Airtel gprs is not working while in roaming

As we activated the services of gprs for post paaid no:[protected], but we r able to get connected to the gprs while we r in roaming in mumbai. We need a reason why any other additional requirements r neceesary to make gprs working while in roaming so let us clarify this issue immediately as we have more than 10 connections.in spite of the delay from u we will have to look for other alternative

Airtel activation of sim

I have issued a sim no. [protected] by one of the officials namely "ashwini" of dhanbad, airtel, the said sim has not activated till today after a period of more than two months, now the officials of airtel has issued another sim in place of that older one sim no. [protected].

But the new sim is also not been activated till today and i am being assured to be solved the problem by the airtel officials.

Now i am very fursested by received such services from the airtel, you are requested to take a positive initiave in the matter.

I am a regular customer of Airtel. My Mobile has been stolen by somebody from local train, Mumbai. Then I block that Mobile No. I was told that within 15 days you can get that old No. but unfortunately 15 days was lapsed and I was told in Airtel Gallery, Vashi that your No. has been permanently blocked and that No. you will not get now. So, I purchased a new SIM Card but after 5 days has been passed but my SIM Card has not been activated till now. My Mobile No. is [protected]. Please activate my No. by today only.

Dear Sir,

I am cheated by Airtel & by Shopkeeper(acting owner Mr Cheetan) who sold me Airtel prepaid sim no [protected] to me. I purchased Airtel prepaid sim on 5th March 2008 including life time recharge for Rs 999, from Venus Telelinks, Marathalli, Bangalore. During that time I submited my address proof & photo required for documentation to shopkeer Mr Cheetan. After calling for 2 days to shopowner it got activated. To my surprise the the same sim was deactivated after 4 weeks. One person from airtel called my dad ( who is using this sim) in Kannada asking for documents ..which he could not understand, movever he was travelling outside bangalore and my dad told him all the document have been submitted to shopkeeper in English. Finally it was deactivated. I went to shop ...they told me approach to Airtel office...Finally once again I submitted all these documents to Airtel Jeevan Bimanagar on 13th May 2008. I called every day to Airtel office customer care at [protected]...every time they told me is that application server is down. Finally I got hold of Mr praveen (who claims to be supervisor) in customer care ..he gives me surpirse that the number is reclaimed and can't be reused. I went to shopowner Mr Chetan who is very arrogant in his approach asked to fight with Airtel office...finally he agreed to come to Airtel office Jeevan bima nagar to sort out the isssue at 11 am on 30th May 2008. But he did not turn up to Airtel office...Mr Ravi of Branch Incharge Jeevan Beema Nager conveyed to me after calling Area Manager ...probably my address verification is not found. To my surprise I am staying in same house for 11 Years. Now shopkeeper does not refund my charges and also Airtel office asked me buy new prepaid sim. First I would request you to stop selling sim to Venus Telelinks..secondly I would request to take action against staff in Airtel who is resposibility for my misery...

I have decided to go for other company sim.

Hi,

I am Amit Jain. I have Airtel Prepaid connection, Which # is [protected]
and sim # is [protected]. I don't have incoming and outgoing
facility on my connection. while I have summitted my all document at Airtel outlet of Kamla Nagar on 01/05/2008 I have filled the Airtel Prepaid Enrolment Form (APEF), for address and for signature proof I have summated my Passport photo copy, and I have attached self attested photo on APEF and also I have filled the form no 60. My application # is [protected]. but till now my Airtel Prepaid connection is not activated. I have raised my query by mail at the e-mail Id 121@airtelindia.com on 05/05, first follow-up done on 08/05, and sencond follow-up done on 12/05, but I have not received any reply on the mail.

Airtel monthly bill not received

I have changed my residential address and got it updated in Airtel Database well before the bill is generated. I haven't received my month bill and whenever I call customer care they blindly say that the courier is delivered. My question is to whom it has been delivered if at all it's delivered? Also, why would I call Airtel everyday 4 times asking to send my bill when people in my home have confirmed that they haven't received it. Airtel support is horrible and the customer care is worse than ever expected. Never encourage to go for Airtel.

