Albertsons customer service

I am not one who normally makes a formal complaint but today I have to put my foot down. I have received terrible customer service on multiple occasions now. The employees who I try to ask questions to have little to NO knowledge of where things are kept or what deals are being offered as well as having no knowledge of your just for u program. I don't expect them to know everything but how little they do know has been shocking. Not only is the information lacking but I get the distinct feeling that they also really don't care. I have been treated in an extremely rude manor several times and did not get the information or product I came in for. The other major concern is how long it takes to check out at your stores including your sister store vons. I went in for ONE item yesterday and it took me an entire HOUR to get through the check out lines which incidentally caused a separate bag of groceries in my car to spoil. You DO NOT have enough checkers and the ones you do have seem to be working in slow motion. I have been a faithful customer for over a decade and cannot believe how much your stores have gone downhill. I will NOT be shopping with your companies any longer if this is the way things continue. I hope you can do something to right these wrongs. Thank you.

Albertsons loss and prevention

On october 16 2016 I was shopping at local store on West university, my husband was standing outside by the red box due to the fact that we had purchased other items at a different store and did not want to enter the albertsons store with these other bags of purchases, so that the employees of this store would not suspect you of shoplifting. I do have a record of shoplifting so I know that carrying bags causes suspicion. So I enter the store and I'm not sure where to go to purchase chorizo and sour cream because I have not been in alberstons due to their high prices and snobby attitude at this store . So I am going thru back main action alley stopping at each aisle looking for the items I was after, I notice that employees are glancing at me with suspious looks. I finally find the sour cream first I grab it and turn around avnd see the chorizo so I get it. I do put both these items in my purse, Cuz now I've decided to locate the chips and get some and I do not have a basket and recently had a back injury. I see an employee and ask where chips are he directs me to that aisle and as I get to that aisle I remember I was going to check price of allergy tablet here so I don't get chips and proceed to pharmacy area when my phone rings. I see the manager standing by door talking with another custoner. I grab my phone and answer it and I start rummaging thru my purse to find my credit card, when a man not in uniform walks up behind me and States I need to accompany him Cuz I hve unpaid merchandise in my bag. I say yes I do and I'm going togopay for it now I have not left the store and was right by a full table of merchandise in fact. I try to explain to him I am going to pay for items but he continues to accuse me of this, so I tell him here is the chorizo uvan have it and then grab your cream from pursr and put on the table of merchandise and tell him he can have it I will go elsewhere and I try to go around him to leave the store. Heblocks my way and then physically puts his hands-on me and tries to take my purse. I tell him he ca n not touch me especially since I had done nothing wrong, he says he can do whatever he wants to me. So isidestep him all the way to door with him grabbing and pulling on me with the female manager in tow. My husband sees this man not in uniform grabbing on his wife so the first instinct of a loving husband is come to her side to help her. My husband grabs my purse and the loss and prevention guy has me too, it ISA tug of war with me in the middle. My husband tells the guy to let me go. The prevention guy days I have to go back in store, I tell my husband I do not have anything so my husband yellsthe guy again to let go, by this time another shopper gets involved as well as anoff duty employee starts to pull on me. The manager sees this all and calls in a robbery in progress? Robbery I didn't even steal a piece of gum. The manager sees the situation is getting hectic and violent so she shouts to prevention guy to let me go. The guy does let me go but he hits my husband inthe face and my husband just States everyone seen that was an assault. We grabour bags by the redbox and walk off to go home. We have no merchandise from your store at all but your employees continue the fight. They get in a car, three of them, and proceed to chase us, mind you we are on foot and they are in a car chasing us. We are literally running from them, even at one point one of the employees exit car and confront my husband in middle of Street without any protection from store at all. This is dangerous for both the employee and myhusband. Me and my husband split up to escape these pyshos. My husband takes all my bags and my purse and go one way away from me so I can get homesafe. They follow my husband and my husband throws all the bags including my purse into a trash can so he can run faster. He goes back layer for our stuff but it is not there the employees got it and the police are there and confiscate everything. No arrest is made that day. Six days later we are pulled over and stressed on robbery charges that was filed by albertsons. My husband spent two weeks in jail and I spent four months in jail. My husband had to pay 25, 000 bond and mine was reduced to 15, 000. I lost my management position at Wendy's and the jeep thati just had financed in my name was repossed. The state drip charges from robbery down to felony thefton their own because they know that there isnocase. is no case. I am still currently fighting this case which is an obvious case of stereo typing. I believe I was charged with this to cover up the loss and prevention actions of assault and the employees illegal and unsafe harresment of us. But I am not taking any plea. The courts think that I will take offer andplead guilty as well as my husband because of our previous record. Well I will inform you that I will not plead guilty nor will my husband and the evidence will show our innocence and our rights were violated by your employees. We will be filing a lawsuit after this case is settled against your corporations and each employee individually. And I will pursue all charges that are going to be filed against your employees for assault while on your time clock and harresssment. My attorneys will be in contact with you and I have no problem with my record and business being in the public eye and the media, cause your store is known for this kind of treatment and it needs to be stopped

