Airtel airtel scamming & robbing people on the name of verification

Airtel is scamming me and my son from last three months on the name of verification for a 3g data card. They sold us bogus card three months ago and since then we are fighting for remedy, resolution/Refund.

Now after three months with many complaints, they gave us another real 3g data card. But now I am flooded with verification calls. ( The process never ends). We got three verification after physical verification ( for a prepaid - can't believe) and the guy on phone claimed you will receive another 5 calls.( Sunitha sofr) it has become complete nuisance. Also the store manager of airtel @ nandidurga road in bangalore said you will need to submit documents everymonth claiming to be new trai rules . ( Looks like home cooked rules by airtel staff) . This store even demanded extra money to avoid this runaround ( kind of bribe)

we are completely shattered with this nuisance and chaos. ( Because we opted for airtel, as other services do not have enough signal at my son's school) . On top of that complete harassment, loss of time, , money and mental peace.

Wrote to following people but there is no remedy at all. These guys are only sending canned message which are just cut and paste eg: "we value customer, your feedback will help us improve etc..."" and nothing further.

Three months of harassment and yet to see activation for which we have spent thousands in travelling to their stores, calling them, making copies of documents several times and ofcourse many many man hours.Yet they think my teenage son or I am terrorist or have some bad intention !

no country in world will have such shameless company in world like airtel. I had no issues in any part of world including countries like dubai, singapore, hongkong, china, korea, usa ( I got two prepaid cards recently in las vegas in flat 30 seconds), canada, all over europe. They give you prepaid card just at the drop of one ID ( in china you do not need that also) and you do
not worry about anything. But airtel it has become habit of harassing people on the name of trai. Airtel thinks every customer is terrorist and they are the one who are falling in non-terrorist group. But is it helping country ? this is my question. Airtel staff scam people with extra money or demand of extra money on the name of verification.

I have asked this question to sunitha shroff, lalit chabbra, appellate, nodal but no one is coming forward to even acknowledge. I think bharti mittal is too busy to manage his company affairs. Airtel reputation is coming down day by day due to internal corruption and poor

training. Bharti should think twice before having poor quality managers in big cities.

READERS TELL ME WHICH COUNTRY BELIEVES IN 8 FOLD VERIFICATION FOR PREPAID CARD? Even mistake after mistake of AIRTEL SCAMMING STAFF, who sold us bogus card in first place, they demanded extra money, three months of harassment which is still continuing.

Airtel is scamming me and my son from last three months on the name of verification for a 3G

No country in world will have such shameless company in world like AIRTEL. I had no issues in

any part of world including countries like Dubai, Singapore, Hongkong, China, Korea, USA ( I got

two prepaid cards recently in LAS VEGAS in flat 30 seconds), Canada, All over Europe. They give

you prepaid card just at the drop of one ID ( in China you do not need that also) and you do

not worry about anything. But AIRTEL it has become habit of harassing people on the name of

TRAI. AIRTEL thinks every customer is TERRORIST and they are the one who are falling in non-

Airtel airtel harassment and demand of extra money from nris

It is very unfortunate to hear that airtel india (managed by bharti mittal) is working like corrupt govt offices of india the way sales tax offices, income tax offices or police are well known for corruption and harassment.

My son who is studying in international school in india. We bought a 3g micro sim for his ipad for data services. We went to airtel store to get the same knowing that we can get service immediately while submitting all the documents at the spot and get activation..

We submitted photo, address proof and two ids (as they were not satisfied with one) , we made sure that there will not be further demand for documents later (which is quite common with airtel and other service providers to bar services, if they find documents not in order, well there is no specific id system in india for its citizens, so often there is confusion, driving license in india mostly comes with bribe or by contacts) ,

But we provided all our valid dl and other documents being nri. (whatever was asked) , we did not want to have trouble for my son later on. To the satisfaction of airtelstaff we provided everything and the attendant was satisfied and promised us for good service. We came out happily with 3g services and it worked.