I completely agree with this. I also do not get my bills. Once I also received an SMS from AD-Airtel that bill was delivered at my address and received by me (MY NAME WAS MENTIONED ON SMS). I called 121 and complained. They assured to look in to it.

RESULT: Next day a week later from when it was already delivered. The bill was dropped in front of my gate. 2 days later a duplicate bill was dropped in front of my gate. I received an SMS how was their service.

My observation. The courier delivery service is not working at all. The customer services cell is hand in glove with the courier. They informed the courier and he delivered the bill. (It is an open secret how courier services and dispatch departments are milking the administration expenses of various companies through corrupt officials).

My response to service was "POOR" - I again received an SMS that someone will contact me for this. No contact is made till date. I called 121 to check this. According to them I have never made any complaints. I have the SMSes on the phone to prove it.

FINAL WORD. We the customer are paying for this inefficient service and team. Avoid Airtel and choose who? Which is one less inefficient and less corrupt?

Airtel bill amount deducted twice

Hi, I am Soumya Ranjan Singh, phone number - [protected], this is the case of last year June.
From my credit card an amount of Rs 584 got debited in the name of Pioneer corporations i.e Airtel office of Secunderabad, near Paradise.
I paid my bill of same Rs 584 and again automatically in the August months credit card statement again it has come.
First i gave a complaint to ICICI bank as my credit card was from ICICI, but they reverted back saying that Airtel has taken money from the card so we had to deduct.It took 3 months for this statement from ICICI bank.After that i again and asked Airtel regarding this, they said it will be solved, max 2weeks as there was some problem in Airtel Bill Server, but alas, till now i did not receive that money. I had to run 3 or 4 times for this but every thing in vain.I also gave my credit card statements showing two times deduction for the same amount for the same month, no response.

I could have sued Airtel for this, that how can you take money from my credit card without my permission, but i didn't do thinking that it will be solved but now it has been some 5 months but i did not receive any sort of apology from your side.

Now, presently i have relocated to overseas, so i wanted to disconnect the connection but they have said my pending is Rs 1075. But i have to get back Rs 584 + Rs 500 (Advance refundable) = Rs 1084, so just settle my account and disconnection.

If you Airtel have little bit of shame then do this as soon as you can.

Hi!

I am one of the client holding a pospaid connection [protected]. i had got a ebill service activated 6 months back but did'nt even received a single mail. i have made nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn... no. of calls regarding this but there is only 1 reply that is send stop ebill< ur email id> to 121 but nothing happens. i neither receive my e bill nor paper bills. i have also made a request to stop this service and send me paper bills but ther is no hearing pl help.
kindly look into the matter at the earliest. i'll be realy thankfull.

Airtel plz reintroduce 10 paise offer for ffa numbers

Hello sir I love airtel I was a senior most subscriber for airtel services. I was using airtel for long period by the benefit of this 10 paise offer which is so good for subscribers like me.
But u had changed that offer to 25 paise which was not much interested for me to use it. So plz can u again introduce that 10 paise offer back plz sir plz airtel is no 1 tower in andhra pradesh no other network is as nice as airtel. Plz kindly forward my request to u r officials

Airtel cheating the customers by providing less information

I received a message from Airtel on my prepaid number that if I recharge with Rs.222, I will get Rs.197.58 instantly and an additional Rs.52.42 within the next 48 hours.
I recharged with Rs.222 the next day and even after 48 hours when I didn't get the additional Rs.52.42, I called the Customer Care. On customer care, they told me that I have to recharge on the same day when I get the message. This condition was nowhere mentioned in the Airtel message that I had received. When I told them this, they said that the customers must know that they have to recharge on the same day they receive the message. He didn't solve my grievance and tried to put the call down but when I insisted, he said he would call me back within 1 hour with a solution. Its been 4 hours already and there has been no call from him yet.
How can the Airtel people presume that the customers must know all the conditions without them ever mentioning it.

