Albertsons sexism at marron road in oceanside, ca

Today, I had the degrading experience at 3450 Marron Rd.in Oceanside, Ca. I was returning an unopened box of food and requested a refund or exchange due to a food allergy. The manager was extremely rude and sexist. He eventually hastily screamed at me that I'm fraudulent for wanting to return unopened food and that it was, "absurd that"women"try to do this". He gained the attention of many customers and other employees, all looking at me sympathetically, that gave me the impression he has these sexist and ignorant outburst quite often. Little did he know that I have a master's degree in mass communication and have access to several media lists to all the local and national broadcasting outlets.

I asked for the manager's name upon leaving and a woman employee said it was Vince Tallahan (or something near it). She apologized and said this was not the first time he has displayed unsolicited rage.

Albertsons customer service

We were at Albertsons and we required assistance, when I asked an employee with the name of Tyler (I couldn't find the employee id) for assistance. I was trying to find the paper hole reinforcers and I couldn't find them so I told him that and asked if that meant that they were out. He then responded as if I was 3 and told me that the fact that he was walking with me means that he didn't know but he would try to find out. After we got to the aisle, he continued to ask as if me and my parent were preschoolers, and kept asking us "help him help us" as if we weren't trying to tell him what we needed. We also asked him if he knew some other stores where we could get our supplies, and he suggested office max. We then asked him if he knew what time office max closed, and he very sarcastically replied that he worked at Albertsons only, but if "we pulled out our smartphones we could find out." He kept using we as if me and my parent were preschoolers. After we told him that we didn't have our smartphones, he said that most people carry their smartphones around with them. Then after that he went to another employee to ask what time the store opened, and in front of that employee he stopped acting as if we were little kids and began talking like he was supposed to. We weren't sure whether it was our skin color or what he didn't like about us. I do hope you guys will take care of this so no one else will have to feel offended about this.

Albertsons employee

Treated with complete disrespect by employee.

Hello, this morning at your 8850 E Foothill Blvd, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730 store I had a basket with over 15 items and the only line open was an express line. An employee named VICTOR was walking past so I said
"Excuse me, I have more than 15 items, can someone open another line?"
VICTOR said nothing, did not look at me, and just kept walking by.
I said "Excuse me?". Keep in mind he is right next to me at the front of the store, in uniform with his nametag on.
He deliberately ignored me, said nothing and turned away.
I said "Victor!'. He turned slightly, scowled at me, said nothing, and kept walking.
At this point i was furious . who treats a customer like this?
I then raised my voice and said "Victor! Why are you ignoring me?" to his back as he kept walking away, still having said nothing. At this point, he didn't turn around he just pointed at another employee and kept walking, finally turning a corner and walking out of sight.
The other employee apologized and said she could help me. i declined and talked to the store director STEVE and explained what just happened. He apologized.

I go to this store regularly and just can't imagine continuing to shop at your store if VICTOR is kept employed after this offensive and hateful display.

Albertsons management at 1070 lexington st waltham ma

I have been an employee many years at this location. We do not have adequate help for collecting carriages outside after 7or 8 pm. This store is open till midnight. Sometimes there are one or maybe 2 young men (cashiers) who are asked to collect the carriages before the store closes. That's fine (if they are scheduled).

The women who are scheduled till 11 or 12 - maybe 1 or 2 are not physically able (having back issues for example).

The point is that they are not hiring anyone to do outside carriages till let's say 11.

They used to - but not over the past 2 years or so.

That job requires someone who is somewhat physically able to handle it.

Tonight we were extremely busy due to an upcoming snow storm. I came in early and stayed late. The store was going strong for many hours and didn't slow down till 10:30 pm. No one was outside covering carriages.

I understand this was an unusually busy day, but at the end of this night the closing manager told us that we all had to take turns and get the carriages in. I suggested that when the night crew arrives that maybe they could help. She said absolutely not.
Each one of us working unfortunately had physical handicaps which I discussed with her, but she replied that we all have issues and had to pitch in.

The woman who went outside to help has had issues with her hand (she had recently been to her doctor ). I told her not to do them - but she went outside and told me that she would just do a few. She was scheduled till 12am as a cashier.
I had clocked out since I had been there 9 hours ringing in Service. We were all exhausted.

The CSR had back issues (she closes Wed nights till 12), I have issues as well and the other girl working till 11 is pregnant.

There have been other nights where there is no one scheduled to do outside carriages.

There is something wrong with this picture.

Someone had better take a long look at this store. Most of the time the customers have to bag their own orders.
Not enough help.

This is a high end store - not a discount store. Customer service is lacking (especially after 6pm)

Customers have complained to me many times.

Wow,
It sounds like you should be the manager and in charge of hiring...obviously you actually care about the business, customers, and employees..
I'm sorry to hear about your situations..someone's obviously either being cheap, and not hiring enough employees...you can't line your pockets ill heartedly..my that woman should just be in charge of bringing in all the carriages from opening to closing just for one day..she might change her mind.. Can you report her? I would..
Hoping she will have a change of heart ❤ praying for all of you guys ...god know everything even when we sit or stand, every number of hairs on our heads, he know our thoughts and he weighs our hearts.we will all reap what we sow in life..so I will definitely be praying for extra blessings to flow in all your lives..

