WARNING! Jessica from Aisling sold me a kitten TRITRICHONOMAS FOETUS and GIARDIA in AUGUST 2010. Only 2 days after having him- he was way below the average weight for his age and having diarrhea. I took him to the vet and he was diagnosed with giardia. I called Jessica and asked if his littermates we ok. She claimed that the time they all were. Weeks later, he still was not better after numerous medications and trips to the vet. I called Jessica again trying to get some answers. This is when she mentioned TRITRICH, she had kittens in 2007 with uncontrollable diarrhea, and she treated them with Ronidazole. (*note- Ronidazole is ONLY used to treat this particular parasite. it is also not safe nor approved...as it may have neurotoxic side affects). When i called her back to speak more about this- she changed her story completely. She now claimed it was ONE adult cat that she had gotten rid of. This is when i realized she was not to be trusted. Months later with a kitten still not better, I decided to run the expensive $300 PCR test for TriTrich. It came back positive- and now she has been ignoring all calls. I just emailed her finally telling her of his positive result, concerned for future buyers- and she just emailed me back claiming it has been 3 months so he must have gotten it from my home! Completely disregarding our past months of emails and phone calls of him being sick! Parasites take often 2 weeks to incubate before showing symptoms. He had diarrhea 2 days after he entered my new home! he came to me SICK! Not to mention he is the only cat in my home and had never been outside or to the vet in my hands. PLEASE, PLEASE pass this word on. This parasite is untreatable by safe medication! I wouldnt wish this upon any other future buyers of her kittens.

Please also contact me. You can choose who to believe- a Breeder who is at risk of losing thousands of dollars in business or a single cat owner with a negative experience. The $300 PCR test was done months later- after months of OTHER tests and special diets trying to figure out what was wrong. (FYI- The giardia came up immediately). You can contact me with any further questions- as I do not want to be going over this in detail back and forth with breeder.

This is a total disgrace. Why is this cat breeder breeding cats and kittens if they are not able to be 100% in perfect health upon sales? If the cat breeder is not able to do the right thing get out of the cat breeding right away. You are harming OUR wonderful pedigree cats.
God will absolutely punish you for what you are doing to your cats and the buyers who pay their good hard earned money.
GET OUT OF BREEDING CATS SINCE YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO CARE FOR THEM PROPERLY, SHAME ON YOU Aisling Rags Ragdolls CATTERY

I purchased a kitten from Aisling Rags in august of this year, and he was also diagnosed with Giardia. He had chronic diarrhea, and it took 3 vet visits and 3 rounds of medications to treat him. A 14 day course of metronidazole finally cured him. We are not sure exactly how long he had it but his stool was never well formed and usually was just a big mass. After a couple weeks it became worse and more liquidy. That is when we started taking him to the vet. We can't be sure where he contracted it, but this parasite is common in still water, well water, and places like that, which are not common in my area. Other than this, the kitten was happy and well adjusted. Even through the diarrhea he was very energetic and rambuctious.
Good luck to all the other sick kittens out there!

I purchased a kitten from AislingRags who has similar symptoms as tryingtohelpyou's kitten. My kitten has chronic diarrhea. It happens on and off. 70% of the time I need to wash the poor kitten's rear daily (sometimes several times a day) due to runny stools. I thought it was due to diet and tried many gradual diet changes but the diarrhea still happens. I have not tested my kitten for Tritrichomonas foetus but after reading tryingtohelpyou's post I'm strongly considering having my kitten tested.

This person's kitten tested positive for a parasite MONTHS after she got it. If anyone would like to see written PROOF that this person is lying, please feel free to contact me!

I am so sorry this had to happen to you. But selling sick kittens seems to be the norm among cat breeders in the usa. To learn more about how CFA cat breeder abuse their cats go here:
