Agoda they have debited my credit card for room which I did not stay

Hello agoda,
I am writing from Sikkim India I was in Thailand recently I was charged Rs. 17368.12 for booking reference number [protected] hotel ramada Bangkok from 24 to 30 October I was unaware of this as I didn't stay in the above said property as I did not get any confirmation hence I stayed at the baiyoke boutique hotel instead last moment measure.

Hence I would be very grate ful if the refund can take place at its earliest thank you .

Agoda double taxes charged

I stayed in Mercure Bugis Hotel in Singapore between 24-28 October 2017 and while checking out the hotel they charged me taxes although Agoda shows the total price with taxes. The hotel and Agoda are cheating people with tricky price show policy. Agoda shows the total price with taxes however hotel claims that the prices are without taxes. This is mutual game against to guests to get more money from costumers.

Terrible and dishonest service of both Agoda and Mercure Bugis Hotel.

Agoda I didn't take service but they charged me fully from my visa card.

Dear agoda,

I booked hotels in Vietnam at June 08 2017 to New Space Hotel in Ho Chi Min City. Bookimg ID was [protected]. And another thing, I booked another hotel named Le Clarita, booking ID was [protected]. Acturally I didnt go there and didnt receive service but they took 200.69usd for New Space Hotel and 163.59usd for Le Clarita Hotel, in total 364.28usd was taken from my Visa account. So please give me a way to get back my money. I have record that they took in my visa statement. Hope to see your reply soon. Thank you!

Agoda howard plaza - the fern agoda booking id: [protected] billing discrepancy

On Oct 19, 2017, Emerald Starr checked out of Howard Plaza - The Fern hotel in Agra. I asked for a copy of the room bill and they said they didn't have it and I had to get it from Agoda. I was told by the front desk staff that the total room charge including taxes is Rs.5, 137/night x 3 nights = Rs.15, 411, which = USD237.11 (XE - Intl Bank Exchange Rates).

On my original booking receipt from Agoda the total price was written USD280.59. "You will be charged the USD equivalent of Rs.18, 375.25 on your pay date of October 13, 2017. Exchange rates may vary."

The final receipt from Agoda charged me USD$296.75, whereas the actual bank rate on Oct 13 for Rs.18, 375.25 = USD282.70.

I would like a credit of USD59.64 and/or a very clear explanation of how the Agoda charges were derived.

Agoda Hotel urgent

I booked a room including breakfast and I am told now it does not include it .my booking number is ID # [protected]. Please advise urgently as I depart tomorrow early and don’t want to oay for another breakfast that was supposed to be included.

Agoda wrong hotel name/ details given

I arrived at the Mercure hotel in Manchester, as per my confirmation email instructions, only to discover that my booking had been moved to a different hotel without my knowledge! I was split from my party and forced to stay alone in a different hotel as the Mercure hotel was now fully booked. The hotel which AGODA had actually booked me into was a budget hotel which I would never have chosen to stay in.

Agoda unauthorized saving of card details

Today I was going through the rates of Ayana hotel, Bali on agoda.com, and while checking the final rates I clicked book now, and it processed the request with my saved card details.
To my utter shock the booking got completed without asking for cvv, I understand saving the card number and other details but how can it save my cvv.
Neither it asked for any OTP. This seems to be a serious security concern to me, if this is the case I will not be using agoda for any future bookings.

Agoda unauthorized credit card charges

I booked a hotel in Budapest via Agoda and to be paid in the hotel.
When my card statement came (Mastercard), I saw that I was charged, so I cancelled my booking and they have confirmed that I should not be charged. I sent several follow-ups but received the same canned responses from different associates. I sent my credit card statement etc.

When I received my Visa card statement, I was again charged but for a different amount for the same Budapest Hotel booking. I again sent another email with all my credit card statements screenshots.

To date, I keep receiving emails that they have not received anything from me etc. and no action has been taken. To me these are fraudulent card transactions.