If that what you think that is fine. I never left the store with any unpaid merchandise. I was inside os store when stopped and video will clearly show that and it also shows the officer punching my husband in the face and the officer also admits to it in the police report. The video also shows very clearly where an off duty employee put thier hands on me which is considered assault also the video shows this employee and two others that get in thier personal vechicle and chase us as well does thier admission in the police report. But you can continue your opion. I also know that albertsons policy is that no employee of thiers will physically touch a suspected shoplifter even if they first handed saw tjis happen or this employee will be terminated immediately. Hell it public news how employees for 30 years are fired for this so the question is why is store policy being violated in odessa texas with no reprecautions. This is the matter that will be brought up in court. Civil suit against albertsons. Is what the loss and prevention employees are nationally known for that why the policy put into affect with first termination publiclly announced in 1995. So ill see you in court

Albertsons customer service

On 8/4/17 at Albertsons store #132. 101 E Willow Blvd., Long Beach, CA 90806.

I was disrespected and treated so poorly by your cashier "Ishanae" or "Nae" like her name tag stated. My husband and I shop at your store every week for the past 8 years and we drop at least $200 to $400 every time we shop and I have never seen her before. On this particular day we spent $323.18. We had a large basket and that started her off in a bad mood. She was sighing and tossing our food aggressively to be bagged. Nae was obviously irritated that we had a lot of stuff. None of your other cashier's have ever done this. I purchased two items off of your clearance rack. One was Doans pain reliever and the other was one bottle of cranberry pills for 50% off of $17.99. She scanned the Doans first and then the cranberry pills. I noticed on the screen that the 50% discount on the cranberry pills wasn't deducted, so I asked her to please make sure it was taken off. She got an immediate attitude and pointed to the screen with her finger and said "Yes! It was deducted" in a very sarcastic tone. She made me feel stupid for asking which upset me but she's the cashier so I took her word for it. When we got to the car and I looked closer at my receipt I saw that she scanned the cranberry pills TWICE at full price! The original price on the cranberry pills was $17.99 before the %50 discount. I should have only been charged aproximetly $9.00 but instead I was charged $35.98! I came back in the store and told Nae about the mistake. She got very defensive and started blaming ME for the mistake! She said it was my fault because I was distracting her. She did this and treated me.this way in front of all the other customers in line. It was extremely embarrassing and unprofessional. I have never been treated this way by anyone at this Albertsons. Nae didn't want to do the refund transaction so she ran over to the Manager working the other register. I'm not sure what she said to her but when I got over to her she was defense as well. She didn't ask me what transpired or anything. She wouldn't give me eye contact and I was made to feel like I was the problem. I asked her to slow down and take a moment to hear what happened on my end. After I explained how I was double charged and the way I was traeated by Nae she seemed to calm down a little. There are more than one side to a story and as a Manager she should have kept her cool and heard both sides before automatically assuming Nae's side was the only side. I felt like they were gaining up on me and no matter what I said I was the problem and I was wrong. It was very upsetting. I don't feel like this situation was properly resolved. I worked in Human Resources for 250 employees and in customer service all my life before I was made permanently disabled in my thirties. I know how people should be treated. I've battled AML Leukemia cancer twice and I've had two bone marrow transplants and numerous infections that have almost killed me. And I'm still dealing with post Transplant, chronic Graft verses host disease issues on a daily basis that make life very challenging and difficult. I don't feel well 99% of the time. I'm extremely weak and fatigued. Going shopping is theraputic for me because I get out of the house and get some exercise walking the store and I get to buy my favorite foods. I don't go expecting to be treated the way I was. Im not supposed to get upset because of all my medical issues. I have been so upset ever since it happened. We won't even go to that particular Albertsons anymore in fear we will run into Nae and she will upset me again. We have to go out of our way to a different Albertsons. We shouldn't have to feel this way or change our routine because of Nae. She needs to learn how to be more polite and professional and friendly with customers. No matter how tired she is or whatever personal issues she's having in the workplace or in her personal life. Her actions matter and Albertsons could lose valuable customers because of her attitude and demeanor. I'm not looking to get Nae terminated by any means. I don't wish her any negativity. We all have bad days. I just want her to think about the way she treated me that day. And to work on her customer service skills. She can't act or say anything she feels like it because she's in a bad mood. You have to remain professional at all times. You're representing Albertsons. If she doesn't like working with people or in customer service, she should seriously consider changing professions.