I am using the airtel connection since 1 year but, in this 1 year i faced lot of problems regards network connection recharge problems & the most the funny thing is that the Call center executives dont know the rules & regulations the information about their own working company Airtel it sounds really funny
i am staying in kopar khairane & before 2 months there was network problem i was geting when i was calling one of my friend who is staying in Titwala. it happens for 4 to five days every day i am calling the executive & he used to tell that " Ur connection is ok just pick out the sim card rub it on the cotton cloth & again put in te mobile" . after 4 five days i came to know that there Kalyan Airtel link was failed for 5 days. i just felt laughing on Airtel Company that how can they pay this much of salary to the stupid kind of executives. One more thing that recently i went to gujarat for my office work. i recharged several times 60 rs but i thought to ask for full talk time value pack. i called gujarat Airtel call center & asked " is there any full talk time recharged." i clearly told him that My no is mumbai`s local no so please give me the information about mumbai`s local recharge. after some time again i called up & asked the same thng. this happened 2 times. he told me please recharge with 111 Rs u will get the full talk time. i went to local mobile gallary & recharged with Rs 111/- the messege i received is. U have got recharged with 0.00 talk time successfully recharged value Rs 111/- then i called the Mumbai call center to complaint the same. he said me " this is the scheme of Rs. 111/- in which u will get local airtel to airtel 0.30 paise & other 1.00 Rs. where as i am using family & friends pack from 1 year which cost me 0.15 Paise for my 5 Airtel No Sms also the same for all no.

this kind of andha dhundi karobar is going on there. after i asked for my money he said it is impossible to returned if you want You can File The FIR Complaint on Us & tells me his name.

Can any on egive me justice. money not matter matter the service they are providing to the customers.

Airtel airtel - calls to qatar at 9.20p/m but was informed as 4.00 p/m

I have applied for Airtel connection through Frontline sales LTD. On 19/2/08.
Though I am a Vodafone holder, the reason for applying for airtel card was because of the international economical scheme offered by Airtel. These details were provided to me by Farah from Frontline Sales LTD. Further details of the scheme were as follow:
For international call from Mumbai to Qatar Rs 4 per min. without any security deposit as I have submitted the first page of my Credit Card.

The scheme sounded too good to be true & so I reconfirmed with the concerned person (Farah) before I could go with the further procedure. The reason was, I being Vodafone Customers for the past 7 years even they didn’t offer me such a good scheme.

Therefore believing Airtel was truly a Customer Oriented Services I went ahead with it.

On 19/02/2008, I received the SIM Card & on 22/02/2008 my connection was activated.

Till here everything went smooth…

It was on 25/02/2008, I called AirTel Customer Care for activating my International facility (since the main purpose for applying for Airtel was to avail the International Scheme benefits) the Customer Representative who attended to my call than informed me that I have to pay SECURITY DEPOSIT of Rs 1500/.

The trouble doesn’t end here…

Yesterday i.e. 16/04/2008, I again called up Customer Care to confirm the same wherein they told me that I had to pay the security deposit & the charges to call Qatar was Rs 9.20 paisa p/m & not Rs 4. P/m. (which was informed to at the time of taking the connection).IF now I compare the charges with the scheme offered by Vodafone, Vodafone appears to me cheaper.

My concern here is not that I have lost Rs 100 (which was the initial charges for the SIM card) nor do I have problem paying the Security Deposit. The problem here is I have been CHEATED. Had the things made clear to me at the start I would have still gone ahead with the connection (again considering that I daily need to make at least 10 calls to Qatar) which would have been profitable to your organization.

Though I know you people would still not do anything about my issue but just wanted to keep you aware on the things at happened at the base level. Again you have lost a trust of a customer who could eventually be a source of getting potential customers (as you know such business spreads more through word of mouth)

The least I can expect from you is to revert back at your earliest. My contact no is [protected].

