PHONE CALL TELLING ME A LEGAL OFFICER WILL BE AT MY HOME ON 5/25/2011 TO SERVE PAPERS AND GAIN A SIGNATURE FROM MY HUSBAND AND IF HE IS NOT AVAILABLE THEY CAN CHANGE THE LEGAL PAPERWORK SO I CAN SIGN IT IN HIS PLACE, I BEING HIS WIFE..HIGHLY ILLEGAL!
THEY ALSO LEFT A PHONE NUMBER TO CALL BACK THAT IS AN INVALID PHONE NUMBER! THE PHONE NUMBER THIS COMPANY GAVE WAS [protected]. I BELIVE THIS IS A SCAM AS I KNOW OF NO BUSINESSES BY THE NAME OF AFG & ASSOCIATES THAT WE HAVE EVER BEEN IN CONTACT WITH IN ANY WAY...THIS NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED BIG TIME!

They called my son's home and informed him that I was to be served with papers to appear in court for an outstanding debt and a warrent would be issued if I failed to appear in Cumberland County Courthouse. They even gave him a case number
I called the number assuming it was the Courthouse. It was AFG. A man by the name of Frank offered a deal for partial payment. I asked for it to be put in writing and sent to me. He refused and continued to threaten me.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I GOT A CALL FROM THIS # ABOUT A MONTH AGO FROM A JOSEPH GONSALEZ SAYING THERE WAS A LAWSUIT AGAINST ME AND MY EMPLOYMENT WAS ALREADY VERIFIED! IT WAS FOR A JEWELRY ACCT I HAD ABOUT A YEAR AGO. I WAS JUST INFORMED BY MY EMPLOYER THAT I AM GOING TO BE GARNISHED!

I was contacted today by this company. They said there is a lawsuit pending and are concerned I will miss my court date. Also said they have made several attempts to contact me and to serve me. None of this information is true. This is the first time I have heard of this company. I just reviewed my credit report and there is not even a company listed with this name or the reference number on my credit report anywhere.