After a month we found that the services are disconnected (as my son notified me) , though there was no intimation or any legal information of missing documents (which we came to know when we recently visited same airtel store). The manager mr. Promod claimed that documents were not in order and your service is disconnected right after 6 days of purchase of sim. However my son came to know about it only when his service was totally disconnected after a month when the signal disappeared. However the data services were barred in next 6 days, though he did not realize as he is mostly on wifi in his school.
Pramod and other staff in said airtel failed to prove that they had intimated of any such requirement of documents after 6 days of activation. He said airtel sent sms to the sim, but sim in ipad doesn't receive calls or sms, which later sunita shroff said is not possible. Even she failed to establish any intimation - of demand of documents for second time.. However it was disconnected for want of documents for second time, without any information. We were in complete darkness about this fact, till we visited their store and came to know about it.

Now after lot of struggle manager of the same store said nothing can be done and said now there is trai rule that we have to submit document as and when required or once in every month. He also claimed in presence of over dozen other customers that now govt of india is very strict due to terrorism they need to make sure that fresh documents are clean and new address and other changes are taken care of it, if any..

However mr promod failed to provide any such claimed trai notification which sought documents every month. On contrary sunita shroff higher official in airtel main office said there is no such rule. I also told him that vodafone never ask for documents more than once, but he said vodafone is different. That means airtel has different rules? Why? I felt fishy.

Another blow came when one of staff along with mr. Pramod said (during our visit to store) we can save you from this trouble, if you buy another sim card + 3g charges (as the previous one is already cancelled - for which I lost all the money) and provide airtel with fresh documents with extra sum of 1000 rs (unofficial money). Which will save us from submitting documents everymonth, as they will take care of the situation. So if I offer them 1000 rs extra airtel staff can save me from the burden of visiting their store every month for submitting documents. I was astonished and understood why he was not able to substantiate his claim by producing trai notification?. Later I found that there is no such trai rules which was confirmed by sunita shroff.

However we came out of airtel store without getting any resolution and we are still trying hard to find resolution, after loosing money for no service provided and harassment of many weeks.. I am also worried if our submitted documents are really safe as there is no privacy and secrecy act for handling vital information of customer in india.
It was truly an experience and something to learn about airtel - that bhati mittals company is working more like a govt office where their staff seek bribe, extra money and harass customers, push them from one table to another, even after receiving all the documents. There is nothing called single table service unlike vodafone.
Airtel make false and misleading rules claiming it to be trai requirement. - beware.

I had similar experience with airtel verification staff a year ago who sought 50$ to approve my sim card application after he came to know that we came from other country..

However I always resisted such demands and reported to sunita shroff who took care of situation last year. But even after first incidence sunita shroff or her higher ups failed to bring any changes in attitude of their staff and harassment to customers on the name of documents and seeking extra money.

Beware and watch out, do not pay extra money to airtel staff, however they would harass you, disconnect your service, mislead you on the name of trai rules.

I think bharti mittal must keep trai notifications handy for customer to verify. Else their staff will keep on fooling and cheating foreigners, nris and other innocent citizens, who do not understand their game plan.

Waiting to see if sunita shroff comes out with any resolution from their headoffice. We even reported such incidences to bharti mittal's direct office in delhi but still there is not much attitude of airtel people.

They have grown big in this country but without ethics and corporate professionalism.

Alreeady contacted, no outcome yet, Still the harassment continues for want of extra money on the name of Verification. A guy called three times for verification and he claims there will be another 5 calls for verification for prepaid data card. Already one manager at Airtel Store wanting us to submit documents everymonth, if I want my service active, or pay him more.

I am getting feeling that Mr. Bharti mittal thinks all non-airtel people on earth are Terrorist and they require to pass 8 fold verification ( stretched over everymonth) to make sure he or she is not terrrorist. Bharti Mittal and his team is biggest asset to Govt of India for fighting terrorism .. LOL.

Nothing has been resolved, sent mails to stated connections many times. Is in touch with Sunita shroff, Bhargava and Pramod
But no outcome, Same harassment, stories, lies and misleading acts. Even after three months no resotion.

Readers please note Mr. RAkesh Ranga and Deepak are blindly doing cut and paste job ( looks like high school dropouts hired for 10000 Rs a month) .

Getting help from AIRTEL is next to impossible, they are worse than govt companies of yesteryears. I think even DOT, MTNL, VSNL have better follow up services.

AIRTEL IS A SCAM, THEY CHEAT PEOPLE FOR EXTRA MONEY AND HARASS THEM.

Airtel dongle no: [protected].. entered wrong plan

I am using dongle no : [protected] from last 6 month, when I purchased the 3g device from croma world coramangala bangalore, that time sale representative (J nandkumar) from airtel explained me to plan 5gb unlimited because I asked him for unlimited only. According to him up to 5 gb speed will be 2 mbps afterward speed will be 256 with unlimited usage, so I agreed with him because I was also looking for 5 or 6 gb unlimited plan, but when I saw the bill for the month of sep-12, oct-12. Plan was differ...

Due to wrong plan, I did not make the payment so they have bared service, many times I have communicated with customer care, but unfortunately I didn’t get any proper response and same thing I have explained to collection team and they suggested to me, you just make a payment of 2000 rupees according to new plan (6 gb with unlimited, 950 rent) against last 2 month bill, rest of amount we will mark as waiver and your service will be activated with in 24hours as well as you will get 150 rupees cash back every month for next 6 month, so I have done the payment in 2000 in (20-oct-2012) , but till now my number is suspended, that mean whatever collection team has promised they have not deliver, now I am keep calling him ([protected]-khalil) but they are not responding,

Since last 1.5 month I am not getting the airtel services, now I observed one thing, don't believe in airtel customer care, sale representative and collection team. They are distorting airtel image.

Customers are sent Pop Up Messages Related to their Usage and their Pending Amounts in spite of all these if the customer wants to play blame game no person can help him or her out, Discounts are not committed blindly and getting Approvals in spite of the Actual Usage i think every one know how Difficult it is.

Airtel network problem

I had changed my operator from vodafone to airtel because vodafones network was not coming. Before changing my operator I had clarified in airtel company that if your network will not come then I will immediately change the operator but they said this situation will not arise and I had changed my operator but now the network is completely gone. Not a single point is coming. I had complained this in airtel company and also said that I want to go back in vodafone but they are saying that I have to continue this network till 90 days after 90 days only I can change my operator. I m a bussiness man and that way this is very big problem for me. So I request you to help me and give me a solution.

I have 3 cell phones in my house with Airtel Sim card.
in Everyday from evening to midnight is we make a call it
is always shows NETWORK BUSY ...
And this problems not with me also with all mine friends those having Airtel Sim card.

This complain is in accordance to NETWORK PROBLEM of AIRTEL in P/O:- SARMERA, Dist:- Nalanda State:- Bihar.

I A.K.Sinha a resident of Vill:- Cheron P/O:- SARMERA, Dist:- Nalanda, State:- Bihar. INDIA am owing two prepaid connections of Airtel for the past One and half years. The numbers are as follows:- +91 [protected] / +91 [protected].

I am having regular problems with the network problem of Airtel since day 1. The signal in never weak but remains dead. Altough my residence is only 3 km. from the nearest Airtel tower which is situated at Sarmera. I never get my signal.

Altough having complained to your customer care division for nearly 50 times of the same nothing has been done to stop this. This careless attitude of Airtel made me write this complaint.

If the same continues I am sorry to say I will not only quit myself to some other network but will make all effort that can be done to switch all the existing customers to the same.

I am a consumer of Airtel prepaid for last 4-5 years. From last one year I have too much problem with the network in my home and as well as in office (10th floor) also. I am residing at Howrah (Central), Panchanantala and my office at Bentinck Street near Lalbazar P.S. I never talk at my home and for talk to somebody I need to came out at the street and also in my office at 10th floor I have also facing network problem, poor voice quality etc. Everywhere the problem only with the network not with the handset. I have been complaining to customer care for so many times and got the reply that we will do it and further no problem occur in future with our network. But I have been still facing the same problem and now I have to think to change the connection for getting better network like Vodafone.

If possible please look into the matter,

i many times complaints to the airtel customer care service centre.
but they not to solve the problem.

the problem is "airtel signal not covered in inside ofthe house"

this is the great lose of me.because i have applied lot of company reagarding job application.

may of the time my no is always not reachable...?

I Rajinder Kumar Rana own an airtel postpaid connection.My mobile no. is [protected]. I am facing network problem from about two months. I have complained about it to customer care many times.They always give me a complaint no.but i have never got any response from them.I want my problem to be solved as early as possible if you can otherwise disconnect my connection.I never expected this kind of response from an international company like Airtel.

Very worst service provided by Airtel. I have to make an important call right now, but i didn't have balance. So i have taken a Airtelt recharge card and try to recharge my account but it's failed due to worst network service from Airtel. Its says system busy please wait, i have been waiting for recharge since 45+minits. So when do i have to make that important call, completion of that importance. What a shame by the Airtel, the technology growing up and the service getting down.

Airtel about hoarding monthly rent

my problem is about airtel money.. ahmedabad's distributor sambhav sale's is our head..
There fso is a young gentleman named raju came to me with the scheme of airtel money.. he asked me for registration & I handed him 100 / - as its registration fees.. now the problem is it is above 1 month & i've not received any new sim card till now as per the deal.. there is also a team manager called jagjit singh & even he is telling that he will give tomorrow but that tomorrow never comes.. he is telling its company's process & it is taking long time period but for your kind information sir.. they have provided this cards to other retailers.. the contact number of mr. jagjit singh is as follows [protected].. and I am still not getting it what is the reason behind it that why i've not received the card till now.. I am keen to know it..

Airtel highly over charged bill

Hello,

This is Swapnil Chaudhari from Pune. I have been an Airtel user from last 5 years and few days ago I changed my Prepaid connection to Postpaid by considering it as a great plan which turned into a disaster for me. This is my number- [protected] 3

My connection was blocked by AitTel for almost 25 days. When I converted my card into Postpaid then I did activated an GPRS pack on my phone & I was using GPRS regularly. And I started receiving messages from AirTel about my extended bills more than the credit limits. I even contacted AirTel gallaries and also contacted to the AirTel people in Pune from whom I received the offer call to change my sim to Postpaid. And I come to know that the GPRS pack was not activated on my connection etc. And so when I was using AirTel GPRS Internet connection on my Computer then it was crediting money on my account as the internet pack was not active so it was charging me 10paisa/10KB. And I was completely unaware of this fact until I visited AirTel Galleries.

First AirTel was saying that I have to pay Rs.6299 and I freaked out by this and I complained again and again & argued so much with these STUPID & CARELESS AirTel people who were not helpful and not cooperative at all. And they blocked my number even from incoming calls. And they called to my friends and even to my father regarding my bills and they humiliated them on the issue of this bill. I was even trying to call 2 AirTel workers, who gave me this plan and converted my Prepaid into Postpaid, regarding my bill issue but they even not receiving my calls.

Later AirTel activated my number and sent me a message saying, You have only 290Rs. amount to pay which is quite right amount that I deserve to pay. But when I ordered the e-bill then I was surprised again to see that in the e-bill my bill amount is 5993Rs. and when I contacted the AirTel Gallery and the AirTel guy checked my bill on his computer then it showed 721Rs. and just before some time I got a message from AirTel than I need to pay 807Rs. or they will disconnect my number again etc.

I dont understand what the hell is going on with the AirTel. I never had a problem with its Prepaid but this Postpaid is the most horrible thing I experienced.

AirTel is saying that I have used Internet so I need to pay the bill they asking me to pay. But when I converted my card into Postpaid then I activated GPRS pack which gives 2GB internet in 149Rs. And the AirTel Guy from customer care said that GPRS has been activated on my number and I need to save the settings which he will send me and I got the settings right after that call and I started to use internet but just after 6 days they said that GPRS was not activated on my no. and I need to 4277Rs. etc. I argued and complained and my number was activated immediately and the AirTel galary person activated a GPRS pack on my connection by himself but still the GPRS was not activated on my no. & I was receiving messages about over-extended bills and after 2 days your AirTel people disconnected my connection and left me helpless.

Rohit Singh- [protected] Manager, Telesoft AirTel Office, Sinhgad Road, Pune and Ganesh Patil- [protected], Sales Executive for the same office are mainly responsible for the loss that I am suffering from. These are 2 who gave me this plan and converted my card to Postpaid and later they even dont receive my call. I believe that these 2 frauds have given me this plan to complete their sales targets and to fraud me with the bills and making me to pay the HUGE bill that I dont ever deserve to pay. I want to file a 420 Police case against these 2 frauds.

I have been a loyal user of AirTel services by last 5 years and this is a very bad experience I am going through now and no one in AirTel is helping. I called to Customer Care also but no use. I am a Free Lance worker and I get most of work from phone calls only and cause of my blocked connection I am going to financial loss now cause my clients could not contact me on my number. AirTel is responsible for all the Economical loss and frustration that I am going through.

Some how I got this e-mail id so am writing you here. I hope at least this will help.

I request your team for some immediate resolution on my problem which is happening only because of AirTel's mistakes.

Airtel activation of services on their own

Airtel has activated services on their on my mobile phone prepaid number and eaten up all my balance. I tried to call customer care - 1st time CC Executive disconnected the call and then I couldnt reach them.. They activated almost 15 services on their own and charged me more that 300rs. I dont know what to do as I can't even reach them to log a complaint.

I hope this forum can help me to get my money back. I never expected this from airtel.. Shame on you airtel for looting customers like this

Airtel outgoing and incoming deactivated after submission of relevant documents

Dear sir madam,
I Mahboob pasha have requested for the port in from Vodafone to Airtel and my request got validated on 15 sep 2012. and soon after that on 26 sep 2012 I received a message that please, submit your documents at the nearest Airtel store and the very next day i.e. 27 sep 2012 my outgoing got deactivated thereby I went to the nearest Airtel store here in Hyderabad at Santosh nagar they told better go to our head office and then I went next to Malakpet Airtel office and they also told me that if you go to Begumpet that is our Head office your outgoing will get activated in some 2 hours and thereby on 3 oct 2012 finally I took leave from my office and I went to Airtel head office at Begumpet there they gave a token and made me sit for some 1 hour and finally I got onto counter no. 2. there I started explaining my concern in a very polite way she was showing careless attitude still I kept calm and proceeded and she asked me to submit Id proof and a photograph on her request I gave my Passport photocopy along with a recent photograph earlier i had submitted voters id card they were like it has missing address so now i submitted passport photocopy which has got everything clearly she asked me to fill in the form i did so then she told me it will take some 72 hours for release of outgoing services I agreed to that .I asked for acknowledgement or any reference number she told me that we do not give any acknowledgement or ref. no. for this I agreed on this too and then I left and after 72 hours the condition was still the same so again I contacted customer care on 8 oct 2012 she reviewed my concern and activated my outgoing I was very happy with this prompt response and forgot all what had happened in past simultaneously she asked me to visit the Begumpet head office again and check if the documents have been forwarded to the concerned department or not on her request I did so I went and at the same counter no.2 i asked about the status she told me sir we have forwarded it to the concerned department you need not worry and she took my number and told me that she will call & let me know about the status and the very next morning i.e. 09 10 2012 my outgoing gets barred again and this time in BONUS my Incoming also gets deactivated and every time I call Airtel customer care i get a message stating that Namaste thank you for contacting us. Hope the concern related to airtel mobile [protected] has been resolved to your satisfaction your Ref. no. is so and so trust I got some 4 or 5 messages like here is the list of ref. nos. CWBAR21008024402 on 8 oct, CWBAR21006013631 on 6 oct, CWBAR31005871761 on 5 oct and CMOAC20927000249 on 27 sep 2012. and now I am fed up with this. it was very much disappointing I never expected that such a disaster could happen Nobody out there is giving me any proper response this is my last and final sincere request to you to kindly take some serious action.