Airtel unnecessary loss of balance

Dear Sir,

i am using your airtell connection since last 4 months the number of [protected]. i have deactivated the VAS pack in january by your customercare. and also i have received the message. but i have loss my 50-80 rupees in all coming month. i have call to customer care every day to solve my problem but they did't take any action any time their answer is "our computer is slow now so call us later. then what i should do . really i am so worry with your airtell connection.

kindly refund my all loss money neither i should perforsly disconnect the airtel and my faith will be loss on you.

dear sir, i filed my request yesterday but u have not responded. i recieved sms on 19/aug/08 at 10:15 am from 6787 that thanks for downloading laal duppata as ur hellotune and balance has been deducted.but sir i haven't downloaded it again because my hellotune already existing since 2nd week of july.so y such mistake commited from ur side. i call customer care and complained about it, he says sir wrong balance has been deducted from ur account and we will give ur balance back within 24 hour, but i haven't got my balance back yet. so sir u pls quickly take some action and follow request of one of ur lovingly customer. my mobile no. is [protected] .

Airtel security threat

With a huge grief I would like to complain regarding the customer information security in AIRTEl.
my earlier number is also from airtel which is deactivated, the number is [protected].
I am learnt that my call records of my earlier connection has been provided to unauthorized person, because of which I had to face lot of humiliations and I was forced to change the number. The call records were provided by airtel employee, may be in Madikeri (Karnataka) Jurisdiction.
I am sure that airtel won’t provide call records for unauthorized callers, but how does airtel avoid intruders within?
I do not have exact proof, as I don’t know as who did it, but
It is definitely true that my call records have been disclosed. All that I know is that my call records were given to
Mr.D. J. Panchakshari working as JTO in BSNL at Madikeri (karnataka). U may please investigate as who had visited my profile other than customer care executives, if u could find the details, then the culprit is in your hands. I think even though the number is deactivated, u still will be having the old call records and data pertaining.

Now that I have changed my number, please don’t compel us to change the network.

If this continues I will be forced to file a complaint in consumer courts of India, and circulate a mass mail among my contact list and in my company,
asking every one change the network. For your information I work for Honeywell and there are almost 7000 employees, out which minimum 5000 are using airtel. If this complaint is put up in our bulletin board then Employees will start thinking about the data security in airtel. As I cannot locate the miscreant, I will definitely at least fight against the company.

As this is a serious concern I request a full enquiry from your end and locate the miscreant.
Such incidents are not really helpful for the business of airtel. Who ever may find this mail, I request to forward this to higher authorities
And get their attention.

[protected] is the number whose call records were leaked. This number is deactivated now.

Same thing happened to me (mine was for tardiness, even though I carpooled every day and was 15 minutes EARLY and typically worked 9-10 hours a day and worked through lunch). I was told by a manager ready to retire, "Upper management says every year someone has to go into the (8) box and this year it was you; they had to make up a reason and just picked one that obviously wasn't true. They have a few good managers, but HR is awful.

Airtel charged for calling customer care!

Dear Airtel,
I am Koustuv Chatterjee, a customer of Airtel Bengal network. My number is +[protected]. Yesterday (15/04/2008) I called 121 (customer care) at 6:32pm & I was charged rs13.25 for the call. I then further called customer care. They requested me to call again after 10 hours. Today when I am calling again, they are unable to give any details though about 12 hours have been passed. If I call customer care again, my outgoing to customer care may be blocked.
So at this moment I am writing this mail to request you to check my call details of 15/04/2008 & return the money. I also request to let me know the call details of the said date.
Here I am giving some details of my connection to prove my authentication.
1. Owner of the connection- Koustuv Chatterjee
2. First call date- 30/11/2005
3. Recharged with rs999 to have lifetime promo on 18/05/2006
4. No other promo is active.
5. The balance after the controversial call was 20 rupees & something paise
6. Balance before the call- rs6.11

Airtel mobile office

I am trying to activate Mobile Office on my mobile number [protected] since a month but its not getting activated. Airtel system are useless, half the time they are down and when they are on they are of no use. When i call 121 they say that Mobile Office is sucessfully active and when i call gprs department they say it shows that my Mobile Office is not active and they say to call me on 121 for activation or send AGPRS to 121 i have done that 1000 times but nothing gets activated. Useless i will wait for some days or go to vodafone they seem to have better services...

