Al Shamil Error in Statement of Account

I Anilkumar Anandan, the costumer of Etisalat DSL internet service - User ID – anianand, Account No. [protected] submitting this letter for your consideration of the issue mentioning here under which is self-explanatory.
As per the last statement of account for the period of 01/01/2012 to 31/01/2012 (Invoice date 01/02/2012) received by post form M/s Etisalat the due amount was 298.00 AED. On 08/03/2012, I made the online payment of AED298.00 thorough RAK Bank. Including the consideration of rental charges of February 2012 the current due amount supposed to be 149.00.
According to my writen request, the internet service is being shifted from (Plot No.27 MBZ-7, Villa No.6 Mohamed Bin Zayed City, Musaffah) to my new residence (Plot No 13 MBZ-93, Villa No.5 Mohamed Bin Zayed City, Musaffah) on Date 18/02/2012. Be informed that my request was only to shift my service to new residence, nothing other than any special service or assistance. As I strongly believe the fee for the shifting of service to another location is only AED 100.00. In such a way the total amount supposed to be due by end of February is only AED 249.00.
When I checked the online billing system of M/s of Etisalat on 07/03/2012, the total due amount shows 534.10 instead of 249.00. I noticed this issue to the Etisalat customer care service on 08/03/2012, 09.41AM the customer care representative informed that the fee for shifting the line is same as applying for the new connection and it is AED 200.00, it was my surprise that even I did not requested any service other than shifting the fee is 200.00 ! And as per the information from the representative I am being charged with 400 for the shifting of line!, Advised me to contact Abu Dhabi Etisalat Accounts Department.
I appeared in person before the customer care representative (Accounts –Abu Dhabi Office) and I was informed that the shifting fee is 200.00. ie, AED 100.00 for shifting and AED100.00 for technician visit. I could not digest/understand that why I should pay for technician’s visit that was not at all requested by me. And the other surprise was that one year ago my connection is changed from IWAN to DSL so I have to pay now AED200.00 as a fee for changing the connection. Please informed that as a customer I applied for 256K Alshamil connection, non-other than that, and from beginning (27/02/2012) to till date my service is same and I never requested for any up gradation or any other things even more than 10 times etisalat disturbingly offered me for the up gradation, that is not at all necessary for me. The customer care representative advised me to submit a written request for the dispute, I done it, but the representative did not issue any reference number for the submitted request.
So I hereby requesting your good office to look in to this matter and do necessary action to revise the due amount on my bill in consideration of the usual fee structure of M/s Etisalat for the shifting of internet service. Also I request you to update me about the status of this request even if it is rejected/considered, hopefully believes that will be considered.

Al Shamil Delayed External Transfer

Hi,

I had applied for external shifting in Etisalat for my Al Shamil 2Mb broad band internet on April 14 2008. After 2 visit from their Al Shamil representatives to my new accommodation, i've been told that there is a problem with the wiring and they'll bring someone to pull a new line until the Hall of the house from which it can be connected without any problems.

Ever since, it's almost 10 days have gone without any appearances of anyone regarding my internet connection despite making 9 calls (including today morning), 1 complain (I have no idea what is that for since nothing seems to be working with them).

It would be great if they resolve the issue within next few days.

For shifting within the same city or exchange they take charge of AED 100, but for shifting from one city e.g. Dubai to another city e.g. Sharjah, you have to cancel the previous connection from Dubai and apply new connection for Sharjah. The cancellation charge is 100AED and for AL Shamil connection installation charge in 200AED and for eLife connection installation charge is free.

At the time of shifting make sure you apply quickly for Government Services like Etisalat, Electricity, Water etc.

Hi,
I am Vinod...
My shamil connection "vinuk", need to be shifted to sharjah as i took it when i was staying in dubai. When i approach etisalat at sharjah they are telling to cancel the same and apply for a new connection for which i have to pay again. is it right ? if yes, what is the meaning as i am paying for last three months bill which i never used as i been shifted to sharjah.