Albertsons deli party bucket deli employee will not serve me is rude this is the 3rd time she acts like there's a problem I dont even know her name..

part bucket/ chicken and potatoes I bought were cold which is really weird because I also bought fried chicken but that was hot.. Also I have a complaint..this is the third time I have come to the deli to get a party bucket and there is a woman there that works in the deli she has really short hair past her ears kinda like a guys hair it is blond with maybe some brown but she is a woman..and for some reason I don't know why she won't serve me always either ignores me or is short/ rude and lets people go before me whom she will serve but today she just gave me a disgusted look and turned away after she saw me and walked off to the other side of the deli to talk to a different employee she didn't even try to help me or tell someone to help me I stood there for five minutes finally another gal served and helped me.. I don't know this lady I don't think she knows me.. I've lived in Emmett for 28 years I wad adopted from India so I'm not sure if this is a racial thing or if this lady is just unhappy.. But when she walked off she laughed and smiled with the guy employee she started talking to.. It kinda ruins my shopping experience thank god the cashier Lisa Brunson lifted my spirit before I left and we laughed and had a good uplifting conversation thankfully..bless her heart..that is a good employee

Albertsons checkout lines

Today will be the third time I left a full cart of food and walked out! If you guys think you are saving money by laying off checkers, your'e wrong !
Even though you are across the street one more time and I will drive 5 minutes and buy grocery's! 2 checkers 8-10 people in each line I don't think so ! We basically come to you cause of convenience NOT your prices, and now having to wait in line for 15 minutes or more. You figure it out!

This website is not directly affiliated with Albertsons so it is likely they will not see your complaint here. You will need to contact them directly.

That being said, most likely they are temporarily and unexpectedly short-staffed. It takes time to hire and train good employees. It is incredibly rude however to leave carts full of items without putting them back. This certainly won't help getting more employees at check-out.

Albertsons meat

We purchased a $58 piece of prime rib roast. This was for a Christmas dinner. After cooking and gleaning the meat, it was obvious only about 50% was meat, with the other percent being fat. This was very disappointing to serve our guests, and was very disappointing to have for left-overs. We will, probably, not be visiting the Albersons' store for meat for our family gatherings. Very disappointing, regarding meat for our family. Very unfortunate.

Albertsons wait lines

Good evening, I'm writing to inform you all of the situation at the Weatherford, Texas store. The store director Larry Lewis has no organization when it comes to the store but specifically the front end. There are rarely lanes open, and if there are they close mid line so that the cashiers can to break, but he never jumps on a register. He just stares around wandering the store until it's his time to leave. I have even overheard him saying to other employees he's just counting his days. This store is such a pain to shop in and the employees have no support.

Albertsons management at 5085 n lacanada, tucson az 85704

My husband, a proud veteran, 81 years of age, well mannered, well dressed, clean shaven, friendly man who has lived in Tucson since 1938, retired from an appliance business after years of service, fought cancer, heart disease, diabetes has lived in the neighborhood & we have spent literally thousands of $ in your store, was told by a manager at the Albertson's at 5085 N LaCanada in Tucson AZ, Director Elly Friesen, on December 22, 2017 that he was not to speak/visit with any of their customers whether they speak to him or not. Due to his neuropathy, he is unable to walk through the store to assist me with shopping and rarely is a disabled cart available for him to use, so he waits in one of the many vacant chairs by Starbucks at the front of the store.
This is probably payback since we stopped shopping there for approx a year
a few years ago because one of their african-american check out clerks was overly friendly and actually followed us into the aisles, met us at the front door when she saw us parking, grabbed and hugged almost every man she could, (& took photos with, ) if he was over the age of 65. We felt stalked by her and complained. Additionally, rather that alert the health dept on several issues that I've noticed, I recently mentioned to two of the staff members that when I tried to get a bottle of cooking oil from a top shelf, it was literally stuck to the shelf and had to be pried loose.

Seniors and toddlers stay away from this store

No Christmas spirit in this store.

I just Had a very bad experience in this store. Their employee PATRICK practically pushed me down while pushing the broom down the isle. Then he was so rude after he pushed by me didn't even say excuse me as any good person let alone a customer service representative should be doing. Further he was very aggressive and confrontational. He is a loose cannon waiting to explode

My suggestion is anyone who is elderly has small children or Disabled or is not ready to be assaulted stay away from this store.

Told the manager DANIEL. No last name.
Who was condescending. Probably won't do anything to correct the problem ?

Albertsons carr’s safeway 4000 west dimond blvd anchorage alaska

I have shopped at this Carr's stor for the past 35 years and since Albertsons took over and took out the self checkout counters as well as linnited the amount of cashiers this store has become the worst Carr's in anchorage. The check out is horrendous and they are not staffed enough to keep up with the customer flow. I spent over fifteen minutes in line for one item at three in the afternoon while there was only four lanes open and a store full of customers. I on average wait about fifteen to twenty minutes in line at this location due to the mismanagement of the cashiers stations and with all the other options I have been choosing this location less and less even though it is more convienient and I know almost everyone who works there (35 years in the same house) I am extremely disappointed in the corporate decisions for this location and will shop here less often if the cashier service does not improve. Thank you for your time.

