I went through the same process. These guys are idiots, liers, criminals. They don't even answer the phone any more. The phone does not egsist, should anybody go after them, this looked as a regular company and now we can see that this is just a bunch of criminals and idiots. Where is the law, is anybody ready and willing to help the people.

I too was scammed by this unethical organization back in 2009 for 995.00 that was charged to my charge account. You know the one they were supposed to be helping me out with! I called to cancel and get a refund and never got it. I was going through a divorce, paid off my card and chalked it up as a lesson learned. Well you won't believe what they are doing now. (5 years later!)...I just received a collection notice from a third party collection agency for $404.46. on behalf of AFL Financial. They want MORE $$$$$$. Incredible! If anyone knows of any class action suit against them Please let me know. I will check back on this site occasionally to get any updates.

I got ripped off $995 in Nov by Jessie at the same number. I too was told I would be refunded my money. The company was called Freedom Financial. Now, 6/22 the company's phone numbers are now disconnected and when I call Jessie his message says AFL Financial. If someone goes after them I want in to get these guys! I work hard for what I have!

I got scammed too. In oct I paid the 990.00. By april of 2010 a Robert Smith from AFL told me I didn't have enough debt over $3000 with an interest rate above 10% to have them help me out. He said he would refund my money and it could take up to 30 business days to refund the money. It has been 45 days and still nothing. The only number I have is Freedom Financial and they told me its not there problem because they didn't charge me and the only way they can contact afl is by fax. So I sent a fax stating what happened and still nothing. This is all BS and needs to stop. I work hard everyday for the money I make and don't need something like this to put me farther in the hole. Does anyone out there have a contact number?

Actually, someone should contact a New York lawyer for a class action lawsuit.

AFL's "Third party administrator" actually agreed to refund my money. Then, after three months with no refund, I asked them to please give me their registered agent name and address so I could file a lawsuit. They refused to give me this information. Amazingly, I called my credot card company that was charged, and they agreed to refund my money, including corresponding interest! Thank you Chase!

I still want to sue AFL. The guy's name who promised me a refund is Jesse Harmon. His cell number is [protected], which is a Maine area code. Please feel free to call and scream obscenities at him.

i have had the same thing happen to me now no way to get ahold of anybody. I dont know how people can get away with this stuff. But seems like they do well i am going to try going through my credit card company. Cause its not fair for anybody to be lied to for someone elses profit. dave

i WAS RIPPED OFF TOO, I LIVE IN NEW JERSEY. IT WAS 990 DOLLARS AND THEY SAID THEY ARE FROM DELEWARE, THEY CHARGED ME 2 TIMES AND I CANT CONTACT THEM, THEY HAVE AN ANSWERING MACHINE ON. AND MY CREDIT CARD CANT STOP THE CHARGE. NOW I AM DEEPER 1800 DOLLARS IN DEBT.

I agree, they are nothing but a rip off. I paid them $990.00 and they did nothing and refuse to give me my money back. They are a scam.

I totally agree with the other folks on here. This group is a bunch of con artists out to rape the good hard working people of America. They have no conscience and do not deliver anything for the $990.00 that they collect up front.
DO NOT use these people ! They are total crooks and should all be jailed, even the secretaries who work for them. Anyone with any self-pride would never work for such common theives!
