American Integrity Insurance is scamming people all over Florida. Clermont, Florida had a large hail and wind storm in July 2015. I own a small 1200 sq ft home. I have 49 areas of damage on my roof due to the hail and wind damage. American Integrity says it is repairable with being patched, and estimated the repairs at $1100.00. They sent me a $100 ck to get it repaired since I have a $1000 deductible. They use a firm called Haag Engineering to help them not cover damages. This firm has had history of helping other Insurance company's, and has been named in law suits because of it. I cannot get anyone to repair the roof, since there are so many areas of damage, and the shingles cannot be matched with color to current roof. I am told I need a new roof due to the damage. My neighborhood for 6 months have had active roof replacements since this storm. Neighbors on both sides of me, behind me, across street and down the street all have had roofs replaced by their insurance companys. All of those were not American Integrity. There are at least 6 homes who have not gotten roofs replaced or repaired, and they have American Integrity. These are just a few that I know in my neighborhood. It is very obvious that this insurance company is not paying out any claims. There are class action suits with this company in other neighborhoods and cities in central Florida. I will have to work with an attorney to get this resolved. In the meantime, I am stuck paying premiums to this company and cannot change to a new company until this issue is resolved. BEWARE! This company is a scam, and if you have this company or are thinking of using this company in the future, you will end up very unhappy if you have to file a claim for damage on your home.

Hi, I have the same issue with American Integrity insurance. My neighbors who sustained damages last January 22 and filed claimed have been approved by their insurance company. Unfortunately, I am with American Integrity and I have been denied despite the fact that my shingles cannot be fixed because it failed the brittle test. If we all can get together, we all can get together and file an action lawsuit against American Integrity. Most homeowners will let it go and enough is enough. They don't mind taking our money but when it comes to assisting us with our needs they fail short. We are not the only one who suffers from American Integrity. Let me know.

Hello,

I filed a claim for the exact same date for a wind storm in East Orlando and they did the exact same thing to me. They claim my roof is repairable and will only cost $600 to fix, even though my neighbors who had less damage got full replacements from their insurance companies. I have already obtained estimates from other contractors who say the roof needs full replacement. I have spoken to a lawyer and am planning on filing a suit. How has to process been for you since June? Have you gotten anywhere?

That is exactly what they said to me too. I have hired a public adjuster who has experience with them and according to my roofer, they have been successful. They are now dealing with American Integrity. Hopefully in the next few weeks, I 'll learn more.

Thank you. Do you have the information for this public adjuster? I have spoken to a lawyer and was planning on filing a lawsuit but I don't know if the adjuster route is better. Any insight you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Do you also live in East Orlando? I am curious if perhaps you are my neighbor since our cases are so similar. I live in Stone Forest off of Alafaya Trl.

I used private adjuster located in Mount Dora (Your Public Adjuster, Inc). So far they have been very responsive and active with regards to my claim. They are working with my roofer to cover troublesome areas as I am having ceiling stains in different parts of the house now. Let me know your progress. Your situation is like mine. Neighbors who filed roof replacement has been approved and I am the only one having to fight for my replacement.

Thank you. My lawyer should be filing the suit either tomorrow or Monday. I'll keep you posted on how it goes.

Same here. First they deny its hail and say it’s Irma from the SI Global report but they won’t show the report to me. Now it’s back to Irma and I just got a new claim adjuster. I will most likely get a lawyer after reading they do this all the time.

I also live in east Orlando. They said it was wind and only 3 tiles were damaged. Houses on both sides got roofs from hail damage. I also have hail damage not wind but they claim it was wind. I’m on my 3rd adjuster with them since different adjusters handle different events. Omg, they got you over a barrel