Agoda booking cancellation

We booked, and paid, for our private villa with pool in Ubud in June. Upon arrival at the villa today, the 9th of October after a 2.5 hour, expensive taxi ride, we were informered that we didn't have a reservation with the hotel and they were booked out. Upon trying to contact the hotel and Agoda apparently there had been an error from Agodas end even though they had already received our payment and confirmation. We were then stranded at the hotel with no food or way to contact Agoda for 3 hours. We were not informed in any way shape or form that our booking was not successful, and have now been placed in a inferior accommodation option and also forced to pay our own transfer from the current villa to the new hotel, not only did this cost us money on behalf of agodas fault, it also cost us a whole day of our holiday and we also ended up in a far inferior accommodation option. Agoda has admitted fault but I feel that we should be subsidised for our inconvenience and reality of ruining our holiday.

Agoda no room when arrive after completion of booking

Confirmed booking on agoda, been told by hotel owner that "he sell the room to someone else, no room to live in" upon arrival. Called customer service, waited for 20 minutes until someone picked up. Mr wei from hk customer service, no intention to solve problem at all, keep talking about excuses. This is not the first time bad experience with agoda, not going to use agoda for any booking any more.

Agoda I was charged. but reception told me I have not booked

This is the first time I use agoda and the experience is horrible. I saw a dicount room at 11pm. So I booked it, pay by credit card. But I didn't receive any email or given confirmation number. I thought its ok coz the hotel should have my personal detail that I have filled in the app. But when I arrive the hotel at 4am in the morning. The staff didnt find my name. And I have no booking number. And the 24 hours hotlines is totally [censor] coz no one ask me without a booking number. I leave a message and no one call me back. I have to pay so much extra to find a hotel in dark night. The company must refund me my booking coz I disnt get the room finally. And compensate the extra money that I have paid for another hotel.

Agoda quality of food

I have stopped eating at Scorebirds due of the lack of quality food they offer. Not sue if they employ a chef or manager because most is inedible.
I made the mistake of ordering chicken fingers which were cold, hard, tasteless and probably rather old. I only go to shorebirds for drinks and entertainment. They should stop serving food altogether.
The wait staff is great, but there is no visibility for a manager to complain. I have given up and go to Phillies for food then scoreboards for drinks and the shows on Fridays and Saturdays.

Agoda rates issue I got the higher rate and low category room

Dear Sir,
I always used booking.com for my travel. this is first time i used agoda and get very worst experience..
i attached two booking.. i booked hotel in bangkok metro resort pratunam and recommend my friend to booked the same hotel he made the booking after two hours. they got 2X grand deluxe room in same price in which i booked one room deluxe...i paid 5200 bath for two night one deluxe room and my friend booked 2 room X grand deluxe in 18000 which is almost 5803 bath...

Agoda goldenhome hotel in taipei undercuts agoda

Hi my Wife and me was Travelling in taiwan. So we approach this goldenhome hotel to just to check out how is the room like. So after checking the hotel before I want to book the room. The female staff stop us and say why not she gave us the price stated in agoda website and don't book from agoda. She was very pushy into asking us to give cash rather than booking on agoda. I believe you will be able to investigate. No receipt was given to me while I paid in cash.

Agoda diamond cave resort and spa

Hi I've booked to stay in diamond Cave Resort and Spa in railay. It is not what we expected the room was filthy and things broken. There Was a hole in the bed sheet toothpaste all up the wall shower broken. We have been forced to leave this hotel and find a new place to stay. From looking at the images on the website we strongly believe that we have not had value for money and deserve a partial refund. Kind regards, milly

Agoda no reservation done at budapest hu

I did not make any reservation at Agoda Reservation Hotel at BUDAPEST, HU. Why is it, it was reflected in my Credit Card statement of account. I never make any reservation outside of the Philippines. I just received my CC statement last week and wa surorised why is it that it reflected in my Credit Card? Is there something going on or somebody that used my Card? Please do something. If ever these will not be resolved. I have to make it publicly.

I am from the Philippines and I had the same experience. Got charges from Agoda Hotel Reservatio Budapest Hu last Sept 25, 2018. I called their hot line for [protected] but the answering machine kept on asking for a reservation number which was not reflected in the statement. Am too disappointed as I have been using Agoda for almost 10 years for my travels abroad.

AGODA - kindly check your security measures for clients using credit cards.

I am from Indonesia ... seeing the case you should immediately contact an Agoda call center in your country to ask about your problem and ask for refunds that are charged by Agoda parties, thanks

I just discovered on my credit card statement a purchase I did not make at Agoda Reservation Hotel at BUDAPEST, HU. Although I have a booking made with Agoda, there should not be any charges till a month later!

