again hardly any service. I tried on the shoe in two different sizes and came to the decision on the perfect size, however upon choosing that particular shoe, I had notice that there was string hanging from it. I asked the associate to exchange the shoe, if possible for a different shoe. The associate, very dismissively stated that they only carry one of each size which I knew had to be a lie and made me feel like she just wanted a sale- I mean how is that possible when hundreds of people walk in the store asking for the same shoe? She suggested that she can cut the string but after she tried, it looked pretty bent so reluctantly I ordered a pair online. I came in to return the shoe because I found a better pair and the same associate gave me a hard time returning it, because I didn't have the paper receipt but the e-mail confirmation and requested if she can look me up via credit card.. she said it would be hard...after a while she refunded my money. I don't know her name but she has red hair.

I really don't like to complain and potentially compromise anyone's job, however as a customer I would like to be treated as if I mattered, again I understand the stress of an associate (being one myself) at times but I would never take my personal feelings and distribute it amongst the customers. May I suggest a re-training on the store culture with your associates and hopefully that would help? (Not meaning to sound arrogant) I don't experience this behavior at any other Charlotte store but because I live in Northlake that mall would be preferred. Thank you so much for your time and help!

If you really understood the stress of being an associate, you would not feel that you were mistreated simply because you were told they don't have anymore shoes in your size, or given a hard time because you did not have a proper receipt. I am sure wherever you work the rules for returns are the same. Hopefully when you tell a customer that they are not allowed an exchange, or that an item is not in stock, they mistake it as poor service and accuse you of taking out your feelings on someone else. Hopefully they complain about you and say that you need retraining. Your whole assitude shows how uneducated you are. You do sound arrogant, and if you are going to be a difficult customer take your attitude out on your coworkers, so they can see what you are really like.

You are only ASSuming that the associate is lying. Where do you work. If you work in retail I want to go to your store, and be a rude customer to you, like you were to the shoe associate. If hundreds of people are asking for the same shoe, then it would be sold out. I guess you were not very smart when you went to school, which is why you work in retail. If you really worked in retail, you would know that you need a proper receipt to do a return. Hopefully one day you are doing a return, and have to deal with a customer like yourself who gives you a hard time because you refuse to accept the return because they did not have a proper receipt. Just let her do her job. Grow up, how would you feel if a customer gave you a hard time simply for doing your job. You deserve to get a customer like yourself where you work.

Great reply. I would think that someone who works in retail would have more empathy and be more understanding about items running out return policy. It would be great to see where he or she works and be a disgruntled and abusive customer if things do not go our way. The OP deserves to be disrespected by customers like himself/herself.

Aldo customer service of the store in oakridge mall, san jose

The manager of that store is such a rude person. I bought a pair of shoes from another location of aldo, but the sales person forgot to put both pairs in. When I got home and wanted to try them, I realized there is only one pair in the box. After calling the store, they told me I have to go back in-person to get it and they wont send it to me, even tho it was not my fault. That location was too far from me, so they told me you can go to the location near you and they will help you. When I went to the location in oakridge mall, the manager was so rude and had such a bad attitude. She was raising her voice on me saying they cannot do anything about it and that I have to go back to the original location. It was so frustrating. I wasted my time to go to that location because the person on the phone told me, but now I was being treated [censored] for something that was not even my fault. At the end the manager said give me your number I will call you on monday to let you know what we can do (still with such a bad attitude and without making eye contact). Of course, she never called me.

Next time I went there, again got treated with such a bad attitude from the same person and I was so shocked. I am such a good customer for aldo and I always buy so many things. But I will never go to that store ever again until that person is still working there.

Aldo aldo shoes

Purchased some beige Aldo shoes and I loved them and they were NOT cheap. They got a little wet in the rain and the RED lining inside the shoes bled all over the outside of the shoes and ruined them. I sent letter explaining situation and pictures to Aldo and Aldo says "not a manufacture defect" & there is nothing they will do about it. I will NEVER buy another shoe from this company again.

Aldo customer service

Literally was in the store about 10 min and nobody greeted us the whole time. I had a hand in my shoe for a size and no one asked me for help still. I walked around with the shoe to gain some attention and still no assistance. My bf said not to even ask for help because it was clear that there was discriminatory behavior as seen on another review for this store. On the way out a girl smirked at me so I asked her who the manager was. She started not to tell me and say she wasn't sure who the store manager was. I asked for a manager and she said her name was ciara. I will surely be calling tomorrow for her because when I put the shoe back the sales associate who refused to greet us fixed the shoe but had never asked if we needed help. Disgusting!

Aldo service at aldo-fairview mall toronto, on

I was at the Fairview mall Aldo hoping to do an exchange, when I got there I didn't find the shoes I saw at the STC...so instead of holding onto the shoes I had, I just wanted a refund.

I had worn the shoes once, and was honest about it. The cashier on duty was very very nice (tall young brunette with braces) but Than the sales associate helping me starting looking at the shoes...and before the cashier who was helping me said anything...the sales associate beside her said "it's worn" with an attitude. This sales associate is short, bi-racial (I think black and Asian) and has very curly hair with blonde highlights.

She made me feel like I was going to fight her for it. The cashier repeated what she said with a smile and said sorry. I came in with good intention, so I told the cashier "I understand and thank you"

I'm not writing to get something out of this, just for your company to know...

Customer service is so important nowadays. Your team is a reflection of the company and if you have a sale associate who brings her own misery to work and addresses a customer when it wasn't their concern and Ina distasteful way...than let her go.

I've always like Aldo, now I will never come back.

Aldo my complaint is about a pair of sneakers shoe I purchased like two months ago only wear them once

A pair black and white sneaker shoe they was 70 dollars on sale they made me a big blister in the back of foot I would like a sticker to return them I will submit u reciept from credit card bill never had this experience I'm a 48 yr old who is disable and hav lots sneaker hav a lot never had this tried to put them on and couldn't make it to the door