Airtel terrible customer care

Pl dont take Airtel connections. Thier customer service is miserable. They r very rude, irresposible people at the call centers. I have been contacting them for the past 2 months regarding the refund of my deposit money .

Dear All,
I have an Airtel Postpaid connection on [protected] & since 24.12.2011 i have been complaining that i have an issue with my incoming calls, but no response till today. To my surprise today i found that the complaint has been taken on some other number & after speaking to Ms. Bhavya (Nodal Officer) & Ms. Rita (Appellate Team) i again got a reply that it has not resolved yet & it may take some more time for resolving the issue.

What is happening i really don't understand, for resolving a network issue Airtel is taking 6-10 days. Its ridiculous. And beyond that Ms.Rita has to say that if i want i can go out of the services. Can somebody help me by giving the number or mail id of Airtel higher authority wherein i can blast them & get out of the services asap.

Airtel call divert

my new prepaid number is9794716621 i want to divert my all calls from my old number9935305315 to my new number mentioned above.but wen i activate call divert on my number9794716621, it shows request rejected.
why the call divert is not getting activated on my new number .i have also complaine d to the customer care but i did not got any response.

Hey poorna, I tried adding 91 before my number, but the request got rejected.I have to enter an exact 10digit number to activate it, but on doing so they add an extra + to it and hence the number doesn't exist.

Airtel corrupted sim

I am presently residing at noida, and took the airtel conection in december, 2007. From february onwards the sim is not responding properly. Any call that comes on my cell is automatically disconnected after 2rings. I went to the mobile shop and formatted my cell but then also the same problem continued. Then I went to the airtel shop then I complained there also, so they isued me a new sim and said that it will be activated within 2 hours.. It took whole day to get activated and on top of that, the sim had the same problem till now. They gave me their no. To call them if the problem continues, but when I called them there was no response.

If you all can't resolve any problem then why a person so confidently said to call him later if the problem continues..

Now I am having such a great problem, that my official calls also gets disconnected..

So now just tell me what a customer should do in these situation.
I am not that free to run behind that person everytime.

From where ill get the solution to this problem.

company has stop my services of prepaid connection No. [protected] after one year on account of document verification.I never get call from company in this regards. I have confirmed validation of my document from company one year back. I am not able to understand how such a big company cheating the customer.

I have one prepaid airtel sim(No.[protected]) which is given trouble since long time despite of available balance on it.Most of the time no out going call is allowed and even incoming is prevented in the sim without valid reason.Requested immediate attention from the service provider to sort out the problem.

Airtel airtel prepaid outgoing stopped without reason

Hi,

My name is venkat.My mobile no is [protected](mumbai).
iam using this no from last 1 year.
from last 5 days iam facing problem with outgoing calls.
daily i am trying to connect and give the complaint to customer care.but its no use.every time they told with in 24 hours ur problem will solve.but many hours went out.
still my problem is not solved.customercare excutives directly cut the call irrespectly.
its a very bad thing which i am facing from last couple of days.
with this simple thing we cant change the number becoz i am using from long back...

what is the solution for this problem?
why Airtel customer care excutives behave like this?

