I GOT TO THE SHOP @ 12PM THEY DIDNT START ON MY HEAD UNTIL 3:30/4:00! BEFORE THE LADY STARTED ON MY HAIR SHE ASKED ME COULD SHE EAT LUNCH AND I SAID YES, OKAY THAT TOOK ABOUT 30MINS! SHE WORKED ON MY HEAD FOR 15 MINS THEN TOOK A BREAK FOR 20MINS, CAME BACK WORKED ON MY HEAD FOR 20 MINS AND TOOK A 5 MIN BREAK THEN STARTED BACK ON MY HAIR AND I HAD @ FELL ASLEEP AND WOKE UP SHE WAS GONE! MY FRIEND WAS @ THE SHOP WITH ME & I HAD ASKED HER WHERE THE LADY HAD WENT AND SHE HAD INFORMED ME THAT THE LADY HAD BEEN GONE! SO SHE SAW MY HEAD THE LIL BIT THE LADY HAD DONE AND TOLD ME IT DIDNT LOOK RIGHT! SOME OF MY PARTS WAS BIG AND SOME WAS SMALL! MY FRIEND TOOK A PIC OF MY HAIR AND I WENT OFF! THE MANAGER CAME IN AND I ASKED HER WHO WAS GONE DO MY HAIR BC I HAD BEEN THERE SINCE 12PM AND I INFORMED THE OWNER THAT MY HAIR WAS NOT RIGHT AND THAT THEY NEEDED TO FIX IT AND THE MANAGER CATCHES AN ATTITUDE AND I TOLD THEM THEY EITHER FIX IT OR TAKE ALL OF IT OUT AND GIVE MY MONEY BACK! THE MANAGER WAS REAL UNPROFESSIONAL WE ARGUED AWHILE AND BY THAT TIME THE LADY THAT WAS DOING MY HAIR HAD CAME IN THE SHOP! SO THEY ENDED UP TAKING MY HAIR A LOOSE AND I HAD TO WAIT FOR ANOTHER LADY TO DO IT! WHICH SHE DIDNT GET STARTED TIL 5PM! WITH 2 PEOPLE ON MY HEAD THEY DIDNT FINISH UNTIL 3:30AM! AND THE MANAGER HAD JUST GIVEN ME A $10 DISCOUNT! THAT WAS MY FIRST EXPERIENCE AND MY LAST WITH THAT SHOP! THEY DID NOT APOLOGIZE OR ANYTHING AND WHAT MADE MATTERS WORSE I LIVED 113MILES FROM THE SHOP! THEY TALKED IN THEIR LANGUAGE AND ONLY GOD KNOWS WHAT THEY SAID BUT I WAS NOT PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE! THAT SAME DAY SOMEONE ELSE HAD COMPLAINED BEFORE ME! IT WAS HORRIBLE!

I went to the African World of Braids shop on friday to get my hair done is some micros and the lady did it and did a very good job, and when she almost done doing my hair a lady walked in and was saying that he hair would not curl and was wondering what she could do to make it curl because she had tried eveything but nothing worked, so I should have listened to that...I have had micros several times before and never have had hair like this before...It felt to me more like synthetic hair than human hair...Iwas very upset because this is not what I paid for...So I called the owner and let him know he started off kinda of nice but whne I told him that I was not happy about the hair he brushed it off, and I did not pay normal price for micros which is $180 I paid $190, and they are charging people all this money but not using the correct kind of hair...Then the owner of the shop was saying that they would make it wet n wavy for me so that would make me happy, but that is not what i paid for, so he tells me if I refer 10 people he will do my hair for free, and he would give me 20 percent off of my next visit, why would i do this and that just means that i am going to be paying almost another $200 on getting my hair done again, I cannot trust them and they know that they are doing you wrong and you still want people to give you their business...no I am just so frustrated I dont know what to do, but if you want quality hair and a good job with no mess afterwards if you have an issue go some where else not to African World of Braids...
