Albertsons entire store

The store at 660 Bailey Road in Bay Point CA is the worst store in Contra Costa County. This store has expired food on the shelves, very un healthy conditions, poor attitude employees, way to long of lines at anytime of day, bums and thugs smoking weed on the store grounds harassing patrons who shop there, the Manger is part of the problem, and the list goes on and on. If you can't fix the store, blow it up and build a store that can provide for the growing community it is placed in. This is a matter that needs immediate attention and if me or my wife buy one more expired item from that store again we will be owning a lot more than that expired product. Attention NOW PLEASE SOSOSOS!

Albertsons express lanes are not express

When shopping at Albertsons in El Paso, TX, each store has about 2 express lanes for 15 items or less. On several occasions I have stood in the express line as a person in front of me has up to 25-30 items. When I ask the teller why they didn't turn the person away, every answer has been; "when we turn them away, they complain to corporate and we get reprimanded." I have not only heard this from only 1 teller, but several. To me, it would seem that either you need to start backing up your employees when people complain about having to go to another lane that is not express, or remove the express lanes from your stores. Thank you for your time and I hope to hear back from someone soon.

Albertsons employees hired by albertsons

At the check out line two janitors walked in pointed at my sister and laughed and continued to stare at her. It was not only rude but very disrespectful. My sister served 8 years in the military, suffers from PTSD and does not need this type interaction when visiting your store. I spoke to a cashier and manager, they did not know what company they worked for when I asked.

Albertsons unethical behavior

March Wednesday 14, 2018

I have been a costumer of Albertsons in Carpinteria, CA for as long as it opened. I've have a big family, and I also work as a teacher at a private boarding school, for which I also get a lot of produce from Albertsons.

The past year I've been disappointed several times with the way the supermarket was low in produce but, more than anything, about the way some workers have treated costumers, especially if they weren't white. I have spoken directly to them about what I saw and talked to several managers about it.

On Wednesday, there was something that happened directly to me that raised a lot of questions for me to whether I will continue going back to Albertsons. I ultimately decided to write this complain.

I went to return a product that I didn't like. Albertsons was low on dishwasher products and didn't have the one I use so I got another brand that was suggested to me by one of the lovely ladies that work at Albertsons. But I didn't like it, so I wanted to return it. The woman who was at the returning counter was this old lady (I believe her name is Meg?) with long whitish/gray hair. This is the same woman who I had seen acting racist and very
inappropriate towards a Mexican woman and a young black man before. She left with the product, and came back after a few minutes telling me that the manager had told her they could not accept the return. I asked if it was because I didn't have the receipt with me, because I could certainly could get it, but she started speaking loudly to me saying: "This product has been open. We can't get the money back. What do you want us to do with it. Ehhh?" At this point, embarrassed and upset, I left, got all the things I had to buy, and at the register, after I paid, I asked to speak to the manager.

Jacqueline, the manager that day, or that afternoon, came after a long long wait. At this point, my husband was with me as well as my two little kids. She is an awkward young woman who doesn't look at you when speaking. I only mention this because it's relevant to what happened. I am used to speaking and teaching all sorts of different personalities, but her demeanor didn't help her words. When I explained why I wanted to speak with her, she said that Meg (?) asked her about what she should do because she had seen me several times before making returns. Though that wasn't true, I wanted to make sure I understood what the suggestion was. So I asked to please explained. So Jacqueline repeated, to my husband and my astonishment, that they make decisions about returning on a one to one basis, and Meg (?) told her I had returned things in the past. I should mentioned that I have a foreign accent because I grew up in France and Spain, and though I am white, I think that played a big role on how Meg (?) treated me. My husband got quite upset, and asked for clarification. My husband is white, tall and educated as well, and at that point Jacqueline started to mumble and said that she maybe can give store credit if I bring the receipt, since we were so upset.

At that point, I was so embarrassed by the entire thing, that I told Jacqueline that I was leaving but that I was going to talk to someone else about this treatment, to what she said that she is the manager and she makes the decisions. All of this without really looking at us, and in a very broken (uneducated) English.

What I am looking for is for an apology, from Jacqueline and Meg (?) to be on probation and transfer to another facility. Otherwise, I am willing to take things further, and being a well-known member of this Carpinteria community, I will spread the word.

Albertsons chicken

I had bought chicken and the first couple pieces were very nice and delicious until I bit into a wing, I bit it and I was pulling away from the chicken I saw what appears to be a dark medium/short length hair in the bite I took. I just ask for the workers that are in the kitchen to please make sure cover up well so this doesn't occur and I inundating that sometimes accidents occur but try to not let this happens again cause the chicken is amazing. Albertsons nestle cream light

I bought in Jan 2018 cans of cream and food from Albertsons Rancho California rd. Temecula

After a few weeks I opened one can and ate it with Fruit. At 4am I woke up with a severe allergy, my throat was closing, itching so much, my arms were itching red up to my armpits, my ankles, start coughing so much. I couldn't breath well, I took Benadryl next day I checked the product it was expired 2016 all cans I bought.

