I'm facing the worst (yes it is worst) customer care service from airtel since the last 2 months (the day I converted my number to post paid).
Firstly, I'm getting 100's of messages in a day (Just imagine 100!) from an airtel number 543210.
The SMS service is about cricket alerts.
I've been contacting customer care since then, initially they were not sure why is this service activated. They gave me the reason I subscribed for it. When I said no, I've never subscribed for this service, they told me the service will be discontinued in 24 hrs, but its not.
I called up customer care innumerable number of times & every time I got exactly the same response that "the service will be discontinued in 24 hrs". Its more than 2 months now, they cant stop sending spam to me.
Imagine, they barr your outgoing calls the moment it exceeds its limit. But, dont know why they are so much reluctant to block this spam.
The worst part is the service provider itself is sending spam. What more to expect.

The current scenario, whenever I'm dialing airtel 121 the only option that I have (no matter what option I choose) is to send a SMS to 121.

There is a problem with my modem. My dues are paid till date.
I have made several complaints and even appraoched higher authorities but the response was pathetic they never showed up.

Dear Sir,
I have purchased two connections of Airtel Company ([protected], [protected]) 500Rs give security per connection and company was promised from fourth month to next five months add 100rs per month. But after 7-8 months company was not any rupees in my no. ([protected]) when I talk to customer care then they told me that you have to talk to your distributor from where you purchased this no. I talk to chadda telecom Patiala to Mr. Vicky ([protected]) then he says this rupees is not add by company then he says this rupees is not add by company then I talk to airtel 2-3 times then I feel that airtel and chadda telecom mix up and create problem for me.
I’m talk with nodal officer ma’am preeti on July 26, 2017([protected])then she says we can’t solve your problem, you have talk to chadda telecom Patiala, I go to Patiala 4-5 times .my cost is dhuri to Patiala is 100 Rs .Then ma’am preeti says you were purchased connection or give rupees get permission from me or company. We can’t do anything .I talks with ma’am for 28 minutes .Then chadda telecom owner told me that company unable to 500 Rs. In your no. and ignore your request then we talk to nodal officer niraj. He says we are giving your rupees into 8-10 days. Then I says to nodal officer Niraj who main problem creator Airtel or chadda telecom. Then he unable to tell me who is creates problems for me. Airtel or chadda telecom.acc. To me airtel employees and chadda telecom mix up and eat day by day all innocent peoples. Now you can help me and show me right way to face this problem and protect us from animal like human being e.g. chadda telecom, airtel employers ma’am preeti.

This is regarding my A/c no. [protected] and bill no. [protected] dated 1 Dec 2017 to 25 Dec 2017.

We had surrendered our lease line and an amount of Rs. 8, 739 has been due to us since then. Despite our numerous request this amount has not been credited to us.

It is really shameful that you are sitting on our money for such a long time. I request you to kindly credit our money to us along with the due interest.

If you don't take an early action i'll be forced to go to consumer court.

I have received my Airtel bill two months back for (Rs.3500) my no [protected]. When I called up the customer care I came to know the Internet usage has been exceeded on my number which seems to me something is not possible as I have 5 other corporate connection and all the numbers has the limited usage. I again called up the customer care and request them to dispute my bill as I had made the payment of Rs 500 against this number. As per the customer care executive I will going to receive call from airtel within 48 hours but till now I have only received call once and I had request that guy to call me after 30 mins as I was in the meeting on that time. Since then I am waiting for the response from Airtel. I had called up Airtel good number of times requested executive to kindly transfer the call to Supervisor but every time the executive put me on hold for 20 mins or long.
I am so frustrated and disappointed with the services of Airtel and planning to move to Vodafone again with the all the my numbers.
If anyone would so kind and look into my matter would appreciated.

1. The matter was taken up with Nodal Officer and Appellate Authorities of Airtel but no positive response.
2. Complaint under Consumer Protection Act was lodged with Hon'ble District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum on 9th Dec '14 (by post). Not acknowledged so far.
3.Thereafter sent an E-mail to the State Redressal Forum on 2nd Jan '15. Also addressed the complain to the Registrar National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission on 8th Jan' 15. None of the authorities acknowledged the complaint so far.
4. I was out of country from Feb 15 to April 15. As such could not pursue the issue.
5. The copy of the complaint can be provided, if you are able to help me in pursuing the issue further.

