I have been using airtel service now since 3.5 yrs now, but I have never seen so bad service till now. Its as simple as that since 3 months I have been trying to activate mms on my cell phone and nothing happened till now. There are many instances where the customer care executive would speak very rudely, or in pathetic english, even threatened me once. They deducted some amount for nothing at all.

I never expected this from airtel.

I'M using airtell service from last 9 yrs. but now very bad service from AIRTELL .Idone topup of Rs.225 /- in this air-tell cut the charges as 1) pr.fee-199.34 2) s.tax-24.55
& At last available balance shows Rs.0.00 . airtell c.c. 121, 198, [protected] does not response .
Secondly call charges on my no. was as per second but now charges are as per minute .
Airtel is a ###ing company, which knows how to provide ###ing service.

i have buy a samsung S DUOS and there was a offer of 3G for one 2 month but still i couldnot get that service.i have complain against it but i could not get it.
AIRTEL is the worst service provider.

I did experiene the pathetic service from airtel...worst network connectivity in city like pune forget about rual india. Huge descripency in billing where i keep more than 2 to 3 weeks my phone off while in roaming or out of station however the bill does not come to less than Rs.1000 to 1200...I launched the complaints several times but except [censor]ting air customer executives can not do anything. I think airtel will only change their behaviour only when they will loose most of their valuable csuotmers.

I'm using airtel since an year. the problem started about two weeks back, when i started getting messages saying "SIM card registration failed" and the network vanishes. Then guess what, call drop. Most of the time happens during calls only. It happens everywhere inside and outside the building and almost all over pune. I contacted 121 and their new 198 many times, but at both the places i got disappointment only. No response and the call disconnects after they say wait for the call to be transferred to the executive. What is the use of giving the free nor and not responding and also recording the call for training purpose (apparently) and not improving the service and the quality for executives. They are undoubtly NOT the no 1 in telecom. Sick people and sick service. TRAI do something. Please... Eagerly waiting for the Number Portability system to be started. It'll be a big relief for the consumers.

Hi,

Airtel customer care is one of the worst in the country, I would love to change my service provider as soon as the number portability starts, there is no way to talk to the customer care executive, this is simply Rubbish.

One more annoying thing that has happened over the past few months is deduction of one rupee per day for the friends scheme, when all the providers are slicing their rates AIRTEL is all set to increase all.

HI Everybody,
I am using Airtel frienz card. I am trying to join CUG group from last 2 months. I called in Customer Care center approx 15 times. Most of time I spoke to many supervisors (senior person) in CC. And every time they are telling me your problem will get resolve as soon as possible. But still I am facing same proble. Its really bad service of Airtel. Senior person (Lal, Kuldeep, Nilkanth, Archana, Pranit, Kaushik) also not able to do anything to resolve my problem I really feeling bad about Airtel Service. Shripad Sabale

If this is the strategy that they are following to make money...i pray God that Mittal's business should ruin very soon
Call center guys are very pathetic ... all the time new guy comes and we have to repeat the story...
and NO result...wastage of time and energy... that bluddy executive gets his satisfaction of spending 10 min on call...but is this watched by those managers who are hired by Big ###...

When asked for Managers number exe gives number which never works...
So hey Big ### is this a strategy... ha... 10.2 % service tax ...for what ... ur holidays... ?

If you can not run the business open donation Box...trust me ... i will donate happily...but do not cheat us... otherwise will kill u...
else do one thing if you are dare enough give your number...will teach u how to do the business... dont worry wont be killng you ...

Airtel - Maharashtra zone is providing the worst possible service to its mobile phone customers. I took the connection in June 2009 at Pune. Within three months of my experience with them, I had come across the following problems :-

1. During July 09 when went to a retail outlet in Kondhwa area to recharge for Rs.295/- (full talk time offered by Airtel), the vendor took the money and showed in his mobile that my sim is recharged for Rs.295/- But my Sim was not recharged at least for the next four hours and I had to quarrel with the vendor to get my money back.

2. They activated the "Cricket Score Alert" without my consent and started stealing Rs.3/- per match day - wheter it is international match or local match of T20 between club teams - whatever it is. I had already lost more than Rs.150/- towards this day time robbery by Airtel. Now I know how this company is earning great profits.

3. Not less than 25 times I requested for deactivation of cricket alert by pressing *321*451# and then Command No.2 (as told by recorded voice message while dialling to Customer Care No. 121) my request was not at all recognised and the day time looting continues till today (11.10.2009). Every time I do this process, instantaneously I get a message that your Cricket alert will be deactivated shortly. But God knows (May be Airtel Chairman Mr. Mittal knows) what does the word "shortly" means.
3. After trying for more than 10 times, I was able to talk to a human being (At last) - One of their so called Customer Service Executives. He was not ready to listen to my problems. He was simply repeating me to press *321*451# which I had done umpteen times to deactivate but which never worked. When I tried to explain my difficulties that mannerless chap simply said "Phir se karo na" and disconnected the phone.
4.More shockingly, from that day I talked to this bloody Customer Care Executive, a further amount of Re.1/- per day is also being debited to my balance with an SMS message saying " Re.1/- is debited to your account for downloading the VAS (value Added Service I understand). But never on earth did I ever download any Value Added Service.

From my various friends and colleagues who also unforturnately took the Airtel connection, I came to know that they are also loosing heavily on these uncalled for, un requested for "Alerts" (viz., employment alert, cricket alert, Astrology alert, Jokes etc., and they also cannot do any thing with this problem as no body in Airtel cares for their requests for deactiviation of such uncalled for, simply looting services.
5. I am unable to find the e-mail ID of Airtel from their website. They do not furnish it under "Contact Us" page. If any body knows their mail ID, please post it on this site. I shall be very thankful to them.