I continue taking Benadryl, I make an appt with my doctor. Lab blood test, food poison from this product. Now I am in treatment for the allergy. I will put a complain with my attorney.

Albertsons pharmacy, rude, incapable and lazy.

Pharmacy tech was given a prescription for my son who has many mental health issues. The tech did not even place the order for the prescription as she promised and waited till the next day after I came in to pick it up to then argue with me and tell me " Your son is the only person on that medication " and then basically shoo me off. The next day when I called to make sure the script had been filled they tell me it's for 1/2 what the Doctor ordered and then hung up on me when I questioned it. If this is the kind of customer service my family and I have to look forward too, we will simply start shopping elsewhere. Not at all satisfied.

Albertsons albertsons/ end of aisle wire racks

I was pushing the shopping cart and turned down the pasta aisle, Well there was some coming out of aisle so I went wide. And when I did that the wire racked sliced into the top of my right hand. I went to a register to get some paper towels, well he ended up being the manager and so I filled out incident report he took picture above me copy. Did not offer any medical help or care.

Albertsons manager

I went to the Albertsons in Morro Bay ca this morning to get sugar. I've already been treated like [censor] several times before but I was in a hurry and didn't wann pay 6 bucks for sugar at the gas station so I stoped at Albertsons. As soon as I got to the checkout here she came. This ugly, fat, stinky four eyed nasty [censor] manager that has been awful not only to me but my family and all my friends. She called me a no good n[censor]. All I was doing was paying with a legit check. She was so nasty an bitter. I will never go back to Albertsons and I will tell everyone an I mean everyone to stay clear of that awful place. Get a life nasty [censor]. I will have her job before the end of the week an I will be opening a lawsuit on Albertsons because of this [censor].

Albertsons customer service/employee relations

I recently was shopping at Safeway on 1017 york rd when i heard a guy who had seen around the store say "i wish i could hire only white people" & i also heard them discussing having sexual relations inside of the store with another manager. I wrote this complainant because it is highly inappropriate & unprofessional in my opinion to hear the store manager going around talking about sex & being racist i'm honestly gonna have to stop shopping at that Safeway & any other Safeway because i won't give my money to a racist company & i can only assume your ok with this man's employment within your company so be sure to see a drop in sales because im going to tell everyone i know not to shop with you.

Albertsons a supervisor

Her name is Sally and she works at the Albertsons on ustick and five mile. She is the rudest and worst supervisor I have ever seen. She dresses like a slob, talks very loud and hick like and very rude. She is horrible to her crew members and customers. She chews her gum like a cow and thats bot even the worst part. She actually thinks it's okay to talk out loud about how she allows her under age kids to drink and smoke pot! I have overheard this a couple times because I am a regular. I try to avoid ever going through her line or to the store at all when she is present. I can't believe she is a supervisor. I will continue to complain til she is taken down from a supervisor. You seriously should go in and look at the way this person works. She is an embarrassment. Her talking about the drugs and alcohol that she lets her kids do is unbelievable! I hope something is done and until it is like I said I will continue to complain.

Albertsons asparagus

I bought asparagus 2 days ago at store #3333 in Las Vegas, NV. I came home and placed the item vertically in cold water to preserve freshness. Two days later the asparagus looked wilted and the tops were were flared-out. I always place them with the heal down in cold water and never experienced any problems. Today my wife brought them back to the produce dept. The man accused my wife that it was our fault that caused the problem. She was also told that she probably bought the asparagus at Smith's. She asked if he was implying that she was lying and that he would swap one for another.
My wife and I spend thousands of dollars at this store each year. I can truthfully state that his behavior was appalling and totally unprofessional. Your produce dept has put out some of the worst produce I have ever seen: apples that are rotten inside, onions that are black inside, wilted lettuce, etc, etc. I will be telling all of my friends that shop there of what my wife experienced today. Rude behavior my your employee and total disrespect to the customer toward my wife.

Albertsons rain check for powerade zero

Well after renewing my raincheck for powerade zero 4 times i received the product this week. Many visits and phone calls on my part to check on availability. This shouldnt have been this hard. I have ordered case product before without a problem. No one called to let me know there was a problem just kept saying they would call on Monday or Friday after delivery. Not good customer service.

Albertsons rotten meat

Yesterday at the 1653 S Vista Ave Boise 83705 store, we purchased almost $300 in food. When we entered the store, we had used your hand wipes because of the flu season. I mention this because it is important. We bought our food and thought the awful smell was coming from the wipes. As we got in our car and left the store, the smell got worse and worse. When we got home and unpacked our groceries, our entire kitchen and living area filled with this odor. When we got to the plastic bag with the Pork Ribs, we gagged. We had picked up 2 packages of pork ribs that were rotten. We didn't obviously smell this in the store or we would have not purchased them. We returned them quickly to the Park Center store which is closer to our home. Our car, clothes and house still reek of this odor. I have totally lost faith in Albertsons at this point. I want to make sure that someone at this store is held accountable. Food that is in this state and spoiled this profoundly could have made someone very ill. Again, we thought the smell was coming from the wipes and it was on our hands. I would like an explanation. Please call the Park Center Albertsons store and ask them about the return as the look on the person's face when we asked them to take a look, told the entire story. Albertsons check out time

the check out time at the Carpinteria Albertson's is the longest of any grocery store in which I have shopped. I know that this is almost a universal complaint and urge management to look into the causes and correct them. Although the Check stand personnel are always very nice and polite, my observations center around too much conversation as well as general confusion over pricing or some other issue which delays checkout almost every time i have been in the store. There are also too few check out stands open at busy times.