I have closed my connection with airtel and also given a letter for refund of deposit after paying all my dues. I was told I would receive the refund in 15 working days. Its been 2 and half months and I have still not received it. Everytime I call up the customer service I am given a new reference number. Airtel customer service sucks big time. They disconnect your phone in less than 24 hrs if you have not paid your outstanding bill by the due date but when it comes to them refunding the customers money, they act like as if there was no deposit given. Please tell me if I can go to the consumer courts for the same.

Airtel is one of the stupid network. i have network problem for past 10 months. I use to call the customer care office but they beg us please wait foe 24 hours/ 7 days after that too they will beg. Do you know one thing the airtel technical engineers are illiterate. They don't know to attend the problem. Waste technical engineers. DUBAKUR NETWORK is AIRTEL. CHEATING NETWORK is AIRTEL. I got a offer of free 20 min airtel to air tel but i didn't get the money. I called the cc and asked for my money they said " the amount has been credited and you have used the amount", but i didn't get any money back offer. CHEATERS OF THE INDIA IS AIRTEL.

I really want to say that your customer care service really very bed by mistake I had subscribe text web service so I had to pay charged but I agree with that this was mistaken by me but now I don't want service and I told this problem in customer care service 20times and they replied we will do unsubscribe but they never do and your service continue taking charge which I don't want so what should I do know can u explain and many time service man cut the phone and never answered really I am suffering from trouble so how can u help me can u explain that please help me

I have been an airtel customer for more than 8 years, my no [protected]. As such till last month I had no problems whatsoever. In the first week of May I noticed that I was being charged 1.50 for sms and my calls were being charged by per second pulse. But where as all these years my calls were being charged per minute and the sms cost was 50p.
Then I happened to call the customer care and lodged the complaint and they asked 48 hrs to resolve the issue, which never happened then I called uo 198 again and when confronted them with the complaint no they had raised I got no proper reply from them and the worst thing what happened was that the 198 services were blocked, then I tried calling from two other numbers and also sent mail to customer care, there was no proper response to the mail and further more the 198 services were blocked for the other two numbers also, ([protected], [protected]). Then i approached the local airtel office and they gave me two numbers and asked me to call those numbers ([protected], [protected]

Initially when I called them they again lodged an complaint and told it will be resolved but at the end those were merely false promises, it was simply waste of time and money for me to call, then each person whom I spoke to gave different answers

FIRST THEY TOLD THAT I HAD RECHARGED FOR 53 OR 57rs AND THAT IS WHY THE PLAN GOT CHANGED. ACTUALLY I NEVER HAD MADE A RECHARGE FOR THE AMOUNT THEY TOLD, LATER WHEN I CALLED THEM AGAIN AND GAVE THE DETAILS OF THE RECHARGES I HAD DONE IN THE PAST, YOU PEOPLE DID AN U TURN AND TOLD AIRTEL IT SELF HAD RECHARGED AS AN COMPLIMENTARY GIFT

THEN I TOLD THAT I DON’T NEED ANY OF THOSE AND TO TRANSFER ME TO MY ORIGINAL BASE PLAN, THEY TOLD THEY WILL REVERT BACK BUT IT NEVER HAPPENED.., WITH NO OTHER GO I HAD TO CALL SINCE YOU PEOPLE WERE NOT READY TO PROVIDE THE SOLUTION

THEN WHEN I ASKED TO GIVE AN COMMITMENT AS TO WHEN THIS WILL BE RESOLVED THE RUDE ANSWER I GOT FROM THE REPRESENTATIVE IS IF YOU WANT YOU PORT OUT .