One Open message that I would like to leave to Airtel :-

Dont think that all your present customers will continue with you for ever, bearing all your lootings in such unethical and illegitimate ways. They will quietly leave you, as I have been thinking of, and ultimately Airtel will have an unceremonious death in Maharashtra. This is for sure.

i started this sim today, although network is coming, but i am not able to use any kind of service.
i tried to call 121, it is saying this service is not active in ur phone, pls go to ur nearest customer care.

Since Last 2 yrs I using AIRTEL service. Last week I get call from Airtel customer care(HEmani-[protected]) she told me Caller tune is absolutely free. I asked for any hidden cost is their? She told 100% free. Then I suggest to assign caller tune. Next day I got sms, in which mentioned 20 Rs. will get cut & 20 Rs. get reduced. I try to all above number but no one attending. This is discusting. I disappointed with AIRTEL service.--MALLIKARJUN BIRAJDAR.

Hi,
I'm facing a problem from the 1 month but this problem is still not resolved.
My number is [protected]. Mine is friends card and I"m added in the group whose group owner is having number([protected]). When I'm calling on this number from my number, 1 rs is cutting instead of 0.10 paise.
And, your executives are telling that my no is not added in any group. So, wen I try to include my no in the group created by my friend, I get the message that my number is added in the group.

I have written so many mails and I have called your Customer Care so many times that they have blocked my number and I can't call them now.
I'm trying to make your executives understand but they are not understanding the problem clearly.
Is this the service that you are providing to your customers?
How long one can have patience?
Either your system is incorrect or Airtel has started to make people fool and cheat them like this.
Whats the hell is going on with Airtel Service. Its the worst service I have ever used.

all this is also tooo less to expalin how BAD the service is... Aitel has now become shamelesss and such comments do nt affect them AT ALL!

i cannot dial an international number from last 2 months and i've been following up with Aitel Cust service from last 2 months but they have no solution...
The worst part is they close the complaint even without confirming with me if my issue is resolved or not! they've been doing this for the last two months... everytime i call i've been told that a new complaint will be filed as the old one is closed [WITHOUT RESOLVING and WITHOUT MY CONFIRMATION]
This is been going on for 2 months now..

IT IS Pathetic service! Disasterous! Miserable! Terible! THIRD CLASS!

i have had the worst experience with airtel i am using it from 6 years now...there service has gone to dogs..if they dont take our complaints seriously...they will have to shut soon!i can assure you that...ridiculously hopeless service!

I am a customer of BHARTI AIRTEL.. I bought a campus sim card when it was nwely launched.Then after three months my all campus facilities were cancelled and my card was converted into airtel one which cost me even sms as rs 1.I complained in the customer care at least 10 times but none of them could respond me properly. And still i am facing the same problem.they even gave me complaint number but later nothing was done. SO AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE IS WORST IN THE WORLD.

i have purchased my sim card of airtel in 2005 so that time i have provided the required documents and now yesterday i have a call from airtel customer care that "you have to submit documents within 48 hours to airtel again as this is new rule by the government of india"
but already 36 hrs has been passed from the message and today i am going to submit my documents at airtel customer relationship office at akurdi, pune. so kindly don't terminate the service, if it will late.

Yes many times this things happen to me also.
before few months i took 3 airtel postpaid connections in form i mentioned another plan and they started some other plan in my phone when i called to the customer care executive they di'nt even listen my problem and disconnect the call. some times they even abused me i complained many times to their tl or supervisor but nothing happen...

I got an SMS from airtel for full talktime Rs. 165 recharge.
After that I recharged for the same amount online.
They deducted 165 Rs. from my account and till now ( second day)
I have not got a single penny as talktime.
This is worst.

Pathetic!

Most horrible customer service till date, my balance automatically deducted by rupees 150/day. Customer care representatives ohhhh god, atrocious neither the speak English nor they understand. Pathetic language used over the phone, representative hung-up a lot of times, representative did not even listen to me and said, “ Thank you for calling airtel and you have a pleasant day.” . I would never recommend airtel to anyone.

well i also have been working with bharti -airtel for 8 months. m using airtel connection for me its very good in case of connectivity and performance even i m completly satisfied with call center executives.
but recently just beacause of some problem i could not submit my payment on time even i cordinated with airtel executive, dont barred my calls bt they did while i personally requested for that and i was very frustated from your recovery agents they dont know "how to speak with customer" rude on calls.
and i have only request from your side that "DONT WANT CALLS FROM RECEOVERY AGENTS"

What''s the wrong going in your service. I've taken prepaid sim before two months iam trying to get the packet data activatio since when i took the sim. Whenever i call your customer care, they asks me to press some number which is no use to me, i want to talk with call xecutive at that time they se to say yours call has been transferred to executive but in next movement the call is ending what to do. Its irritating me lot its all happening beacause of neglegence of your service providers.

The worst service i have ever seen ... compared to a Reliance Service... i've been using Airtel from 4 months and dnt have an argue about their Call and SMS plans. But regarding the Hello Tune...which i never subscribed forcefully deducted 30Rs from my Balance...never even asking that whether i shud continue their service or not. This a shear negligence from their side. And when customer care was called they put all blames on the customer itself... Is it the way Airtel works?
Idea and Vodafone services are much better .. hats of to them.
Shame being an Airtel Customer.

Airtel customer care is worst. Its website is even worst x-( . They claim themselves to be the quality service provider in india, but they have the worst-o-worst customer care. Their website sucks.

3rd class service. Customer care never works. Tel no is [protected]. Bharti is good for selling onions n potatoes only. They cant handle hi tech stuff. Its good if they exit tel services n sell onions n potatoes with walmart...