Note I sincerely request you to kindly take an immediate action and terminate that executive lady who sits at counter no.2 as she was showing a very careless attitude and does not have any zeal or spirit to give a proper response to the customer and further she behaved in a very rude way keeping these kind of employees can result in destruction of Airtels brand image, its values.

Airtel pathetic customer care

I tried calling the Airtel Customer Care several times to get some information on 'recharge options while on roaming' as the full talk time recharges were not giving me full talk time.
Even when I specified in the beginning of the call that my preferred language is English, once the customer care representative took the call after a long wait, they spoke to me in Kanada. Once I told them I don't not know Kanada and if they could speak to me in English, they asked me to be on hold and then the call got disconnected after a few seconds. (This happened 3 times in a row)
First of all there is no direct contact option for speaking to the customer care executives and on top of it once I did get connected to them after a long wait, I was not able to get my query answered. I feel this is very irresponsible on Airtel's part, not to have a proper Customer Care Service.
Now I do not know whom to contact for my queries. They do not even have any email ids on their website where I could write in my complaint. Didn't think Airtel could be so "user-UNfriendly". All this is making me think about changing my service provider.

I have an Airtel Broadband connection since Jan 2005 in Noida. Since the last one month my internet is not working and has made my life miserable. I have raised innumerable number of complaints and everytime I raise one I get a reference number, the next day I get an sms saying that we at Airtel confirm the rectification and resolution of your complaint. Not once have I been contacted to check whether my broadband is working or not. This game is going on since the last month. An engineer in charge of this area calls up occasionally and says that he has rectified the problem and has the authority to close the issue without even confirming or checking with me. This is the pathetic situation here.

I am a customer of Airbt the customer. They don't have respect and wont care about the customer. I am facing the no network problem since 17/07/08 evening till today. Not able to make a call nor receiving any. Not even able to call customer care. They are also so irresponsible on there part nor informing the customer about the problem of network.

Worst management, not caring about the customers.

Since last one and half month i am compalining about the network faced by me and many others in myn area.
Sakinaka khairani road, at many places on this strech there is total no servive on the mobile, afetr this airtel customer care says that there is rpoblem in my mobile or sim, i asked how it is possible when the mobile is working in all the other places of the country with same sim and mobile, how in only one place i am facing this, also an customer executive once told me that if 100 people are facing the same problem all of you will have to go to ARC, and instead we cant come at your place.

Sir,
It's been very shocking that nowadays, there is no network for airtel in our locality and we find it difficult to contact someone.

The problems we face due to lack of network are:-
1) We have to talk at the highest pitch of our voice and also not able
to hear sound due to the same problem.
2)We are not able to contact someone due to lack of network.
3)We (costumers) are supposed to come out of our house during
communication on phone.(although it is very insulting at times when we talk in loud volume)

The ways in which you can solve this problem is that, you can install an airtel tower in this locality.

The space is also available, which is approximately 2500 sq ft at the roof top of the building, you can utilize it on rental basis.

I think judges is all not doing truthful work here as the result for Yazhlini superb singing only brought 8 marks from them.it's liked been fixed and always Yazlini or gautam singing been corrected.You making us like a fool as if sukanya and Pragathi singing is great then why didn't give them 10 marks.all well planed to eliminate Yazlini.Very unfair judgement pls check the techsathis website 2 see the amazing comments received by Yazhlini compared to Sukanya and Pragathi.Very fake show and cheating viewers.

I purchased airtel sim at India and submitted all required documents my airtel no is [protected] I enjoyed morethan one month after that i came to Saudi arabia airtel network automatically chooses mobily -ksa network .Am not able to make a call its showing call barring active .how to deactivate it am able to send messages from the SIM please solve this issue i would like to continue the same sim and number without interruption

Airtel false commitment, & fraudulent

Hi,

I moved to Chennai last year (April 2011) and ever since I've been looking for a broadband Internet connection. I was in touch with one of the Airtel executive. But he couldn't help me much till June 18 as the DP box was full and no way they could provide a connection. On June 18th 2012, he confirmed that there are free ports available and he can provide the connection.