THEN ONE PERSON TOLD IT WLL BE REVERTED BACK TO THE ORIGINAL BASE PLAN AND ASKED ME TO SEND AS SMS TO 121 WITH A FORMAT, TO WHICH I SENT BUT STILL MY SMS COST WAS 1.50P, THEN WHEN I AGAIN KEPT CALLING UP THEY KEPT ASKING ME TO SEND MAIL, GIVE 24HRS, 48HRS TIME, THEY WILL REVERT BACK, BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY I ONLY ENDED UP WASTING MY MONEY CALLING BUT NO SOLUTION,

THEN ONE DAY A REPRESENTAIVE TOLD ME THAT PLAN IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE, SO WHEN I ASKED HIM HOW CAN A BASE PLAN WHICH I WAS USING FOR MORE THAN 6 YRS CHANGE SUDDENLY, THEN ANOTHER PERSON TOLD ME TO GET BENEFITS I HAVE TO COMPULSORILY OPT FOR AN BOOSTER PACK,
THEN AGAIN THEY TOLD ME I AM IN THE SAME PLAN WHICH I WAS EARLIER BUT THE ONLY THING IS THE THE SMS TARRIF HAS BEEN RAISED.

YOU GIVE A BASE PLAN WHICH IS FOR LIFE TIME AND HOW CAN YOU CHANGE IT SUDDENLY, THEN WHY IS THAT YOU PEOPLE GIVE FALSE STATEMENTS THAT THE BASE PLAN WILL BE APPLICABLE FOR LIFE TIME.

Dear team,

I ant to highlight recent incidence of unncessary charges. I got a message from airtel - delhi stating you have been charged inr 99 & inr 10 for various vas services. Actualy strange to my knowledge I never subscribed for such services. Rather I m still not even aware they have charged me for what services. On calling customer care the ay told me while using diffrent apps on your windows phone you might have clicked small advertisment on it & you would have been charged for same. I replied them I have never pressed any button and it is actually not in my knowledge, even if you think I have clicked some thing wrongly please cancel it and don't charge me extra as I am intimating you about matter with in 3 minutes of receiving message pertaining to vas charges.

Reply from customer care was :

We cant cancel the charges you have to bear it, we have already paid charges to vas provider. On my asking how can you pay vendor in time frame of one minute, reply was payment to vendor is done immediately. I can compalin where ever I want charges want be reversed. He closed calling by giving complaint number.

I am a resident surgeon, and i am sick of being disturbed by sms's and calls from airtel selling me some ring tone or the other. I have no wish to buy any ringtone or ANYTHING else for that matter. They invariable call when i am on duty, disturbing me, or when i am sleeping the little bit i can, their call or sms wakes me up with me panicking, as sms or call means there is some trouble in ward n i have to go immediately. I cannot afford to switch off the ringtones. I had registered for the 'do not disturb' thing 1 month back, but not only has it been of no use, i am also unable to contact customer care since then. I have wasted a lot of time trying to contact them.

I planned to go for postpaid connection in airtel. In my concern one guy from airtel representative came for airtel SIM card sales.He told 'one special offer for 249 CUG national plan specially for your concern and you can go for it.Its only a limited also I will get a free airtel bag for this connection'.So I have purchased one airtel SIM card from him.Then after few days my number has been activated and I started using on it.After first month bill received i came to know that no such special offer plan is available.I have contacted the concern person and also airtel customer care.But no use.This is really Pathetic and bad opinion about airtel salesman's.

I m having a Airtel Postpaid connection with a number - [protected] At the time of connection I've been charged Rs.500 against Deposit on March - 2017 and Rs.300 in August - 2017 . On 14th April - 2017 when I visited Airtel Connection Center for the termination of service I was informed that there are only Rs.300 deposit in my account and the deposit of Rs.500 was not reflecting and hence they are helpless to cancel the service without the full payment of my bill that was Rs.514/- and advised me to contact senior executives at main branch at West High Court Road Nagpur.

I contacted with Mr Goldie explain them all the position he checked his system and confirmed that only Rs.300 is showing inspite of Rs.800/-. He advised me to submit a receipt of deposit along with a request letter for the termination of service and I did so. I submitted deposit receipt. He advised me to contact on his mobile no after 4-5 days but a shame he never attended a mobile from mine in fact he sms me at once that he is busy in meeting and call me later but he never on the contrary when i tried again some other people attended a call at twice saying he is in the field and forget his cell to carry.