Albertsons cashier

For years now I have been a regular at Albertsons on N. MAIN I just love how welcoming the employees make you feel. I've never had an issue until my last two times I've shopped there and both times the cashier I went through was a young female full of tattoos and she was beyond rude! The first time I went through her line I thought maybe she was having a bad day but the second time she continued to be rude and rolled her eyes at me. I was not impressed with the customer service I received those last two times.

Albertsons customer follow up

Store #597, Irvine, CA.
For at least 8 years I have shopped exclusively at this store. We buy all our groceries, liquor, wine, produce, meat and fish there. In particular I enjoy the choice of chicken wings they have.
People and their attitudes have always been terrific.

Unfortunately I still smoke and am also loyal to a particular brand. In early January they did not have. Two days later still no. I complained. Yet when I came back still not in stock. I complained to 3 different people. When I came back they did have. Thought all resolved. A few days later, out of them again.
I told supervisor they had seen the last of me. I am 73 and use a cane so inconvenient to make an extra stop just to pick up smokes

I think management needs to be told and maybe they can take steps to correct. I ran several businesses for years and hated to lose a good customer if I knew what to do to retain them.
I doubt Albertsons will miss my several hundred a month but there may be others who give up on them as well.

Albertsons goya canned coconut milk

On February 1sts I wen to the Albertson locates on the 4126 S Carrier Pkwy
Grand Prairie, TX 75052 to buy a can of coconut milk. When I got home to use the coconut milk and I opened the can I noticed that it was hard like cream cheese type so I thought I had gotten the wrong kind, well I looked at the expiration date on the Can and it's dated back to 05/27/2017! So I went to back to the store and I tell the cashier that I need to exchange the milk. When I got to the shelves to get the coconut milk I see that ALL of the cans of Goya coconut milk on the shelves are expired. I looked I've to the canned Goya beans and they're also expired. Some of the expiration's dates on the cans of product dates back to may of 2016. I don't speak with no manager but the cashier guy came and immediately took the spoiled/ expired product off the shelves. In pass times I've also baught meat from the deli and the meat has been spoiled and gone bad. That store needs to have and unexpected audit done to see what's going on.

Albertsons unpleasant and unproductive customer service

Today I called the Albertsons store at 520 128th St.in Everett looking for a specific brand on liquor. I just left the mill Creek store and they were out so I wanted to make sure it was in stock before commuting.

The 1st lady I spoke with named Kelly answered the phone and I advised my request. The first thing she proceeded to tell me was that they are a grocery store and that she isn't very familiar with the liquor there but she can ask someone to check and placed me on hold.

I was tempted to hang up because I was offended by her condescending remark suggesting I didn't know the store I called was a grocery store even though she answered confirming I reached Albertsons. But, because the request is a gift I waited.

She returned to the phone to advise she was going to hand the phone to a service clerk to find it. The service clerk and I shared a series of "hello's" back and forth until she handed the phone back to Kelly saying she couldn't hear me.

Kelly asked me to tell her what I was looking for. I gave her a very detailed description including the brand, type of liquor, age, and size. She placed me on hold again and returned shortly after explaining again that she doesn't know much about the liquor but she found it. I asked her how much it was and her response was it depends on the size. "The tall ones about $48" Is what she said. I asked if there's anyway she could check the price for the size I asked her when I told her what I was looking for and she advised she can't be going back in forth in Ilses looking for something because she has other customers.

I was under the impression that Albertsons had customer service lines to assist phone requests. Am I incorrect? I did dial "0" In the service prompt. I provided as much information about the product as I possibly could and made clear that I'm looking to buy something. I've worked in customer care personally for the past 20 years and I can't think of a single person looking for something that doesn't want to know how much it costs. I honestly feel like I could have received better service and attitudes from the employees that work here. I'd greatly appreciate of I could receive some feedback on this situation. If the associates behavior is condusive to your customer service care ideals, I want to ensure that my family, friends and I are aware of the new laxness in your previously exceptional service to your patrons.

Albertsons lack of bubbies sauerkraut

Albertsons on S. China Lake used to carry Bubbies. We got them to order another order. It sold out and now they tell us it isn't available. What makes you different from Walmart if you only sell the products that sell in big quantities everywhere else? Why would I shop at Albertsons and not Walmart 'across' the street if you have the same products? I shop at Albertsons because I expect higher quality and those products that Walmart won't stock and a produce aisle that looks fresh and is grown locally and organic whenever possible. I don't want to loose Albertsons to Walmart. Please allow special orders for customers.