Thank you for taking the time to read my complaint. I hope we do not have to deal with these issues during our future shopping experience. If Nae was a temporary employee and she no longer work at store #132, please let me know so we can return to our regular routine and shop at that store again.

Albertsons manager mean

Manager by the name of Dawn is constantly being mean to my daughter who works there and told Dawn is nice to everyone except her. Elizabeth goes home crying and upset every time the two work together.
I would appreciate a quiet investigation into this matter ASAP.

Albertsons deli grilled chicken

I was in the Albertsons on 44th and Mountlake terrace. They had a deal for dark meat (8 piece $4.99) customer service was good. I got the chicken home. when I opened the bag it smelled like fish. It also tasted like fish. The clerk had also made a statement that they could barley keep up with the demand for chicken. I was there at 6:30pm. I looked up why the chicken would smell and taste like fish.
(Oil that is high in saturated fats will go "off" easily due to a chemical reaction. This can impart a fishy type taste to foods. So the oil is probably old or overused. You can use a high quality oil such as peanut oil to get a cleaner tasting fried food.)
I am very disappointed with this, Albertson has always had good deli food.

Albertsons 12 packs of soda deal

I bought 4 cases of soda because there was a deal going on that said buy two get two free of equal or lesser price, every case of soda on the shelf was $6.29 so I got 4 cases of different brands like I've done multiple times in the past when this deal has gone on thinking nothing of it, except when I checked out I got charged a little over 24$ for my four cases when the deal was buy two get two free of equal or lesser value like previously stated so my total for the sodas shouldn't have been more than 13$. I went back to the store and told them that I got charged wrong and they said it was a "brand specific" deal. That makes no sense like I said I've bought soda every time this deal has been going on with no problem whatsoever, not to mention nowhere on the price tag for the deal did it say it was a brand specific and it said buy 2 get 2 free of (equal or lesser value), all of the sodas were the same price and like I said ir didnt mention anything about being brand specific, so thanks for stealing 12$ from me with your false advertisement.

Albertsons check out service

Albertsons store number 469 on Mukilteo Speedway, for the third time in the row, checker Kayla not letting me enter my phone number, she said discounts apply automatically. Well, I understand that, but I need gas rewards, this is very frustrated and I had to return to customers service desk, it was closed after 7pm.
Talk to your crew and explain the importance of getting our gas reward points added up

Albertsons strawberry boston cake

I went to Alberton's loaded on Sepulveda Blvd in Carson, CA, to purchase a bakery item that was advertised in the weekly flyer. I was told that they were out but that the bakery department would bake more in the morning. I called the bakery the next morning and was told by that department that they did not have enough bakers for the weekend; therefore, they would not be making any of their bakery items. This is absurd! How can Albertson's advertise items in their bakery and then not make them! This is false advertisement and this is not the first time at this store. It happens quite frequently, especially with items that are in the weekly ad!

Albertsons customer service

Unacceptable service is what I got at our Spanaway Albertsons (one of my favorite stores) I went into the store and was at the front of the line and placed an order for chicken and was willing to wait 15 minutes for it. But when it was ready, I see product passed out to customers who came after I ordered. Maybe because their order was smaller than mine I don't know but it's inconsiderate to not communicate this to waiting customers. I work in customer service myself and to take on task with due diligence is important in this line of work.

Albertsons grocery store

Sunday August 13 1pm albertsons bend hwy 97 and Pinebrook. Went to the meat department and stood there for 15 minutes with no one else I line. Two butchers went passed with nothing said like we will be right with. The both went into the back and looked like they were cutting meat and filling trays. Went on and finished my shopping. Came back to find a woman waiting and they were still in the back ignoring her to. On check out I told the cashier that the butchers cost albertsons $30 and a whole lot more in the future as I was going to get meat now on from Fred Meyer. The customer behind me chimed in and said you have to set up a tent to get service back at the butchers and their cuts of meat are amateur at best

Albertsons management

I'm making this complaint on a manager Michelle at the Albertsons on el paseo in las cruces. She was accusing me of stealing in Which I had not i had everything in my cart. She was using vulgar language in front of my children i was told I'm not allowed back in the store she accused my mother of stealing because my mother had opened her purse to get her vics for her nose and put it back. The manager was also accusing my sister of stealing from her and my sister wasn't even with us my sister hasn't been in that store since February. That manager was being very unprofessional it was very embarrassing to be treated like a thief and was doing absolutely nothing wrong but trying to buy my kids breakfast.

Albertsons bakery

Good Morning,

I special ordered alot of cupcakes for my daughter birthday and spent a lot of money and they put them in two different giant boxes and didn't put nothing under them to keep them steady like bakery's normally do so by the time I went just right around the corner to where I was going they were all thru the boxes all messed up, I was really disappointed.

Albertsons obnoxious beggars outside the store.

This is the Albertsons Grocery Store at 101 E Willow St, Long Beach, CA 90806
I have been complaining to the management for over a year now about the people that they allow to hang out in front of their store and beg. They are blocking the entrance and getting in your face as you enter and are leaving the store. Several times I have been verbally harassed black men, some no older than 21 years old and they say disrespectful things when you tell them “no, or leave you alone.
Greg is the manager, and I have complained to him several times. I have been told that they are very much aware that it is a chronic problem and yet all they can seem to do is ignore it. I have given them details on what has been said to me but for some reason they take their customer relationship so much for granted.
I suggested for them, since it is such a problem and out of respect for their paying customers, to assign a rotation of staff to go outside once every hour and run the people away.
This is the epitome of how retails take their customers for granted. Just come in and buy my items and keep my doors open but I don't give a damn how you are treated inside my store or on my premises. It's disgusting what I must go through and I spend at least $100 every two weeks on grocery there as a single person.

I don't like being taken for granted like this one bit and I think it's appalling that more effort is not made to remedy this problem.

Albertsons job offer

I am in college and was on my college job site where they post jobs in community and on campus, I submitted resume and application and was emailed by someone name Rober Gerald and he was claiming to be the person offering me the job a few days later he texted me off a google voice number & then a few days later a check came in the mail and he texted me again claiming that he sent a package and did I receive it & also sending me a email on what to do with the money. My mom is taking check to authorities I would like to speak to someone about this.

