This company is a total scam. They claim to be lawyers when in actuality it turns out they are not lawyers at all, but simply paralegals. I originally found them on craigslist and solicited their services on July 29th, 2009. On this day I paid in full the $745 they requested to handle my child visitation schedule modification. Since this date I have not received any services at all. I have been the one making attempts to call and email and no one answers the phone ever. I had received I email about a month ago after leaving numerous messages and emails to be called back. In the email I was asked at what numbers could I be contacted. This is odd since I initially gave them 2 working numbers (cell phones which are always on me) to be reached at, but I still replied to that email with 3 numbers, including my home phone. To this day, I have not received any response. Last week I was able to get someone on the phone finally and they said they would call back that day or the next to speak with me regarding the refund I was requesting and that was 5 days ago. I called again after the 2 days had passed and was given the same response that someone would definitely call be back by the next business day and still nothing. Today I called and got the voicemail. (They probably have caller ID and recognized my number after so many calls within a week. ) I am a patient person but 5 months is absolutely ridiculous. DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I just wish I would have researched them before calling them because I would not be in this predicament now. I am also filing a complaint with the BBB.
Scam! They are a complete scam! we contacted them to try to get visits with my husbands son! But now since we gave them the info to get the money we havent heard from them! No one answers the phone, they call back at time we say not too, they don't call when they say they are! They told us they were attorneys in Michigan City Indiana and once we found out they were a scam we realized they are actually out of Valencia California! We have to get a new debit card and everything! I don't understand how someone can get away with this! They are getting people's hopes up and then nothing! Our hearts were broken! I cried, we've waited for this for so long and thought we were finally gonna get to see him! we are due to have our wedding this summer and was promised he would get everything done so we could have him in our wedding and now we have to start all over and find a real attorney! I am soooo disgusted! this is very heartbreaking to realize how many people he is doing this too!
My son in law has contacted Affordable Law Group, Up until the time he sent them money $1500.00 to be exact he heard from them all the time, after he sent the money his calls and e-mails went unanswered, Now that he has asked for his money back and my daughter has posted a complaint they have tried calling.
My son in law Terry Neste specifically asked that they do not call him at 5 pm because he is a teacher and has class at that time. Well you guessed it that is when they will call. They tell him some one will call him after 7 pm when he is home the call never comes. Well these people do not know me Terry's' mother in law I will file a complaint with the Attorney General, the sheriff's dept the bank and any one else I can think of. I will go as far as as I have to to make sure he gets a full refund with in the week. If I have to I will get an attorney, but i will do what ever it takes. He works hard for his money and these people will not get away with stealing it.

Always Affordable Law Corp in JENSEN BEACH FLORIDA is a FRAUD owned by Karyn Elaine Leopold. She has been arrested half a dozen times in her life. She is a "FLUNKY" PARALEGAL...You can get her arrest picture at the Fort Lauderdale police Station. She
was charged with a Felony for "battery charges" with a weapon! How could she have received a certificate to become a paralegal? I understand that she has taken retainers to perform work for clients and can never be reached. She is 41 years of age. Has 18 alias names, has lived in 52 different locations, and has filed for bankrupsy 3 times. She has been fired from previous jobs 6 or more times. I dont understand how these people can get away with all of this. To make things easier for everyone, I will post her arrest picture on this blog. PLEASE BE VERY CAUTIOUS... AND REPORT THESE PEOPLE!
I spoke with CJ Ward an investigator for Keyt News at 730 Miramonte Drive, Santa Barbara, CA 93109 last night. He stated to me that it would be our best interest to inform him of our situations. Please contact him.
Edward was second in charge for Father's Choice and CJ was a part in stopping them.

Not a scam?!?! then why is nicole smiths number listed with ext 2.. but u can NEVER reach her thru that number.. the only way u can reach this "refund specialist" is thru this complaint board..Again, If you weren't scammed then why are u here?.. this is a complaint board for people who had a bad run in with this "company".. Move on.. Find another board to praise these low life people.. No one here cares about success when we are all going thru pain..
Best bet for the price they charge for their services, had my paperwork filed within a couple weeks and I couldn't ask for more. I wasn't ever told I was talking with a lawyer only that it was an option. Hope other people realize this, they seem to be under the wrong impression. Either way I recommend them to others!

When I contacted them they did not claim to be lawyers, Mark told me that a lawyer was an option if I wanted one, but my case did not require it so... anyways I got great service for a great price.
Not a scam at all. Had my paperwork filed with the court and finished my case within a decent time frame.
I don't know why you would file a complain I had great service, they always answered my emails and did exactly what they needed to for my case. I would use them again if there ever was a need, great price for the service provided.
NOT A SCAM. What are you talking about I paid 750 and my case was done in about three weeks. Why do I have to reply to all of these comments, you people are ridiculous. They do exactly what they say... They told me ahead of time how it would work and that's exactly what happened. First the phone call then some interview thing and then my papers were filed!
Bernice Cahoon I'm sorry but I disagree with you! I paid the $750 and although it did take a few weeks my case is done and I am happy with the result completely. All of these people complaining on here probably are calling every five minutes to check on their case or something. Anyways if anyone on here wants to contact me they can at thewho1951@hotmail.com. To everyone going back and forth with Nicole Smith.. Stop.. Contact the Better Business Bureau and report them.. Fill out a debit return form requested thru your bank and listed the reason as "fraud".. Forward a copy of the BBB complaint with the request for the credit.. Don't waste your time calling and writing these ###.. Ms Smith is nothing more than the mouth piece for that company.. She's paid to talk her companies way out of situations by merely turning the already bad dealing around on you.. If anything she should be using that mouth piece for something far greater work, other than sucking the life out of people already going thru tough times.. Ms. Smith stop it.. find a real job like pole dancing or something else better than what you are doing with your life.. And tell Fred he's even worse than you, giving me his number only to create more beating around the bush on your companies behalf.. Bdaddy if you are real congrats.. You are the first person that has had a positive dealing with that "company".. and how did u find this board? You do realize it's a complaint board, right.. let me guess u went and google "affordable legal help fraud" just like I did.. Any way excuse the fustration I just wasted 5 precious months of my childrens lives requesting a refund..
I paid $750 too and within the next week I was already doing a phone interview to get my case started. Within two weeks I had papers filed with the court. I paid them $1500 got a lawyer and got my Child support complete revised, they answered every email i ever sent to them and I think this lady complaining is full of it. NOT A SCAM, I got everything that was promised to me. Maybe this person just had a difficult case or something but do not judge Affordable Law Group by this Post omg its so wrong.

I used Affordable law group and also paid the $1500. I got to them through email very easily, I get to see my kids more often now and I would recommend them to other friends.
