I received an email from frantisek.[protected]@gmx.com saying that I will get paid from home for editing texts. I proofread the texts a couple of times. The company supposed to pay me $155 then they told me that this job is suspended and wanted to hire me as their representative. They asked to screen shot my Paypal account with my valid photo in it and a California id and email it to them so that they can activate my account. They send me an email to send an invoice to the buyer of $7662. I have received the money from the buyer. The company wanted me to wire the money to them but I get the 5% commission plus the $155. I went to the bank to wire the money to Dmitrii semenov but the banker told me it could be a fraud because they had a lot of cases like this. I have $7439 currently in my bank. I have contacted the buyer if he already received the item if not I will just give him the money back. I don't want to get in trouble.

This company also contacted me. I did the text editing for them. They also sent me the 'temporarily discontinuing the editing but are hiring more reps. I applied, sent in my resume and was interviewed over the phone. It all 'seemed' legit. The first PayPal transaction came through. I wired the money. A few days later the seller filed a dispute. PayPal has the -$7300.00 balance in my account! I'm faxing all correspondence from them to PayPal and have requested a wire transfer reversal from my bank. This had been an unemployed person's NIGHTMARE! and Yes, I feel very stupid for falling for it.

I was contacted to do the same thing. And just today they told me the editing is temporarily suspended. I would be receiving my $155 during my first transaction. I had been looking up the company and didn't find anything until they gave me a phone number, this is how I found you. I will not proceed with them. Wow.

It's a complete SCAM. I "edited texts" and was promised $155. I refused to buy into the "become a representative" to transfer money scheme and never heard from them again.

I also got the same offer. After $155, they offered me a different job. I think this is a SCAM. Did anyone get any money from them uptill now?

And...are these people who have contacted us working for Redoon.pl? Because they are rated as a safe website from a few different websites that do scam-checking. They've been around for 9 years. So are these people not working for them?

Report all your emails and conversations to Paypal and Google. It's definitely a scam, I've received the EXACT same emails even up to the $155, it was incredibly difficult to find anything bad on Redcoon until I looked up their number and have found a number of people claiming it to be a scam. Sorry, it would have been really nice if it were real, but it's just real crappy people trying to take advantage of people who are in need of extra money.

Trick. The bad guy offers to sell products at discount. The bad guy pays for products with stolen credit card, the buyer pays you. You didn't buy or sell anything so there is no reason for you to have the money. You send cash to the bad guy, you have police at your door. Your defense? A stranger in a country far away told you to do it. You don't know his real name or address, but you sent the money to him anyway.

nooo...stop... don't do anything. This is a SCAM. The money that is in your account will soon be taken away by the authorities as soon as they get word and if you "refund" this money you are out the door your interest, banking fees, etc..

Don't do anything until you contact the authorities.

I received a similar email. It seems to good to be true but I cannot find any negative scam information about REDCOON yet. Will you please follow up on your initial posting.
