I had booked and paid for 3 Non AC tents at Tent City, Rann Utsav, Dhordo. This booking was done 5 months in advance to ensure that the trip is planned smoothly.

But 1 month prior to the arrival date I was informed that there was a technical glitch and now my booking of tent city stands cancelled. However, they are offering another stay option which is near the tent city. The refund offered was negligible even the make-shift tent city was no where close to what the official tent city has to offer.

They claim to officially take bookings for Rann Utsav but how can 1 believe them after such an incidence.

The lack of responsibility from their end surprises me even more.

After receiving confirmation email how would we know that booking confirmation is different from confirmation email.

What can we do in such a situation, the consumer has no right to sue the company?

we had taken far east tour from akshar travels in may 2009, but they had fail to provide us facility they had claimed in itenary
1st his tour manager has refused to came with us at last moment.
2nd non veg food was offered to one of our collegue inspite of clear instruction given for veg food.
hotel facility provided in singapore was very poor
no body came to receive us at singapore air port for two and half hours inspite of repeated reminder at india office from singapore.