Then I tried to contact his superior Preeti Madam I explained my problem to her even she assured me to solve the problem with 4-5 days buta shame again she repeated the same story as Mr Goldie same she forgot her cell, busy in meeting, the person who makes posting is on leave, Puna office is closed now, and she wants another week to solve the problem.

and still my problem is not solved my service is not terminated, my deposit is not adjusted on the contrary I've been charged for Rs.199/- monthly rent for the period.

If you can do anything please do the needful or kindly let me know the Phone/Mobile No or email id of the executives who can solve the problem.

I disconnect my land line number in month of February and also I've proof for it and also I've submitted final amount to AirTel collect department but still I've not received any check from AirTel.

I've visited lot of time to AirTel office but every time she give tentative date that you'll get with 5 to 6 days.

When the five and six days over then again I visit to AirTel office and again she reply...

I don't understand what's the process for returning the money...

Why everything is online... if taking six month time...?

I'm really frustrated.

I'm sure most of the customer are agree with me.

I received an sms stating that i would receive "1000free SMS " if i were to send a "SMS50" to 511. In the body of the text it was nowhere mentioned that Rs50 would be deducted from my account for the same. then i received a message stating that"your request has been registered and sms pack shall be activated in 48hrs and Rs 50 would be deducted from my account for the same".

All calls to customer care have failed as airtel ''s network here is choked to death and and my outgoing calls are blocked (which is a routine affair, and which this company expects us to live with) so i cannot contact the customer care also. This is first order cheating!

My sincere request to all those who read this post be very careful before taking up any such"special schemes ".

Since airtel network was poor at my office in vashi, i switched to hutch. & i gave a request for cancellation of my number. I was told that i should be receiving a cheque on my billing address (my home) within next 15 working days. It has been more than 2 months and i am yet to receive my deposit money. when i visited the gallery in borivali west, the lady executive rudely told me that i should have come down to gallery to check the status during last 2 months. So that means for my request i should go, wait for at least an hour in the queue to meet them & then they will take a next step. This should be repeated until my request gets serviced. Nonsense!

I dont know what problem that lady had in her life !

Hi, my name is james chacko and my number is [protected].

On 28th sep. I got an sms from airtel informing that if I pay the bill on 29th or 30th of sep at airtel relationship centers (Arc) , I would win assured gifts, all arcs are open. Accordingly I went to andheri (E) arc and paid the bill, but they said they didn't receive any gifts and I would have to talk to customercare.

I called airtel from there and spoke to susheela dangi and she spoke to her team leader and she promised me that the gift would be sent to my billing address. I asked her again and she confirmed it.

After that, each time I called to inquire, I had to tell the whole story to the executive attending the call, and then was told that the system was under upgradation and was asked to call later, or after half an hour, or after 7pm or after 7am... The supervisor it seems was always busy on another call or some meeting.

Finally on 12th oct after 14 calls, I could speak to someone and after much persuasion, got the call transferred to suleman, his tl. He told me that airtel never sends gifts to billing addresses, I would have to pick it up from andheri arc, even though I was promised that earlier. He promised and assured me that the concerned dept would call me within 48 hours. I waited till 22nd oct. And spoke to vidya nair, she assured me again that I would get a call within 48 hours and the whole system was under upgradation for sometime. And I got a reference number for the first time: [protected]

Now since nothing is happening apart from me repeating the incident to every executive and wasting a good deal of my time, I decide to write to you hoping that I will at least get "the call". The 48 hour period is a standard time and never seems to elapse.

The question is not about receiving a gift. Its about commitment. Even if you promise a pen worth rs.2, deliver it or don't assure!

Secondly, when I am promised a "call-back", I am expecting a call.

Thirdly, my bills hardly come below 1700 a month, without many std or messages. My colleagues using hutch go roaming, call std & isd from there but don't cross 1700. Many other friends using airtel have faced this problem and have switched over to hutch.

Could someone please get back to me with answers? I am thoroghly dissatisfied and tired of airtel.