On June 19th 2012, he came to my residence, filled the application form, took the copy of my passport for verification & a sum of 1300 Rs. He promised that the connection will be given in 24 hours to 48 hours max.

I live alone and work on GMT hours (12:30 PM to 21:30PM). Nobody showed up on 20th June instead I left note of my contact numbers on my door.

So, assuming that the connection will be given on June 21, I applied for leave and informed the executive about the same. I had also requested him to provide the connection by 12 PM so I can go to work and cancel my leave.

On 21st June, when I called the executive on 10:30 AM, he said that the people are on their way and the connection will be provided in few hours time. But nothing happened and I called him over and over again at 11:30, 12:10, 13:45, 14:48, 15:30, 15:55, 16:00, 16:20, 16:30, 17:55, 18:00, 18:15 only to hear that the Airtel people are close to my home and the connection will be given in few hours. Well, he stopped responding to last few calls. But when I called him from a different number, he answered and mentioned that he was in a meeting and couldn't respond.

I had a serious discussion with him and he said that there are problem in fixing the cable and the connection will be given by 11 the next morning.

I had applied leave on 22nd June and everything continued as the previous day. at 11:30 he confirmed that the Airtel people will be at my place in few minutes. I had called him on 13:30, 13:32, 15:18, 15:36, 16:40, 17:30, 18:00, 18:23, 19:19, 19:33, 19:44, 20:14, 20:36, 20:37, 20:51, 20:53, 21:16, 21:18, 22:27, 22:32. Apparently, the last few calls he stopped responding.

The best part was, I called the Airtel customer care (+[protected]) to see what they have to say. The telephone executive said that the status shows as connection not feasible and the status was updated on 20th June 2012!

I called the executive's manager and he failed to respond to my messages.

on 25th June, 27th June, I received a message saying,
"Thank you for choosing Airtel broadband. Your reference no.is CH1296741. Your request is being process. We will revert to you within 48 hours post ascertaining the technical feasibility. For queries, call [protected]."

When I asked the executive for the money back, he said I will receive it 15 days, but when I start shouting at him, he said that I am the worst customer he ever know and I will receive it when I receive it.

On 3rd August, I received a courier from Airtel which I refused to take without knowing what it is as I decided to move the same to the court of law. I am in process of filing a case against Airtel to claim damages on:
1. Loss of my 2 pay days.
2. For waiting 2 days at home for nothing but calling to her them lie.
3. For taking my 1300 Rs money and absconding.
4. For false commitments on providing the Internet connection.
5. For saying it's not feasible as I am sure my neighbour had Airtel connection and the executive confirmed that there are open ports as my neighbour cancelled his connection.

In spite I mailed this details to Airtel I receive no response. Only once they called me to know what happened and they said they'll check with the executive and come back but never happened. They are rude and almost threatening. Not sure if they have educated people or goons working for them.

People, please avoid Airtel Broadband. They're are real frauds. Well, I was happy with their services in Bangalore. But in Chennai, they rob in day light with false promises and their poor customer service. Crap to the core. I will keep this post updated on the case details soon.

Airtel once again proves that they don't read customer complaint mails at all.

Today a Airtel executive called me and said that he doesn't know anything about thee issue but mailing thee 1500 cheque, when I asked why this issue happened at first place. At thee best, he further asked me if I want thee cheque or not so he can update thee status not to send it! How rude?! Behave Airtel executives. I know how you rob on every service you provide and I can prove every bit.

Airtel, you lie and you expect thee customer to bend backwards and accept your cheque after 2 months without questioning you. Not happening?

Answer me:
1. My first mail was around 25the June. What actions have you taken till date on my mails?! Now don't lie in public forum that you were working on it. If so, what are the outcomes?
2. Why thee Airtel executive lied me for 2 whole days saying that they're laying wires for my connection and after 2 days, he stopped responding. Both the Airtel executive and his manager and all other higher officials in all the above mentioned email ids?!
3. All these lies after updating thee status to 'Not Feasible'?! Why?
4. Why it took 2 months to return my money? Note: I refused to accept thee courier which I received after 2 months, without any valid response to my mails.
5. Who do you think will pay thee interest for my money when you kept my money for two months?
6. And damages for my 2 days leave and mental harassment?
7. Will you answer if I take it to consumer court?