I have the same situation but this time the scammer draw huge amount through Agoda, Around 591 USD. I was in Bali, Indonesia 3 months ago but I never used Agoda !.

This is exactly what happen to me in Indonesia. The day I submit reservation I got email notification.
Is there any flaws in Agoda.com system, so some person get the credit card information from its database?

Although it's just 1.00 USD, but I got twice notification.
I have to cancel the reservation because I have to change my card due to this incident. This is unacceptable.

Halo kak rio, saya juga dpt sms serupa seperti kakak, saya coba telpn call center agoda, setelah di beritahu csnya kalau hal tersbut hanya otorisasi saja, d karenakan saya melakukan transaksi pemesanan hotel pesan sekarang bayar nanti, pada saat tagihan di bayar bank kemungkinan jumlah total biaya yg kita bayarkan nanti termasuk usd 1.00 itu, jadi tdk perlu khawatir.thanks

Agoda false and misleading information provided while booking hotel raniban retreat in pokhara nepal

We booked two mountain view rooms on 12th July. Today when we reached Raniban, we were given a room (110 and 109) which are dirty damped with termites everywhere, small and shabby room with bushes around and full of mosquitoes and insects and the view from room is attached in the photo and videos we took. This is one of the three costliest rooms of the retreat but is having absolutely no view of mountains or valley. Instead there are bushes/banana trees and a dirty foreground. It seemed to be just an extra room which is built in the remaining place left. The condition inside the room is equally poor.Attaching few snaps for that also.
Also there is no road to reach to the property. There is no disclaimer anywhere that this is a place which is suitable for hikers alone. We travelled with two kids and it was a sheer life risk to travel to the place by car.
There are few discrepancies in terms of the services mentioned in the booking voucher and what we actually got as well.

Could you please look into these issues and explain?
If you can provide us with some email id of this company where we can lodge a complaint over mail then we could share the photos & videos immediately.

Agoda sudden very expensive hotel accommodation cost/price (booking no.[protected])

This is regarding the Sept 15-17, 2017 hotel accomodation we availed of. For your information and you can check it as well in your records, I stayed in Kimberley hotel in the previous 2 weekends ( Sept 1-3 and Sept 8-10). I stayed there because of the price and I believed then that Agoda is offering a very good affordable hotel price and as always claimed by Agoda.

And then last week, I didnt notice that suddenly the price doubled. How could that happen? I just noticed the price charged when I was preparing for the trip.

I believe that Agoda should take care of its customers especially us who always use your company for hotel accomodations. Please do take note also that the rooms we used in the hotel were all the same for those 3 consecutive weekends. So why charge us for Php27, 467.26 compared to Php10, 520.80? Its also indicated our room is superior not standard. But all were standard. So why the very high charge?

No. This is not good. It's not right. It's disappointing. Please be good to your customers. Ive been using Agoda for quite sometime. With this incident, I'm having second thoughts if I will use Agoda again or if I can recommend it to other people.

Please refund half of the price you charged us. The hotel room/location is just good at a price of Php5k+ per night.

Agoda refund of cancellation amount, id no [protected]

Hello,
I have cancelled my room booking on August 2017 vide cancellation id [protected] and the refund amount was rupees 3789.68 however till now there is no response regarding my refund. Very difficult to reach your customer support through telephone which they do not call back after receiving the voice message.
If yours is world wide online booking company then the procedure to refund the amount and other services should be more quicker than the lethargic attitude shown by your staff

I am really upset with your cancellation procedure.

Agoda need request for refund...

Hi, last week 30/8/2017 I do booked a room for 01/09/2017(a night) at Amverton Heritage Resort, room charges will be Rm271.23, and I was using online banking to pay the payment, but in the same I received an email from Agoda that Hong Leong Bank have rejected this payment, but my account already deducted this amount. So I can't get any room booking and my money has been deducted. On 03/09/17 I received an email from your security online payment MOLpay receipt that they had deducted the payment from account.

I would like who is the person in charge please notice on this matter and please refund back my money as soon as possible.

Last 2 days I do leave a voice message to your customer service line but no body reply or call me.
I hope I can hear from you soon. Below I will attach some email screenshot that I received from Agoda and MOLpay. Thanks