Airtel another shame on airtel

i'll considered myself as one of those poor customers who fell into the lucrative scheme offered by airtel for there post paid customers. i had converted my prepaid no. into a post paid which already had some Rs 1000 bal. after using the post paid no. for 15-20 days when i got my first bill which was showed a negative bal amount to be paid, i decided to convert it again into pre paid becoz of some personel reasons. now its been over 4 months since i have converted my post paid no into a pre paid one. from the past two months i have started getting calls from the airtel executives saying that i havent paid my last bill of Rs.265. when i told them my whole story they are asking me to fax my 5 months old post paid bill to them. the customer care executive are always rude to talk and they bang the phone on ur face threatning if i'll not fax them the bill or pay that amount i'll continue to get these calls.

now u only tell me from where m i suppose to get that 5 month old bill and that too the bill which had a -ve balance. this is nothing but harrasing the customer and making us pay for choosing them from the rest. i believe its our fault that we have given this importance to airtel that now we are being threatened to pay the price which we havent incurred.

i was paid 1000 post paid bill to near airtel gallary the owner of shoppy is a legal dealar of airtel but yet he not made my post paid payment.i also want to complain about my billing charges of month of jully i totaly disagree with charges plz carryforward my complaint as soon as possible

Airtel reissue of a stolen number by airtel

I have a new pre-paid connection from Airtel.
Everyday I receive more than 10 calls from a guy claiming to be the previous owner of this SIM number.
When I complained to Airtel, they say that they re-issue numbers when they dont receive payments from the previous subscriber for 3 months.
They refuse to give me a different number and that other guy refuses to stop calling.

I think before we buy a new connection, we have to check with the police station for stolen numbers and make sure that the company does not give us that stolen number again.

Today my life is made daily miserable because my new number was someone's old stolen number.

And Airtel does not care that their customers are thus harassed.

Airtel says I am welcome to make a police complaint against the caller.

I think it unfair that they have given me a stolen number.

Airtel billing charged from my bank a/c after cancellation

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have billed for continous 2 months using ECS from my Bank even after cancellation of my airtel postpaid connection. I have called enornous time and they have repeated informed me that my money will be refunded and will be charged for your airtel postpaid connection. I do not what I have to do.

Sir Iam use yourpostpaid airtel connection is last six month.But this time we contant your comster care last five days . No body is care with phone calls.Why he is settings with mobile E-51 NOKIA set .This type of sevice by you give me reply urgent . Thanks Sunil goyal

Airtel activation of permanently disconnected mobile no. [protected].

Dear Sir,

I am writing on behalf of my client Mr. Mohd. Nausad Alam, R/o D-1, West Patel Nagar, Near Main Market, New Delhi-110008, regarding the activation of permanently disconnected Mobile no. [protected].
The brief facts are as follows,
1. That my client mobile no. [protected] was activated on dated 04.12.2006
2. that my client used to make regular payments on bill raised by you.
3. That in the month of October the bill amount was Rs. 1675/- (Rs. One Thousand Six Hundred Seventy Five Only).my client had issued the cheque of Rs. 900/-, unfortunately, the cheque was dishonored and you had deactivated my client services without any information.
4. That my client asked to your executive at Pusa Road, about deactivation of services without any information, your executive had replied that once you will make a payment of Rs. 900/- then your services will be activated again.
5. That my client had made the payment of Rs. 900/- in cash vide receipt no. 102-[protected], dated 18th day of October 2007. even after making of payment the services of phone was not activated. My client had make several calls and visited to your Pusa Road Office for the same but recieved no positive response from your executive.
6. That without any due information, to permanently disconnected the services of my client is unethical and unreasonable and my client had sufferd severe business loss due to your deficiency in service/negligent behaviour.
7. That my client is ready to make the payment of due amount, provided that my client services is activated again without any harrassment and trouble.
8. Therefore, it is requested to activate the services of my client within 7 days from recieve of this e-mail, otherwise, I have clear instructions to take the legal actions against you.

Airtel services activated and charged without consent

I would like to bring in your notice of illegally debiting money from my prepaid number [protected] by sending message for the services that I haven’t subscribed at any t ime from the phone. I received a message from number 543212 from airtel informing me christan smart service has been activated and mone is deducted surprising the are using unfair means to collect undue mone and it is equally impossible to get a remed and to reach complaint officer advide immediate that one should move with legal options or we get fair and natural justice by refund of money and the compensation for other services and time which was spent to
persue the matter.