My Mobile Number is [protected]. On 19Dec2007 without my concern I was subscribed to Value Pack 99 & the amount INR 99 was deducted from my balance. I have complained the same to AIRTEL three times from 21Dec2007 to 25Dec2007 on the number 121 and I was told that I will be credited the deducted amount. But still now I have not received the same.

The above action by the Bharti Airtel shows that the company is doing the theft from its customers. We have decided to discontinue the 10 to 12 mobile service from Airtel along with my family members& relatives .

My name is vijender pal singh from punjab [protected] is my postpaid mobile numer it is disconnected due to non payment as I was in some personal problem but one miss anjana from mohali head office airtel calls on my other personal numbers and use false nd really bad words plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... Do something abt it this is really out of control I got recordings of her if any one wants to listen soooooooooo plzzzzzzzz do something

But no any one executive solved my problem and till now my no is working and receiving the blank calls and that person call us and give the abuse so much. My postpaid mobile number is [protected] and an unfortunate customer for the 5 th year, when i approched the c, service
for change of bill plan in Nov-2017 to reduce my bills from an average of 2300/- to further down, but by end of december when i received my bill i was shocked to see my bill has gone up to 3600/-, i expressed my shock to the cust service dept by calling 121 from my mobile and they confirmed that the complaint will be viewed with care and in 48 hours it would be resolved, i too get a call from Airtel not for service and to collect the bill sent by them through various agencies.The same Airtel has a facility of topping with 60/- for 20000 sms, but in a peculier manner they charged me 1300/- for using SMS
There is no point in advertising with saying that best service provider? winner without solving single genuine customer
service query solved.I cant spent time in running behind these irresponsible officers where their idea to act only as a collection agent for outstanding bill dues. IHAVE NO OBJECTION TO PAY MY ACTUAL DUES IT IS WHOLLY THE MISTAKE COMMITTED BY UNTRAINED CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICERS, LEAVING ALL THE AMOUNT CHARGED FOR SMS AND PENALTY, HPOING FOR A QUERY RESOLVED INTIME AND TO DO SOME THING FOR THE FIRST TIME AS A CUSTOMER SERVICE, FORGET AS COLLECTION AGENT AND SPEND ATLEAST ONE MINUTE IF I DESERVE THE SAME

I bought a 3G Airtel Dongle yesterday in Anantapur, Andhrapradesh, and it spoiled all my vacation mood and plans. I am on vacation in India and I bought an Airtel 3G Dongle for office work as well as to browse internet and plan my vacation.

Airtel executives told me that if I buy Airtel 3G Dongle for Rs. 2100 I will get 6GB free data immediately after activation. They also told me that it will be valid for 30 days and will be the best option for my vacation in India.

The Dongle got activated this morning and worked for 15 minutes with reasonable speed . After that the speed got reduced to 2 KB/ 3 KB per second, after some time the Dongle stopped to connect to internet. I disconnected the Dongle and reconnected to my laptop multiple times but it never worked.

I thought Airtel is a big brand and will resolve my issue as soon as I call the customer care. Surprisingly Google could not find any customer care number for Airtel 3G Dongles. Even Airtel.in website also not displaying any customer care number. Later on someone told me that I can call customer care by using the SIM card available in the Dongle. But even with the SIM card it took me one hour to find the option to speak to the Customer Care executive. When I selected the option I got message that I should recharge my mobile to speak to the customer care. I should have thrown the Dongle in my toilet and flushed it at this point of time.

But with little hope and because of critical internet access requirement I recharged my mobile and called the customer care. The customer care executive was in no mood to understand my concerns and simply saying wait for 72 hours to get update on your complaint.

I was promised 6GB of free data immediately after activation and now they deactivated 3G and saying to wait for 72 hours. I recommend everyone not to buy Airtel 3G dongles, there is no direct customer care number, even if you call from your Airtel mobile they will force you to listen their ads and will charge you for listening their advertisements. BUT FINALLY THEY WILL NOT RESOLVE YOUR ISSUE. I should have read some Airtel 3G Dongle reviews data card reviews before buying.