Albertsons checkout

Went to the store in Longview, Texas today at 2:10. Shopped and went to checkout. I had told my son to remind me I had a $5.00 off a $25.00 purchase. The last time I went in and tried to use the coupon they told me it wasn't there. My son reminded me and it didn't show up. I asked the woman and she told me it was probably off of $50.00 and I didn't qualify. I corrected her and she told me to get my phone out and show her. Didn't have my phone so too bad for me. I have had this coupon work before but the last 2 times it has not shown up. I load it on my card and it shows to be downloaded until I go to the store and it isn't there. Why take my time to load things that are a waste of my time because they don't show up?

Albertsons extremely slow service at checkout

This is directed at the store located at 8611 Steilacoom Blvd SW Tacoma WA 98498. 12/16/2017 from approximately 19:23 to 19:47.
I will never spend another cent at any Albertsons nor will fill any of the ten prescriptions my 84-year-old Mom needs, additionally, she will not buy anything from Albertson's again. I cannot chance having her wait that long at her age. I may be a single customer so it has little impact but trust me the other 30 or so customers were not impressed with what they saw.
It's 27 minutes of my life I will never get back.
How do I know it took 27 minutes? I received a text asking me when I would be finished when I walked up to the checkout line.
It started with the elderly cashier trying to input check numbers from what I assume were welfare or WIC checks. The cashier was clearly trying the best she could, however, some training might be needed. She had to re-enter each check twice for unknown reasons. Also, trust me when I say hiring elderly folks is the right thing to do unless they are unable to do the job assigned. Moving right along, unlike the lines of customers.
The cashier then told the elderly couple in front of me to go to the customer service counter that had no one manning the register. The couple waited a few minutes then got back in line at a different register clearly upset.
As I counted the open registers and customers in line there were 10 in one 9 in another and 12 in the last one. There were four open until a cashier shut her line down and still no one manning the customer service counter. So what do I want as far as a resolution? Start by understanding how it looks when the lines are so long and moving so slow and lines are not being opened but closed. Why at that point did the manager allow the person to shut down her line with so many people waiting? you can cite breaks or getting her off the clock but it matters little to the folks spending their hard earned money when it appears the management puts profit before customer satisfaction. Additionally, if the cashiers are not trained to input welfare or WIC checks get them trained. This was clearly a struggle for the cashier. Thanks

Oh and before you go around saying my mom has every right to shop where she wants. It old her that she is not allowed to shop at Albertson's, and if she does I will smack her and get myself emancipated from her. She said that if I do that she would call the police and have me charged with assault, and I told her that I don't care if she calls the police on me I won't consider her my mother anymore.I don't mind them hiring elderly people but this old hat does cannot do her job. I also do not mind them hiring disable people but if you are too stupid to do your job properly because you have down syndrome or autism you should not be working you should be put in a home away from society. The cashiers still need to be trained on how to do welfare checks and WIC. Here is what I think of people on welfare, and WIC. Get a freaking job. If you cannot go back to Mexico, or Africa. You should not be living in the United Stated if you cannot get a job. As for WIC moms, get a husband. Or better yet, get an abortion. I would gladly pay for your abortion rather than paying for the b@stard that you created. Infact I would gladly pay for the condom so you cannot get pregnant in the first place.THe old hag that was doing the transaction very slow and stupid. I wanted to smack her.

Albertsons checker service

The Albertsons store in Auburn (4010 A St) has the worst customer service. Every time I go there, I tell myself I'm never going back, but continue to do so. After today (12/14) I'm done with Albertsons. I was at this location at 2:45 in the afternoon. there were long lines at every check stand. Out of 9 check stands there were 6 open. At no time did they ask for additional checkers to help reduce the lines. I was in line for 20 minutes. My shopping list took me 5 minutes. On other occasions I've experienced the employees speaking to each other instead of focusing on customers and delaying the time spent checking out. what can you do to make the experience better in the future?

Albertsons just for u

I jumped through the hoops to join 'Just for U', as that is the ONLY WAY we can get the best price. Although fairly computer literate (had my own bookkeeping business for years) I understood all I had to do was email the special deal to myself and show them - or print it off. Not so. The cashier said no, it needs to be on my cell phone. Here's the thing. Being almost 70 and not wanting to pay monthly cell charges since we don't really need a cellophane, we renew a smartened every winter for winter travel and get a new number each year. So... having the preferred price printed out, having an email with the preferred price DOES NOT GET ME THE PREFERRED PRICE. What the heck? I'm very disappointed in Albertans and wonder if they'd take blood. Why do we seniors who carefully watch how we spend our money have to do everything with a cellophane? And why must we buy FIVE of an item to get a good price? It seems to me to be very discriminatory to seniors and/or those with low incomes. Seems like the rich get richer while the poorer ones have to pay a higher price. Why? Because we either can't afford to buy 5 of any one item and/or we cannot use that many orange juice, or whatever.