Albertsons not honoring sales ad - going out of business bossier city la

August 2, 2017

I received your weekly sales ad for the store in Shreveport and Bossier City, Louisiana. At the bottom of your ad, it states the sales prices are good at the Shreveport and Bossier City Louisiana locations. My husband and I spent a hour in your store searching out our sales according to your ad. When we got to the register, the cashier told us they were not honoring the ad prices because they are going out of business in September. I argued with the cashier as to what the ad stated. She said she couldn't do anything about it. I ended up leaving my full basket at the store. It could have been a "win-win" situation if they sold me the products at sales prices. They would liquidate inventory, receive store income, and I would have groceries. It confused me and angered me. I would think if you are closing the Bossier City store, that you would want to sell what you can. I have been shopping your Albertsons stores in Louisiana and Colorado for over 40 years. However, after what I experienced tonight, I will not be shopping the Shreveport location due solely on how I was treated. Kroger just got my business! I stopped by Customer Service to ask them to possible put a sign on the door coming into the store stating they were not honoring sales papers as I am sure there will be other people just like me.

Albertsons rude and hateful cashiers

Today at approximately 11:45, my daughter and I both checked out our groceries at the Albertsons store in Shreveport, Louisiana. We decided to go there because of the news that the store that we usually use in Bossier City, LA is closing. We both left there furious because of the rude, nasty, [censored]y gals that checked us out. Both us had several items that did not ring up at the price that was in your weekly flyer that we picked up when we came into the store. You would have thought we had committed a serious crime because we took up so much of their precious time in asking that we be given the advertised prices. Neither of us will EVER go back to that store and you can close both of the stores as far as we are concerned. The store in Bossier City stinks like spoiled seafood all over the store. At least they do have some very nice cashiers that are about to be out of job.

Albertsons employee service

An employee has been rude to me on two visits. The store is located on Live Oak in Arcadia, CA. And the employee is named Susanne and I think her position is a Courtesy Clerk. On the first visit i was accompanied by an adult with a service animal and she didn't say anything until I began pushing the cart for my friend. Susanne began telling me with an condacending attitude that the service animal does not belong in the store and argued with me when I defended myself. The cashier was nice and apologized. Today I went in without this service animal and while standing in line she grabbed my cart without my permission and my leg was resting on the bottom of the cart at the time and I could have twisted my ankle if it wasn't for my quick reflexes. When I confronted Susanne she have attitude again and have my dirty looks for the remainder of the transaction and the cashier once again apologized on the behalf of Susanne. I found out this visit that her official title is a Courtesy Clerk. He job is customer service to which is not providing. She arrogant amd disrespectful and should not be working in her field if she cannot get along with people.

Albertsons ten cents

I bought three 2 ltr of Pepsi along with other groceries. I placed two of the pepsi bottles in my cart and said that I would not need a bag for them but everything still on the bagging area I would. The bag boy starts bagging and then puts all three Pepsi bottles in cart. I remind the register lady that I needed to go upstairs and thus the one Pepsi needed to be bagged. She then says it'll be an additional ten cents since I had already paid before I let them both know previous request.
She says they couldn't fit the one Pepsi so I might as well buy the third bag. So I used my debit card to buy third bag at ten cents which doesn't make much sense seeing it costs you per transaction.
I moved an item in second bag and easily placed bottle of Pepsi inside.
Common sense, pass it on. Frustrating cuz I love my Albertsons store and it's just a dime but yeah the argumentative and dismissiveness from register lady ended up reason for sitting down to write this. I have two receipts if needed to show if interested in seeing them.

Albertsons aquafina 16 oz bottle 24 x case

I purchased four cases and all four the bottles won't stand up because of warping. This means:

1. They stood in the sun or high heat long enough to warp the bottle and
2. They are now contaminated because heat releases toxins into the water.

I have also alerted Aqua Fine but you know this is a complex issue that will take everyone's cooperation. There is shipping, , storage, etc.

But this problem has to be solved. More and more people are blogging about the dangers online.