NEVER BUY AIRTEL 3G Dongles for office or business related purpose. All Airtel executives are big time liars. Once they get the money from the customer their job is done. They are not at all interested to resolve customer issues. NEVER THINK THAT AIRTEL IS A BIG BRAND AND THEY WILL HAVE GOOD CUSTOMER CARE. THEY ARE THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN.

I had signed in for a mobile connection on 27 February 2017 through Airtel agent Renjith (+91-[protected]). I was offered a special corporate plan which he claimed is exclusively for Deutsche Bank, Bangalore.

As per his words the plan detail are as follows:

Rent: 199 + 50 (STD)
300 Minutes free to any GSM in Karnataka, and then 0.40 paise per call
Calls to Landline in Karnataka : 1 rupee
STD calls to any GSM , landline : 1 rupee
100 free local sms.

He clearly mentioned me that this is going to be a life time offer. Then when the plan got activated i received a call from a Customer Care agent stating that this Plan is valid only for three months and there after i will have to pay as usual for STD calls (2 rupee for Airtel and rupees 2.40 for any other number). I had raised several complaints requesting any one to look into this.

I had called 121 almost 3 times in a day and i was not getting good response. I never had such a bad experience with any other customer care than which happened here.

It is notable that i started complaining 2.5 months back and still i haven't received a resolution.

No resolution till date.

Please advise if anyone knows how to proceed further.

-First of all, their customer service is a No.1 Junk!
-I am terribly pissed off by the AirTel Services, especially the Customer Service department!
-If the postpaid customer service is Bull-[censored], Prepaid customer service is Dog [censored]!
-I had a AirTel postpaid connection since 4 months and due to their erotic billing and hopeless service I was terribly irritated.
-None of them know any information when I call them on the discrepancies in my billing, including their Managers, rather Damagers! - - -And the call center executives are terribly mis-leading with their half-baked knowledge. Even If I scream at them, they've been trained
to be buffalo-skinned and get strokes on their buttocks!
-Whenever you start reporting any problems to them seriously, they just disconnect the call because you are not going to talk to the same 'bum' again, right.
-But, anything related to the payment like collection, payment due date, payment follow-up calls works excellent.
Fed up of their non-sense and stupid billing, I switched to Airtel Prepaid. This is another big Gutter!
- Switching took 8 days
- Recharging failed repeatedly and it took 2 days to get activated.
- Finally, recharged my prepaid with 498 plan with a talk time of Rs.300
- 2 days after the recharge, all my outgoing calls are barred. My balance them was Rs.297
- It has become my usual practice to call them thrice a day and scream at them to activate my outgoing calls. Most of the time, they disconnect the call.
- Finally, I managed to file 2 complaints and the estimated resolution was 6 days later.
- Luckily, it got activated on the 5th day.
- 6th day was the resolution day - I got an sms that my service complaint has been resolved.
- Just after the SMS, all my outgoing calls were barred again. My balance was Rs.284.60
Looks like, the service guy switched my connection from 'working' state to 'non-working' state. Because, they are buffaloes right - they just reverse the connection!
- Now, my outgoing calls are barred and I've already spoken to 17 buffaloes. Still not resolved.

I live in a joint family and we have near about 13 mobile phones at home out of which 8 are Airtel numbers ([protected], [protected], [protected]... list continues). I am facing No Signals Problem at my home from last 9 months and am regularly complaining Airtel thru Emails, Customer Support, Telephone Calls to Nodal Officer and I have proofs for all my complaints. We pay near about 6-8 thousand of Bill every month for this ridiculous service. The billing people follow-up on complaints regularly and we pay the amount with the fear of our connection getting barred. We are into business and have to take calls from customers for which we are carrying 2 mobile phones (the other one is Non-Airtel). Every other mobile service works perfectly except Airtel. I got fed-up with the response from Airtel.

Now, I feel consumer court of law is the only way to get justice. Please let me know the process to lodge compaint against Airtel.

Airtel Nodal Officers are of no use, they just give false commitments and nothing will be taken care.

Mr. Mittal You are not paying to your employees? Their quality has gone down.
All department is working in silo and giving false commitment.
For them customer seems to be burden... And you become government company..not good for you.

This is to bring to the Forum's notice and Airtel that we have serious problems being an Airtel iptv Customer.