P.S: Stop replying fake responses that someone is working but act on complaints and mention what have you done till now.

Airtel sim card stopped working suddenly

I have taken a new airtel prepaid connection ([protected]) on 11th august 2012 from kolkata. Now today (28.10.2012) I woke up and found "sim card registration failed" on my mobile. I tried calling from another mobile it says "this no dosent exists". I called up customer care thay said " this number has not been used for last 6 months hence this number has been blocked, you will have to take a new connection". I fail to understand what is my fault. I have even recharged for rs 200 on 12th august 2012.
Pls look into the matter and resolve asap. It's affecting my business a lot.

Airtel sms outgoing not working

My mobile number is [protected] - out going sms's are not working. Incoming messages are being received.
The call centre is pretty useless - since most times it is not manned and after 5 minutes of pressing various digits it cuts the call, or if the executive answers sometimes then they cut the call.
Please ensure that this service starts - I have also subscribed to an SMS pack and hope that I will not be charged for the same if the service does not work in the first place

This is happening with all subscriber.. Due to some rule by govt. You can send only 5 sms in a day. Only for prepaid customers.

Airtel line barring

I had mobile number [protected], and have got barred before 2 days. When I called customer care they told me that its barred because I have not submitted documents. I had purchased this mobile no just 7 months back with valid documents. And when I was going abroad I had asked all procedures to keep no active. They told me just one outgoing message or call once in 90 days. I had messeged on 20th of June just 60 days back. I did not receive any message for submitting the documents also.

This is the same issue happening with me for the second time I had no [protected] for around 6 years and got cancelled suddenely and when tried to enquire I had same answer.

Airtel cug plan

Sir,
We are new CUG members joined you from reliance and vsnl with CUG plan. After coming to your plan we satisfied with network but not satisfied with billing system, even we had applied for CUG plan company charging for CUG numbers for mutual calls, also surprisingly we depositing bill on due date even after in some nos. late fees is charged.When we speak to your dealer about this matter he said you will pay less amount and it will adjust in your bill but after waiting from last 3 months same was not adjusted by you but also in another no. bill late fees was charged. why it is happening I don't know . When we applied for your plan we submitted application form to your dealer i.e. Manpreet Enterprises, Beawar without taking taking our sign when we told him he said I will complete the form and will sent to company with CUG plan but now we feel cheated when we found that paying for free calls and sms facility it is quiet interesting that A Branded Company doing this mistake or fraud.For your convenience I am giving my CUG plan nos. below -------

I request you to check our all CUG numbers whether taken in CUG plan or not if not than take all these numbers in CUG plan and also adjust all numbers charging bill for calling mutual calls and free SMS in M.No. [protected] also adjust late fees and also M.No.[protected] transfer from 199 plan to 200 plan, I would to bring to your notice that we had ported another number to from reliance to your company aprox. month back but it is still not activated no. is [protected], when I went to your dealer in Beawar he said to complain to 121 customer care.It is a humour in market that airtel company billing system is wrong and charging more I do hope that this humour will prove youy wrong and satisfy us by solving our problem I am also enclosing two letters which was written to your authorised dealer /outlet but he did not take any action.

Airtel extra deduction of balance

Sir i recharged my mob([protected]) on 8 aug 12 at 0623 pm txid [protected], when i wish to call from my mobile it shows u have no balance to call, when i checked, what happened, when i checked last three changes, it shows on 08/08/2012 at2344hrs recharge 50.4. And rest are from my previous charge before balance that to are not in negative balance.Due to this i lost my precious call worth rs lakh for me, for which i m not on fault, i already had this type of problem earlier, for those airtel asks sorry to me and return almost 10 times of my recharge value for the same number and assured me it will not happen in future, but once again they do so ...Now i felling much more harassed as i can't passed my important massages to my business partners...