On 9th June 2017, a request was made to Airtel (No. [protected]) regarding upgradation of our iptv/broadband plan so that more channels will be available to us (142 as against to 107 in current plan).

A series of pains taking phone calls were made to Airtel Customer service (Request Nos. [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] and [protected]). On several occasions, the Floor Manager on duty was also spoken to. All of them had listened to our concern however no action was taken to upgrade the plan. Few callbacks were received that clearly indicate the disconnect between customer service and tech support at Airtel. As per the Customer service, the plan has been upgraded and as per the tech support, upgradation is not done and they need a new request. But Customer service doesnt raise a new request for upgradation as per their records it is upgraded.

Only Airtel has the shameless approach and audacity to send an update at the end of month that I have been charged as per the New bill plan.The ironicalpart is that I am still to receive the bill.

The only option left for me is to approach some Forum like this for getting the needful done. Else I shall be forced to take up the matter with Consumer Courts.

I am writing this complaint with regards to Airtel Call home facility. I have tried to recharge my account with a certain amount however the website did not confirm so recharged again and resulted in paying twice the money I required to recharge with. I called the customer service immediately one amount was returned back that solved my case for then.

However later on i found out that the remaining recharged amount was deducted from my account next when i called them they acknowledged there mistake over phone but till date neither the amount has been reverted to my bank account nor did they put the amount back to my airtel account. Even after writing numerous mails and calling them several times my case is not solved. Except for once every time my mails were only forwarded to me without any updates or help mails. I am really frustrated how callous an organization at the level of Airtel can be. Please help I am seriously trying to get mail ids of senior folks of the organization for an immediate resolution.

Latest status is such that after my last call the representative has asked me to wait till Wednesday (16th july, 08). However I am fighting on this for over a month.

To all potential sufferers:
Do not go for airtel's broadband connection (Or their digital tv, for that matter). The connection comes with many hidden charges. I had taken the rs 649 unlimited plan and was told that I would get 100 free calls with the airtel number given to me (Unsolicited). I had asked more than once if there were any other charges involved apart from the tax, and was assured by three different executives that there weren't. Since then for the past five months I have had to pay rs 60 for virus protection charges, despite having deactivated them every month when I get the bill. The executives assure you that you will get a duplicate bill with the charges waived off. That never happens and then your line gets disconnected and you have to pay not only the charges for the antivirus but late payment charges of rs 50! This went on for five months with executives / team leaders / retention department officers, what have you, assuring me every time the bill will be revised and the said services deactivated. Add to this the trauma of having to converse with customer care executives who don't know what "designation" means and answer that they are calling from okhla! No call to customer care is less than 30 minutes long, and you are constantly shuttled between people, each as clueless and ready to make false promises as the other!
Stay away from airtel!

iam having a prepaid connection and suddenly my outgoing is bard from services on verification they are asking me the documents again which i have submitted during my conection, i feel harrased because of this and neither they have notified me as i was out of station i suffered a lot mentaly and moneywise which cannot be explained.if there is any govt notification imay be helped and send a copy of the notice.your kind action will be highly obliged.please guide me.nareshjain_bpt@yahoo.co.in [protected]

My name is jeet singh & i'm from calcutta.
I totally agre what the person has written. My family friends & everybody is on "airtel" (So much so many friends jokingly tell me "arre yaar, tu kya airtel ka maalik hai ki phir unka agent. " but I knew it as a joke, I didn't mind it at all cause I was so happy with ur services.
I remember there was a time last year ([protected]) when by mistake you guys deducted rs:40 / - from this number that i've just mentioned, however when I complained the next day, the entire amount was refunded back to my account.
Now, sir, if you would have been in my place you would have also advertised for those people who have always been honest and helpful towards their customers.
My number ([protected]) got disconnected, after using it for nearly 9 years, just be cause I could not provide any id & address proof at that very moment as I had lsot all my documents on my way back from chennai, yet I requested them to activate it in my father's or mother's name, but no result.
The reason is very simple, I am not "a. Raja" neither am I well connected.
That is the sad part of the story in our country today.
If you rob, then only rob when u can rob "crores" (So that it can be shared equally amongst all the big brothers and sisters) & yet be comfortable. This is the truth... What has happened to anybody with connections, nothing what so ever, just some hog wash to show us, the "aam aadmi" the law is the same for everyone. You know it & so do i. People don't realise that the citizens of this country (Be they from any community) are very quite and peace loving people (Generally, atleast the educated ones) , that is all... They are not idiots, they understand everything but just out of decency they keep quite.

Now, coming back to my problem. I can never get through to a customer care executive, & by chance if by god's grace I do get through then the ivr says press 1 & I will be charged 0.50 paise for 3 minutes... I don't mind... I press 1 & after waiting for a long time some one with great disgust talks to me as though they are doing me some real big goddamned favour (without realising that it's these very same customers for whom they have that _ _ _ _ _ _ _ job of their's.
I ultimately had to take a connection in my father's name. I took it you see cause we have to behave like gentlemen, law abiding citizen, we should follow strict rules, so what even if it is only for us and not for the one's who make those rules... Ha!... Ha!... Ha!... . It's bloody pathetic.
I'm so pissed off with "airtel", that I can't even explain my self.
I was told that if I re charge with rs:53 / - then I will get smses worth rs:250 (Local/std & isd). I was using quite a few of them each month as I found it really good cause my girl friend lives in russia.
After doing it for 3 or 4 months, quite a number of times, I got a message one fine day, i'll give you the day and the timne as well cause I have kept it safe with me, as I had a doubt that I would need this as a proof to fight for my rights.
I recieved the sms at 13:31 ist dated 01st february' 2017, so I immidiately recharged but I didnt get it
When I called the customer care people they said I needed to dial *123#2# or some rubbish. When I told them repeatedly that this is not the way I used to get it, I used to get it by just dialing *123# and my sms msg used to pop up.
When I wanted to speak to a senior I was told it has been stopped the scheme is not there any longer.
When I told them then why have u sent me a msg clearly stating:
"dear customer, your rs:53 sms pack validity is getting oner tommorrow. Recharge with rs:53 and get rs:250 worth local/nat/intl. Sms valid for 30 days. "
Responce was it takes time and all that rubbish.
I didn't want tpo argue so I just shut up after that cause after that whenever I tried to get in touch the answer would be "pls call 198, toll free & what not".
The sad part is this rs:53 sms pack scheme is still there and the shop keepers all of them, after checking say for some reason it's not coming into my account but the scheme is very much there.
Respected sir, I just wanted to inform you that i'll go to the end of this world to be "compensated" for this torture that I had to go through just because I was a loyal customer of your esteemed company... , right?
Things that I don't want, they say I asked for it, like that hello tune or something, when I call them and tell them I didn't ask them they say I have dasked for it. Rs;15 is not a very big amount in a month, but being forced to use something that I never asked for & not getting something that I should actually get.
The problem in our country today is that people are not fools any more... We know what we need to do and how to get compensated for somethings that we never needed and wanted.
I know my words are sounding very harsh... But yes that is a fact, as I said earlier this rubber band has been stretched too far, to the point of no return and now I don't care about anything. I don't care about work, about my family... Now all I know is that any how i'll be compensated by your company even if it means I have to fight you in court for the next 25 years or eve3n mpore & yes sir / madam i'm dead serious as I just cant take this anymore.

i am using my mobile with airtel prepaid connection from fast 3 years. from last 6 months i am getting spam mail to my mobile from 600
i am getting ugly messages from different mail ids. daily i am getting 20 messages causing inconvenience. when i called to customer care, they said ' we cant do anything with this problem,some one sending mails to u r mobile. and the solution is to change the number'. i am planning that if this problem is not solved , i would like to switch the network.my mobile number is 91-[protected]

Every month rs.99 have been deducted my account for portfolio managment. This service have been deactivated from my side 04 mnths back. I spoke to customer care officers mr, raj. Mr sundeep. Mr amog. All of them said that the money has been wrongly cut andrs. 396 will be refunded in 24 hrs. So today I talked to mr pankaj who rudely cut my conversatation. And as of the money has not been
